I am so glad to have stopped in at this shop. When I first walked in, I was greeted immediately. I expressed my thoughts and concerns with my car to the gentlemen there and they went absolutely above and beyond. Not only did he explain in detail what was going on with my car but the mechanics there showed me as well. I felt heard and understood which made me feel much more comfortable. They were very truthful and considerate to my needs. I highly recommend coming here & will definitely be coming back again !

The Safety Inspection was finished in no more than 20 minutes. I appreciate the quick process. However, when I arrived at the the place, I felt forgotten. I was the first customer at the moment for a safety inspection. I was told to sit tight and wait. A second customer came in and asked for a safety inspection. They proceeded to do his inspection first. After they were done, a third customer came by for a safety inspection. The employees proceeded to do her inspection. I was the last one to get the inspection. I wasnt sure what was going on, but I thought these customers had appointments or I was specifically the last person on the list to have my car inspected. Overall, I waited almost an hour to get this process done. Hopefully they can fix this issue in the future.

This place is not the same like 1-2 years ago, now there is two new young guys that they are always looking for money. All my family brings their cars here for state inspection and never had issues but they always list something that there is wrong with the car because they want money so they can fix, don’t fix your car there just take it somewhere else you will save money, believe me what they ask you for repairs is less of what you will spend. I am not coming back here EVER.

Great customer service . This is my third time coming in to perform my emision test, but due to me having the newer vehicle, you have to drive the vehicle about 50mille or more in order for the test to be performed on the car. Even thought some of the components says not ready on the test. These guys whenever I come in . They are polite and 2 out 3 times as soon as I come in they take care of it right away.I definitely recommend these guys.

AAC really took care of me and my 98 Toyota Camry. When I inherited the car almost 2 years ago it only had 78K miles. We have put a lot on it since September of 2020. Highway and city miles. A few things needed repair which I expect with the vehicle’s age. The two times I’ve been there, the manager and mechanics, specifically Jason, Orlando and Marcus were very knowledgeable and helpful.Note: I dont know the name of the other mechanics.I can confidently say that AAC is my go-to automotive repair facility🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This shops owned by a lying POS. Grate people super nice but when it comes to get work done that’s a different story, they will lie to you, they will tell you that u have things to fix on ur car but in reality your car is most likely fine just go to another place and ur car magically repairs on the way to another shop.

Dont go to this place to get your state inspection... period. I usually go somewhere else but decided to go there because I was in a rush and forgot the problems that I have had there in the past. They failed me for suspension issues (these needed to be replaced), parking brake (that worked as designed), turn signals showing white light (took the build out and it was amber), driver seat didnt slide forward (which was not a safety issue) and brake rotors to thin (which they were). Had to call state police to come our and inform the state inspector what the rules were. 3 of the six things were fine and I didnt have to fix. After fixing everything, they inspected the vehicle and said I had to fix addition things that were fine on the previous inspection 12 days prior.Then while waiting for them to go over my car the second time which ended up being about an hour, I saw him fail other people for the exact same things... parking brakes and suspension issues. Listen when I tell you Im not the only one. Read the reviews and beware. I told someone about my experience there and their response was, everyone knows the are a ripoff. Beware!

I bought a coupon for a synthetic oil change service for my car at groupon, I had called in advance and they told me that it was not necessary to make an appointment, everything was fine until I got to the site and started explaining about the coupon, I tried to access my Account from my cell phone and could not do it, fortunately I am always prepared and I had my laptop in the car, when I tried to enter the account again I asked if they had Wi-Fi service, the manager response was that they did not provide Wi-Fi because they cannot afford it; I was not satisfied with that explanation; anyway I managed to enter my account from the laptop using my hotspot service and I redeemed the coupon; Immediately started to observe the waiting room, and I noticed that there was not water filter, coffee machine nor TV, NOTHING, in fact, the clients bathroom is used by the employees too, they all share the same bathroom. When I asked for water or coffee, the young man at the counter told me that this luxurious service was not provided and argued that they prefer to have low prices and not offer that kind of luxury, extra amenities because then it would increase the cost of the service.He also indicated that if I wanted coffee I could walk to the gas station and get it, which is owned by the same owner of 3 more business, to which I replied, that it made no sense if they did not offer coffee in the waiting room, why go somewhere else to get coffee? that in my opinion it was very unpleasant that they send you to another place to get water or coffee. I explained that my feedback was already negative regarding to the luxury services that they do not offer. I was talking with the cashier who knows how to handle the situation and who I consider valid, thats his job and thats why they pay him however, I gave him my opinion and that I would write a review of my experience, I already commented that it would be negative and that I would not recommend this place to anyone nor would I return in the near future. When the waiting time had passed, I was giving him my last recommendations as a client, I also commented to him that I noticed that besides of these luxuries a hand sanitizer bottle is not available for customers either, especially in this time of plandemic, and when my opinion was expressed, abruptly, without asking permission, the mechanic-( rude guy)- who my car was assigned to, approached, he left the keys on the counter without offering permission to interrupt the conversation with the manager, he crossed between the counter and I almost stepping on my feet with a rude and overbearing attitude, I mean, quite reckless and rude. I told the manager that such attitude was unacceptable and despicable behavior. I think that at that moment I was already upset enough and had been able to handle my discontent but this was the worse service I had ever received . Obviously I will not recommend anyone to go to this site and I will never go there again for any kind of service, even if it is the last place in Manassas. In conclusion, a place that does not consider and respect the customer is not a place where I can recommend anyone to go to, in fact, the waiting room was empty, without customers. In addition to these negative things, ALL, I indicated to the cashier that the employees rude attitude deserved a big X in red and that he would remind the employee that part of his salary I paid for that day.

DO NOT GO HERE. I visited Advance Auto Care today to have my annual Vehicle Inspection completed. After they reviewed my car, they explained to me that I would need to have the lower control bars replaced because the bushings were going bad. After speaking with sales reps, they stated that the quote for the entire job would be 912 dollars. I decided to take my car to get a second opinion and went to the Kia dealership to verify. After their service team looked at my car, they informed me that they could not identify any issues with my vehicle and it was clear for a passing score.

Today I found a screw in my tire. I called multiple places, however everyone wanted to schedule me for later this week. I finally called NTA who said they could get me in immeditatly.Once they removed the screw they noticed that I didnt have a leak. They ended up just balancing my tire and charging me for that.They could have easily gotten over on me and just said it needed to be patched, but instead they were honest, extremely quick, and courteous.From the time I made the phone call to the time I left NTA was about 45 minutes.They definitely gained a returning customer!!

Great Service. The tech found an issue with my Truck and called the nearest dealer and got the part covered under warranty and made an appointment for my car at the dealer. The Manager and team are great and they never up sold me either. They did inform me of up coming issues with my i.e. power steering fluid will need a change in about 6-9 months, but they did not force me to make an appointment nor do it right then and there. I recommend them to anyone.

DONT GO HERE. I scheduled my oil change two weeks ago for 10 AM today. I went at 10 AM to get my oil changed, but they told me that the oil technician is not available currently because he is sick. So I asked, then what are they going to do about my car. They told me that another technician will change my oil after his few appointments. I was mad, but I said okay. The time changed to 11AM and my car is still sitting outside without any technicians help. So I went and asked again, hows things coming along. The guy told me that the sick guy is actually coming on his way so that he will be here in 10 min. I said okay. 20 minutes has passed, but he is still not here. So at this point, I was really mad. I went again, and asked him what is going on. He told me that he is unable to contact the sick guy. From this point on, I started yelling at him because my appointment was at 10 AM but now the time is 12PM. He said, can you come in the afternoons. Or even next week. I said, NO. I originally had another appointment at 12 and I couldnt make it to the appointment because of this. I work full time so I dont usually have time to do this. I dont know what their problem is but they shouldnt treat customers in this way. When appointment is made, there shouldnt be any delays or time changes unless the customer changes. Time is gold these days and I dont understand why they are acting as if customers time is unimportant. I am definitely not going here whatsoever from this point on.

Front cashier was very polite and helpful but the staff in the shop was very rude and disrespectful. I was standing outside the shop bay door and one of trainers in the shop came over and slammed the bay door in my face without even saying “ I’m closing the door could you come to the front” no he just slammed it and walked away leaving me standing and couldn’t even see my car.I’m visiting the area and I would not recommend this shop to anyone just off of the energy I received from this guy!

I read the reviews before going here and can honestly say I had none of the issues that some of the reviewers had. I called and made an appointment and they were able to fit me in right away. When I got there they were ready for me and even knew my name. The staff was nothing but professional and courteous. I opted for the headlight restoration, which they were able to complete while I waited, and the results are night and day different!

I took my 2001 Highlander in for its state inspection a year ago and was told that while it passed inspection, the brake and struts would need to be replaced soon. Not being a mechanic I went to a different dealer who Ive have used in the past for a second opinion. The second repair shop replaced the brake pads and said the struts were fine. Nine months later the car was stuttering rather badly and definitely needed new struts. I took the car back to Advanced Auto Car where the mechanic Grant, explained every step of the repair and showed me exactly what was wrong. It turns out the brake calipers were frozen, the pads were completely worn out on one side only, and the rotors were burned. And yes it was time to replace the struts after 116,000 miles on the car. A staff member curiously drove me to my home while the car was being repaired. Although the estimate for repair was costly it was within the range of other repair facilities I checked. The final bill was less than was quoted; the manager was able to find parts cheaper than expected and passed the savings on to me. I am very pleased with NTA of Advance Auto Care and intend to use them again.

Quick read - NEVER use this company for your car needsRecommendation - Go to Virginia Tire and Auto in Gainesville or Centreville as they represent a business model every customer dreams of (seriously, I cant recommend them enough)Would give zero stars if possible because the experience was so terrible. Wont give details but their business model feels built around putting money before the customer.Will say that this location tried to fail me again, so I took it to Virginia Tire and Auto and they did their inspection and said I passed with flying colors.

Talk about a bunch of crooks. Avoid this place like the plague. I went in for a state inspection and they said i failed because my left headlight was too high. I asked them to show me the test and it was bogus. Both lights were the same. I pointed this out and they said they were just trying to get me a deal by only failing 1. I told them i had never failed because of headlights before this and they said that happens all the time because moat places dont check closely. Bull, bull, and more bull. They told me if i fixed it myself or had it done elsewhere it likely would still not pass because the height requirement was so specific. More Bull. They pretty much force you to pay for additional repairs to get your sticker. The worst part was they didnt even fix it after i agreed to the charges. They just waited a few minutes and closed the hood. Are you kidding me?!While i sat there waiting another man came in complaining because his wife came in for a state inspection earlier and left with a $4k bill because they swindled her because she was a woman. The owner and him argued and a bunch of mechanics came into the office area to intimidate the man. Eventually the man called what he said was the better business bureau and put in a complaint. He apologized to me and suggested i stop the inspection on my car before they swindle me. Should have listened.This is the perfect example of a dirty mechanic and i warn anyone who is contemplating going here to avoid this place and prevent getting scammed!

If negative stars can be given, I would definitely give them a -1000 stars. If you wonder why they have no line for inspections is because they will pull your car in and fail a perfectly passable car for anything so they could fix it at an extremely high price to bring the shop money. They have 4-5 lifts and only one had a car on a lift. Most shops that have good people will have a full garage and long line for inspection. That empty inspection line sure did fool me for the 1st and last time. I shouldve seen the signs, empty lot, empty sitting area, and empty bays= Do anything to keep doors open! They are in business for the wrong reason and will hopefully have to close their doors for scamming innocent people. I only went here because Velero Gas Station off Sudley and Godwin had an extremely long line. Very good and honest inspection there. PLEASEE BE SMART AND DONT BE SCAMMED BY THESE GUYS!!!!

Id give them 0 stars if I could, I called to make an appointment for an oil change and was told Its first come, first serve, but well get it done. Showed up about 10 minutes later and a large female worker was sitting down (BOTH times Ive stopped by shes been sitting down) and asked what I needed and I said an oil change and she, along with a male bearded worker behind the counter, said itll be Monday before they could do an oil change, its Friday around 10am btw. No cars in the bay, just some lazy pos workers doing no work and wanting to get paid. Last time Ill ever go to there!

Went here 45 minutes before they closed simply to have a tire plugged due to hole. Was asked to go to office and wait. Waited for 15 minutes while everyone stood around in garage and talked within clear view of me in office.If you’re busy, that’s one thing. If you don’t want to work and provide me a service for my money, that’s another. Just close your shop if that’s the case.UPDATE 11/20/2017: The manager called me directly to get clarification of what went on. I appreciate that he time he spent to get clarification on the situation and to make sure this doesnt happen to future customers--updated from 1-star to 3-stars.

Had an appointment for an oil change over the weekend. As always, used Groupon. It took ~2.5 hours of wait to get the job done. What upset me was that I had to inquire as to why it took longer than the quoted ~30 min. Was told the tech had “skipped my turn”. Wasn’t offered anything to remedy their mistake, but upon asking if they could squeeze in a state inspection, they agreed. And thise were long 2.5 hours as I was just 5 weeks post foot surgery and using crutches, having my foot down in the waiting area was an agony.I’ve been a customer there several times before and they were quick and sharp each time. Perhaps this was just one screw up, which is why I’ll be a customer again. I do think they should’ve offere me further accommodations given what had happened, perhaps a discount for future service or even a bottle of water while waiting, but none was offered. Personnel, however, were respectful and friendly. Mistakes will happen and it’s important to communicate them rather than having a customer inquire because by that time, the customer is already agitated and likely made up their mind to never return. I do hope this was just one instance and will give the shop another chance by returning as a customer.

Disappointing. Used 2 like the guy that worked here b4. These new people are cheats. Tried 2 fail my inspection 2nd time within the 14 day window. Told me I wasnt there until I pulled up my receipt. Please avoid this repair shop. They are corrupted and dishonest to enormously rip off to disability people. They are discriminating against disabilities and they love to overcharge customers. The unscrupulous shop manager spent on hard drugs from excessive overcharged profits. My ex-wife got the bill of 2600 dollars for unnecessary repairs - $1100 dollars for front struts, and transmission oil pan gaskets, and 1500 dollars for labor cost. So, we went to other two auto repair shops. Both of them checked her car. They did not find anything wrong with her car, and her car is fine. Avoid NTA of Advance Auto Care at all cost.

I went here to get my inspection done.. They did get me inspected in an okay time frame and no one was rude. I wouldnt say that their customer service is extraordinary or anything.. my state inspection failed for rear brake pads. I was told they were competitive in pricing, but they quoted me $400 to install only reason brake pads work about a 90 min to a 2 hour window it would be done in.. thats not competitive. I am getting my brake pads installed for $100 today and am just floored that they would try to price gouge a young single mother by Soo much.. unless you know what you should really be paying for work you need to get done, do not use them... They will take you for everything you have.

Dont ever take your vehicle here. Even if its for a simple oil change. First they told me our caliper was leaking, then as I was there for an oil change, apparently they never put oil in our truck.Took it to Chevy to have them do some warranty work on our Tahoe and come to find out there was NO oil in our truck. NONE! Chevy did further inspection due to having an oil change on March 15 and there was no leaks. Nothing to indicate having oil completely gone out of our engine.Immediately I called National Tire and Auto requesting for a manager and they gentleman said speaking. I explained the situation and he could care less! Questioning Chevys work and the fact that they put four quarts of oil in our truck. Thank goodness we did take it to Chevy. Or else our engine would have been blown!Please. Do. Not. Take. Your. Vehicle. To. This. Place.Very unprofessional and could care less about you or your vehicle.

My daughter took her Subaru Impreza here for an over heating issue. The mechanic replaced the thermostat. My daughter paid a little over $300 for parts and labor. The thermostat did not resolve the over heating issue, the mechanic gave her a detailed receipt of what he thought was wrong, an estimate on fixing those things, and even went as far as putting in the notes that the car was not worth fixing.My daughter left the shop with a vehicle that was still overheating. She brought the car home to us, at which time we replaced the things the mechanic suggested and then some. The problem still continued to persist. As a last ditch effort my husband and I took it to the Subaru dealership and paid for another diagnostic. Subaru said the thermostat was faulty, replaced it and told me to come get the car. My bill was $188 with the new thermostat included and the car worked perfectly. They did tell me that the head gasket had a small crack in it, and the likely cause was the car overheating from the faulty thermostat! This is a 2k+ problem that we now have.So I called the shop and asked to speak to a shop manager. a guy got on the phone i told him what was going on and he told me to hold on, and another man came on the phone an claimed he was the shop manager.The guy said he was familiar with my daughters car and said he was the one that worked on it. I explained again what happened and asked what they can do for me as far as reimbursement because it was still under warranty. He said he could refund the $41 part I asked for labor too but he was not willing to do that. He informed me that for the warranty to be in effect i would have had to bring the car back there, however, at Subaru they had to take off the thermostat as part of the diagnostic and test a new one so the car was already apart. I asked for his bosses name and number which he refused to disclose. I advised I would take them to court of we couldnt resolve this issue. He told me he would take my name and number and his boss would get back to me. Guess what....4 weeks later never happened.Worst part is, we now have a bigger mechanical issue. When i told him how easy the fix was and it even cost less than what they charged to fix it even though he said the car wasnt worth fixing, he exclaimed that it was because i had replaced everything he had previously noted. I do NOT recommend this place and I will be taking them to small claims court.

I use to love going to this shop it was walking distance from my house. I could drop off my car for service walk home and come back when it was done but I will NEVER go back again. I dropped my car off at 9:30 to get an oil change. I was told come back in 2 hours. I go back 2.5 hours later see my car still parked where I left it. I wait in line to talk to the guy at the desk and am told your car is not quite ready yet. Correct....it is still parked in the front of the lot. I was told I was next,30 min later my car moves into the shop. Then I get called back. My car only has 25000 miles on it and was told I needed and alignment and that my coolant had gone bad. I find that hard to believe. I had already been waiting 3 hours for my car at this point but was told the service would only take 30min. An hour later I get my car back. At 2pm I ended up leaving the shop.I went in for an oil change and 4 hours and $400 later I get my car back.......oh and then was told to come back in 100 miles to make sure everything was still ok......Huh? to make sure everything is ok? what did you do to my car that could possibly not be ok in 100miles?!?!Run dont walk away from this place

The stuff are unprofessional, they maybe good for McDonalds or 7-Eleven but not for a mechanic shop would never recommend it to anyone to go to this place, the labor is extremely expensive and cant even fix the car.

Failed State inspection on my 2017 car, all it needed was a turn signal bulb replaced according to the dealership. Instead suggested the entire headlight assembly needed to be replaced. Line for inspections was empty I thought it was weird... Go somewhere else.
