Cannot even tell you how AMAZING the owner Brittany is! I was really struggling finding a wedding dress that I loved, because I had one in my mind that was WAY outside of my budget but that I was so in love with. Brittany worked with me over the past 10 months to hand-make my dream dress well within my budget. I got to pick all of the materials and have it custom designed for cheaper than I found anything decent in the stores. Brittany took my vision and brought it to life! I seriously LOVED my dress so much and got so many compliments. Brittany even customized my friends veil to match my wedding dress. She is so personable and fun to work with and made the process easy and stress free. I could not recommend her services enough! Pictures dont even do it justice.

Brittany is amazing! My wife and I went to her about 18 months ago to have our wedding dresses altered. When our wedding was postponed due to covid, she held on to them and kept them safe. When I decided I no longer liked my original dress, she got my new one ready to go with very short notice. Brittany will make you feel like family the second you walk through the door. She cares every step of the way and is a great human.

Brittany is amazing! Both girls there are actually! My experience started last November when I went to try on dresses for the first time and although I didn’t find my one there, when I did I brought it straight back for alterations by Brittany! She was so flexible with my schedule and went out of her way! We took the train from my dress and lace appliqués to make a dress for my daughter/flower girl! Everything turned out beautifully and fit perfectly!

Brittany was excellent! After I tried on 6ish dresses she caught wind of my style and pulled the most beautiful essence of Australia for me that I bought! They sell sample gowns so you get a great deal on designer dresses! Alterations (for my dress, moms dress, grandmas dress, and a bridesmaid) were perfect, quick, and budget friendly! My dress was perfect for my November 2020 Ceremony and I’ll definitely be back for touch ups for my 2021 reception.

Brittany was amazing! This was my third visit to a bridal shop and by far the best experience. She let me browse and choose what dresses I think I would like, which I appreciated. The best part however, was trying on the dresses. Brittany has an eye for alterations and because the dresses are so affordable we were able to come up with a plan that makes the dress uniquely my own. I cant wait to continue working with her!

Brittany is awesome! She is a really gifted artist and seamstress. She helped us out of a bind a week before the wedding when my daughters wedding dress still did not fit quite right (see first pic). She knew just what to do, and Kates dress turned out just beautiful!

STOP LOOKING, BRITTANY IS A DREAM SEAMSTRESS, YOU WONT REGRET BOOKING HER! Fair warning, this review may be long because I cant sum up my experience in just a few sentences. Firstly, I did not go to Brittany because she was close or convenient. I am from Annapolis and traveled an hour and a half (sometimes more, depending on traffic) to have Brittany make my wedding dress. I met with her and told her my vision and she immediately accepted the challenge! I had bought a Jumpsuit and I wanted to make a removable skirt, as well as incorporate my mom’s wedding dress. Brittany was so flexible with appointments, choosing materials, and designs. We discussed designs and I showed her pictures similar to what I was envisioning. She created a sample skirt design with my measurements and I tried it on before picking out fabric to make the official skirt! Brittany works with a wholesale fabric company, which is where I picked out the fabric for the skirt. Once the fabric arrived, she got to work! Oh I forgot to mention, she also had a BABY in the middle of this whole process, YES I SAID BABY. Not only is she a badass, incredible seamstress, she also made motherhood look easy. She took my mom’s dress and incorporated it in the underneath fabric of the skirt to make it fuller. Then she took off the buttons of my mom’s dress and incorporated in the skirt. All pictures are below! I can’t tell you how many compliments I received on this piece. It was beautiful, elegant and very personal (I’m biased of course). If you have a vison of your dream dress without wanting to spend a fortune, Brittany will bring your vision into fruition.She also did alterations to my jumpsuit!

Brittany did such a fabulous job altering my wedding dress, as well as my rehearsal dinner dress. For the wedding dress, she took in the sides, added cups, added a bustle, and hemmed it! She was so fast with her alterations, and it fit me like a dream!! Additionally, Brittany made really glam facemasks for the wedding party! I sent her pictures of the bridesmaids dresses, and mother of the bride/groom dresses, and she found fun fabrics that matched! The bridesmaids had gorgeous gold-jewel tone sequin masks and the MOB had a lovely royal blue glitter mask! Brittany was so sweet, she even threw in a few extra sequin masks! I would highly recommend Brittany as a seamstress to anyone. She does high-quality work quickly, at a very reasonable price! In my opinion, Brittany is definitely worth the drive from Arlington!

Brittany is amazing. I was really struggling with finding a dress (I am indecisive and too stubborn to spend silly amounts of money on a dress) but after a few sessions I bought my dress from SOSN! She was really in tune to what looked good and how my attitude would change in certain dresses which really helped when choosing the one. Shes so open and able to modify and customize dresses to your preferences. What was a dreaded task for me became so enjoyable because of her and I cant wait for my fittings.SOSN is a great boutique to visit for affordable and beautiful dresses. The dresses are typically from sample sales and not pre-worn if that is a concern for anyone. It was hard to choose a dress because everything was so beautiful.

They didn’t introduce themselves. They were eating potato chips and putting dirty fingers all over the dresses. They kept taking masks off with my 80 yr old grandma with me and simply talked to each other the whole appointment joking about irrelevant things. Terrible experience would not recommend.

I loved working with Brittany. She is straight forward and knowledgeable. She has mastered.the art as a seamstress and couples it with a warm and engaging personality. We are lucky to have her talents in Warrenton.

Brittany is AMAZING! I bought my wedding dress from Something Old Something New and had Brittany do the custom alterations. She removed the train and made beautiful lace sleeves for my dress. I got so many compliments at the wedding on the dress and people couldn’t believe that the sleeves weren’t originally part of the dress. I’ve since taken a bridesmaid dress to her to alter because her work is top-notch.

I made the mistake of trying to buy a dress online for a very important occasion, and when it arrived it was obvious I would have to have it altered. Luckily, Brittany was able to come to my rescue! She did a wonderful job and the dress is now perfect for my Carnegie Hall debut! The work she did was exactly what was needed and the price was more than reasonable. I would highly recommend Brittany for all your formal wear needs!

Amazing experiences with this place! I had my wedding dress altered here, as well as a bridesmaid dress and another dress recently. Service is speedy and the quickness does not take anything away from the quality and integrity of the work done. Brittany is incredible easy to work with as well as friendly, helpful, and highly qualified. Prices are also incredibly reasonable! This review is two years too too late and way overdue! I had an amazing experience at SOSN! I bought my dress in to SOSN and was able to get affordable alterations as well as extra embellishments! I had small sleeves added, a rhinestone belt, buttons up the back, and extra bussling! They have a cute selection of not only dresses but embellishments you can choose from. I absolutely loved my dress with these alternations and additions done. I cannot wait to bring my sister here now that she’s engaged!

This was my very first experience trying on bridal gowns. Brittany made it so relaxing and accommodated my mom, sister and toddler nephew. We were running behind for our appointment and she was so flexible! She gave me options on how to make the dress fit properly from a seamstress perspective and where to look for other dress ideas. Would highly recommend!

Brittany is awesome! She is reasonably priced, very detailed and personable. I highly recommend her services. She made took out the time to walk me through the process and even gave me some great advice for my wedding. I was worried about weight lost and the dress not fitting for the wedding. She ensured me everything would work out and that she would make last minute adjustments for the during my last fitting if necessary. Everything was customize and she even took the time to record a video to show my bridesmaids to bustle my dress. There are not enough words to share on her professionalism and kindness. I wasn’t quite satisfied with the job another seamstress did on my wedding dress, so I brought it to Brittany for a second opinion. She knew exactly what needed to be fixed and was able to explain it and do it in a short amount of time. She’s awesome, and I highly recommend her!! So happy with my dress!!

Wow. Amazing. I purchased my dress, hand made vail and belt here in Aug of 2018. For under $400.00. Retail value was $1,800.00.Dress fit so well that it needed no alterations even in the length.Thank you, thank you.

Brittany was great to work with start to finish. She listened to what I wanted and delivered! I took my mothers wedding dress in and she redid it to how I wanted it. I’m so glad I picked them for my wedding. I loved this wedding dress so much but it was a little too big for me, and there were a few things that didn’t exactly look right. But they altered it and made it just perfect for me.

This place has been one of the top 3 experiences of my planning my wedding. The lovely women who own this store make you feel so welcome, and are so sincere throughout the whole dress experiance.
