Very bad customer service I wish I could give them 0 star
I had a good experience at this walmart vision center that i would like to share. I had sat on my own eyeglasses and bent them up some, the guy in the vision center said he could repair them for me and he did at no cost, i didnt have to pay to get it fixed or get a new pair! Now my glasses fit like new onmy face like before, thanks!! Five stars!
TL;DR The man who works in this locations Vision Center severely lacks in customer service skills. I recommend taking your business to the Walmart Vision Center on Liberia Avenue (superior service). On two separate occasions the employee at this location has been less than helpful. My boyfriend purchased glasses with a warranty at another Walmart location, and was told his warranty was effective at all Walmarts. After a move into the area, we came to this location to have the frames fixed. The man refused to help us, citing vague privacy issues with the technology between Walmarts. Furthermore, he was dismissive and unfriendly. We called the store the glasses were purchased from and fortunately a member of their team confirmed our understanding of the warranty and helped resolve the issue. On our most recent visit, the man was again dismissive, and borderline rude. He also insisted (*insisted*) that he didnt carry my boyfriends type of frames...my boyfriend found them on the shelf in less than a minutes time.We ended up going to the Walmart on Liberia Avenue. The staff there was friendly and helpful. We would recommend giving that locations Vision Center a try.
I needed 2 pairs of prescription glasses and said the sunglasses were the more important of the two. They decided to order the prescription lens only for the less important pair and tried to go e me the sunglasses with ordinary, WORTHLESS lenses. I rejected it and instructed the sales rep to cancel the whole order. My credit card shows the charge but no refund. I wish I could give this place negative stars.
Wish I could give this place ZERO stars. Went to Walmart to pick up a few items. Decided to stop at the optical to look at glasses for my 10 year old, as we have a federal vision plan and eligible for glasses. As well as looking at buying an additional one or two pair for backups. The man working never greeted us or even said a word to us period. We were the only ones there. We were looking at some frames when the man came out of the lab and sat down at the desk we were by, almost like he was intentionally blocking us from looking. Still never saying a word or even making eye contact with us. I thought maybe they were closed or closing up (still rude and unprofessional to not even acknowledge a customer), but it was still 45 mins to close. My husband asked me if I wanted to order the glasses and I declined. Ill gladly take my business somewhere else where they know how to treat customers. Im a board certified optician and always get my children the best of the best of eyewear (materials and add ons ect). This was an easy sale for them that they lost. Completely unprofessional and flat out rude.
