March 24, 2021 (today) the new ad started. I knew I had to get there early to get a few of the deals because they go so fast. Well there was one item in particular that I wanted but it looked like they were all out.How can this be? Today is the 1st day. So I asked one of the associates if they could assist me to make sure I was looking at the right thing.Brandon from the Maryland store who came to the VA location to help out, went above and beyond. Great customer service. Long story short, I was able to get what I wanted and it was a great deal!Thanks!

Nice and clean in both the isles and the bathrooms. Although they dont have a large selection of items the quality and price of the items they do have more than make up for it. The staff are outgoing witty and very helpful.

I bought a closed bag of oranges and several were in bad condition. I suppose I could have inspected better but if they are selling something that’s bagged already you’d expect that the fruits would not be rotten. Other than this experience, it’s not a bad grocery store.

A very nice place to get your groceries. Weve found some nice imported beers.

Good prices. Make sure to check your produce to make sure it is rotten, sometimes the fresh produce wont be all that fresh. Good place to get individually packed grass-fed beef. Lidl offers some unique and random products, like a Lidl electron toothbrush for kids. Who knew? Can find good buys at cheap prices if you just walk around.

If I had to describe Lidl, it would be as a slightly more upscale version of Aldi. I liked the look and the selection was a bit better than some of the other discount grocery locations.

I do not agree with the fact that employees here have asked for medical records of a customer that did not wear a mask. Contact information too? DO BETTER Lidl Management.Although the woman who claimed she shopped here last week should have know better than to enter any establishment without a mask. Many grocery stores offer curbside these days.Lidl, learn how to offer quality customer service as your employees here at this location are not so friendly.If our law enforcement can wear masks, so can you.

Nice place. Theres hardly name brand products but the items are comparable. They have great produce and I love the bakery section. All in all Lidl is definitely on my list of places to buy groceries now. Ive saved a lot since it opened in Manassas. Remember your shopping bags!

This place could use a little course in manners. Everyome is always acting so uptight and you feel like a nuisance trying to ask for help. Go find another job if you dislike your so much. Its that simple. But the food and selection is decent, when its In stock and everythings not sold put which happens alot . A lot of empty shelves. Live next door to it so frequent it often multiple times a week.

The prices are great. The selection is small. But I gave this store a two because the employees are just rude. Dont get in the way of people doing the stocking as they will run into you and look at you like its your fault. I have been to this store four times and three of the four times the employees have been rude. So if price is important then this is the place, but dont expect to be treated well.

First time there and I was like so excited. The place was very clean but none of the customer service people said hello or greeted us several of them actually did not look like they wanted to be there cuz they were not smiling. Very well priced but they did not alert us to how to save from the app or a loyalty card nor the did they tell us about the bag situation.

First things first - hazelnut chocolate croissant backed right here is AWESOME! The store itself is pretty good, all equipment is new. But the choice is a bit limited. Overall solid 4 and a half stars!

Didnt have chives or Cavatappi pasta I needed for a specific recipe. But otherwise, I love this store ! Its just like Aldis back home ( Massachusetts).The employees were helpful & friendly. Selection was otherwise great as were prices, etc. Am just down for a visit. But would shop here regularly if I ever move to the area .

Pretty Good Prices on most things!

This is one of my favorite groceries stores, quality products, very affordable prices. Almost every time I go, I buy beautiful roses here and it is so inexpensive comparing with others. You have to pack your own groceries, but at the end its worthy.

Finally made it!! Wide aisles, lots of selections, and space around the store. Great price for what I paid!!

First time I visited the store. Is very clean and efficient. From what i can see is good variety lf meat, fruit, chocolate, beer and vine.

I am a regular shopper at Lidl and I normally love going into the store. Today(4/5/2021), however was the worst experience I have ever had. I do not wear a mask going into any store and I have never felt so harassed. I walked into the store, an employee made a B-line for me and immediately, very rudely, told me I needed to wear a mask. I had politely said that I am unable to wear one and thanked him for the concern. He then spat back at me and demanded I gave him my medical record stating so. I had told him he cannot ask me for such information and he had walked off. I had continued my shopping with my 3 year old daughter. 5 minutes later, the store manager approached me and had told me I needed to wear a mask. I had informed him that one of his employees asked for my medical records and the store manager had completely ignored that. He had then told me he would call the police, I told him he is more than welcome to! He had then walked off, came back with a piece of paper and said he needed MY personal information! I am very unhappy with this. My medical records are private information and being harassed stating that I need to give information about myself and my medical history is completely unacceptable!30 minutes later a relative of mine walked in, wasn’t wearing a mask and the same people looked at him and said “you have a good day sir!!!”This is the Lidl at:11782 Sudley Manor Dr, Manassas, VA 20109

If you have not been here, I recommend to anyone and everyone! Fruits and veggies are so fresh. The red meat and chicken selection is really good! Would not recommend the meat or chicken that’s 30% have had no luck with it being good. They have a wide variety of different products every week, and Lidl actually shows you the next weeks sales. Very inexpensive and their store brand products couldn’t be any better!

Lidl also has kid size shopping carts perfect for a 3 year old trying to take out your achilles. The employees can be a bit rude but the quality of food is pretty great. Just be aware that some items might be in the wrong place with the wrong price. Dont expect to get a warm response from management about questions or concerns...always feels like they dont want to be bothered when its their job

This location is busier than my other regular store. Hustle and bustle was in high gear for staff. Products are identical of course but seemingly fewer German inspired lines Im accustomed to seeing. Check out was smooth and easy. Parking lot was an avoidance course. Still great place for quick shopping.

Today was my first day at LIDL store. It was a nice European experience overall. They had great quality produce, and the bakery was the first thing I smelled when I entered. The store was very organized and clean too. Make sure you bring your own bags to carry out your groceries. Will be going back soon for more fresh bakery goodies.

Like Aldi but better and more organized

To be honest, I got disappointed after my today's visit to Lidl. March 15 through March 21 they offer smoked Norwegian Atlantic salmon with a 50% off, that is for $2.99. But when I asked a cashier about it, she told me that one customer had bought all this salmon. Really? Am I supposed to believe in it? What about other customers? Didn't you have enough of this salmon for a week or so? When some other stores have similar deals, they sell them at limited quantities trying to satisfy as many customers as possible. But when I come in a few hours after the store opens and the product is already gone, it does not make me happy at all. They did not even print out the new price for the salmon. It was written on a package. It is not the first time the product is gone so fast. I had the same experience a couple times with beer there. Hope they will change something to satisfy their customers.

Great value, not the easiest place to navigate because of the restocking that is pretty much ongoing. But the fresh produce and bakery make it all worthwhile. I have had an issue with a product and was given no hassle at all.

I love shopping at Lidl. They have such great prices and the staff is always so pleasant. They carry a variety of European meats, cheeses, as pastries as well as your every day grocery needs. You can save a lot of money by being willing to bag your own groceries. You will need to bring your own bags, or you can buy them at the store for about $.07 each.

I have used Lidl grocery ever since they opened our location. Its so convenience for us. The price is even so amazing to get anything from Lidl. We love it ever...

Love, love this grocery store and wish we had one in DC proper so badly. We try to coincide Lidl runs with when were coming back into town on I-66. Massive selection, including beer and wine since its Virginia and not Maryland. Great deals across the board, and some nice surprises in the produce section frequently. Cant wait for covid to be over so the bakery can go back to normal. Love it!

Not as nice as the LIDL in Ashburn

I cannot in good conscience give this place a good review. It has been over a year since I shopped at this store because it is not near me, but I did come from time to time if in the area. As soon as I walked in today, I immediately noticed a stench. It was most prominent near the baked goods section, and I did notice that the bathrooms were nearby. That said, as I walked the entirety of the store, the smell was always there to some degree, and I had a mask on the whole time! The smell at times was appalling. As I perused, I wondered what this smell meant for the way the food was handled, and ended up only making a frozen item purchase. While much of the selection looked good, I can’t help but question the integrity of the produce or similar items. Unless the smell issue is clearly explained and resolved, I will never return to this store again.

I like this store very much, this is the only place I can get cow fed grass meat. And a lot of organic products. Also in the middle of the isle they always display random every day item that are cheap durable and very affordable.and the pastry is nice and hot early.in the morning and around the afternoon

Okay, so I came here and my expectations were higher than burj khalifa. I browsed and browsed, and was surprised by the price of edible products, I was all excited and all, and bought so many things, almost filled my cart with groceries. I came to the check out line and started getting checked out, as I wait for someone to bag my items, the cashier says we dont provide bags, but we do sell them for 10 cents Im like WUT?! My hopes went from Burj Khalifah to 2 story building low. I was like okay, and purchased 4 big plastic bags. I spent 40 cents extra!!! NOOOO! and just for that -4 stars.Other than that big doomsday situation, errything else was fine.

I love this store. Lots of options and they cut my grocery bill into a THIRD. And one of my highest praises for any store.. theyre clean!And for Covid precautions: 6ft stickers and signs for masks. Store is well kept and stocked. Still my favorite place to shop.

Found some great baking supplies in pretty color great price. Silicone flower mini bundt molds are perfect feeling like cake boss

My husband enjoyed goings there. Very good and clean grocery store. But people should know the closing time is 8 oclock . I saw people still coming and returning.so many places opening and closing time is changed is better to check before going.

Cashiers here are the best! Prices are great. Staff at the entrance to help decontaminate carts. The only minus is the sales items are frequently out of stock.

A tad more upscale version of Aldis grocer with 40% more items and about the same value along with more name brand items (which are not discounted). A bit crowded at most times of the day or evening for my comfort and taste.

Best store in town

This is not a one-stop supermarket by any means, but I take the time to stop in and see whats new a couple times a week. My favorite things to buy here are wines, beers, and imported cheeses Ive never heard of, at great discounts.

Lidl is a game changer. Low prices for high quality products. They do not have everything like the Wegmans and Harris teeters of the world but you cannot beat the value. I go here at least twice a month.

Note sure why everyone raves about this grocery store. It seems average to me, hence the three star rating. Definately smaller than most, but good circulation space and a decent selection for the size. There store seems a little under-dressed - Perhaps Im in an area with really good grocery stores.

Favorite place for grocery shopping, great everyday values, but even better for the sales especially with rewards you earn in the app! Also love coming into the smell of the bakery and all the fresh produce in front of you, loved Lidl when lived in Europe so glad theyve come to the U.S. and especially whenever they have specials that give little treats from the old world

Nice store. I like to go here because its the closest store to my home and the chicken doesnt make me sick like their competitors. Its a great store I just believe it needs more staff to keep the place more organized. Only thing Id suggest from a store managers view is to make sure all price tags are up and in the correct spaces. I had a hard time locating apples from the sign but not the other way around. I also wanted to get some sugar free gum and could not also locate the price.

This is a great grocery store! The prices are fantastic, feeding a family for half the price of other grocery stores. It is well placed, so it helps keep the prices down. The meat prices are one shining example of why I shop there. The only thing I would suggest is to open more lanes and have more employees or managers on the floor for assistance. Other than that, I would recommend this store to everyone.

Great experience. Helpful staff. Interesting stocked items at reasonable prices. I bought a very cheap $59) house brand espresso machine there. The machine makes amazingly good espresso. I use this machine everyday while my $400 Italian made machine gathers dust. What a surprise!

About like all of the rest in the Chain. Nothing stood out. Lidl always has good deals. Check them out if you havent already.

I drove to this location to compare this with store in Europe and was impressed by size, product offer cleanliness.I would rank it 5 and post more photos but a store lady came to me and told me no more pics. It looks to me Lidl does need positive advertising.Definitely worth shopping visit if in vicinity
