Wow! This has to be the friendliest place in Virginia! Everyone was happy, engaging, kind and helpful even though the store didn’t have what i needed, it was such a pleasure to be in that space for the short time i was there! Thank you Ace Hardware of Woodbine!

Great Ace location! Then again, most are. My Dad shopped at Ace n preferred going there as opposed to Homedepot or Lowes for as long as I can remember. Always friendly, helpful staff. Just a pleasant experience every visit.

I like this ACE store. People are friendly. I could go to a Big Box Store but I would rather help a local business. It is convenient and close to my home. I pay a little more but I’m also not paying for the gas to drive down to Home Depot or Lowe’s.

Hey everyone....if a big box store isnt your thing...then definitely hit up Ace hardware...this is the best secret out there...everything except the lumber...but better service, and selection...overall Ace delivered the goods...oh...did I mention the help...outstanding...👍👍

Great service. I wish I had remembered the mans name who helped me find items. I was making DIY christmas decorations and wasnt sure what to look for (see picture for results). Well organized store with all the basics needed. I normally go to Lowes but will be coming here more often now.

They have USPS that works beyond 5pm! The store needs further investment though.

Ive stopped several times for this or that plumbing fittings. They usually dont stock many, if they even have what you need.

Such a great place to shop for just about everything home related. Knowledgeable and pleasant staff are a refreshing change from the big box home stores!They also sell and repair Stihl power equipment in-house. Dropped off my poorly running leaf blower at lunchtime, they had diagnosed and repaired it before 3pm!

Awesome staff, theyre all so friendly and very helpful. Clean and organized store.

I use this place very often because its near to my business. But sometimes you could face with some rude people in here. One is at the cashier and 2 or 3 at the floor. If you cant tolerate others attitude I dont recommend and for the store credit they give you a paper receipt that can easily get lost.

They generally have what I need for small repairs and the staff are insightful/professional.

Thats my neighborhood store! I love it! You can mail a package, get bird food anything you need from a hardware store. And they always have speciality items.

I LOVE this place! Mrs. Kelly & Logan at the post office are FANTASTIC- I always receive speedy service & they are always super helpful!! The boys (and girls) around the store are also great. Someone is always willing to help 😊 This store is an excellent example of what a GREAT neighborhood store should be like!!

Convenient, but prices are high. Sometimes worth not having to travel for a small part when you are in the middle of a project.

Very well stocked hardware store conveniently located off major road. Was able to purchase a old work overhead electrical box and support for a reasonable price. Team member walked me to it.Very helpful.

A mostly nice environment, some employees need to wear masks and learn how to wear them correctly. The kind staff at the post office make up for some of the other employees though.

Extremely helpful and service-oriented staff!This store has a surprisingly abundant assortment of tools, materials, and supplies - and though the prices are frequently higher than the average big box store, the difference in price is oftentimes worth the extra time and gas it would take to get to a big box (Home Depot, Lowes, etc.) store. Plus, at a big box store, the staff are getting harder to flag down... and may not be as knowledgeable.Just the right place to look when you need a part quickly, or might need some help getting the right part!

I freaking love this store. I should not be allowed in here without adult supervision. Unless youre buying sheetrock or something huge like that - you dont need the big boxes. These guys have absolutely everything and its easy to find. Theyre telepathic too. If you stop and ponder for more than 5 seconds, then someone magically appears and says how can we help? I hate to mention this because its the greatest feature they have - the POST OFFICE. Holy cow I never go to an actual US Post Office anymore. Fast, friendly and rarely a line.

Part of the Store looked empty... However found what I needed, since HD dont sell the filter size I needed.

As always, what I needed with hometown friendly faces willing to assist! Competitive pricing on the things I bought which means I keep coming back instead of using on of those not to be named internet we have everything sites!

Friendly stuff, knowledgeable, helpful and visible. Unlike big stores where you have to search every aisle to find help,They love dogs too and we appreciate their treats.

Great place for when you dont want to drive to Lowes or Home Depot, but you will pay for that convenience. Nevertheless, they rarely dont have what I need regardless of what Im looking for. Very well stocked. Nice and courteous employees.

I love this hardware store. It’s truly an old school store that sells all the things you need to maintain a house. They also have lots of interesting odds and ends like bird feeders, kitchenware, yard ornaments, etc. The post office in the back is great too!

I love this store! The USPS store in the back is a great convenience. Javier is always cheerful, friendly, and very knowledgeable about his job. I cant go in to the store at all without someone greeting me and asking if I need help finding anything. Im not sure what happened with the previous poster, but Ive been shopping here for the better part of 20yrs, and Ive never had a bad experience.

Ok hardware store. Dont have the selection of the big chains, or the knowledgeable staff you expect from the smaller stores. If there was a close alternative I would probably avoid.

Great place with employees who care. Richard who helped me with a bunch of my Stihl products that I have bought there is always very helpful and willing to teach you everything you need to know.

Good for a quick trip for general hardware and housecare needs. Not much in the way of specialized or unusual hardware, and inventory can be an issue at this smaller location. Paint shop is very slow, and sometimes Ive had to wait over 20 minutes for a can- when I was the only customer! Otherwise happy with the store, and customer service from other departments is usually good. Cashiers are always friendly.

Love this little neighborhood hardware store. It reminds me of my grandpas store of yesteryear. Prices are a bit higher than the big stores, but the helpful friendly staff make up for it.

Its not a big store but they have your basic needs. 4 stars for the amount of employees willing to help you! You dont ever struggle looking for a person to help find things for you unlike home depot or lowes. Plenty of parking spots.

Employees are always nice and courteous. You can’t browse the store for long before someone asks to be of service. Prices are fairly high for tools and equipment. I usually shop online before I go here.

2nd postIn response to your response your employees are not wearing mask while helping customers inside. You claim they are wearing mask well they are not. They are not loading etc as you are suggesting. I know all about curbside pick up and thats not the solution. The point I was making in my prior post is employees are NOT WEARING mask when in the store walking around. Please dont try and make this what it isnt. If your customers care about bringing business to your store you should care about your customers. Mask save lives!1st postWhy are the employees not wearing mask? Not only do they not wear mask they are not respecting social distancing. Laughing and carrying on while spit is traveling thru the air making it an unsafe environment. I have been going to this store for years thinking they cared about customers but that isnt at all the case. I will be sure that my family and friends will not use this store again. SO DISAPPOINTED!

Its convenient. They rarely have what I need and when they do it is expensive. Only shop there if I need something right away.

I love this store and its knowledgeable staff. Whatever hardware you might need, they have it. I even purchased a beautiful tomato plant that Im now eating tasty tomatoes.

Great place to pick up hardware and other home and garden needs. Surprisingly broad selection for a small location, with the added bonus of a USPS outlet in the back. Prices are slightly higher than Lowes or Home Depot, but worth it for the friendly, knowledgeable staff and convenience. Extremely convenient location for an underserved area with thousands of homes tucked back in the woods and no alternatives within 7-8 miles.

So I go there to buy the Toro Electric snowblower. I find a young kid ask him if they have any in the box. 10 minutes later I dont see the kid so I walk to the back and ask another guy if he knows what happened to the kid checking stock on a snowblower. A lady chimes in a says they dont have any in the box. So I leave, assuming the one sitting on the floor up front isnt for sale, as nobody offered to sell it to me.

Save yourself some trouble and just go to the real post office. I paid extra for overnight delivery and two days later package still not delivered. Went to get refund and Ace sent me to the real post office.

Standard small town hardware from Ace. Some niche supplies, some normal supplies, prices a tad higher. Good stop for fun, looking, or need something in a bind.

They have a little of everything and they are always so helpful.
