I love Harbor Freight as does my family. I sent my daughter to the Manassas store to purchase a bday gift for our son-in-law. We knew what he wanted, but we didnt know which one to pick. The staff and manager helped choose the right one for him...the perfect right gift...one that he will love and use. They went above and beyond to help. Thank you, Manager and staff. We are grateful for all your help. My husband and son-in-law shop there all the time, but its ironic that my daughter is the one that wound up shopping for her husband.

Luckily I really dont need a lot of tools but if I did, this would be my go too store. Its almost like being a kid in a candy store when I go here. If I need a tool of some kind in the future this is my first choice of stores. I have bought a battery charger and a battery tester and Im very satisfied with the products from this store. I highly recommend this store.

Great experience! Dave and everyone else was very helpful and they made my purchase experience a great one.Their product knowledge was on point and very helpful.I explained to them that I just started a roadside and towing company and that I needed a good jack for by business.There were a few floor service jacks on sale but the two gentlemen explained the key differences between the two best choices and made it easy me to make my choice.I need a few other things for my company so I will definitely be back. I live in DC but I will make the 1 hour drive for the kind of experience I had this morning.

The Manassas location is one of the nicest I seen...large and roomy...with more items and no chance of not having or being out of stock...the service staff is very pleasant and helpful...The experience was very good...i walked in only needing nails for a nail gun....walked out with a new finish nailer and a host of other items...The nailer is the Pierce finish nailer and works like a Champ...

Went to this location because the website said they had an engine hoist in stock. Went to the back, sure enough one was sitting right there. Went up to purchase it, and was told they didnt have any in stock. I told the man I was staring at one a second ago. He told me that was the display. So I asked to purchase the display (which was a perfectly good piece of equipment). He told me he couldnt sell the display and when I asked why, he said because then customers wont be able to see what theyre buying. WHAT? Youre OUT OF STOCK ANYWAY!!! Sell me that one and when the next batch arrives, put one out for your display. It does no good being on display when theres nothing else in inventory for it to be a display FOR. Never going to HF again.

Very good prices, its a much smaller shop than Lowes or Homedepot but they have good collection of tools with surprisingly cheap price .. i bout a circular power tool in 24.99 similar items elsewhere was minimum 70$ .. a adjustable spanner for $5, a plier for $3.99... unfortunately i do not have that many need of tools but I would suggest visit and see yourself, we need more of these stores which are actually getting pushed out in the chain-retailer and e-commerce war .

Hope everyone uses their portable generators carefully especially everyone should keep their children safe when using portable gas generators so children won’t get electrocuted. I’m just reminding everyone to be careful with generators. Stay safe everyone

Relatively small place but tidy and nicely stocked! Prices way better than larger hardware chains but ofcourse quality not always as good. I appreciated the manager being upfront observing traffic flow and helping customers at the same time.

If you are going to use it a few times, buy it here and save tons of money. If you will use it everyday... maybe consider buying a more name brand, but for your money, Harbor Freight cant be beat.

Not all Harbor Freight stores are created equal. This one in Manassas is way better than the one in Woodbridge. Better stocking, better customer service.

Great place for tools.

Went to buy buffer & accessories. 2 employees in store, no one to help. Left without buying anything. I guess HD or Lowes, Amazon if no one has it. Will I be back? It wont be my 1st, 2nd, or 3rd choice.

Shop there with a coupon to save more, and they make it easy to get them. Ive always found their staff to be helpful. Their warrantys are improving, as are some grades of the products they sell.

I love how clean and organized this store is. I had a negative connotation about this place until I was able to put my hands on some of the tools. There are still many brands that I am loyal to for many reasons, but this place will now be a place I check out for tools.

The prices here are very good compared to their competitors. Wish they had more brand named power tools etc but all in all they have arguably the best prices around and quality is pretty good.

There is a complete lack of communication from the staff that they dont even know where their products are or even if the have them in stock. Go into this store expecting to find anything and everything on your own. Doesnt help that the store is also understaffed and can barely restock the shelves.

A great place to get reasonably priced tools. They have a very wide variety of tools. They also have pumps, air compressors, benches and outdoor equipment. The web site has a full list. Keeping up with the coupons and the sales is useful. There is always a 20+ percent off coupon.

Ill amend this review upon a return trip. That being said, they looked ransacked when I was there. The stock was almost non-existent. Im willing to chalk it up to the pandemic. Another visit is definitely warranted.

Always enjoy a visit to harbor freight. If I had known about this place years ago, I could have saved a lot of money. Instead I blindly bought Craftsman tools that dont get the amount of use that they should. Nonetheless these prices are quite competitive and service is exceptional.

Had everything you need to buy just as you would from Lowe’s or Home Depot but much cheaper. Best part is, you can see it and hold it in your hand before buying it unlike buying tools online.

Everyone here is super friendly and helpful, especially the store manager. Unlike other Harbor Freight stores, the manager is always out helping customers find items, giving advise and even running cash registers during busy times. Almost all my tools are Harbor Freight from ratchets to generators. I am a shade tree mechanic and I have a large property/farm. Love this store!

I love this place because you can get mostly everything the other two big chains carry for the fraction of the cost. Michael, the general manager is awesome, great personality, polite, funny and very helpful. Hes one of the best managers Ive ever interacted with. I had a return w/o the receipt and I told him i just wanted store credit, but I also wanted to purchase something else and I asked where a certain item could be found and he pointed me in the right direction. I brought it up and the packaging was damaged I asked if he had another one and he said he could discount it. He gave me a great price. I will definitely be back to shop there.

I never realized that they have more than just tools. Theyre more like the old time hardware stores in that you can buy tools, ladders, fans, automative and housewares. Its a small, but very well organized store. Its a handymans dream store. The employees were all very helpful as well.

This is one of the best hardware stores that I have ever been. They sell a wide variety of tools, electronics, and appliances. Anything you would need would be at this store. Even better, they are always giving out coupons and having sale events. This is a must visit place for anyone looking for hardware equipment or gadgets that they cannot find anywhere. China Freight. Some things can be a good buy for the money and other things can be a real piece of junk . Have got some good things there for the price and the money. Knowing about materials like metals and how things are made can save you a lot of grief. Like power tools a 8 amp tool will burn up way faster then a 12 amp tool and the 12 amp is usually made a little better. Think about what youre buying and how its made . Their 90 day warranty on some things can tell you something. Good luck and use those coupons.

Complete junk for the most part. I went in here thinking I was just going to rack up my card and spend 5k. I walked up and down every isle 2 times I only spent 400.00 because almost everything was cheaply made and junk. There were a couple things that were decent. I will never go back again.

I waited in line to get checked out but he/manager told me Rudely to go to other check out line because he is going to his lunch break, I was only one in line, no one behind me, cant he do one more check out for 1-2 minutes...This is not a first time, he is always in bad mood, Bad service!

You get what you pay for here. But if you need a tool for one job, this is a great place to stop. Disposable items like rubber gloves are good here too.

I love Harbor Freight. Great tools for the $. I cant go in here without finding something I cant live without. The manager and staff are very helpful and honest. Its not Snap-On, but it also not nearly the cost and certainly good enough for the avid DIY homeowner.

Anyone who knows Harbor Freight knows that they will get decent tools for an exceptional price. However the wonderful surprise is the incredible selection and the variety of specialty tools. Another surprise is the wonderful service. Well, dont expect any help back in the tool area but the folks at the cashiers are amazing, keeping people moving quickly through the registers even with all of the coupon craziness. Parking and access for this location is quite good.

This store is great for cheap tools. If I need a tool for a job that I dont have, I always go here first. Not the highest quality, but definitely the best price. Not following ADA laws. Its either wear a mask or no service. I have a medical condition where I cant have one on. But they didnt care. So I wont be shopping there or any store of theirs ever again

I love harbor freight. It is the best place to get basic hand tools. While I think their drill bits and saw blades suck, the electric tools themselves are pretty good and certainly the best value for money you can get.

Great place to shop for tools & related items at a better price than home improvement stores, be aware that there could be a small sacrifice in quality and longevity.
