This place came recommended so I called the service department for warranty work. Very rare to find a place that cares about customer service and experience, but this is one of them. My appreciation goes out to Steve for running a stand up operation.
I would give them a zero if I could I put 1500 down for a side by side I understand it was on backorder the whole pandemic and all I ordered it in March said I was gonna have it at the end of May then when I called them to see if it was ready Ive been getting a run around I ordered a 2021 now Im still waiting for a 2022 because they are no longer making a 2021 does this make any since
Brit helped my son along with his new RMK 800 purchase today. We had a great time with all aspects of the sale. Nice low pressure experience. Brit even directed us to the other brands dealerships when we wanted a little time to consider the purchase and look at other options. We came back after checking other brands and decided polaris was the way to go. AMS un-crated our sled over lunch (crazy fast - thanks), let us inspect it, had the paperwork for the sale done very efficiently. Price was fair, no surprises.Chris handled the transaction in the back very professionally. Answered our questions and sent us out the door feeling great about the purchase. Shane is the best. My wife and I have dealt with motorsports shops and service centers for about 7 years. This place is first rate. Living in a multitude of states across america, dealing with repairs and parts procurement can be a hassle. I called Shane after calling several shops in North Dakota, he is now the only guy I will deal with. First class in customer service. My bike was done quickly, and got first class treatment. Only reason Im giving 4 stars is the fact that Action Motor Sports didnt stock the gear I wanted. I feel that is an important thing for a retail store in todays world. But, that is only for riding gear. Not to reflect on their parts or service. Again, first rate. Thank you Shane.
We would like to thank Shane Madison, the service manager for such good service. We were traveling from Illinois to Bismarck and on our way to Moab for vacation. We started having problems with our Polaris General and two others dealers would not take the time to help us. We pulled into Action Motorsports in Mandan, SD and were pleasantly surprised by such quick and courteous service. We had a bent shaft and could not continue our ride with our Polaris until it was fixed. Action Motor Sports had it in stock and had it done the next day for us to travel to Moab, Utah to complete our vacation. What a first class operation! The parts advisor, Jason was also very kind and courteous with fixing us up with an extra set of used tires and rims for a very reasonable price. First I was told that my part would take 3 - 5 business days. Then I was told it was on back order until May 17th. A month a a half later. Now I am being not until June. I have had to call them for information not one call back. #wouldnotrecomend
I recently purchased a 2021 Sportsman 850 Ultimate Trail Edition from these guys. I drove all the way from Mitchell SD to mandan to pick this unit up. I couldnt be happier with the machine or the service I was given from AMS. I am thinking of keeping this in a yearly rotation and trading every year with these guys. I will be adding a General to the fleet soon and will get from AMS. Thank you to the Steves that helped me get this done.

Never had a worse experience before in my life. I waited 11 months for a full service and carb job on my bike, which wouldnt be a problem if I didnt have to bring it back twice already for problems from the service. One which included missing filling the coolant before it left. My bike overheated while I was taking a short trip and stalled. Got back home with it and checked the coolant reservoirs, nothing. Definitely has damage from the heat and is knocking bad. I called and they swear that theyll Make it right. I bring it back in and they basically tell me Im lying and they filled everything up. It was absolutely fruitless to argue with Shane and the mechanic, so I gave up. I guess all I can do is take the loss on the bike and not come back. Ive saved a bunch of co-workers from coming here already from telling them this story so thats all the compensation I can hope for at this point. If you value your machine, please dont come here.

Was a hardcore Polaris guy for years. That changed after I had to deal with the disrespectful owner. I have now changed brands and will never go back to Polaris as long as this guy has his hands involved with the brand. Also if you buy your machine for a different dealer have fun trying to get warranty work done quickly here. I would drive to Texas to buy anything before buying from here again.

Worst experience ever !! let’s start with customer service, their service manager Shane has zero Communication skills you call him and all you will get is a “I will call you back” and that call will never come you will wait weeks then call again and get the same thing . Now let’s talk service, action had my bike for over Two months too put on tires a steering dampener and address a fuel leak, and when I finally got my bike back not only was it missing key structural parts!!! And now the fuel gauge wouldn’t work from when they pulled out the pump to change the gasket. Then I called there general manager Steve and got the same exact thing I got from there service manager “ yea I will call you back” WORST Experience EVER!!!!
Summer 2021. Had an opportunity to work with Calby in the parts department. Fantastic service going the extra mile to get me what I needed in spite of the shortages. Service department comes through again with a quick and easy install of accessories on my ATV.Winter update. Have been in to service 3 times so far this winter for different sleds. Shane and the entire team continue to perform above and beyond expectations. Their snowmobile specialist is the best I have ever seen at a dealership in 30 years of riding. Rob always goes the extra mile to get you machines in and out of the shop with the utmost care. Its nice not to have to worry about who is working when...whoever is there is going to provide you with top level helpful service.These guys are simply the best.The service department was always good, but under Shane it has come up to another level. Even when he is out, his staff is friendly, efficient and knows what is going on. They never act like you are a bother, even though they are always very busy. They actually seem happy to see you when you walk in. They do what they say they are going to, keep their word on appointments and completion times and fix it right the first time so you dont have to keep coming back.They always manage to squeeze you in to get work done for your next outing and realize that the working man has very limited time to spend running back and forth dealing with service issues. The few hours one has to enjoy the toys are best spent on the trail and they truly seem to care about getting you back out the door to ride, whether it be on a sled or an ATV.The parts department is always friendly, calls when parts come in, and works hard to get you what you need quickly. Sure the parts cost more than other places, but they make it happen when you need them to.Update...back in for my annual ATV service. As usual, it was easy to schedule with Shane, his team was ready for me when I arrived and they had it done exactly when they promised it. I wont go anywhere else for service on my ATV and sleds. These guys care about solving issues and doing it right the first time.Thanks Team!
I damaged a Souci Prospector track on my Ranger 800. Shane and others in Actions service department got me up and running in no time. Great service!
They charged me $200 labor to change my tires on dr 650. Also had my bike for a week as I was out of town and assured it would be done when I got home. It wasnt. I called and was told the were now working on it and it would be done right away and that I would get a call back. I dove down about 90min later and after asking and explaining saw them put my bike on the stand with old tires on. Job was done in about 20 min and done well.

I got amazing service from the moment I walked in! Austin was a great salesman and not pushy whatsoever. I went in just checking things out and Austin was more then willing to answer all my questions and find me what I was looking for! Had a few issues with getting my paperwork after the sale in the mail but the manager took care of it and got me all of the information I needed! I would recommend going to AMS as your first stop and not wasting your time elsewhere!

I originally had a good experience when I came and I cant remember the sales consultant that I talked with but he told me to come in and test ride a bike as I was there for the ride and dine. I told him I would stop in when I could so I stopped in about a week later a little over an hour before close asked to test ride a bike and was told they were closing soon and to come back.I dont know who it was I talked to but he sure made me feel like he didnt want to earn my business so after that I didnt come back, even for the ride and dine events.

Had some work done a couple years ago got the run around for months no one knew what was going on with my atv then come to find out it was done just rotting outside for however long. Just had a 1000 mile service done very recently. They had no record of my machine ever being there. Said I would get my atv back in 4 days. It took 2 weeks. I had to call a couple times to find out what was going on. Never got a call back until it was done. When they finished I got call after call to pick it up. Anyway the bill was pretty confusing. Charged me for a new air filter but all they did was clean my old one with a airgun for 30 bucks. Didnt grease anything. Makes a guy wonder if they changed my differential oil or my oil filter or if they just pegged the charges on the bill.
The service is great people are friendly and reasonably priced and they stand behind their work
Kristin was really nice and did a great job of getting me all set up with a new Indian scout. Highly recommend going to her if you want to purchase a bike, she will take great care of you.

A couple of years ago I had them do some work on a Suzuki DR 650. They dont care much. Needless to say the bike was useless and dead when they got finished.I didnt call them cause they couldnt care less in the first case.I would rather work on motorcycles myself than a technician that dont care and dont know the difference anyways.In short, They SUCK!
