The lady that worked here was on her phone the whole time even while checking customers out. Locked the doors 20 minutes before closing even tho the business was steady. Definitely do not recommend and will not return

Manager has own personal issues that seriously should be addressed. Never have seen such disdainful attitude of person in management position. Feel so sad for her support staff.

The Mandan location was nice clean and very friendly staff. .. Recommend the Mandan location.(It was pretty messy and out of many items. The clerk was rude and seemed like he didnt want to be there. This review is for the Bismarck location) .

This store is awsome. Im in there multiple times a week, the best part is the employees are always very friendly. Sometimes its kinda backed up but the customer service definitely makes up for it.

Good place to get stuff cheap

If youre open until 10pm, then stay open until 10! Just walked there to pick up some dog food and a few other things. Employees were outside smoking. I asked to make sure they were open and she said no, we close early to make sure people get out in time. Thats a poor excuse in my opinion. Ive worked retail or restaurant industry my whole life. Ive never closed 30 mins early to make sure I could get out at a decent time. I dont drive & this just a 10 min walk from home so I try to shop here as much as I can..not anymore.

I called and asked to speak to the manager. Told her I had a few dollars in Pennys and she told me she would not take them. When I asked why she told me she didnt have the time to count them. Probably never going to return.

Just stopped by family dollar to pick up a few items but could not find a bathroom scale asked if they had one and the lady who was the manager was very rude when telling us no we don’t. I really think if your not enjoying your job you should look for another one

Love going in there

Been going here for about 5 years now. Staff is always helpful in finding stuff. Pretty much the only place I can find the gain thai dragon fruit laundry detergent. I do like the new remodel of the store. Ill always come back here to find things I cant find at bigger stores

Just came to pick up coffee filters and as I walk up to the door the gal working looks me dead in the eye and says sorry and locks the door. Sign on the door and website both say 9pm. I have given them a lot of business what I need just a couple of things and I’m done shopping here that was very rude!!!

Its a store with the word Dollar in its name, yet its not a dollar store. Everything in there is relatively inexpensive and you can get coupons online to get further discounts. Its pretty clean and the staff is friendly. Overall, the place is good for what it is.

I get ignored at register EVERY time I go in there. There could be a person that works there 20 feet from me and they will keep their back to me and ignore me. Unless they are helping someone else at the register and I am in line I do not get help and I have to chase them down or get their attention or tell them that I can see them ignoring me and I need to come help me. Today I literally said there is someone at the register you need to help your customers. Terribly customer service!

This Family Dollar is clean and fully stocked. Prices are super affordable and staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I wouldve given it 5 stars, but the clothing is so over stocked that it constantly is falling off the racks.

The location of this specific store is very central to all relevant places to my family. And the sales are always great. I dont, however, care much for the store manager over there. Shes really rude when Im shopping. And though its not the employees fault, the store looks dingey and dirty. It needs some TLC from corporate.

Its clean and organized. The staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are good and the sales are great.

Didnt get treated very well the last couple of times I was in by the manager...very unfriendly and snippy...not real sure if I will shop there anymore or not.....

I didnt know they carry my kind of softener. Now I know so I definitely will be goin back .

The Family Dollar Store on Mandan, NDs Main Street has had a new Facelift, and is an efficient place to shop. It is now a vital part of the Mandan Downtown Merchants. Shop there so we dont lose this convenience!

Its nice to have a place closer to home to buy the essentials. Staff isnt very friendly so I deducted one star.
