I think it is a good location to serve the local farmers and ranchers for about a 50 mile radius. Definitely not enough handicapped parking!

Store is out of at least one to two items on my list every time I shop. Today I tried to buy a box of printer paper. I had to go through the self checkout because there was only 1 checkout open and I thought it would be quick. I guessed wrong. I tried to ring up the paper and it wouldnt ring up. I finally got the attendants attention and he came to help. He tried to scan every bar code on the box (they all were the same number). He then looked up a similar item online and wanted to put in that price (I wasnt sure on the price but knew it was between $6-9). I told him I would run back and check. He then went to another customer to help them. He came back over to me and asked another associate for help. He said that he had to open the box and sell them individually. I said, no, if I wanted to buy a single ream of paper I could. The price is for the whole box of paper. He then walked away and the original associate that was helping me tried ringing it up and it came to over $22 for the box. I said I wasnt paying that and I was going to go back and check the price. I went back and took a picture with my phone and brought it back to show him. He was still leary and I showed him the individual priced paper and the other box of paper prices. He finally took my word and put the correct price ($9.98) and I was on my way. What a headache!

The staff working the online grocery pick-up on Aug 29 were amazing. They were very short-staffed yet friendly and communicated well. I was very impressed with their work ethic and dedication to their job.Thank-you for coming in to work!

It is a great Walmart, its pretty big inside and has almost everything you need. Super clean bathrooms. Over all really good, deserves a higher rating.

My Pick Up order was put into ‘delayed’ status. I waited outside at my parking spot for about 20 minutes before an associate came out and asked me for my name. When I gave him my name he said “wrong one” and walked back inside without telling me any further instructions. I waited another 15 minutes before he came out again with groceries in his car and asked me “Where do you want them?”. I instructed the associate to place them in my backseat, he did so and I was on my way. he never confirmed with me about any substitutions or item cancellations. I arrived home to find that my order is still in delayed status on the app. I am also missing 5 to 6 items from my grocery order and my order status has not changed to refund me for the missing items. I find this to be extremely unacceptable and I proceeded to call the store several times unable to reach any associates and any of the department options that is selected through the phone call. The lack of customer service and response to this issue has been extremely disheartening to say the least.

I bought 2 new tires and just had them mounted and balanced. Got them home and a weight just fell off. Im not mad but Walmart needs to train there guys better. I also tried calling them 6 times and not one answer!

Employees were right on top of bringing out groceries to puck up area. Within 2 min. Of puck up time

Arrived home and discovered cashier failed to ring up everything I placed on conveyor, it took about 10 minutes to get home, I called Wal-Mart right away and asked if items were still at the checkout, no they returned, I asked what items cashier failed to ring up, he stated the 6 or 7 items and I asked if they could gather the items so I would not have to walk the store again, store employee stated, no, I would have to come back.Where is the customer service Mandan Walmart

Only one till open at 7pm and the self checkout onlyOffers cash on 3 out of 9 stations. Don’t tell me it’s because of a coin shortage because that’s BS. I get change from the bank all the time for my store and have never been told no because of a change shortage. Just pure laziness on the accounting side of things.

It was a good trip tonightThey had everything I needed. Not alot of people. Cashier was slow, otherwise I would have given 5 stars!

Most unprofessional Wal-Mart I have dealt with yet. Gave my pick up order to the wrong person and left me sitting in pick up until I called to find out why I had been sitting there for 30 mins and received notice that I picked up my order when I didnt. Told me they were waiting for the person to bring my order back to the store after that person had taken the order home. Was going to give me my food order after it had been in someone elses home. After I said no way. They had me sit there another 30 mins until I called them again and they said they were picking the order again. So I had to go back home until the order would be ready. After another hour I finally received more order. 2 hours later I take my order home and of course most of the order was incorrect. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!

They had what I came for and when we asked for help a very nice person helped us.

Like always, theres NEVER more than one or two registers open with 20 people lined up for an hour instead of opening up more registers to cut down the back up!!!!And this time they didnt have anything I went to get for groceries.

I dont shop there too much anymore, aisles are crowded with product waiting to be put out, cant find help when you need it, shelves are empty

Im a truck driver and needed to take a 30min break and needed to shop for the week. I stopped here, not knowing that this store isnt truck friendly. I parked in the back by the docks, and went in to shop. Almost every worker that I encountered walking by, asked if I needed help finding anything. This was quite the surprise at any Walmart that Ive ever been to. Great job staff and management on engaging customers asking if they need help. You guys should be the training model for all of the stores. If I didnt drive a truck, or lived around that area, I would go out of my way to go to this store.

This is one of the nicer WalMarts. They have polished concrete floors so its pretty nice.

General grocery shopping today. Place was very busy. Only three checkouts open so unless you like self check out you had to wait in line for quite awhile. Many shelf spaces were empty. A rather frustrating experience which lately is not out of the ordinary!!!!

Everything i need seems to be on the very top shelf. Might as well put it on the ceiling!!!!

Disappointed that I couldnt find much decaf coffee beans to choose from.

Was accused of shoplifting while I was minding my own business shopping and out of nowhere two cops detain me and parade me through the store in handcuffs just to realize I didnt take anything. It was embarrassing and offensive and i do not recommend this store to anyone.

Unbelievable. Placed an order for grocery pickup. Drove 60 miles, only for them to tell us....they didn’t have time. They cancelled our order. ?? Said they had a nationwide shutdown and all orders were cancelled. No call, no email. What a crock ! Last shopping pickup from there I received outdated sausage. I contacted them. Nothing. Thought I would try it again. What a mistake on my part. Walmart is Mandan, ND ! I will go back to mom and pop stores...I am done.

I cannot believe the rude customer service I received. I needed a bright white semi gloss paint. I asked a employee who asked the manager to help. She came over, looked, and tried to sell me just an accent light base paint. I asked if she could call the other Walmart in Bismarck and see if they had some. She said, No! You can. I said what? She again said, No you can! I will not shop at Walmart in Mandan again even though I live in Mandan.

It was a shock. It was horrible. Only Walmart I have ever been with in. Stock sitting in aisles. Blocking traffic. Empty boxes on floor.in places. It looked like a dirty warehouse then a Walmart store. My husband and I were very disappointed.Asked a young man to help us find where a light bulb a three way light bulb.He came around the corner . Where we were. He brought over a long tuned light bulb and put it on the shelf.Anyway after I asked about the three way light bulb. He told us he never knew they made one of those. But then also told us to ask some one in automotive.My husband and I looked at each other. Every shelf.in that store is a mess. I would not even want to work in a place a like that.We live in Bismarck out for a ride . Needed a few things . So out of the blue we stopped. We were very disappointed.We did buy a few things and left.It was a bad experience.

Impressed with the upgrade since being here in Dartmouth, MA. First time in 5 years. Visiting family. People taking Covid seriously by wearing masks. Walmart associates were quite rude though. Cutting me off, tried to ask a question and was ignored, just kept walking. Another, made me feel like I was a bother. Would have been a great experience, if I felt appreciated as a customer.

Messy. Every time Im there there are huge carts in isles to be stocked in the middle of the day.

Slow help and tills. Food is to sporadic to even count on.

Since I work here I pretty much go almost every day, But I just love how nice and friendly most of everybody is!

Fast and nice cashiers, never have any problem with their self checkout systems. Security has been upgraded which makes me feel much safer and I dont feel scared that they are gonna check all my items and waste my time because of faulty sensors 👍👍👍

I was uncomfortable, I am from AZ but there is no mask mandate in ND. Overall, friendly service, but I made sure I stayed at a distance from people who were not wearing a mask.

1 hour 5 minute wait for curbside pickup... don’t blame the associates as much as a poorly managed Walmart.When I finally got my 2 items (which were only available as pick up) I went inside to go shopping And there was nobody inside.

Went there to get salsa. Got a bunch of other stuff, made a friend, and forgot the salsa. Overall a usual experience.

This is the worst of the three Walmarts in Bismarck / Mandan area. It looks like the store is in a constant state of remodeling. Stuff is just piled up everywhere. Expect extra long wait times since they dont want to pay people to check you out and self check out only has half the registers open. The only reason I shop there is it just isnt worth spending the gas to go to one of the ones in Bismarck.

Pay people decent and maybe they will come to work...a whole year of work until you can receive Health Coverage...What the Hell is that....Micromanage the managers....any other questions
