Mask wearing is not a law! However discriminating against someone with health issues is against the law! Will not be going to this store again! I hope your business closes and smart people stop supporting places such as yours. You can try to force the emcees but you can not force the customers! Factz a mandate is not a law! There is no law requiring masks!
FANTASTIC prices, lovely staff, good people.
I decided to get my husband a nice, sturdy desk as a surprise Christmas gift this year and was encouraged by my coworkers to visit the Habitat for Humanity ReStore. I stopped in on my lunch break and initially picked out a black desk that was a bit scuffed up, but was made of solid wood and would have lasted him a long time. I paid for it and waited as they loaded it up. Unfortunately, the volunteers who were there helping out that day accidentally broke one of the legs while they were attempting to get it in the bed of the truck. I was very disheartened but understood that accidents happened and was going to settle for a refund. However, a man named Jim that I had the pleasure of speaking with earlier took me to the back to view a different desk to see if I might like it. What he showed me turned out to be even better for my husbands personality. The only problem was that when it was donated, the hardware to attach the legs had not come with it. Jim told me if I liked the desk, he would see if the hardware from the broken one would fit. I told him I loved it and crossed my fingers. Lo and behold, because they happened to both be donated by Ashley HomeStore, the hardware fit and I was able to give my husband an amazing gift. I think that it says a lot that Jim went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied as a customer; my husband absolutely loves the desk and for good reason - it is stunning. We have every intention of returning for our future furniture needs. Great job, Jim!
Id give them a zero, if possible. I arranged a pickup of items for my elderly mother. I described items in great detail - specifically a sleeper sofa, which I described as heavy and covered with ugly upholstery. I was asked if it was ripped or stained. It was not. The sofa also had a cover which was new and solid and which was washed and folded. The scheduler scheduled a date, then called back with a date two weeks in the future because there would be two drivers on the truck who could pick up the sofa. I told her that we would have the sofa moved from the study, to the front door, making it easier to remove. When the drivers came, they tried to lift the sofa. After realizing it was heavy, they said it was too dated (only after realizing it was heavy) and they would not take it. When Restore was called, they indicated that drivers are volunteers and have full discretion about what theyll pick up. The drivers were fine with the sofa until they realized it was heavy. Restore either needs to communicate up front that once the drivers arrive that they may or may not pick up items - I wouldve immediately called another organization- or have expectations of their volunteers that some pickups may be heavy. I am unimpressed with how they handled the entire pickup, from scheduling to follow up after they item was not picked up.
One of the best places to find things you never knew you could not live without. I have donated couches, a pallet of tile and many other odd and ends. Just because its out lived your use of it does not mean its garbage, as the saying goes one mans trash is another mans treasure. So instead of throwing it to the curb come donate to a good cause.
Wide variety of everything from building, landscaping, household items, clothing. Very reasonable prices! Wish we had one here.
The most polite n helpful people I love shopping there
Rude employees and high prices. They put high prices on the items they want to take home for themselves just like Goodwill. I thought this was a place for people in need you have to know someone to get a good deal. What a shame for all the flood and fire victims being victimized by nonprofits.
I love this place. You get some great quality items for a decent price. Plus, every dollar helps famalies build their home.
Hours changed. Closes at 4pm now.
Brought them I working used refrigerator work is unloaded it put it in their warehouse with no problem
The re store is a nice store, we bring things in regularly and constantly the workers vanish when unloading a truck to donate to the store. I would rather no one help then for the workers to vanish while helping unload a truck. Good Will helps unload the entire truck with out a problem.
I have never been disappointed but what I fine here.
Habitat does a wonderful job and as a UpCycle person I buy old vintage furniture. As the comment about the sofa being to heavy yes the have the right to say we can not pick this sofa because of the weight. Just because you volunteer does mean that you dont have the personal choice over something that could effect their health. Be grateful for volunteers they are there just there for your personal use. They help the entire community and from my experience they do a wonderful job. I just wish people wouldnt snatch the good stuff before I do! Bring it to goodwill it would just ended up sitting in the back in the dumpster. If you truly want to help go to your Church and ask if they know someone needed a couch. That way you personally see the grateful person and know it truly was a blessing for them. Pay it Forward but dont be resentful for volunteer who physically carry a sleeper sofa which by the way...they weigh as much as a car!
Great experience great prices very friendly
Love this store u can shop to help peoe and they help alot of people..
The prices for items are inflated. The prices reflect more of an antique store rather than a thrift store .
Always find a good bargain. Clean and the people are helpful.
Most of the stuff donated by hotels is great quality (even if you have to refinish). Great prices. Ive arranged staff pick up for furniture I was donating from my home and they were very nice and professional. The decorative nic nacks (candle holders, clocks) are overpriced and poor qulity, but the furniture is wonderful. If you like to repurpose furniture and frames, this is your place. Safer, easier, and better quality than craigslits finds.
Cool place to get project/artsy stuff.
Great place, decent items, wonderful people!
The customer service was horrible!!!! I was trying to buy 2 dressers one with 3 broken drawers! I just wanted to save $25 off of $350 to get the parts to fix it but i got an attitude from everyone i talked to. Thanks for helping a flood victim! Ill never shop here again!
