When we needed a new refrigerator and since we don’t like the quality of appliances at the big box stores, we looked at appliance stores near us and found Advantage Appliance in Mansfield, MA.My wife and I went to the store and met with Mark Saucier and found that they had a great selection of quality refrigerators at good prices. We selected a great Bosch refrigerator and so far, it is the best one we have ever had. When it came time to buy the rest of the appliances for our new kitchen, it was a no brainer. We went back to see Mark at Advantage Appliance.If you need great appliances, you need to visit Advantage Appliance, and if you want great service, ask for Mark Saucier or anyone else that works there. They are honorable and go out of their way to make sure their customers are satisfied.
Bob B. and Eric were extremely professional and helpful with my recent purchase of a fridge and washing machine. I needed replacements immediately because my appliances stopped working unexpectedly. They identified which models in stock would fit our space specifications, provided extremely competitive pricing and scheduled delivery and pick up of our old appliances in less than a week. We were very pleased.

I like/believe in supporting local businesses. Advantage Appliance matched prices, and were helpful in person. However, their telephone customer service, with ghastly hold music needs considerable improvement. Sadly, many well call you back, calls went astray. Rarely were calls returned, with horrible long hold times when I had to keep chasing them. Slower than stated deliveries was also disappointing.
Bob helped me choose appliances for the kitchen and laundry room. I appreciated his communication, expertise, and professionalism. Bob helped me choose the right appliances for my home. Bob was able to answer my many questions and kept me updated on the delivery status. I am very pleased with the appliances that I purchased. I was in need of a clothes dryer since my less than five year old Samsung crapped out. Based on Consumer Reports and other sources, I decided to buy an LG dryer and knew the specific model I wanted. I called Advantage and spoke with Erik B who was very helpful. They had the model I wanted at a good price and could deliver within a few days. Done. All handled over the phone with prompt and professional service. I definitely recommend Advantage to anyone who is in need of a new appliance.

LOYALTY, I emailed Mark at Advantage Appliance and asked his opinion on a stove, he offered to show me a better one at a lower price, I went to the store and bought and paid for the stove that Mark suggested. The day before it was to be delivered, (which was only a couple days from when i purchased) I get a call from Mark saying the stove wasnt on the truck, he checked and it had been back ordered 4-5 weeks, please give him a call back. When I called back, Mark had already done research on other stoves that were in stock, prices, reliability and reviews on a bunch of stoves. Long story short, OVER THE PHONE, i canceled the original purchase, made a new purchase, set up delivery ( delivered in 5 days ) AND, even though the second stove was more money, they sold it to me for the same price. NOW..... this would have never happened so smoothly at a box store ! !!!!THIS is why for the last several years, and in my future, I will be buying all my appliances from Advantage Appliance, they are LOYAL to me, working for me, and helping at every turn. So it only makes sense that Im LOYAL to them. My family, my friends and anyone asks me where to get the best service, Im sending them to Advantage Appliance. THEY ARE THE BEST, period !! Hired them for the repair of my dishwasher and instead of fixing the problem I ended up with a leaky dishwasher. Worst part, they wouldn’t agree that the leak was because of the repair. After multiple calls they send the technician who confirmed that the leak was because of the motor they replaced. Three months of back and forth and my problem is worse than where it started. I am fed up and will take my business elsewhere.
Have purchased appliances from Advantage and customer service is always great. Love being able to speak with a person which you don’t get at big box stores. Purchased washer and drier years ago with warranty and they stand by warranties with no hassle. Just recently purchased fridge and very happy with it. Delivery has been great with all the purchases and employees are responsive. Would highly recommend...professional and personable.
I dont need appliances often but I have always used Advantage. So when my washing machine quit, I called and Mark helped me. Within a few emails we narrowed down what we wanted on Thursday and it was installed on Friday!What made it go smoothly on my side is the trust I had in what they suggest and the service I knew I would get.

One day my refrigerator started to leak water underneath. Then the next day the freezer started to make loud noises and then suddenly the temperature stopped. The fan in our freezer broke. They came and took a look at the whole refrigerator. We lost so much food. The first repair guy came and ordered for a new fan. Which we waited for a few days. Not a big deal but we just wanted the problem fixed. A week goes by and the same leak came back. Are freezer was leaking which then turned into a huge block of ice. We called again. We had to remove food for the second time. A different guy came to analyze the freezer. Realizing it was misdiagnosed and the problem in fact was the water line. He was great and ordered the new replacement for the water line. So I thought the problem was fixed but now our fridge is leaking Again from the same exact spot and our freezer is turning into a giant block of ice for the 3rd time. I’m really frustrated. Our problem never got fixed. We’re going to call a different company now unfortunately.
The BEST in sales and service! I have used Advantage Appliance at least 5 times on existing appliances and have bought 2 new appliances and every time the experience has been exceptional! Very personal and prompt response whether in the showroom or over the phone. John Andrade has been great to deal with in sales and scheduling service requests. In the midst of moving into a newly purchased older home, I needed rather urgent replacement for a dishwasher. I had done some online research but didnt really have the time or energy to go to the showroom. Together over the phone and online viewing, I made a purchase and John went the extra effort to schedule delivery and installation with a few days! I had the same experience when I purchased a new wash machine. Within the past month, both my oven and freezer have needed service. Every technician who has ever serviced my appliances were courteous and thorough. Jeffrey was my most recent technician, but every technician, delivery and installation experience has been very positive. Every person I speak to on the phone is very helpful and courteous. We will be updating our older home and will want to purchase new kitchen appliances - our first and only call will be to Advantage Appliance!
UPDATE: Advantage reached out to us with an alternative refrigerator and it will be delivered shortly. Thank you for looking into this matter and the personal attention you gave to our situation. A big box store would not have acted so quickly if there was a problem like this.
Recently called Advantage Appliance for a repair on my refrigerator ice maker. They scheduled a diagnostic visit soon after .. were knowledgeable, professional .. diagnosed, got the solenoid part, and fixed it. I would definitely call Advantage Appliance for any other work needed.

We had a very positive experience with our recent purchases. The shop came highly recommended by our builder.I will break down our entire process into 2 steps.1. The selection process: We worked with Mark. He patiently walked us through every aspect of the appliances we were selecting. He was very knowledgeable, helpful and there was NO pressure on us to purchase or rush our selection. The prices were all on par with online or those at big box stores.2. The Home Delivery : The shop coordinated the delivery with our builder and items were all on time and needed no co ordination from us.Overall: we greatly recommend buying at Advantage Appliance.
The staff at Advantage Appliance were all more than knowledgeable on the inventory of stoves we were looking at. Prices were reasonable and there are some neat high tech options to upgrade any kitchen on a budget. Its great to see a local business who treats you like family and delivers beyond your expectations! I will definitely be seeing the team at Advantage again!

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. From Neil the owner to Mark the extremely patient salesperson that stuck with me through my research and many questions that I threw at him in my quest to select a fridge. I am happy with my selection and they took care of every thing including a better price than the big box stores and extremely courteous throughout the whole process. Two weeks later my dishwasher went and I went to them again but declined the delivery and installation from Advantage as I have used my own repair guy for years. No problem they understood.A few days after the sale I got a call from Advantage to see if I was happy with the dishwasher and everything was okay. It was not. The installation was problematic for my installer and I explained to Mark the issues.Shortly thereafter I got a call from Neil the owner asking about the problems. He absolutely insisted on sending his installer over to reinstall my dishwasher the proper way and did not charge me one penny even though I insisted on paying and the problem was not on him one bit.He had no obligation to help me at all.That my friends is going above and beyond for excellent customer relations. I will not shop anywhere else for my appliances. A class act family business with very competitive prices and I would suggest the cheap comes out expensive so leave the delivery and install to these professionals. It is rare or better yet non existent that I give this kind of review but this company deserves it.
We went to advantage to purchase a new dishwasher. We talked to Brandon. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. After we were done buying the dishwasher we wanted to look around for ideas for a new house. Brandon took the time to walk with us and give us some money saving ideas. He knew the new house was out of state and we wouldnt be able to use advantage but still took time to help. We love advantage and will continue to go back. I tell all my friends!
We fortunately dont need to purchase appliances too often- but when we do, we always end up at Advantage Appliance, and for good reason. We recently needed a refrigerator and washer/dryer all at the same time and Mark was incredibly helpful and patient with us and all our questions. He worked hard to make sure we were getting the best deals on what we purchased, matching or beating others prices, and gave us good advice on what features we needed and what we could do without.You cant go wrong there.
Had to order a new microwave and wanted to buy local. Called Advantage and was lucky enough to get Mark on the phone. I knew the Model I wanted and I could get it cheaper here than my best online price! Order came in quickly as promised. Decided to replace my dishwasher the next week, and called Mark again. This time I didnt know what I wanted. Mark was very knowledgeable and helped me make a choice, he even made me aware of an available rebate. When the dishwasher came in, he and another salesman unloaded my old dishwasher from my truck and loaded the new one in, smiling the whole time! I wont get another appliance anywhere else!
I would rate ‘0’ star. They do not deserve even a single star. In a SINGLE WORD “Stay away”.My freezer was not working hence called them for repair. Their technician Jeff inspected for less than two minutes and said temperature sensor was bad and left. Another technician Dave came after 10 days and replaced temperature sensor and left without checking it’s function. I informed them the following day that the freezer is at same condition where it was. They demanded me to pay the service call first to send again the technician. I am willing to pay whatever it is, but requested for proper diagnosis and repair, before payment.It looks that they are kind of SCAM to visit home and charge for multiple visits without proper diagnosis/repair. Now I am at the same situation where I was at 5 weeks back.Finally, my sincere advise to Sharon and neighborhood people STAY AWAY from AA. AA lacks professionalism, expertise, and capacity to repair. It’s really a SCAM to mis-diagnosis and charge for multiple visits. My mistake was not reading YELP reviews, better read YELP reviews as well, when considering AA.I am adding below in response to OWNER message :First, why should I pay “for mis-diagnosis/ or spending two minutes? ” neither diagnosed nor repaired.Second, if your tech transcribed payment info wrongly was that my mistake?

I went into the store thinking, theyre going to sell me the most expensive thing they THINK i can afford, and dont REALLY care about me, just my money. WOW was I wrong. I was greeted politely, asked several questions, all to narrow THEIR search for what I NEEDED most. I delt with Mark, and several other people, which ALL were very nice and helpful. We ended up purchasing a dishwasher, and we couldnt be more happy with it. It works and run JUST as Mark told us it would. The story doesnt end there....OH ..NO.... I decided that our house needed a freezer, I shopped around and found what seamed good, THEN i emailed Mark at the store and asked what he could do for me. I found the same freezer, beat all the other prices, and said he could have it at the store in 2 days. We bought the freezer. Just awesome people to deal with. Im wondering what the next appliance in my house will break.... so I can call Advantage Appliance and get a TOP shelf product for box store pricing AND be treated with respect... NOT just a guy with a checkbook !!

I purchased a whole kitchen worth of appliances for my remodeled kitchen and was very happy to purchase everything from Advantage Appliance. I got quotes from several other appliance stores plus Lowes and Home Depot. Bob B. at Advantage worked with me to reduce his prices as low as possible and ended up being very competitive and very close to Lowes pricing. During the buying process, anytime my wife & I had questions (and we had many), Bob was always very responsive even after business hours and is he extremely knowledgeable. Having received very little assistance from either Home Depot or Lowes in searching for appliances, I decided to try Advantage Appliance. My new kitchen required specific size appliances, and John Andrade my sales person was excellent in both product knowledge and being able to guide me to the best value for my money. I would highly recommend Advantage Appliance and will continue to use them for future appliance purchases.
I browsed the big box stores as well as a few local, but Advantage Appliance was the customer service and patience I needed to make the right decision. All of my questions were answered down to the very detailed ones, and John Andrade took the time (and patience with my toddler running around!) to make sure all our bases were covered before making a big decision. Will definitely visit Advantage Appliance again when the need arises.

An excellent experience in purchasing our new washer and dryer. John A. was exceptional in helping us figure out what was best for our needs rather than trying to sell us something we did not want. I visited Advantage Appliance when my dryer died on me and I had wet clothes in the dryer and the washing machine. So, I wanted a quick turnaround and Bob at Advantage Appliance helped me out. My new dryer showed up the next day. I have been an Advantage Appliance customer for a long time and am happy with the superior products they carry and their friendly service.
Oven in electric stove stopped working and wasnt worth cost of repair. called Advantage Appliance and spoke to Mark who was very pleasant, informative and helpful. I hung up after talking to him and drove to the store. Since I knew exactly what I wanted the buying process was very quick and Mark told me stove could be delivered the next day. I couldnt have been more impressed with the quick delivery. I would highly recommend Mark and Advantage Appliance and know I will be purchasing any future appliances there.

Working with Advantage Appliance has been the best experience. Our salesman Mark Saucier was knowledgeable and extremely helpful. He did not push his own recommendations, but patiently explained the reasoning to us and the pluses and minuses of each of our choices so we made informed decisions. The pricing in the end was almost identical to the big box stores on sale and there is just no comparison in the level of service. There were some very minor manufacturers defects on a couple of our appliances (very small cosmetic things). He had the service people out right away to replace them. We had a complex delivery requests due to delays from our contractor and he accommodated us by delivering our order at different times at no charge. He even personally delivered a needed connector to our house. And best of all, he filled out all the rebates for us and they came immediately (I would have definitely forgotten or screwed it up). Given how difficult it was to get service on our appliances ordered from the big box stores and that appliances are no longer built to last, I am definitely sticking with Advantage for all my future needs.

Somewhat mixed experience. Salesman was good showing us many options with plus and minuses for 2 refrigerators and a new gas range we are going to purchase. After going through choices we took a couple of days to do some measuring and considering what to purchase. Then, a couple of days later our 7+ year old Samsung washer gave up the ghost. It started making ungodly noises then it died. So we figured, well maybe seeing what we are about to purchase, might as well add a washer to the mix: went back to Advantage and got the same good reception from the sales guy. We bought a washer and were disappointed it would take 7 days for delivery but the price was OK so we said lets get it. We were told we would be notified on the Saturday preceding the expected Monday delivery. By Sunday morning we had not heard from the delivery people so my wife went on line and posted a question about our delivery. She got a response saying we had been notified by email. Problem was, it was not my email, they got it wrong. They responded with info saying delivery would be Monday 12-3 PM. So Monday we waited, and after 3 PM I called to get this response, (after a 5 minute hold) the delivery team will be there in a little while (or words to that effect) When I asked what a little while meant, I got another response something like in a while. So I told the clerk find out and let me know what a little while means. I told them I expected delivery by 3:30 (half hour late after a 3 hour window) or I would need to be compensated for my inconvenience. I got a call back about 10 minutes later saying the team should be there in about 20 minutes. (Now pushing 40-45 mins late if they did show up) I told them it was too late, I would need to be compensated if they expected me to wait longer. So I told them I would be in the shop in a few minutes for a refund. It was clear, with absolutely no apology, only excuses the deliveries were running late and there were other customers whose delivery was late, on time deliveries are not important to them.. I guess that was suppose to make me feel good; not being alone in regards to their their on time incompetence. It is pretty terrible customer appreciation that when a delivery commitment can not be met, the supplier does not notify the customer. When we got to the shop the snotty clerk (he was upset with my agitated perspective) he told me he knew the deliveries were late but they did not call customers because it might make them be concerned.Anyway, aside from their incompetence in delivery, the shop has a good salesman and the prices, if somewhat tough to understand, are OK. Needless to say my $6000 other purchases will go to another store. It is unfortunate that a smallish local company can not recognize the need for superb customer service. In the heated discussion, the sales clerk (sort of) threatened he would not issue my credit and leave the charge for the purchase I never got! Superb service. Seems the bottom line is the shop appears to give good choices and are knowledgeable, prices are confusingly competitive, but if you are a stickler (I believe you get what you accept) for fair service you may want to consider my non on time experience delivery and absolutely unapologetic response topped off with a threat to charge me for a non delivered item.The sad part of all this is: had they had the common sense, courtesy (call it what you like) to call me advising the deliveries were late, I would not have cancelled the order and I might have a washer now. Instead, they have this report,I just read the response. It is clear the owner has no clue. 25 minutes after the delivery date, and I made NO DEMANDS, I was told the team would be about 20 minutes more. 40 - 45 minutes late, He did not explain why we were not contacted Saturday. He did not explain why we were not contacted when the company knew the delivery would be late, he did not explain why we we threatened to be charged.
Over the past 15 years I have purchase three homes and have rehabbed each one. Every time I needed new appliances, I went to Advantage Appliance. The product selection moves from moderate to high end and the service is more than outstanding. When I have had issues with appliances, I can always call and got a repair person out within 24 hours (They will book him for you!). They are friendly, reliable and family owned. I would suggest going to Advantage Appliance before you go anywhere else. One stop, great service and you are done!
A great store to work with! From purchasing to delivery, every step was smooth and straightforward. The store has the selection of a larger, chain store but really provides personal and genuine service. John helped me choose my appliances and was incredibly responsive via phone and email whenever I had questions. He helped me track down a specific wine fridge I wanted and was always in touch throughout the process. The delivery team was on time and polite, and Brandon was a huge help when there were some delivery issues (all the issues were my fault and not theirs, and they were still so helpful and friendly in spite of my errors). Highly recommend Advantage Appliance!
These folks have terrific service. We have a 20 year old range that the self-clean cycle was broken. Made the appointment, was told how it all works, got a call the morning of the repair confirming the exact time window, Dave showed up - had it fixed in about 30 minutes. Ran through complete clean cycle perfectly! Will go here when we replace our appliances for sure.
We purchased all our new kitchen appliances from Advantage Appliance. We worked with Mark Saucier who is a sales associate there. He was easy to work with, thorough and kept in touch with us throughout the process coordinating delivery of the new appliances and removal of the old ones. We would work with him again on any other appliance purchase we needed to make.
I went to Advantage Appliance to look for appliances for our new kitchen. I was very overwhelmed and had no idea where or how to begin. Mark Saucier Jr. was sent over to help us and he was amazing!!! He is extrememly knowledgable, patient and has excellent communication skills. He explained everything and really helped guide us. So I went here on the advice of my Mom who had recently bought a whole house full of appliances and thought they were wonderful. I recently moved to the area and needed a washer & dryer. The store experience was awesome, and I was happy to purchase a top of the line pair from Electrolux. Then it went down hill, the delivery was a nightmare. I was never called for delivery and then what was to have been a 3-6 delivery didnt show up till 7:30, they didnt leave until 9. AAs response was oh well, they couldnt provide updates and when I asked to reschedule the delivery I was told it would be 2 more weeks. Oh & this was a Friday night & I had plans. It didnt stop there, there is a rebate that has been a total disaster & I have had to call 2X plus provide pictures because they had messed up the paperwork. The manager needs some customer service training. So much for avoiding the big box stores. They never even called to say they were sorry.

Full service appliance store. Service what they sell unlike the big box stores like Home Depot, Lowes, Best Buy..I dont feel you get the same quality appliances at a lumber yard that you get at a home town specialty appliance store. Appliances ARE their specialty.

I bought a new Amana dryer at Sears Outlet on 9/7. It would not shut off automatically, I realized a week later. We called for a warranty service call, and I put 5 hours of my life on hold. Tech #1 showed on time; I left him in basement to do his thing and went upstairs to do mine. An hour later, he tells me there is a faulty timer, hell order and will see me next week. 5 days later he returns...another 5 hours of my life on hold, and I have a job offer but have to put off the drug test cause, ya know, 12 - 5 waiting for service call # 2... dude tells me the new timer must also be faulty, ordering again. No contact from them for a week; I call demanding a fix! Scheduled for 12-5 on 10/14. Totally different guy shows, says he has no timer, but will fix in 5 minutes or less...??? Takes the back off the machine, touches nothing and then tells me to follow the orange wire. Now understand there are like 6-8 colored wires that go from the top to the bottom...AND THE ORANGE WIRE is NOT ATTACHED???????? SO, he plugs in the wire, we test TWICE, and all is good. BUT, I gave up 15 hours waiting for THREE service calls. And I lost 4 hours of paid work for the 3rd. So free warranty visit still cost me $50+ in lost wages. Checking basic connections should be step 1? This should have been fixed on visit one and I should be up 10 hours of happy life and 4 hours of paid work, and not have to apologize for missing a 1/2 day of work on my 6th day if a new job!!!!!! Disgusted.

We bought a very expensive refrigerator. We came home to extensive property damage, a ripped out tree, vadalized lawn, trash in our driveway and a dented refrigerator. AA’s response is to say “they have never had an issue with their delivery service before”....yet I am directed to the owner Tony. Tony won’t give his last name, his insurance company, his drivers name or an email. To think a family owned company sent a delivery company that did such extensive damage to our home...and all we get is “it’s the delivery people.” I am horrified. This is the absolute worst experience ever, our calls to AA are met with an employee who laughed, a person who just keeps saying “did the deliveryperson call you?” We bought from Advantge Appliance and now sit with our damaged property and dented product and they do nothing but tell us to call the delivery people. Horrifying. Absolutely would never recommend.

I’m not sure what marine bob is talking about, but I had superb service at the time of sale to the delivery team in my house. Would definelty shop there again.
In September 2017 my KitchenAid fridge and dishwasher (circa 1998) decided to die. With the holidays approaching, I like most consumers, went to Home Depot and did not even consider the local small appliance dealer. That was my first big mistake! I ordered the shiny stainless steel Samsung French door fridge. It took 4 weeks for it to arrive and in less than 2 weeks the ice-maker broke. Come to find out, this is the #1 issue with Samsung refrigerators. Long story short, there was ZERO support from Home Depot. All I got was a Samsung support number that only took calls during a four-hour window of time M-F because they are in South Korea. Mind you, no one EVER answered at this number. I called Home Depot and insisted they come back and get the Samsung out of my house. I ordered another KitchenAid because they are better quality and still a US based company. I told the Home Depot sales clerk that I was having a large party on December 16th and wanted to be sure I had it by then. She assured me that it would be delivered by December 12th. On December 15th, I got a call from KitchenAid home offices and they were perplexed as to why HD gave me that date because they were backordered and it would not be arriving until December 28th and the dishwasher wouldn’t come until January. I was furious with Home Depot for this poor communication and service! Stay with me, it gets better!I was reminded of Advantage Appliance in Mansfield as I drove by one evening and looked at their website when I got home. They had the exact same refrigerator for the exact same price. I called spoke to Mark Saucier, Jr. and told him my story. He said he had one in the store and invited me to come and look at it. I mentioned that they also had the same dishwasher, but it was 75 dollars more. He matched the price that I received at Home Depot without any hesitation! By this time, it was Monday December 11th and my party was the 16th. I asked him when the fridge could be delivered and he said, “How about tomorrow, but the dishwasher wouldn’t be until the next week”. I was floored! I figured I could get by without the dishwasher, but not the fridge so I was thrilled! And it gets better! He called the next day to tell me that if I got the upgrade to the dishwasher, he could put me in for the rebate for it and I could have that delivered AND installed on Friday the 15th! Mark saved my party and my cleanup! He was so knowledgeable, calm, and kept me smiling with his fun humor and supportive attitude. It’s clear that he loves his job and working with people. He helped me calm down, listened to my frustration which made me feel better. His professionalism and astute service was impeccable and he followed up the within an hour after the installers left to see if I was happy. And I was! If you need large appliances, I would highly recommend talking with Mark Saucier, Jr. at Advantage Appliance in Mansfield, Mass. Next will be the stove and I will be returning there when the time comes. Excellent service from Mark!! Small businesses are better quality and service and Advantage Appliance had better prices comparatively than the other small business appliance stores around my area. They are the best by far! Thank you all!

Never-ever think of this brand. We bought wall micro of this brand. Hooked up and found that turn table is not woking. This dealer ordered part, great job in two days they came and fixed it. The person who came left couple wires loose in it, started making scraping noice and then blowed internal fuse. That fuse is in order since last two weeks, till date the microwawe is not up. Brand is bad, and what do you think of tech who left wires loose?
