The selection of some things is real slim but ok value shopping for basics. The store was clean & well organized.As with any grocery store some things will be cheaper here & some more expensive.The tomatoes could have been more fresh. I wanted a bag of potatoes but they were out.The cashier was very helpful & friendly.Paper bags are 10 cents, plasric 3 cents so scavenge the store as you shop for boxes or bring your own if you dont want to buy bags.

My step son treats cashiers like they are his bestest friends..And thats how they treat him

There is always a consistent beeping every time Im there so I try to be as quick as possible.

The manager on duty could not change a mistake because her ol man had her keys. Not impressed at all!!!

I couldnt get over the fact today that the cashier was not wearing mask. The sign on the door clearly states no one allowed without a mask. I mean its the law after all right? Maybe theres an underlying medical cause. More than meets the eye i guess.

The store manager was checking out customers with no mask on one day after the county was coded purple. During a public health crisis, management cannot be bothered to do the bare minimum. Disgusting behavior. I will not return

First time there, moved from Marion and some things were different. Didnt have Pick 5 for meat being the biggest. Clean and friendly, will go back.

Im a fan of Save-A-Lot. Generally speaking, they live up to their name, you just have to be careful, because theres a few pricier things that can destroy your budget. However, Im generally impressed with their store brand items, because they are usually as good as, if not a little bit better than the name brand items. This particular location is always clean and the people are almost always friendly and helpful.

The food here is cheap but a lot of the fresh products are not that great. Packaged products seem to do fine for me. I think the biggest selling point here is their meat Dept. Ive never had a problem with the meat and its fairly cheap. Lines can get really long and they tend to only have one person on registers at a time.

I like this store, great way to afford restocking your pantry at good prices. Do not like that you have to wait in line when busy, only one cashier working. Got frustrating for me. So if they are busy, I leave and go back later.

Good prices, good selection... sales are too random on meat. I’d like to know WHEN things will be on sale so I can plan trips.

Save NONE...AND pay for carts. Almost had to go to another grocery store because i couldnt find a quarter. Cant get groceries without a cart. Pop cases were soggy cases of water and pop had obviously been left in the rain. Studies show that leaving bottled water outside in the sun will cause chemicals in the plastic to leech into the water...scetchy place 2day. Since you asked.

This is a clean store with good cuts of fresh meat. Name brands and selections otherwise are pretty limited, but most prices are very reasonable.
