We had such a wonderful experience with Floors of Distinction. We worked with Billie primarily on both the floors and countertops, then finished up with Christina. Both were very knowledgeable, patient, helpful, and let us set the pace. They also really listened to what we wanted, then helped us make the vision come true. Everyone there is professional and knows their job well-Richard did the installation and we loved it. Price was fair and competitive as well. We looked around before choosing them but no other place could provide the high level of customer service. We are so pleased at the result of our first floor remodel and we recommend Floors of Distinction to everyone!

This is the second major project I have done with Floors of Distinction in Maple Grove. Their product is top notch, workmanship great. Christina Burns makes doing the project fun. She is creative and knows exactly what will work best for her clients. I highly recommend Floors of Distinction.

From the beginning of this project to the end, the team at Floors of Distinction were awesome. The designer Billie was so helpful and knowledgeable about the best product to use. I have used Floors of Distinction before and already knew the quality of the craftsmanship of their Installer and once again he delivered an absolute perfect installation of the Kahrs wood floor system having to undercut wood paneling and a brick fireplace. His work is flawless! I have dealt with many good craftsmen in the past but Richard stands at the top of the line. His attention to detail makes for a perfect job. Had a great experience! We bought some beautiful natural maple hardwood flooring that exceeded our expectations! Worked with Colleen who was friendly and knowledgeable. They have a great selection and we did not feel pressured or hurried to make a decision.

We bought our house 2 years ago which was built and stuck in 1991. We knew that flooring would be a priority project. There were many pieces to the puzzle including carpeting, hardwood floors, luxury vinyl tile and custom stair work. We were referred to Floors of Distinction by a co-worker. We worked with the owner Bruce as well as Billie and Logan. Along with a great selection of samples and creative design ideas, our entire project went very smoothly. Working with one store for our entire project from start to finish was great and incredibly convenient. No chasing around trying to coordinate products and installation. Speaking of installation, all of the installers were great! Very professional and made helpful suggestions along the way. We are extremely happy with how everything turned out.

We have had two carpet installations done by Floors of Distinction, one in the upper level/bedrooms and one in the basement. Both times the experience was excellent. The main reason we went there to begin with was that we heard they offer great design services in addition to selection. We didnt need to come in with pictures or the exact thing we wanted. Once the designer helped us get a few ideas, they came to our house to take measurements and also helped us with paint colors and anything else the carpet needed to go with. We definitely were not offered that anywhere else! Scheduling was quick and after the installation, the team promptly came out to touch things up after we lived in the space for a bit. Theres not much left to carpet in our house but we will be going back to Floors of Distinction when we do!

We worked with With Floors of Distinction 20 years ago and had a wonderful experience. That’s what brought us back. They are very knowledgeable about the products they sell, will offer an opinion when asked and are great to work with. Billie is nothing short of FABULOUS. Christina was very knowledgeable about a variety of flooring products and was extremely helpful with design ideas and color suggestions. The installer was friendly, prompt, efficient and left the area very clean. Customer service is excellent and the next time I need flooring I will go back to Floors of Distinction. I could not be happier with my experience!

Christina and Matt are AWESOME! This company installed wood laminate flooring on our entire main level. I cant say enough about the professionalism of all the people I met. We had a few snafus that come with a project of this size, but rather then run away and blame someone else, they ran to our rescue and got the job done. This company is now responsible for the flooring throughout my entire home and I couldnt be happier. Highly recommend!

Heather was the main reason we chose Floors of Distinction. She really understood what we were looking for, guided us on colors, choices, everything. Really knows her stuff. Richard and his assistant did a fabulous job installing our floor. Fixed issues the previous installer on our other floor created when he put in the floor, kept everything clean while working, cleaned and swept afterwards. Great work by everyone! thank you !

We had carpet, luxury vinyl tile and wood-look laminate installed in our town home. Christina was skillful at listening to what we wanted and making suggestions that fit our taste and budget. The installers did expert work and cleaned up well after themselves. We are very happy with the results and would highly recommend Floors of Distinction. We also appreciated her recommendations of painters and a plumbing company who also did great work.

They are a top quality, professional organization who really care if you are pleased. We bought a Hickory floor from them, but they noticed manufacturing defects to such an extent that they gave us a brand new floor for free. It is oak, and we are delighted. Richard, the installer, does an excellent job and really cares about quality. Also, we worked with Colleen for our entire remodel and could not be more pleased. 👍👍

Excellent selection and customer service. I just worked with Floors of Distinction for new carpeting. Their selection of flooring is extensive. They listened to what my needs were, what expectations I had for how the flooring should look and perform and were able to make suggestions on what would best fit my area and the interior style of my house. The carpet installers were courteous, respectful and very detail oriented when installing the carpet and cleaning up after installation. My room and new carpeting look beautiful. A great experience from start to finish.

Looks great! Im super happy with the color we chose together with the staff - it is the right contrast for all the stuff going on in this space. The installer was fantastic and great to work with. And I love the mfrs website where there was a product visualizer tool - really helped me feel less anxious in the run-up to install.What Im most excited about is the level of service you all provided to me. It was exactly what I needed, and everything worked out perfectly. Loyal customer from now on :)

In Oct of 18 our sewer line broke and wrecked our basement carpet. We then shopped around the big box stores, where customer service was lacking, but all too gear to take our money. Then we did the sensible thing and asked our neighbors (word of mouth, the best and most trusted advertisement ever!). This lead us to Floors of Distinction, and from start to finish we did not regret a moment of doing business with them. Very profession, reasonably priced, and courteous from people in the showroom to the people that installed our new laminate floors. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to both friends and strangers alike. Their professionalism is matched only by their quality of work, they will be the last place you look at when shopping for a new floors- so save yourself the time and make them your the first stop.

Overpriced and under knowledgeable. I went there trying to get flooring that already exists in the house, looks like 3 boards on 1 plank 8x48, and Im told that its outdated and dont carry it. I found it at Menards!

We recently tackled the dreaded job of replacing carpet throughout the house. Logann and Christina were incredibly helpful with design options. They came out to my home to help narrow down the choices and provide feedback. The entire process was just seamless! Steve and Mike did an amazing job on installation. I couldnt be happier with the outcome. I highly recommend FOD!

Workers are rude! The guy they sent out to do our hardwood floors was very disrespectful. He was condescending and contentious the entire time. He forgot to replace shims under our sink and then denied it. The owner came out and verified that he did indeed forget to replace the shims causing our sink to separate from the counter. When he returned he became argumentative and disrespectful saying “I am not speaking to you, be quiet”. I could not believe how he was speaking to me. I had to ask him to leave my house without completing the repairs because he was being so disrespectful. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR YOUR FLOORING NEEDS.
