We transitioned to having all of our vehicle oil changes and repairs done at the Maple Grove BP after reviewing service center reviews throughout the northern metro. We selected this location based on the positive reviews and can sincerely concur with others who were satisfied. When you call them for support or to schedule an appointment, you will talk to Dan and he will be there for you from beginning to end.He just finished up some work on my Father-In-Laws vehicle and was so very honest with what needed to be done and assured us that it would be done right and on-time. It was and we couldnt be happier.Give them a chance. You will NOT be disappointed!

I went into the station recently for an oil change. Because my check engine light was on, I had them do a diagnostic. Based on what they discovered, the nice gentleman recommended to NOT fix my car based on the cost of the repair. He told me it will NOT harm my vehicle in any way by not fixing the issue. I appreciated his honesty and didnt try to convince me to spend $2600 on something that did not need repaired.Even the gal working the cash counter was super nice!It was such a pleasant experience.Thank you BP for looing for out for me.

For nearly 11 years I have lived in MN, this is by far the best car shop I have ever gotten car repair services from. I took my car in for brake repairs then I met Dan, the General Manager, he made sure my car was going to get fixed with my budget. He was very professional with emphasis on my safety and making sure services are done right. They also did an oil change and a ticket to get a car wash. They also called me back a few days later to make sure everything was ok.I would definitely recommend. The best customer service experience!!

Brought in a tire to be fixed, had a hole in it. Yeah okay their technicians are so bright they couldnt even find the hole in the tire. I had to take it to a real gas station in Bloomington Minnesota to have it fixed. After I got the tire fixed from a real gas station this Amoco station would not refund my money for not doing it the job they were hired to do.Maybe if they werent out smoking dope in the back alley way they would know what theyre doing. If this is the owner of the station reading this comment please contact me. I would love to show you the time in question and what your employees did it. Looks like they ran a grinder all the woay around the tire wrecking the tread. Being that Im a business owner myself I spend about 7 to $10,000 a year on gas that will no longer be bought from BP at Bass Lake Road

I brought my car in today to Maple grove BP for an oil change. I called yesterday and scheduled my appointment. Even though i was 20 minutes late for my appointment they promptly brought my car in and told me that it was totally fine. Erik Jerde the service writer was so courteous and even got me a great deal. Mike and Brian in service were both very funny and nice and made the whole experience enjoyable. I would highly recommend bringing your vehicle to Maple grove BP, they do a wonderful job and their staff is very friendly and professional.

Call Dan and he will set you up. The mechanic Ilyia, is a great one. They tell me what maintenance is a priority and have great pricing for the work they do. Honest and straightforward shop.

I am not sure if it is the previous negative reviews, but they were extremely friendly and helpful and gave me options to reduce the cost of my repairs, and called me with updates when they said they would. We’ve been taking our vehicles here for years. They’ve always “squeezed us in”. Dan always makes sure he’s giving us the best price possible. We trust the work they do and recommend.

Came the first time and was 10 minutes late and the mechanic said he let somebody else get the car done and refused to serve me. Rescheduled only to find out that my oil change wasnt covered under the coupon they sold me. I dont know enough about cars to say which oil I needed. The guy who sold it to me said my car would be covered under it for synthetic oil. It turned out my car only got full synthetic so it wouldnt work for it. Tried to get a refund and he refused but said he could do half off a way overpriced oil change. His regular price for full synthetic oil was $80. I did some research and thats over double what most places charge. After the disrespectful and shady business practices he called me to ask if I wanted my air filters changed and it was over $70 for two of them. After agreeing to having them changed I found out once again that he was charging way to much. I highly recommend Steves Auto World(Also in Maple Grove) as you can do oil changes and car filters for no more than 50-60. With a polite and caring staff that isnt just trying to rip you off and take advantage of you. Oh and it takes them an hour rather than a whole day to do it.

Best place to get anything done on your car. Highly recommended!

Service is usually ok here, the reason I’m leaving a 1 star is that I left my car there Saturday morning for repair and left a number, and they NEVER called back...that night I called and the lady answering said they couldn’t even give me my car back unless I paid in full, well I had wanted to check with the shop manager to make sure my coupons were applied, which she said couldn’t be done until the shop guys came in on MONDAY. I told her I couldn’t wait that long and basically half the time she was like “I don’t usually work here so I don’t know much...” Seriously? You couldn’t do the simple calculation on the invoice to find if they applied the discount? I wanted to talk to a manager to fix this situation by Sunday and she also refused to give me details, so I’m just stuck without a car now trying to figure out the next step. Not happy, especially since I wanted to continue service here.

Whoever the old lady working this morning was unpleasant, lazy, and rude. Went to get gas and car wash. The receipt jammed so I had to go in, as soon as I walk in the gal was unpleasant. Seemed annoyed I asked for my receipt. When it did she said the car wash is closed. Thanks for putting the sign up, either youre too lazy to open it and put the sign up or its broken. Either way this new (Im assuming new) lady needs to go.

Used to bring my car there and went there today for an oil change off of the promotion punch card I bought. They honored it last time and now they say it is expired. Service man was a complete jerk to the point that even if they would honor it, I would not bring my car there again. Cant believe how rude he was about everything. Fine if is expired but he acted like I was supposed to know that. Then he tried to quote me $38 for an oil change. $38 for a gas station oil change? Really? Get real.

Been a customer for 25 years at this gas station. The problems started recently (last year or so) with a high turnover of cashiers. Ive been double charged for items 2 or 3 times in the last year. They will mess up ringing it up, and tell you to re swipe your card despite the fact it says approved on the card reader. Today I went in for a 9 dollar item and they told me to swipe again. I was charged both 90 dollars, and then 9 dollars for the item. Now I have to dispute it with my bank and wait up to 10 days to get my 90 bucks back. They have lost a long time customer as of today.

I wish I had read these reviews before going to Maple Grove BP for a routine oil change. Even though I was not experiencing any problems and had only 70,000 miles on my car, the technican convinced me that I needed new struts or I could damage my car. After the struts were replaced I noticed no difference in my car.The next time I went back for an oil change, the technician tried to get me to spend another $1,000 because my power steering fluid was allegedly leaking. I got a second opinion and my power steering fluid is just fine. Most expensive oil changes Ive ever had because they try to sell me something each time I go there. I will not be going for a 3rd time.

I used to use these guys almost exclusively until I had my most recent car trouble. I brought it in and they claimed I had a faulty alternator AND battery, which I sadly cannot confirm nor deny. What I know for sure is that they attempted to charge me almost $300 for an alternator which I found I could get myself for half that. I didnt want to use my AAA twice so soon to bring it somewhere else so I gave them an alternator I bought myself and they did the repair. I will never bring my car here again and will advice all my friends and relatives to steer clear.

A few years ago I found out that I could completely trust Maple Grove BP for being honest while even one of the service guys called another shop I had been bringing my car to, to tell them that they have been taking advantage of me. Well, apparently Maple Grove BP is under new management and has new service techs. I brought my car in for a few simple things; an alignment and tire rotation. I was told it could be my suspension and that they would be checking into that. I really didnt feel that was the case and commented that Im sure its not since my car is a Toyota Camry that is only 5 years old and has 80,000 miles on it. When I got the phone call, I was told that it would be useless doing the tire rotation and alignment since my struts were worn and needed to be replaced for a total of almost $2400!I decided to take my car elsewhere and get a 2nd opinion. I ended up taking it to a trusted place I had heard about through a family member. They couldnt believe what they were looking at when I showed them the paperwork, and said that they are half the price! This shop also told me they see this all the time. They called me later and said there is absolutely nothing wrong with your car! Not only were they honest, but they didnt even want to charge me for looking at my car! For the first time, I said run my card...this was so worth it. So, instead of paying almost $2400, I paid $20. By the way, Im referring Hoover Wheel Alignment on Lowry Ave. in Mpls. Im sure Im not the only person that Maple Grove BP has lied to, and Im sure Im not the last! They have just lost a ton of business because now Ive shared my story with everyone!

I have a Tahoe that needed an alternator belt and and a/c belt replaced. I thought I needed an alternator too. They charged me $35 for the diagnostic test & wanted to charge me $709 for the work😲! I got my truck back, witnessing what they wanting to charge me for parts and labor. I eventually went and got the parts for half the price and went back to ask how much for labor. Diagnostic test receipt showed that they wanted to charge $62(x2) for maintenance right. They quoted me a price of $183 so I just went and got the work done. Upon doing the work, they claimed the brand spanking new alternator that I bought was fautly and they wanted to charge me again for having another one put in. $70! It was petty and when I corrected him, he was willing to correct the price ??? I immediately told them to put the old alternator in and I will get the new one checked out. Surprisingly when I got there to pay for the belt replacement, they told me that the old alternator is working fine but the new one was smoking. They charged me $132, I left and went back to the part store. The part store personally showed me on their machine that the alternator had no flaws at all. This shop will get over on you people! If I was ignorant and just complied with their work, I would have came out of $709, instead of $167😕 I was directed to go to the Aamco shop in the area instead. I wouldnt go back, even for a couponed oil change👎🏿

FRAUD warning to anyone contemplating using Maple Grove BPs Service Center, whom Im in the process of suing. They performed a pre-purchase car inspection, which my purchase was contingent on, and gave it a clean bill of health but actually required $3700 worth of required and recommended work.They never actually inspected the vehicle - lieing about their services provided, the shape of the car and level of work needed. The car was purchased, later inspected and found to need that additional work.They have no inspection report on file from my service, nor service notes in the system and absolutely no detail on the receipt. They refuse to acknowledge their negligence, incompetence or deceit and refuse to cover the costs of the work they failed to identify and should have.I highly recommend you save yourself any future trouble and opt for another local mechanic whos more skilled and trustworthy. Im sure my experience with them isnt unique and will continue to happen so long as they dont take responsibility for their actions.

Was sexually harassed while working here by my manager. When brought HR no one ever replied to me or did anything but fire me for whatever reason they could find. Wasnt the only person that this happened to either. This place is a joke.
