Just stopped by this store to pick up a kit to charge the AC in my Subaru Impreza. As I was wondering the aisles looking for the kit, Alex greeted me. I mentioned to him what I was looking for and he guided me over to where the kits were on display. He asked the make of the car and if I had it checked prior to my visit. I said no. He proceeded to obtain a test hose and asked to see the vehicle. He checked the pressure of my AC system and told me it was over pressurized. He explained that buying a kit would only be a short term solution and that I needed to go to a mechanic and have the system bled of the air and recharged with refrigerant. I thanked him for his advice and appreciated him taking the time to explain the situation and his willingness to test the system. He could have just sold me the kit and moved on to the next customer. Thank you Alex for your great customer service.

I had such a wonderful experience the last time I went to this shop. The man who helped me - Pierre - was so incredible, patient, and knowledge. I was getting my battery replaced, and he took the time to provide some education in addition to the install. I left with a brand new battery and really helpful knowledge that will help me in making the right choices for my car in the future. Really wonderful service!

Auto parts are a necessity that I hate but auto zones is great they know more than I do lol 😆 🙃

Had what I wanted at a reasonable price. Counter guy was helpful. There never seems to be too many people there. I never have to wait very long.

The team at this Auto Parts Store is always reliable. Theyre also very good when it comes to returns. Overall good workers and good parts to choose from if youre not a car person or mechanically inclined, they will help you and explain things for you.

Always stocked well, coupons available when you order parts online. The only thing I would say that needs improvement is some of the staff towards female customers. Im knowledgeable about my car and I know what light bulbs I needed but the guy at the register made my 2 minute transaction into 10mins. Color of the light bulb didnt matter I was replacing them even his co-worker looked at him weird. The hours for the store does need an update online.

There is a young man by the name of Alex. He is a breath of fresh air because he does his job properly and engages every single customer his customer service skills are a 10 out of 10. It is worth coming to this store even if just getting information and not buying anything to come to get help for anything car related.i used to go to Auto zone I will not be going anymore I will be going to advance auto parts because Alex is the sales associate/representative

Met an unprofessional team and manager (Fernando A.) at this location. I was explicitly told these ramps would work for the make and model of my vehicle. Upon attempting to return, they called me a liar and stated that I couldnt return the item since my car (upon trying to use the ramps) scuffed them. Quite ridiculous given I was told they would work for my car and upon attempt, they did not fit. Opened a dispute with my credit card company.

Didn’t like this place. They gave me the wrong pads for my car, then told me they couldn’t take them back because the pads were “gunked up”No one here knows anything about cars.

This place has great customer service. But they have failed to update their business hours on the website, due to Covid-19. You only find out they closed at a certain time after you see it posted on the door of the business. Besides that everything else is great. As soon as I see an update I will change the star rating to 5.

Called the store and was put on hold for thirty minutes. Drove to the store and was still on hold when I walked in. The help was excellent. The manager was playing with her phone. She was the one who put me on hold. The guy that help me was great.

I bought a battery there last June. It would no longer hold a full charge. I drove to the store, told the manager, and he took out the battery, put in a new one and that was that.

The manger of the store was really rude to me and did not seem to care about what I may have needed. It seemed like helping me was a unwanted chore for her, they should consider who they hire as managers in some of these companies. The young lady who was an associate ended up helping me, she was very kind and had a great personality thats why I did not just walk out.

Excellent staff, extremely accommodating and helpful. They installed windshield wipers on our sons car which were fairly tricky.This facility is in South Orange, New Jersey and we live in Florida. I am pleased with the service here in Florida but Well Service here is good it does not top what these 2 associates did for us.

Took 15 minutes for the staff to find a piece I had ordered the day before which was sitting in their received stock... the auto pro who was searching had to wait to ask how to find it while 2 employees completed a personal conversation... meanwhile their were other customers waiting on the sales floor to be rung up... the 2nd employee came up only when a customer she recognized came in and immediately helped him out

Great place for parts on the go! Drop in for something as small as a washer or as large as an axle. Either way youre covered! Sometimes you have a small wait, but worth it for those emergency repair needs. Most parts are in stock and ready to go. Clean store and friendly staff.

This place is one of the really good ones. I originally came here because its very close to my job. I keep coming here because everyone Ive dealt with (currently 6 different people) has not only been knowledgeable, but friendly, and helpful as well. If you go, youll see!

Good place to get parts for your vehicle and in most cases, you will find what you are looking for even when the other parts stores dont carry what you are looking for. They are knowledgeable and helpful to make sure you get what you need.

The place is new and very clean. The gentleman helping me was very nice and helpful. There was a girl employee and she was rude! As hes helping me, shes asking him to help her empty the garbage at that second! She saw he was with a customer. She also had some loud obnoxious music playing on a device, Im assuming it was her phone. If it wasnt for her rude behavior I would give this place 5 stars!

I needed a fuse for my car, I sent a young boy in to ask for it. The person behind the counter told him, it wasnt a item that was behind the counter. If you send a young boy in and he went up to the corner to asked about a fuse. If you know hes young and dont where it is. Why wouldnt you show him, where from behind the counter where to retrieve it. He can back to my car, because he didnt know where to retrieve it. They lossed a customer, because she did extend yourself to the customer.🤔

It was a snowstorm and I needed a windshield wiper blade. Not only were they helpful with providing the size I needed but the gentleman came outside in a blizzard to replace it for me without me having to ask. Kudos to the staff

Had an issue recharging the AC in my Mini Cooper on 9/14/18. In a nutshell I couldnt find the Low recharging point for the can of recharge Id purchased. I went in to exchange it for another can that was more expensive but the clerk informed me that I was using the wrong port. It then clicked that Id read that exact info on one of the forums Id been researching and it reminded me to go back and check again. My car is used so when I went back under the hood I realized the plastic stem holding it in place had broken and the port was hidden under the weather seal near my radiator fan. Long story short, I got the AC recharged and its back to normal now. I didnt get the guys name but if youre reading this Im happy you intervened, even though it meant losing out on an upsell. This type of honest salesmanship is much appreciated and Im happy you probed enough to find out what was going on instead of just taking my money. The Autozone down Springfield Ave wouldnt have been this helpful and Ill continue to patronize your business based on that. Didnt get your name but thanks bro, hope they give you a raise!

Went to the one on Springfield Ave in Maplewood... they sold me a refurbished alternator at full price which I thought was new (because they didn’t say anything) and it didn’t work... blew out 4 fuses .. changed the battery, had to tow the car, pay a mechanic to fix the problem and went to the store to let them know... manager said it wasn’t their problem... I should call the manufacturer and deal with them...all in all a 20 minute job cost me nearly $400 and 3 days ...will not be shopping there again

I Visited This Store Last Night Around 7:40 Pm, Had A Very Rude & Bad Experience With One Of The Females Worker There..Was Unable To Return Items I Bought & No Longer Needed With The Recipet On Hand, She Was Telling Me That The System Wont Let Her Process The Return Because It Was Closer To Their Closing Hours Which Was A BS From Her Just Another Lazy Worker Rushing To Get Home Or Not Doing Their Job.
