Update: we canceled the sell. Mary was kind enough to do that. Adding one star. Not buying a MINI today.Original: If there was another MINI dealership within in 200 miles, I would have walked out and gone there. The sales people were good. Neil and Bill were great. Bill was put in an awkward situation and was very professional. But their finance person, Mary, from the beginning was rude and pushed back on everything we suggested. She acted like it was our fault that we didn’t bring proof of residency with us, but she didn’t tell us we needed it when we set the appointment up with her. We wanted to use outside financing and she acted like it would take a week to get it to go through. If she had mentioned it the day before we could have brought the paperwork with us. We gave her proof of financing and she refused to let us take the car. I have never had this much trouble with buying a car and I buy one every 1-2 years. Contemplating on canceling the sell.
Great service, great staff. Id send people I liked there! = )
Great service department!! Definitely will be using them again.
They let me charge my car there for free. My car is a Chevy Volt.
I am blown away by this MINI dealership, easily the best I have ever encountered. Arman is the real deal and I am so impressed by their amazing customer service. Wish this was the standard everywhere.
Went to this Mini for an oil change and air filter replacement. Service was fast, friendly, and affordable. Arman the Service Advisor I worked with was very helpful in explaining the services I needed as well as the prices. Will definitely be back in the future for my Minis maintenance!
Sam was our salesmen, they really sell a great quality used vehicle at a great price
Although service was closed- on Saturday- the sales person was very helpful with advice and directionsKudos!
Everyone is very helpful there. Would recommend this dealership.
GREAT SERVICE! THANKS ARMAN DZAFIC! Late on this one. I was traveling with my daughter to UT to start her PHD Internship. We broke down in East St. Louis and could not find anyone to help us out. Arman got us in and turned around despite not having the part in less than 24 hours and faster than promised. We got a loaner which saved time, stress, and money. Went above and beyond which seems rare these days. To Armans Superiors kudos to this guy. You have a great one. To Arman Thank you! To potential customers of service department proceed worry free!
The people here are great! The service department is always ready to go when I show up, and the sales department are very helpful and polite. Great place to call my MINI Home!
Service area was nice. Great customer service!!
Customer Service and mechanics are top of the line awesome. Problem is I see them way to often.
Very helpful workers with wonderful attitudes.
I will give both sides of the coin: Own a 2009 mini cooper and bought it brand new at Mini of St Louis, my advice to anyone considering buying a Mini is just dont : after 147000 miles and having almost always serviced at the dealership, i am plagued with tons of problems that are worth more than the cost of the car: example : the buttons on both key fobs fell off after 9 years or so. The CAT converter will have to be replaced. The back seal leaked oil. The vacuum pump leaked oil. The water pump had to be replaced. The spark plugs had to be changed three times. The end result of all this is that now to pass the state emissions inspections i pretty much have to end up spending more money than what the car is worth . However...despite all that the car is fun to drive and the service lately has been great since they fixed most of the oil leaks the car had ! Also the service provides a rental for free so you dont need to be without a car in the meantime :)
Very good experience. As a DIY mechanic I needed some programing done they did that without extra repair pushes they understood that I was doing the mini as a hobby thanks for the excellent service and free car wash
Absolutely wonderful! Kate and Mary are so kind and helpful!
The best customer service in stl.
Quiet, used the EV charger without a problem!
I bought my first Mini here in 2004. Im on my third Mini from here ( spouse and I each drive one of them). Over the years service has waxed and waned, from good to ok. Current service manager is excellent. Hands on and involved. Bought most recent car in 2017. Sales person, who is still there, is the best of the three Ive dealt with over the years. And I have loved all three of my Minis.
Fast, efficient and relatively affordable.
I went to Mini of St. Louis for an emissions, and IO/OD inspection. I was surprised by how professional the service staff is, specially by Mr Arman Dzafic. He explained in a clear way the diagnosis process to determine what is required to fix some issues on our car. Apart from that he was super kind, patient and diligent! They gave me a great loaner car for 24h for the inspection that would take about 2 hours and after I picked up our car I noticed that they had changed some parts that were deteriorated. I did not request that at all and they did all under the cars warranty, that was wonderful! Would definitely recommend!
After 2 week of the purchase f my Clubman, I came here to fix front steering wheel adjustment. They said I should pay $75 diagnosis fee. Its a brand new car, and it is under warranty. Worst service
We have been looking at cars for months. After a nudge from a friend we went to Mini Cooper of St Louis. This was by far the best car buying experience I have ever encountered. Dustin was great to work with and Mary was very professional. I highly recommend anyone in the market for a new or used car stop by and experience excellent service.
Went to get my oil changed and wipers replaced only because they had a deal for it or i would of done it myself (this was my first mistake). This ended up being one of the longest oil change ive ever witnessed. That wasn’t my main problem though, the folks i had to talked were pretty condescending to me. As a college student (automotive engineering major) people on the industry assume you dont know much, so it didnt bother me that much. But the final nail in the coffin was while waiting in the lobby i heard my car start (aftermarket exhaust) followed by at least 2-3 minutes of someone revving my car in neutral. Me being at most 10 feet from the service desk, could then hear the guy who was revving my car walk up to the desk and start making jokes about my car and what ive done to it. This was by far the worst experience i have ever had at a dealership/service center.
Staff very friendly. Very nice waiting room, stocked with snacks and drinks. I
Weird place. Does not give good tradeins
This dealer has been great for the 6 years I have owned my Mini. Todd and his tram have been great every time I bring my car in. Would recommend.
First time at this dealership. Dropped off a Mini and will wait for a response for my repair. Was quick getting processed through Service.
The staff was very personable and helped me with every single question that i had. i looked up the prices online and found that the prices offered were all below market average, which was very pleasant to see. i got a great vehicle at a great price. i will definitely be back to trade up when i pay off my current vehicle in 4 years.
The advisor I spoke with, Dustin Summers, was knowledgeable and very helpful. He answered all of my questions honestly. For the one question he did not know the answer to, he asked other employees until he discovered the answer. I would recommend Mini of St Louis to anyone looking for a new or used car.
After many years in the auto business, sales, finance and sales manager, the most important task is to retain customers thru the service dept. ( service after the sale, not gouging for profit). This creates return customers for years. Todd Feuerhaken is hands down the most polite, straight forward, honest source of knowledge I have met in any service department. Great job on impeccable customer service every visit... and the loaner, that made it convenient.
They know everything Mini. Most automotive shops still dont know much about working on them. Mini is friendly efficient and caring
1st time at Mini Cooper St. Louis and had a phenomenal experience. Great customer service provided by Arman Dzafic really made this experience memorable. He turned a bad situation into a very positive one with his knowledge of mini coopers and his genuine care for his customers. Would recommend 11 out of 10 times! High praise for Arman.
I recently bought a beautiful mini cooper from these guys. While I was not totally familiar with the vehicle, Sam Hall took good care of me. He was sincere and not pushy from the start. He was extremely patient with all my questions and took time to explain all the gadgets and details for me. I made the purchase within a day and have been happy with the car ever since.
I bought the used car. Marry is great financial lady. She works very quick on the auto loan. Sam is awesome in sale service🙏🙏🙏
Armin is the man! MY JCW got some new shoes and is running like Usain Bolt
Great crew. Low pressure. Knowledgeable staff
The finance lady here told me I had too many credit cards out and that I should get rid of them. That a debit card works like a credit card and would build my credit. That was a bold face lie.Debit cards do not appear on your credit history or affect your credit score. When you use a debit card, the money is immediately taken out of your banking account. You are not borrowing money like you would with a credit card.
Great Experience at this dealer. We worked with Dustin Summers on purchasing a used Hyundai Sonata. Atmosphere was very relaxed. Dustin was very personable and easy to talk to. We really love the car and it was fairly priced compared to other dealers. Mary did our financing and she was great as well. She was very informative and knows her stuff. They washed the car and filled the gas tank before we drove it off the lot. Will definitely be going back to see their inventory when its time to replace the other car.
My experience with Mr. Arman Dzafic from the service department was a pleasure. He provided fantastic customer care. Always so polite and professional. Highly recommended.
I cannot say enough positive things about Mini of STL and their amazing staff. Our Motoring Advisor Bill was personable and enthusiastic about helping my fiance and I purchase one of her dream cars. Bill took the time to show us the ins and outs of the Mini we ended up going with, being sure to answer any questions that we had. Mary on the finance team was extremely helpful and informative about the choices we were offered. Not once were there any high pressure sales tactics, snobby attitudes or being pushed towards cars we didnt want just so they could make a sale. Mini of St.Louis has a customer that will continue to come back for years to come as well as recommend to friends and family.
Our experience with MINI of St. Louis has always been friendly and efficient. Both service advisors, Dave & Rick, keep us informed of repairs needed and how long our wait might be. On several occasions, loaner vehicles were provided so we can do other things while our cars are being serviced. We live 2 hours from the dealership, so the loaners have been much appreciated. We are treated more like friends, than customers at this dealership. Its a pleasure to do business with them! Weve worked with Mark (salesman) and purchased a 2014 Countryman last year. Tina, (finance) was very personable and efficient. Carrie is always smiling! Marvin greets us with a smile, too. And, Derek does a great job of giving me a shiny clean car when we leave. Thanks!
Just purchased a used Mini Countryman and I couldnt be happier with the overall buying experience here. Karen Fortune our sales associate was knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant every step of the way.Never pushy - always concerned that we were making the right decision for us. Delivery and financing was smooth and efficient. Really made me excited about owning a Mini.
Had to take my Mini in twice for repairs recently. I didn’t have an appointment either time but they still were super quick with diagnostics and the repairs. They surprised me there. Both times they went out of their way to do the best work and even find coupons to take a discount off the bill. They also let me know other recommendations for service but put no pressure on me to agree to anything I didn’t come in for. I took it as they genuinely wanted me to know how my car was running and wanted to help out in any way they could. Can’t say enough about the staff I encountered. Super friendly! Definitely put my trust in them over a maybe cheaper service shop.
I bought my car a little over 2 years ago. I love my mini now as much as I did the day I bought it. I am sure I will never buy anything other than a Mini! Steve Emerson was wonderful. He was helpful on the test drive (as I knew nothing about a Mini.) When I went to pick my car up, he showed me how to adjust everything and made sure I knew how to read and use everything. At Mini St. Louis they even licensed my car for me! I came back a few days after they received the plates and they put them on for me.I am constantly trying to talk people into getting a Mini and I fully recommend asking for Steve Emerson! He called to check on me after my purchase just to make sure things were going well, or course they were! He also called on my one and two year purchase anniversary! One time I brought my car in for some routine work and he saw that I had some work done and called after I picked up my car just to make sure everything was okay!!Please do yourself a favor and ask for Steve Emerson, make Mini St. Louis your dealership, and get yourself a new or used Mini!!!
Ive been impressed with everything about my MINI experience. From the initial purchase to the annual service visits. Everyone has been friendly, knowledgeable and professional. From the guys in the service department to the ladies who reviewed my service paperwork. Steve Emerson is my motoring advisor but hasnt had the opportunity to sell me a new MINI. Yet. He took over for someone else but when I have a question, I call or email Steve. Always takes time to help me out.I dont mind driving 100 miles (from Jefferson City MO) to St. Louis for the kind of service I get get at MINI of St. Louis. Ive recommended them when people ask me where I got my MINI. And thats where Ill buy my next one.
Bill and Mary provided the best new car purchase experience ever. Bill was great, knowledgeable, friendly and absolutely no pressure as we took 3 weeks to find the right car. None better than Mary on the business end.
First, everyone is super friendly and happy, so the place just has good energy. Then, you are surrounded by hundreds of super cute cars in any possible color combination...the choices are just endless; and finally you get to work with a professional (Karen Fortune), who is completely devoted to the product and your experience. I had a specific need and Karen made it happen with very little effort on my part. Smoothest car buying experience ever.
Dan Wirick in the service department is great. Took great care of me and made sure everything was right. Kept in close contact regarding every step and reassured me of my decisions. Definitely wont be taking the Mini anywhere else from now on.
Its a nice dealership. I took my moms car in for routine service and they were quick and professional.
Dave Joseph is someone that makes you feel comfortable and in good hands. I feel this service and computer update was competently performed.Marvin Alexander is a GENTLEMAN! So polite. My car was washed and vacuumed by Derek. Great job. Thanks to all at Mini of St Louis.
This is the best dealership for all areas I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Though I love the car I would come back here to Mini of St. Louis anyway because of the people from the guy who washes and delivers my car (Derek is huge public relations asset for Mini of St. Louis) to the service guys and the sales people. All top notch, friendly and honest. Thanks GuysNew car 2016This is a great place to buy a car. Salespeople are not on a commission and the pressure is off and the honesty is on. I have purchased 3 cars from them and the experience has always been positive. Friendly, knowledgeable and fair.
This is a tough one to do. If you want to talk about the sales staff everyone is great and very chill. No high pressure sales or anything. The actual car purchasing process was very easy. They also have some of the best porters in the area who obviously take pride in their job. Where they fall short is the service department, specifically scheduling and communication. Perhaps adding some functionality to their service website would help, but its hard to tell. If you are under warranty you need to deal with it, but if you are not I would suggest talking to one of the local independent BMW/Mini shops in town. They are pretty busy as well, but at least they keep in touch with people.
This was my first car purchase and it couldnt have gone more great. Karen saw me looking and helped me right away within minutes of browsing the lot. When the car I wanted was sold she immediately found me another one that was even better. She made sure I would be the one that would get the car and worked quickly with me so nobody else would buy it before me. She went over the car with me not once but twice so I was familiar with everything and drove it around to see how it ran. She was a pleasure to do business with. I would recommend her personally to anyone wanting a MINI. Tina then helped us in the Financial department and that went quickly and great. She was super upbeat and smiling and made it an easy process. I love MINIs and its even better when they are the best car dealership out there.
Sam took great care in showing me all of the vehicles they had available, what features they had and helped me test drive 2 of them. I had leased a Mini Countryman and wasnt sure if I was going to upgrade and they helped me make an easy decision, Neil was great as well and made sure all my paperwork was done for trade in and pricing my new vehicle. I came from out of town and was in and out within 3 hours with my new car after looking at several and asking a million questions.
Every time I visit my MINI dealership, everyone there is super friendly. Even employees who arent working directly with me greet me and treat me like a welcome guest. The facility is really nice and comfortable; I never mind waiting for my car to be serviced, even if it will take a while. The workmanship is always top-notch, and I leave happy in my healthy, beautiful, and clean car. I give them an 11!
What a great environment to buy a good quality vehicle. The employees seem to care of during and after the deal.. The owners really know how to put together a quality dealership.
Leisurely no pressure look at a used car the wife is interested in. Kate was very accommodating
Over the weekend I picked up my new 2016 Mini Cooper. This is my second mini. I am a huge fan of the car but now am a real fan of the purchase and service experience. My 2008 mini was kept in mint condition through the years by an exceptional service team. Carrie and Rick, even up to the end of the cars hand off to my son over the holiday break, offered service with a smile and a wealth of information. I am truly grateful for the assistance and their dedication.Steve Emerson is car salesman extraordinaire. With a time line on my hands for the new car delivery, holidays and hectic schedules he took the time to sit down and build my mini on line with me. He followed through without the usual car salesman push and maintained contact throughout the build and route to St.Louis. Steve knows Mini and he knows the St. Louis car sales industry. He is a true gentleman and family man.Lastly, I must mention Tina Logue. Professional, courteous and smart! Truly the best business manager I have ever had the experience of financing a new car with.Looking forward to many years of motoring and service with this exceptional team! Thank you,Kim M St. Louis
About as mellow and fun car buying experience as you could possibly have as my wife and I leased a 2015 Countryman S All4. No traditional sales games or gotchas, just lots of patience, good humor, and straight answers to direct questions. These folks get the fact that the plethora of car buying info on the Internet has fundamentally changed the car buying dynamic from a confrontational process to a cooperative one. A+++
The experience was flawless and they got my car in and out in less than 24hrs even though it needed mechanical work. The lady working in the boutique (sorry, I cant remember your name!) was super nice and kind to my 2yr old I had running around with me.All in all, I dont see me going anywhere else for my MINIs needs. A+++++
This is our second MINI and when it came time to start the process of ordering our new MINI, we were thrilled to know that we could work with our original sales person, Kate Bryan. She knows her product, is smart, and is a lot of fun to work with. Oh, and Neil Westfall was pretty amazing, too! Everything about this purchase/process was positive. Never once did we feel pressured to add or buy anything that wasnt on our wish list. Well be back when its time for our third MINI!
This is just a great place to buy and/or have your Mini serviced! Dustin is a great salesperson and Dave in service has been extremely accommodating, friendly, and professional. The waiting area is second to none and I actually look forward to visiting!
I was so delighted with every step of the buying process. Karen our salesperson went above and beyond the call of duty in helping us buy the car of my Husbands dream.I would not buy a car from anywhere else. Everyone at the dealership was professional and friendly.Karen even went on the test drive and did not mind that I stopped at my home to take a photo of the Mini in my driveway to send my husband. ( btw, it worked, when he saw that photo, he had to have that Mini)Best experience buying a car I have ever had in my life.I have now had the car for 1 year. I took it in for a oil change that we were assured would be covered. As part of our negotiations we were promised by the sales Manager that he would add on an extended warranty. When questioned when we were signing the paperwork, he assured us that it was included on another page. Boy were we stupid to trust him. I am now being told that there is no extended warranty that the sales manager who was there then and the sales person are both no longer with the company. I am very unhappy that we were lied to. We would have never agreed to the purchased price if the extended warranty was not include. Take care when purchasing from this dealership
Karen and all the staff at MINI of St Louis reminded me that buying a car from a dealership can and should be a pleasant experience. Karen helped me find the exact car I was looking for, and made the purchasing process easy and enjoyable. She made sure that all the little issues Id noticed were taken care of before I got the keys, and I was delivered a perfect 2009 MINI Cooper S. Id recommend MINI of St Louis, and specifically Karen, to anyone who wants to have as much fun buying their car, as they do driving it.
They are always so easy to work with and mind to the small details.
Sometimes it takes a professional...This is the second time in recent years that Karen has earned the privilege of my new car transaction. Her calm and straight forward demeanor is unparalleled compared to other car sales folks. As a buyer, its truly a different kind of experience to be able to ask questions, guide the sales cycle and be able to enjoy the experience versus being attacked by a bulldog whos only looking for their next commission check. We were so comfortable owning our experience that we even forgot to haggle!!!Theres another new car in our familys near future, Karen will be first in line.
First time Service Dept visitBrought my MINI to the dealership to have a door ding fixed. I was greeted before I even stepped out of my car and everyone was very friendly. My car was fixed within 30 minutes which was extremely fast, and the quality of work was great. Afterward, two employees went to lengths to find out if the service was covered under any type of warranty Id purchased because I couldnt find the paperwork and it wasnt showing up in their computer. Turns out it was. When I was taken back to my car it had been washed and vacuumed for me. This was the most painless auto repair experience Ive ever had!
Gave me the run around, ran out the clock on my warranty by saying it’s normal, they all leak oil. Just carry a jug of oil with you. The two guys at the desk are void of personality.
Mark Eversgerd was a great guy to work with on purchasing my first-ever brand-new car. I never felt any pressure, he gave me all the information I needed and was patient to explain things (sometimes more than twice) when I wasnt sure I understood. He has continued to stay in touch with me to make sure everything is continuing on smoothly with my rad little Cooper, and I couldnt be more thankful for his approachability and genuine thoughtfulness. Everyone else I interacted with through my experience was likewise awesome, and since I bought my Mini, Ive had other friends who have gone in to get their own!
We had an outstanding experience with Bill. We were from out of town and everything was ready to go when we arrived. My daughter got an outstanding CPO MINI!
This was our first experience with Mini of St. Louis. Phil Tripoli was an excellent sales person. He made buying a car effortless. From start to finish it was a pleasure to work with Phil and we will be returning customers. Everyone at Mini of St. Louis are great as well.
Steve Emerson was an excellent sales person, he was no pressure, and he made us feel like we were his friends. I would buy all my future cars from him. Tina Logue did an outstanding job finding us a loan that was a great interest rate, and she was very friendly and made the whole process go smooth! Highly recommend both of them and this dealership to you. Also, several years ago I had owned different Mini Cooper and I had all my service done at their service department, and they were always honest, and great to work with as well.
It was fine! I wanted the orange mini in the showroom!! But since I dont have a million dollars I forgot that right away!!
Being my first time at the dealership, I was somewhat hesitant, however, Gerard quickly eased any apprehension I may have had. Everyone was very kind (including making my five year old feel important). The entire experience was enjoyable. By far, the best car purchasing experience I have ever had!
Exceptionally friendly sales staff. My wife purchased a new car there and it was a pain free experience. They took an hour to show her all the features of her choice. Great experience.
Great very friendly very helpful staff
So much better than when I started with MINI ServiceI bought my mini cooper in 2009 and at first the service center was not very helpful and no one greeted me when i came into the service center and it was a mediocre to lousy experience. NOW in the last couple of years it is such a different experience. I am welcomed and someone meets me when I get out of my car. They are kind, helpful and smile which is so much better than when I started with MINI service. My car is always washed and serviced very well by DEREK whom I have never met but am so appreciative of his care of my car. He does a very good job every time I get into my vehicle I notice a difference in it being clean! The sales guy, Mark, that I originally purchased my car with is usually there and says hello to me just about every time I visit and talks to me for a few minutes to see how I am doing. The service is now outstanding compared to what it was before. I am very happy with the service now. It has been great.
Worked with Karen Fortune. Told her what I wanted and through several models, she was able to accommodate me in every way: terms, price, mo payment, options, delivery, tax-title-tag.Everyone at the Dealership is friendly and seem to go above and beyond to make buying a car an awsome & most pleasant experience. Neil & Karen are the bomb!
Arman in service is the man! See this guy for 5 star service! Thank you Arman!
They did not seem very interested in trying to work with us. They never even called us back to let us know if our credit app was approved or not. We will not ever be going back here to shop for a vehicle.
It never fails that you are asked for a repair for $500 to $1000, or more when you go in for a simple oil change....Just have your credit card ready if you own a Mini..
Ive had 4 MINIs over the years and everyone at MINI of St. Louis has been really friendly and helpful. They have always done top notch work for any maintenance Ive needed. Would definitely recommend them!
This is a very good dealer, they always take excellent care of me. I usually work with Dan Wirick he is trustworthy, knowledgeable, detail oriented.
Getting Better Each VisitI have gone to this dealership twice. During my last service visit, I was treated well. The three items that I needed to have done were completed in under two hours, and the bill was not padded with trumped up labor costs. Marvin greeted me and instructed me on what I needed to do to check in. The service adviser, Dave, was direct and clear; and the receptionist, Carrie, was very helpful in answering my questions. My car was washed and vacuumed by Derrik. I felt as if they valued my business.I also want to mention that I had a complaint concerning an earlier service trip, and Todd Feuerhaken called me personally the very next morning to try to help me resolve the concern. I appreciate the fact that he took my remarks seriously and wanted to do what he could do to help.Overall, I believe the changes that Mini of St. Louis has made in its customer service plan are positive. I do know that I feel better about my experience: if this level of service is maintained, I will definitely buy a second mini when the 2005 I am driving gives out.
The team at Mini of St. Louis was nothing but kind and helpful through the entire buying process. They were able to help me out of my last car (an older corvette) and into a sweet little Mini Cooper S.Ive dealt with a number of dealerships in the St. Louis area, and Mini Of St Louis is simply the best at what they do.
Went with a friend to pick up a car. Great Staff, super clean show room,
TLDR; Excellent customer service over the phone but underwhelming face to face experience.I had the pleasure of working with Arman D (from the Service Department) over the phone. The experience was so positive that I decided to check out the Focus ST that afternoon.(8/30)Arman was incredibly knowledgable and his level of professionalism and compassion are unparalleled. I asked multiple questions relating to manual transmissions, push to start ignitions, and e brakes. Arman was able to answer all of my questions with detailed responses that were so clear and understandable. His calm and confidence definitely put my anxieties at ease and I was actually excited about purchasing my next vehicle. Thanks, Arman! My in person experience was completely different. Yes, I came last minute and I didn’t have an appointment. Yes, it was a Friday and it was raining. When I initially walked into the showroom I was not greeted and I felt like everyone was staring at me. I was drenched and looked a mess from the rain - I get it. I had to walk up to the counter to have someone approach me, unfortunately I don’t recall their name and I never got their card. The first salesperson was condescending and told me “I’ve been driving stick longer than you’ve been alive” and that unfortunately the only people left in sales were for BMW and Mini only. I told him that I was looking for Arman after bragging about how knowledgeable he was. He then told me that people in Service don’t know anything about the specifics of cars and that my questions weren’t actually technical at all because it didn’t involve turbocharging or horsepower. He then had Sam pull the car up to the bay and I apologized for wanting a test drive in the rain. Once Sam came back he was complaining about the flooded lot and that his socks and shoes were completely drenched. Sam took my info and I was allowed to go on a test drive by myself (I was actually excited about being trusted to go solo). Sam confirmed that I had full coverage insurance and asked if I felt comfortable backing out of the bay. I came back to the lot about 10 minutes later, I thanked both gentleman for their time and told them that I was still looking at another Fiesta and Focus at other dealers. Sam gave me his card and told me that he would be in touch. Neither man took my number or my name, so I was confused with how they were going to contact me again. I guess they were going to pull my info from the test driving form. Not sure.So I have mixed feelings about my experience at Mini of STL, but I do love the car I purchased. Even though the exterior color was red, the car had more miles, and was older, I was really interested in red ST from Mini of STL. I ended up purchasing a Focus ST from Lou Fusz Ford Chesterfield the next morning.
Our sales rep was off. But very nice young lady helped us.
Absolutely the best MINI dealership in the Illinois/Missouri area! The people that work there are truly dedicated to the brand, knowledgeable and totally fun. Integrity and Pride is something that is very important to all the employees and do everything possible to make your experience awesome! They have expanded their inventory to having all makes and models of Pre-owned vehicles, and as always a great selection of New and Pre-Owned MINIs! Highly recommend!
Super nice staff in the Service department. Even though my Mini is 13 years old, I know that its in great hands. These folks really care about me and my car.
Normally, buying a new car is stressful but, with MINI, my experience was anything but that. I initiated contact with MINI by email on Monday night; got a response from MINI first thing Tuesday AM and arranged a test drive via Karen for Tues PM. Karen was informative, friendly, and flexible. Sealed the deal on Friday PM, including a more than fair price on my trade from Neil. Picked up my new ride on Saturday AM. Im excited to be part of the MINI of St. Louis family!
Drove 2 hours here for a scheduled simple repair. Set up the appointment two weeks in advance, called a couple days prior to confirm. Showed up for the appointment 15 minutes early. Waited in the waiting room 1 hour before someone came to tell me that they did not have the part in stock. There was no apology. In the past, Ive had generally good experiences here, though the prices are steep. I know that nobodys perfect, but this did sour my experience at the service center.Update: After taking the Mini to my local mechanic, he did some research on the code # for the check engine light, and discovered that there was an alternative, simpler cause for the light to be on, rather than what I was told by the dealership. He examined for this problem, found it, fixed it (which was much easier and cheaper), and problem solved! So, if the Mini service dept had done their repair, it would have been more expensive and the problem wouldnt have been fixed.
I would like to thank Karen Fortune for her assistance today. She was extremely quick with responding all my questions and very helpful. Great customer service. Thanks, Ida from GE
It is an absolute pleasure to do business with Mini of St. Louis. My car was ready in two day, and that with a whole lot of additional Mini Youifications! Mary at the front desk got me started in the right direction and was wonderful to talk to, Neil knew what I wanted done and orchestrated the perfect Mini for me, Tina was very professional in handling the finance end of the deal and Mark was able to explain all the new Mini I was unfamiliar with. I love my Mini and am having a blast driving again!
My wife and I bought a nice 2014 Mini Countryman. Sell departmentis OK, just no any bargain. The service department is not good at all. never think about customers feeling.
