The one hour wait time was worth it in the end. Dani was our tech and made our transaction go extremely smooth! She answered all our questions and concerns. It was an enjoyable experience during our time there. I highly recommend this location!

Walked around the store for half an hour without any help. I literally sat at one of their desks, and watched them help everyone else who walked in. Worked at Verizon before, and this definitely isn’t how it’s supposed to run.

We were given a 30 min wait time estimation. Unfortunately we didn’t make an appointment and chose this location because it was closest to us. We came intentionally during a time where it wouldn’t be too busy on a weekday but ended up waiting for an hour before being helped and then service took another hour and half. They even tried to talk customer into leaving by telling them it’ll be easier to purchase online and do a pick up, giving other locations they can go to, and advising them to make an appointment for another day.

Worst customer service ever.I went into this store because I had damaged my phone slightly, they told me to call in or go to the webs site. Then shoved me out the door. Then my dad had to get his replaced and they told him to file a claim before they could help him. And they pushed us out the door again.Never going back to that store.

We went there for a new phone, and left wanting to file a verbal harassment charge against the Verizon employee we met. The employee named Chris that spoke with us on May 22, 2021 at around 3 pm, was EXTREMELY OFFENSIVE and UNPROFESSIONAL. Made us feel extremely uncomfortable and literally was making light of the fact that he admitted to verbally harassing us in more ways than one. He even said come back for more harassment, see you in two weeks. Chris continued to bring up all sorts of sensitive topics, when all we wanted was a new phone. Chris even went so far as to make fun of the fact that I worked for a religious nonprofit and asked me, and I quote, what are you even contributing to society? in a condescending tone. I would hate for anyone else to have to put up with this rude and pretentious salesman.

This store is pathetic. I was the only one waiting for service but both sales reps where on lunch and wouldnt help till they where done. Had to wait 30 min for help. Both reps shouldnt go to break at the same time.

They don’t understand what an appointment is. I made an appointment for 3:00pm on 6/2. I showed up at 2:55 and checked it. I was told they were busy and I was put in que and it might be 45 min. I was told there were three people ahead of me. I asked if they all had appointments and he walked away. After 10 minutes I asked when was going to be talked to as I had another appointment I needed to get too. I was informed that there were still 3 people ahead of me. I asked again if they had appointments and he walked away again. So I asked those who were waiting and they said no they didn’t have an appointment and just walked in. After 35 minutes it was my turn and the same gentleman who didn’t have a name tag said it wasn’t fair to make people wait? I said do you understand what making an appointment means and that your manager encourages making appointment, he said he was one of the managers and he doesn’t agree with the policy and has his own policy. I asked for his name and he said “how can I help you”. I stated by saying an apology for making me wait for people who didn’t have an appointment for starters”. He said he not going to apologize as he was following his policy and doesn’t agree with the policy the other manager uses?????? I’ve been a. Verizon customer for 7 days and might not make it to 10 days. I called Verizon directly to see what the policy was and was told the nameless manager was wrong and they would open a formal complaint…..? Why make an appointment at Maplewood store? Plus I missed my other appointment because I didn’t get out in time for a question that took 5 min. to get an answer to once “it was my turn in the walk up/appointment line!!!!” Nice work Maplewood Verizon!

They did not help much. They should explain to you with a brochure service plan like a peace of paper. How its work and show you how there service you want buy or asking information. Not just tell you how it work with the service plan. With out any brochure service plan proof. What if they might lie to you a price service plan or they might not give the right service plan correct. Im not going to remember what is the service plan price. That just explain to me without any brochure paper to looking at it. Also i dont want to go back and ask them again. Like how the service work 🙄 again.

I dealt with Tou X. He was pretty welcoming for the most part. However the other sales rep was not at all and interrupted many times while he was trying to do his job.Not happy with that store at all. He was very rude and made me and my child feel uncomfortable. I tried to bring my daughter in the store after sitting in car for a while, they stopped her and told her she couldnt come in due to social distancing. Mean while there was a customer man and women and family in there. They told me it was because there situation was different and there child was younger them mine. (I felt that was awkward) they try to rush you out . While I was dealing with Tou the other sales rep who was rude came and interrupted us like I wasnt their. Go to another location or phone carrier they lack professionalism, Respect, Customer service skills and try to get you to get you to pay for extra phone plan services. You will feel unwanted and disrespected at that location. I dont know how they are still allowing that sells rep to still manage the store. Corporate needs to do something.

This is the slowest most incompetent Verizon store in the midwest !! They said the wait would be an hour, after 1 1/2 hours I asked how much longer ? was told another 15 min probably !! Not recommended at all

I was long over due for an update for my phone and wireless plan for my business. Customer service was great. I am not extremely tech savvy and Jake and the manager found out what I needed, listened to me and were patient in helping set everything up for me. I had a few questions and went back again later and the other employees were just as helpful and patient. While I was waiting for help I also observed that employees were very respectful and especially patient with their older senior citizen customers who also seemed to be as challenged in technology as I am.

I walked in and was greeted right away and they told me I would get checked in shortly as it was fairly busy, I proceeded to wait an additional 40 minutes and was never followed up with as I sat patiently and waited for other customers to be taken care of, I decided to leave because 2 new customers that came in after me were helped before I was even talked to again. Very disappointed in service, typically very good.

I had the absolute worst experience ever at this store the last time I was in there on Monday February 11 I went in to get a Apple Watch and the guy I was dealing with said he was the manager and told me they had no apple watches which is fine but the guy was absolutely the rudest individual I’ve ever met and he doesn’t seem like he should go above and beyond for his customers I feel that is terrible and he should treat his customer like there number 1 he acted like he was the most important person in side Verizon and if I could I’d give him a negative rating he was that bad worst manager I’ve ever delt with in my life!!! Big thumbs down 👎 and I hope to get better service at another Verizon won’t be coming back to your store for a while hopefully he can learn to be a manager and treat his customers better like they deserve

Dont bother making an online appointment. They will send you an appointment confirmation and then meet you at the door and tell you to call Technical Support. I wasted too much time today driving out to Maplewood after Verizon called me and confirmed my appointment. The website policy of allowing limited customers into the store actually means no customers allowed into the store even if you follow COVID-19 protocol and are wearing a mask. Just dont waste your time coming here. Multiple employees standing around doing nothing but they wont let you into the store with an appointment. Save yourself time and frustration and just call corporate customer support.

Typical cell phone store, went to buy a phone and they never heard of buying outright. The sales guy was nice but you can tell they get a lot of pressure to sell extra stuff. You wait for a half hour to just get a phone so they can try to sell you extra accessories. Never again!

Zero stars. I purchase a new iPhone 10 Xs Pro Max from this location. It turned out to be a used device that had been reported lost or stolen. The phone could not be activated. It took several phone calls and store visits to get the device replaced, and the replacement is not working properly because the number is now associated with a stolen device. Terrible customer service all around.

Wish I could say that my experience was good but it wasnt. Not great customer service. They also couldnt put a screen protector on but said they could. Then once they figured it out, there were bubbles in and then they said the bubbles would always be there and that all of screen protectors were like that. Thats totally not true of course. They need to step up.

Ordered two phones to be picked up here and ran into some difficulties with setup. Eventually realized the SIM cards were placed in the wrong phones, even though the receipts were showed what we had ordered. Simple enough fix but shouldn’t have happened in the first place.

Wow. Excellent service by the staff and in particular Victor...on a phone question/issue that I thought would never get solved. It was solved in the matter of minutes. The service was really helpful. I was trying to decide between two phones and they helped me to pick which one without being too pushy. They kept the entire exchange quick (I was expecting it would take a couple hours) and yet, I was out the door with a newly activated phone in under an hour. Will be going here again when I need a new phone!

The actual store is amazing, but our experience was not good. The layout is great. I brought my dad there to upgrade. They had an agenda outside of helping his needs. They didnt help guide his phone purchase at all and immediately offered a tablet device just for the fact that it was free. They didnt try to find a need, just get it because its free...with contract. They also offered us $100 in accessories for free, except the phones were just labeled wrong and rung up as $50 less each. They lied about the price of the phones to sell accessories. Not cool. Hope theyre better now; this was about a year ago.

We always have had great customer service here. We have talk to Scott Bain numerous times and he always gives us a ton of information and options. Verizon sales staff always know their product. We were with them for years, switched to Sprint where you never had the same sales person twice and they had limited knowledge. We went back to Verizon and have been very happy with not only Scott but the rest of the staff also.

Wireless shops are everywhere you look these days. The Verizon Store is a vastly superior Customer Experience compared to any of the local competitors in the same business. This location has a wide variety of devices and accessories available that you can get your hands on for a better feel. The staff worked together well as a team when faced with unique and obscure technical challenges with the new Wearable Tech.

We always seem like an inconvenience in this store. Its the one that is closest to us... But if we have the choice, we drive to Woodbury.There is a high enough staff turnover at this location that many people here dont seem to know whats going on or how to help. That adds to an unpleasant experience.

Rep has failed to change my plan which resulted in having no data for couple of days.Also failed to communicate back after multiple attemps to contact the store. That was not a good experience for paying customers who rely on their data for work.

Corporate store. Nothing wrong with that, but every time Ive been in there the employees are rude and completely unwilling to even lay out the pros and cons of a phone without speaking to the customer like their a child - Ive visited this store atleast 2 dozen times. The attitude towards customers seems to be totally systemic, Ive been in there with others and its always a very similar experience.The second star is because they are able to functionally perform their job if you need.

Ive been a Verizon customer for many years. I carry multiple lines for myself and my family.One of the ONLY ways I could afford to get new phones for myself and my family is the new every two program.. it allows me a new phone for as little as $1, to as much as $200 for a new model phone: With a two year contract renewal.On my last visit to this store, the salesman said that he could not offer me that deal, he said I had to get [my phone] attached to my bill in monthly payments. This way it will cost me over $450 for the device over two years.They just DOUBLED what I usually pay to get an upgraded device.Go online where you can lookup the honest price of the device you want. Dont fall for this predatory sales environment.

Employee threw out the sim card we went in with and wouldnt retrieve it from the trash in the employees only part of the store. Had to leave without it.Information provided was not accurate and couldnt undo the changes made to our account 5 minutes prior in the store with us- made us call verizon main line to fix it.0 stars.

There were six workers that day, only two was working. usually it is the asian guys. the white and the middle eastern guys just stood there and not help. i walked in and they just directed me to go to the prepaid section. i stood there for 1 hour and none of them came to help. i left the store and did not buy anything. went to a different verizon store. that one was more helpful. maplewood verizon sucks. they talk to you like you are dumb.

This store right by 694 has for YEARS treated me with respect and answered ALL my questions. If they didnt have an immediate answer, they went and found it. Im impressed that they DO NOT SHOVE PRODUCTS DOWN MY THROAT!!! This, among 100 other reasons is why our family has stayed with Verizon for the last 4 to 5 years. I could have switched. In my opinion, when you have the BEST customer service, best reception, best experiences, best warranties and best all around everything..why would I switch to a carrier that when I read the FINE PRINT on their ads..are full of BS? Its rather a no brainer.
