Really professional group of people who work very hard to ensure you have an amazing dive experience. The boat, Miss Jackie, is new and comfortable. If you want to social distance, there is plenty of room to accommodate. The experience was incredible. If you ever wanted to explore the world beneath our oceans, Dive Isla Bella is a wonderful place to start.

Nice comfortable boat, beautiful reef we went to. Courteous staff. Our 1st snuba trip and it was a little stressful on me as I had all 3 of my sons ages 16, 12, and 8 out there and again it was all of our 1st time. We had done snorkeling, but this is a whole different deal for sure. That being said, we learned a lot and are going to get dive certified before our next trip wherever that may be. I would book with these guys again if and when we are back in that area.

Phenomenal experience. Its through the resort, so you pay a premium. However, Elaine I the office is a sweetheart. Booker and Donald were our teachers and guides. My kids were both 1st time divers, those guys were great with them.Donald took pics and made a great video that he just sent to us.If you have a chance to visit them, take it.

My 2 sons and I had the pleasure of using their services doing snuba diving. The crew was excellent. Very polite, professional and very informative. Our safety was their #1 concern the entire time. We booked through Dive Isla Bella on Marathon. It was the first time my sons and I ever did any type of diving and we had a great time. Now that we got our feet wet. Next time we come back, well definitely be using them again.

Yeah it was good. Essentially you will be paying to have a business class amount of room for you and your stuff. The boat is nice and comfortable. The staff, like most places, is friendly. My wife and I payed for a snorkeling trip which was 100$ plus a mandatory gratuity of 20$. Im not sure what the gratuity was for as my wife and I received no guidance what so ever, but they did hand us some fins and suds for our mask, so, the basics. Generally this is pretty overpriced because I think they need to pay for the boat, which is nice, but you could pay half the price for the same snorkel experience and probably receive better service if you are snorkeling. Diving I cant speak to.

My daughters and I were able to take a trip on Miss Jackie. We snuba dived at two locations. This was the first time either of my daughters had tried something like this and we absolutely had a blast! The staff there were extremely accommodating, super friendly and ensured that we had the best time. They were very patient and took the time to point out some beautiful marine life during the dive. They were extremely attentive to make sure that all was going well every step of the way. I would highly recommend Dive Isla Bella to anyone looking for a fun trip with great people.

Great trip. We had 2 divers and 3 SNUBA and were able to go out on the same boat together. The crew was incredibly friendly and professional. Weather was a little spotty (wind) but they kept an eye on it and called to see if we wanted to rebook to an earlier time when weather was forecast to be a little better. May have been a little more expensive than other dive shops but well worth it in my book! Highly recommend and won’t hesitate to book again on our next trip. Thanks to all for a memorable trip for my family!

Awesome experience! My first time scuba diving and I believe this great group of people made all the difference. The whole group made sure that I felt safe and had a great time. I cannot say enough about our dive master Jake. He made sure that I knew everything I needed to know and that I felt confident at every stage of the dive. I highly recommend trying them out. You wont be disappointed.

Miss Jackie was a beautiful boat and the staff were amazing. My son was afraid to go into water and one of the staff stayed with him on boat so the rest of our family could snorkel. The reefs were better than snorkeling in the Dry Tortugas. Highly recommend this trip.

We booked a snorkel excursion thru Isla Bella resort. The actual snorkling equip and crew was great, esp Rachel she was very knowledgeable about all things aquatic! There were ton of fish in the water and they were swimming super closer us for good pix. However, we didnt get 100% for the booking fee... we didnt go very far from resort, the second snorkel location was about 100 feet from the first, then and we only had about 2.5 hrs rather than full 4 hours on the boat. I wish we had more time and better reefs to explore.Next time I will be more vocal, seems necesary to get what you pay for!

I can not really comment as far as a dive shop, however I can share our experience. On our first day at Isla Bella resort we went to the dive shop to book my sons dive certification. He was just completing his E-training. dive shop said no problem they could accommodate and get him certified. We were told to come back the next day and get him signed up. So we do and got everything signed up and were good to go. Pricing was as follows for his dive and for me to dive as well (Im already certified). Hunter Certification $ 1,237.72; 1 course diver and 1 certified diver $ 242.25 and finally 1 Course diver and 1 Certified Diver $ 242.25. Not to mention having to purchase DAN insurance to go on the dive with them. (Not saying the insurance is a bad idea- just an added cost) Everything was paid all waivers were signed and we were good to go at 1 PM the day before the dive. At 4:15 PM the owner of the shop comes in and say there is no room on the boat and calls and canceled everything. So now my 15 year old son, who was really looking forward to getting certified was really disappointed. So as a good dad I called around and was lucky enough to find Captian Hooks dive shop in Marathon at 4:45 Pm same day.Captian Hooks was super accommodating and moved things around and was able to accommodate our vacation schedule. I was shocked to find out the cost difference - For the same exact training and dives was $ 776.64. We had an amazing time on our first day of diving. There were 3 possibly 4 dive masters on a really nice boat. I highly recommend Captian Hooks! I have also been diving for over 25 years.Im not saying that Isla Bella is not dealing with a crazy world like everybody else. I should have though about diving before we got to the resort as well. However when you go through all the actions, fill out all the paper work and waivers you might think that somebody would make sure there is room in the boat for everybody to dive.So Im not - not recommending Isla Bella Dive Center. Resort and facilities were beautiful. Captian Hooks just delivered and looking forward to many more dives with son. Also see attached invoices for the dives so you can know Im not that person just out to trash somebody. It is just when you are on vacations things like this really can make a vacation very memorable in a good or bad way. Happy Diving!

The dive and crew of Miss Jackie were awesome! Elaine made sure I had all my waivers completed properly as well as recommending I take a seasick pill. I was so happy I did so that I could throughly enjoy the dive as well as the ride out to the reef. I could have stayed in the water for hours just observing the sea life and the calmness of the ocean. 😊☺️Thanks for the wonderful time and the great memory of diving on Sombrero Reef Tilden Watersports! 😍

My brother and I booked through Tildens and dove with Dive Isla Bella last Wednesday. The whole experience was great, and is probably the most visually polished dive operation Ive seen in 30+ dives. I would have appreciated if the boat wasnt offering disposable plastic water bottles, given the obvious imminent endangerment of our oceans.

We dove 4/15/21 a two tank afternoon dive. Dive Isla Bella is owned by Tildens Dive shop which is where we signed up. Tildens recommended by our local dive shop Barclays Skindiver Paradise here in ME. Sign-up all electronic on your phone but I figured it out. Costs pretty average. Met at the boat, Miss Jackie, which is a newer 46 ft Newton custom build with all the bells and whistles. Half HR ride out to Sombrero Reef where we moored in 2-3 foot chop at about 25 ft depth with true 100 ft visibility. 8 diver and |Half dozen SNUBA. Some people seasick despite provided Dramamine. Wendy our dive guide excellent and helped my wifes anxiety immensely (my wife had a couple bad dives recently). She took pictures with her Gopro for us. Saw schools of large Barracuda, schools of file fish, school, moray, many fish species, fairly good coral at I would estimate 60 percent in this legally protected reef. Lots of help on and off the boat. Seasick riders so we did a fast turn between dives to get them back in but definitely best dive I have had in a long time. Wendy, tried to do review on Tripadvisor but for some reason could not get it to drop. Highly recommend this dive outfit!

We were on our honeymoon and wanted to explore the keys via diving. With no diving experience, we opted for Snuba. Luke was our instructor. We had an incredible time; the staff and Captain were super knowledgeable, friendly, and very safety-oriented. Excellent staff, friendly, attentive and most important safe and knowledgeable about the sea, snorkeling and snuba. We had a wonderful experience in our tour even though it was a little long for me, 4 hours, it was great. But if you are prone to sea sickness a catamaran would be better, if the sea is choppy.

Scheduled a dive for myself and check out dives for friends of mine finishing their certification. Dive Isla Bella/Tilden was a great experience both for me to see some excellent fish and reef as well as observe the balance of my buddies training. They were very thorough and made sure everyone was comfortable, safe, well informed, and having fun. Look forward to diving with them again in the future! We had Larry as a captain James as the instructor, Ben, and Jay to help with everyone on board they were very knowledgeable and informative.

My husband and I took a refresher course with Dive Isla Bella on 11/10/19 with instructor Jake. My husband and I hadn’t dove for several years and needed to re-learn and brush up on our skills. We started with how to assemble our gear, and how to clear our mask and went through all major skills for scuba diving including retrieving your regulator, buoyancy control, putting on gear in the water, buddy breathing when out of air, controlled emergency sea ascent, tired diver tow, rescuing an unresponsive diver, using manual option to inflate BCD, and how to get out of water and de-gear.It was a great refresher course! Our instructor, Jake, was fantastic! He is very knowledgeable and experienced and a wonderful teacher, taking things slow and going over things we didn’t understand and answering questions. My husband and I both left the class feeling very comfortable and prepared for our next dive. We would absolutely recommend Dive Isla Bella to anyone and will be going back to dive with them again!

Staying at the Isla Bella Beach Resort we went out with Dive Isla Bella. Two bottle dives for me and snorkeling for my wife, on an outing of 3-4h.On diving the equipment is new and not bad, even if the masks did not seem tops. However the coaching / accompaniment was not super warm I think. We were 7 divers including 6 confirmed and autonomous (I am the 7th, level 1 CMAS). The organization seemed more oriented towards this type of independent clientele and diving frequently. The dive site was very nice (coral reef around an old lighthouse) with lots of fish, nice colors, and even a turtle and a ray 👍🏻By cons there were a lot of jellyfish. The club can not do anything of course, but knowing that I think they should lend thin suits or anything to protect it. For the dive it was ok but for the snorkeling it really ruined the exit, especially since we did the two dives on two sides of the same site.So I find the price quite high for the benefit, especially for the snorkeling actually ($ 65, about 120 for the scuba). Also generally a small snack is provided between two consecutive dives. Not here ! Its a detail but it also matters;)
