I havent received my glasses yet but the exam went very smoothly. The reception area is set up for social distancing. I didnt wait long for my appointment. The technicians were all friendly and helpful. Dr. Jackson was professional, thorough and explained everything very well to me. The assistant who helped me place my eye glasses order was extremely helpful,friendly,nice and even found a way to save me some money when placing my order. I cant wait to see the quality of the glasses and write an updated review.

I called with an emergency eye infection with no primary care eye physician or insurance. I was given an appointment within the hour and my visit was an affordable $76. The following day my eye was still very much infected and they were able to see me again within an hour of opening time. I was charged again but the patient service and care from front staff to physicians was fabulous! I did however wait a long time at the pharmacy for scripts, I was told they would be called in, and after an hour the pharmacy called the office to get them. I will be using this office for my regular eye care.

I saw Dr. Herman for 5 years while I went to college and he was always wonderful! And every interaction I had with Superior Eye Health was great. This is the place to go if you want to be treated like more than just another patient.

Everyone was so helpful and so kind. Dr. Jackson took the time to explain each step of the vision assessment to me as well as what the results mean. Barb helped me pick out the perfect frames. She was so fun! I typically really dislike picking out frames but my experience at Superior Eye was just that...superior. Office is very clean and welcoming. All around wonderful experience.

This was my first visit. I am so very glad I was able to get an appointment here quickly as there had been a cancellation. Every staff member I worked with was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. And my Service Dog loved them all. Best eye appointment I have had in my 75 Year life. I am so looking forward to getting my new glasses and being able to visit them again.

I seen 3 different doctors/assistants in 3 different rooms today. It took an hour and a half with my 2 year old, to walk out with no prescription and no new info. The last and main doctor was amazing, I cant remember his name but he was like a giant teddy bear and tried his best with my son but if we didnt have to wait 45 mins in tiny rooms, it could have gone differently...

Dr. Jackson is very kind and thorough. The staff is extremely kind and helpful.

I was able to get in to see Brandon (Intern) today on short notice; Brandon was very attentive and thoroughly chased down and eliminated the possibile causes to my discomfort. Brandon made me feel comfortable, explained and educated me regarding changes to my eyes. We were able to solve the irritation with an OTC eye drops before I leave on a trip Tuesday. I am grateful for the professional service.

Had a concern with an eye, called, and was able to get in to see the doc as soon as I arrived. Super friendly staff, and the doctor took the time to thoroughly explain what was going on, and how to treat it. They fixed my glasses as well. They also had a really nice selection of frames that I browsed when I was in. Seems like everything youd want out of an optometrist.

Every aspect of my exam was efficient and professional. All of the staff were pleasant. Barb tuned up a couple pairs of my older glasses and Mika helped me choose my “ cool” new ones. Dr Jackson is always a delight to work with.

Best eye doctors I’ve ever been to!

Its the first time bringing my 17-year-old to Superior eye Care. His previous eye doctor was overbooked but Superior got us in right away. They did so many tests on my child that he never got before. Like having his eyes dilated to see how healthy they are inside. They ran the whole gamut and figured out just what would help him see better. They ran like a well-oiled machine. Going from Doctor to nurse room to room. Then they made choosing the glasses so easy. Then back to the doctor to finish up. It was a lot but they did everything so smoothly. The people at Superior eye health and vision went above and beyond and they did it all so smoothly. I would highly recommend the well-trained professionals at Superior eye.

The staff are professional and well trained. However, good luck getting a copy of your Rx. Ive neen turned down twice. I would love to get my glasses there, but cannot afford their prices. Even their value packages are are too expensive. I can get 3 pair of glasses elsewhere for what they are charging or just a set of single focal lenses.

Staff is always helpful and kind. They go above and beyond to be sure there is understanding on what is to be completed each visit. I recommend them all of the time.

Brought my daughter here after countless visits to our health clinic. Got answers for our issues right away very informative and explained everything well. They handled my 4 year old little girl very well took excellent care of her and will continue to go here in the future. Recommend them highly.

A comprehensive and professional exam every time! Great customer service starting from the minute you walk through the door all the way to picking out your frames and billing.

The receptionists and therapists were extremely helpful and friendly. The doctor that I saw was professional. Where improvement can be made is in the comfort level for patients who have long appointments due to diagnosing disorders.My appointment was four hours long. I was led up the stairs, down the stairs, into one room and into another. I have generalized anxiety disorder and panic disorder with an extreme fear of doctors. The duration of my appointment, the number of staff I had to meet, rooms I had to visit, and the failing of tests was too much to handle. My blood pressure was taken (a trigger for my panic disorder) and the high reading and the suggested implant that it would be retaken after I calmed down fueled my anxiety even more. I ended up having two panic attacks and was thankful, with Covid restrictions, they let my daughter come in. The staff was nice but in a medical environment, I felt as if I was the first to have experienced anxiety in the clinic and there was no plan or techniques available to deal with my problem.Suggestions for improvement: for appointments longer than two hours, bathroom and water breaks would be a nice offering. Some clinics provide complimentary coffee. Though simple, I think this would be a nice way to not only soothe the nerves of patients who have white coat syndrome as I do, but all patients would appreciate this hospitality. Testing should come with the reminder failure isnt failure but a pathway to diagnosis. I felt failing my tests somehow was something I could control.Overall, the staff was sweet and friendly as I checked in and checked out. I obtained a diagnosis and I am pleased with that. The few changes suggested to patient care would bring the clinic up in ratings for me.

Recently moved to the area and brought my daughter here for her first eye exam. They were exceptional with her, and it was one of the best eye appointments Ive had as well. The service was timely and professional, with all the appropriate COVID mitigations. Superior Eye Health and Vision Therapy will definitely be our go to vision center as long as were in the area.

Dr. Herman was awesome!!! I’ve had seven years bringing my son into the eye doctor (since he was 2) and this was the first time he’s been able to tolerate getting his eyes dilated without a panic attack. Dr. Herman put us at ease throughout the entire visit, and the staff were professional and kind. I thought it was especially considerate that while we were waiting for my son’s eyes to dilate he had us take care of ordering glasses instead of waiting until after the appointment. Thank you!!!

I came to superior eye very nervous, I left feeling like a pampered queen. They are amazing at making one feel comfortable. I am disabled, and they worked around that, and never once did they make me feel like I was being a bother. From the time I walked into the building, until I left, everyone was so friendly, and helpful. So thankful to find a place that takes my insurance. !!!

Great attention to detail, great people, awesome place well equipped to diagnose eye issues. I would totally recommend this place for eye therapy or any other diagnosis requirements. The best part is the pictures that they take from the inside of the eyes.

I took my son in for an exam and glasses. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I learned more about my sons eyes today than Ive ever been told at an eye appointment. He is a rather fidgety and goofy guy and they were wonderful with him. Would definitely recommend.

I called this morning with a eye infection and within an hour was able to see Dr Stephen Herman, OD . Who diagnosed my problem as a Stye. He examined my eyes and prescribed an antibiotic and told what other things I can do to help with the healing process. He is a credit to his profession and is very knowledgeable and told me exactly was was going on and how to take care of it. I felt very good about my appointment with him. The whole staff at Superior Eye health is excellent. They have been looking after my eyes for many years.

I could not believe how rude the therapist was who saw my son...it disgusted me. He just turned ten a cpl weeks ago and she rejected him for therapy on the fact that he hates wearing his glasses which he told her and she said in the rudest possible way how if he hated glasses he prob wouldnt do therapy and he was so excited about it and when I told her that she said she might take him if he expresses his dedication to the program...I went along to tell the woman that he was very introverted and had social anxiety and doesnt communicate well and her answer was how well idk what to tell you communication is part of therapy..... luckily there is more than more therapist there and my youngest son sees different one tm and Im praying she is not such a for lack of a better word Karen. I will edit review when I know her specific name. And Im referring to specifically the vision therapy part because the optometrists in the vision center for general appts are amazing!!!!

My eye was irritated and I felt pressure behind my eye, along with a swollen eye lid. I was able to get a same day appointment on a Friday, and Dr. Herman diagnosed my condition and even extracted a hair on my cornea. Superior Eye Health is responsive, professional and do whatever is necessary to make the patient comfortable. I highly recommend them.

Dr Jackson diagnosed the problem quickly and wrote a new prescription for lenses and it is great to have sharp clear vision again. Highly recommend Superior Eye Care. Great and friendly staff.
