I purchased an expensive custom built PC from a third party and it arrived non-functional. After being unable to get help from the original vendor, I called John who was responsive and professional. He diagnosed the issue and gave me options on how to repair it, unfortunately they were out of my price range at this time which I mentioned to him. He charges $49.99 for consultation, but was kind enough to not charge me for the diagnostic. If/when I need PC repair in the future, I’ll definitely use JPC.

My kid dropped our touch screen flip laptop. The screen was cracked and the hard drive was messed up. After a week they called me and let me know the screen had showed up but it was cracked when they got it. So they ordered a new one right away. Got it all working. When I picked up it seemed to be running slow. So he kept it one more day to make sure it was 100%. I got a new drive installed at no extra charge and now its running like brand new. I felt like they actually cared and didnt just send me away. Will be bringing my older laptop in as well for a tune up.

Finally my laptop is working great! I had a very good experience with Johns PC when I brought my not very good HP laptop (that I didnt want to give up) and my sons Apple laptop. They were amazing. The decisions were explained in a way I could understand and their integrity was exceptional. They could have told me our laptops absolutely needed to be replaced (and they probably should be) but we arent ready and they helped up tremendously. On their website, it says they offer a free diagnostics to figure out whats wrong with your pc. I brought in my pc and they figured out that the power supply was bad, great. So I bought a new PSU from them (Which was overpriced by about $20 or more). I specifically said I wanted to install it myself so I didnt have to pay the $75/h service charge. After I picked it up, they charged me the $75 anyways and I had to put everything in myself. I called and complained and the receptionist said they would Get back to me, but they never did. Overall, Im sure that they are knowledgeable and will fix your issue. The problem here is that they are very expensive and looking to squeeze all the cash that they can from their customers.

Bought my PC from John and Chris 3 years ago after I retired. Dont have lots of money to burn on this type of thing in my retired life but love to game especially with my son. This PC has worked great and I have not had one single issue in 3 years of hard use. Looking into upgrading my video card now as the newest games are pretty intense in particular Modern Warfare remake. These guys are great and will educate you so you know what they are talking about and they are very fair, fast and just darn good people. Says alot when I have not seen them for 3 years because the original build was so good. PC cost me just a bit over $1000 and has just been amazing.

Spent a grand to fix my pc. Crashes 2-6 times before it works every time I turn it on. Then it still crashes about 30-60 mins after the first few crashes. Regret going here.And now my computer does not work anymore. Cant get to the log in screen. Thanks guys!! 1000 bucks for nothing! After an initial conversation that seemed very positive, I left a PC with Johns PC to clone the hard drive in it as a backup, nothing more. Over the next few weeks I got one excuse after another about why it wasnt done yet. I finally gave them a deadline and said I absolutely had to have it back. They said I could pick it up then.When my wife picked it up for me, they simply gave it to her and never commented on what had been done. There was no backup hard disk; only the one I had originally brought them.The next day I returned the PC to my customer to re-install on their lab instrument. After I installed it, I went to turn it on, and it wouldnt even boot to the BIOS. I started to diagnose, and found that it would boot to the BIOS if I removed the hard drive. Thats when I discovered that not only had they NOT backed up the hard drive as I requested, they actually used the wrong screws to reinstall the drive and thereby shorted out the hard drive circuit board, destroying the drive completely.It was a mistake on their part that cost me a great deal of time and money to get my customer back in operation. I called Johns PC several times to discuss it with them, but they never called me back. They have permanently lost me as a customer.

Took my computer in for a new hard drive. Johns PC had built my computer for a cost of approximately $1000.00. They quoted me a price of $600.00 and wanted to charge $250.00 just to reload Windows. I thought it was high. found a digital hard-drive for $150.00., My son told me he could install the hard-drive and reload windows because I had a sticker on the side of the machine in about 15 minutes. I went back and looked at a receipt from a PDF Program I had installed and Johns PC charged me $600.00. I found the program on the Adobe website for $300.00. I have nothing against making money but ripping people of I do have an issue with. I had also bought a Microsoft Wireless Keyboard and Mouse about two years ago and returned it to Chris about two weeks or so after I bought it for a refund. I had forgotten about it until I took my computer in for an estimate. John decided not to return my keyboard or refund my almost $100.00. John also decided to do no more business with me which I had already don so no love lost there. The fact he never refunded my purchase price is one thing but to refuse to give me back the keyboard I paid for is unacceptable. .

Condescending, rude, tells me I dont know what Im talking about, arrogant, said my components arent good when they are the newest things made, tells me i will wait three weeks for things i buy online when i already looked and its 2 day shipping, tells me my case is trash and he wont sell them but this company doesnt outsource sales or does wholesaling, bad business.

New hard drives would be necessary, requiring a complete network shutdown in my case. He advised I should upgrade Windows Server OS and SQL, since my present versions would soon be outdated. It was a good suggestion that would save time and effort in the long run. Realizing how downtime would hurt our business, John and Chris rebuilt the servers, working through the night and brought them back the following morning. They stayed throughout the day late into the evening helping to install application software, configure workstations and printers. They treated downtime as if it were their own business. I really appreciate the intense effort given on their part to get us back up and running in a timely manner. They are very knowledgeable. The network is healthy and secure now. Upon purchasing new hardware or software I seek their opinion and expertise. They put effort into understanding my need, research and offer advice, insuring a solution that is a good fit for our business. There is a difference between selling to someone and helping them. Money is too often the motivation for the first. Called him to see if he could remove and swap these pins for me (JB4 harness power wire, needed to go from one connector to the other). the harness manufacturer themselves state online these pins are swappable. this guy I called told me it isnt doable so I said I might be giving him the wrong terms (I was calling them DSUB pins, which they apparently are because after I described the connector he knew what I was talking about and I had been correct). Anyways he proceeds to tell me its probably cheaper to buy a new cable, I replied probably not in my case the other end is 4 sets of male and female plugs that interface with the ecu in my car. his response... good luck sarcastically as he hangs up on me.
