The guys at Auto Medic lived up to their name and were lifesavers for our family. The battery light for on our Honda Odyssey came on as we were driving down I-71 and (from past experience with a previous Odyssey), I knew that meant that our alternator was dead and we had just a few minutes to exit the highway safely and hopefully make it to a shop who would be able to fix us up and help us get back home to Alabama. In a frantic few minutes where 2 other shops in Mason would not be able to get us in for 2 days, Auto Medic gave us directions and told us theyd be able to get us in right away. As we pulled up, they immediately diagnosed the problem (dead alternator) and got on the phone to find a new one. Traveling with 3 kids and a dog, all of the guys were all super friendly and suggested a few places to go within walking distance to beat the heat (it was 90+ degrees out with a local air quality warning to boot). Then, they went to work on our van, and not only got the part delivered quickly, but had us out the door in under 2 hours. They even recharged our battery while they replaced the alternator to make sure we would be able to continue on our way without any further interruptions. The price was excellent, but the service and the way they took care of our family was next level. If we lived in Mason, we would be Auto Medic customers for life. As it is, we offer a very heartfelt thank you to the entire staff for a great job at a great price in great time.

My family never goes to anyone else ! They provide the two most important things when it comes to a mechanic: trustworthiness/not ripping you off, and their prices are always amazing. I have saved so much money here. Always super friendly! They also get the job so done fast i am always shocked.

We just moved to Mason and needed a mechanic immediately. This place and owner were so nice and able to help us immediately. My husband’s a mechanic but had his fingers partially amputated so he cannot do all the mechanical work anymore and he was not anxious to use a stranger and this was a good experience.

I cannot say enough good stuff about the team at auto-medic. They have helped me out tremendously on keeping my 2012 Chevy Traverse operational over the pat year.I think this is due to the fact it is locally owned and operated, as well as the fact they charge a fair price and just want satisfied customers and it doesn’t need to be an arm and a leg cost to get stuff fixed without high dealer mark-ups.

Its a relatively small operation, but they do very honest and skilled work. They will do whatever they can to stay within your budget while giving you a repair you can trust. Weve brought our junk cars to them over the years and theyve always been upfront and honest, and kept them going long past their expected lives.

Finding a mechanic you can trust is difficult. Entrusting your car to someone is hard.Its not here. Everyone is kind. They know what theyre doing and do it well. I refer all my friends that have car issues that are not under warranty. Gary is an honest small business man and excellent mechanic that believes in repeat business and stands by his work. Take your car to Auto Medic, save some money and get the problem correctly identified and fixed.

F Rated with BBB and under investigation. Dishonest. Admitted in court he doesnt know why he has stripped out oil pans all the time in his shop. Its due to his negligence. Do not go here no matter what else you read, as friends and relatives are writing most of the reviews you see to try to shout down those who have been swindled by Mr. Barnes. Go anywhere else, you will thank me

Bret was very thorough and polite in his explanation of engine swap options on a 2006 MazdaSpeed6. It was a really tough decision to make - and Bret was very patient in his explanation of the different engines available, and whether the additional engine warranty was worthwhile - or not. I would highly recommend Bret and Automedic - originally found on AngiesList as top rated, and I can see why.
