Very responsive. Called at 3:30 PM on Thursday, tech on-site with part at 9:15 AM Friday. Eric (tech) called evening before and morning of appt. Eric repaired dryer in 30 minutes on-site. He was most courteous and efficient. I have found my new appliance company for all needs! Office manager/owner was most helpful and responsive!

This company goes out on behalf of lowes warranty contracts. Its just a little after 7:30am and I am getting a phone call. I try to lookup what the number is and dont see any results in google indicating who it belongs to. I was told by lowes someone would be out today between 8am and noon for a washing machine door leak we were experiencing, so I message the number asking who it was as it tries to call again. Last thing I need is another car warranty robo call bothering me at 7:30am. Its Bill from Carolina Appliance. This was his reply to me asking who was calling, This is Bill with Carolina appliance about repairing your washer through your Lowes contract answer your phone so I can schedule a time or it will be next week. I advised he was being unprofessional and rude, I will ask for another contractor this time. His next response was Hallelujah. Ill be reaching out to lowes cooperate when they open to address this. I screenshot his response below and blacked out his number in case its his personal cell phone number for his privacy.

They showed up on time and diagnosed the problems with both appliances. They stayed in touch with me after the appointment, and then called me when the parts came in. The follow up appointment was made promptly once the parts arrived at their shop. They come out and replaced the parts and both appliances now work like new. Great job! Very happy.

Great repair company. The strings that support our dishwasher door broke. I called on a Wednesday morning and since they had the parts in stock, the job was completed by Thursday lunch. They were quick, responsive and professional!

The day started with a call from the service tech (Bill) who was very friendly and told me a 2-hour window of when he would arrive. He was on time, professional and very clear in what he was doing. He shared some stories with me as he moved through his diagnosis and repair. Would ABSOLUTELY use this company again.Five stars all the way!

DO NOT LET THIS COMPANY INTO YOUR HOME.Our home warranty company 2-10 sent Bob from Carolina Appliance Service to fix our malfunctioning clothes dryer. Bob told us it needed to be replaced. Our claim was denied by 2-10 b/c Bob told them it was “misuse and abuse” for waiting too long to get it repaired. Not sure how he came to that conclusion since we’ve only been living in our house 7 months and it just started making noises.Bob is a liar, disreputable, and rude when I talked to him on the phone.

Extremely knowledgeable and honest. My fridge was beyond repair and he did not charge me after I had a bad experience and got coned by another guy. He told me I was better off buying a new fridge since mine is from 2012. I really appreciated how honest and direct he was. I will go to him for any future repairs.

Bill Or Bob,Just wanted to let you know that I was following what LG told me to do. I have no problem paying for service; however, when you told me information t isnt in line with what LG told me I had to check with them. I am not sure why you would be offended by me calling LG as they were the one who recommended us to you guys.Also not answering call to customer and tell them to F*off and you dont want to work for them is not very professional. I called multiple times to let you know our next steps once we hear from LG but thank you for making your intent clear. Also I will put those pieces back that you took out, so dont bother to call back or stop by. I called Lowes back in November of 2020 to have my dryer repaired because it was not heating up or tumbling properly. Work order was placed and Eric the technician came out to go over what could be wrong. So as stated the dryer did not heat up and clothes were not being dried due to needing new heating element and new tumblers as i suspected. So i scheduled the service but as human beings we have things that come about and i had to r/s service a few times. Fast forward to February 28th 2021, Eric came and repaired dryer, supposedly put all new WORKING tumblers and heating element in dryer, yet here we are like 4 months later and my dryer is making a ridiculous amount of noise again and when it begins to heat up smells like its about to start a fire. I called Carolina Appliance who then told me to call LOWES and place another work order. I called Lowes over a month and a half ago and just got on the phone with someone 4 days ago who placed a work order and told me that someone from CAROLINA APPLIANCES would be giving me a call to come back out and repair dryer. The lady for Lowes stated that for some odd reason they did not see my payment in the their system. Luckily i keep records of all my purchases and went back to the day of Feb 28th and told her the amount and technician who came out and repaired my dryer. Long story short I have yet to hear from CAROLINA APPLIANCES and i have called and no one has answered my calls let alone returned them. So beware of these people b/c neither them or Lowes cares about your appliances, its all show boat for these people and i am a little annoyed with how they are conducting their business.

They are honest, trustworthy, hard-working and I appreciate their knowledge on my Samsung appliances. The #1 BEST reason I would totally recommend Carolina Appliances Service is because I just found small fragments of rubber in my washer so I called to make an appointment for them to come out and service my washer and over the phone Bob explained to me what has happened and without charging me a service call for him to come out and look at it...he told me my washer bearing has broke and it needs replacing. I wasn’t happy to hear that I have to buy a new washer BUT I’m completely stocked that Bob saved me time and money! They’ll have my business for life! Thanks Bob, you ROCK!

13 year old over the stove microwave stopped working, called, professionally dressed man came out NO fee and looked. Because he had to drop the microwave to get to the screws he needed another repair guy. He left, then call later to reschedule,. Within 48 hours of 1st trip, two guys showed up both professionally dressed. Took less than 30 minutes and it was back working. They were very polite and knowledgeable and the cost was reasonable. Will use them again when another appliance goes out.

Technician arrived on time. That is only part of this that was positive. The technician comes to the door with no face mask during a pandemic and when my wife questioned this his reply is we are not kissing are we! Then when I questioned his answer to this issue we were having over the phone he become very argumentative. The manufacturer is the issue in most cases such as this and because they are the one that pay them they make the most off of they show up and blame you. I wouldnt recommend anyone that is so fast to argue and blame normal use as the issue. Back the consumer would mean products would have to work right and service calls would go down. The nice part about reviews are they are here to help the consumers to make good choices on who to use for their service calls! Well if they are competition then they are committing fraud also because receipt has your name on it. So that being said the reflection is still on your company.

Called Lowe’s to request service on a Whirlpool range 18 months old, the steam clean isn’t working, the guy was 45 minutes late arriving and when I called him he said he had lost my ticket between 2 other tickets.Came in and within the first five minutes ask me if he could use the bathroom, never have had that happen before with anyone and later found out that is not allowed. Then he worked on the oven and waited 45 minutes for the element to heat the water, only heated briefly, very long story short he left, gave me no hint as to when or where he would be back, or what was going to be done if anything. Waited 2 days, called and some guy picked up, did not identify himself or the company, I told him what happened, he got very nasty and told me to call another company who also does Lowe’s warranty work, that is exactly what I did. He told me they did not know enough to fix my range and to call for someone else, after a few choice words from me I hung up on him and called Lowe’s and got the repair company I wanted all along. These people are pathetic and hateful and need to get out of the customer service business ASAP !

I NEVER give bad reviews, but I scheduled a service through Lowes back in on June 8th, they never came out and called and asked what wasnt working, said they would order the part. Never heard back called the end of July they said they were waiting for the part, its Oct 6th no word. So I called in and he wanted me to call back into Lowes because he would have no idea who idea who I was. Honestly the worst customer service I have ever had. He couldnt even understand why I was upset.

An awful experience overall with poor followup and incompetence on ordering a drainage hose. Simple problem to fix and still couldnt get done.Received plenty of attitude when addressing the facts with them.Stay away and look for a different repair company.

I do not know who I spoke with but I would like to personally thank you for servicing my home. I called to repair my microwave and garbage disposal and I reside in Mooresville. I currently have tenants in my home. I would like to say that this company was fair, accurate and did not try to take advantage of a minor problem. To the person who came to my home and recommended an alternate solution regarding the microwave and waived the charge for the garbage disposal due to it being an easy fix. I appreciate your honesty and will continue to use you for any other issues or concerns. You have been so far the most honest company I have ran into since renting my home. Found this company through Angies List. They responded to my inquiry in under an hour & made an appt for the next morning. Billy called me 15 minutes before he arrived and he arrived within the time slot that was set. A very pleasant man, he fixed the issue in a short time (even explained how it happened). Had issues with Samsung dryer. Bob called me right after I submitted a request through Samsung. Very happy with customer service! I had a technician here the very next morning. The tech named Mark, I believe, was very professional and fixed whatever the issue was on a spot since he came prepared and had a replacement part on him for a very REASONABLE PRICE!!!Not sure about other appliances but if you have issues with your dryer, I definitely recommend these guys.

This is very unfair I paid them $95.49 for no reason just came in to tell me I have to call the electrician didn’t do anything for my dryer he didnt bother even to check the electric cord from the dryer that all it needed to work. Terrible customer service. Will never do business with them.Called in the morning to schedule refrigerator repair service. The first call was fine, they asked basic questions about the appliance, my address and promised to call back for scheduling.Called back within the hour but the technician was extremely rude and unprofessional. I asked a question about their fees (which nobody had mentioned at this point) and the technician got very upset. He said that he was doing me a favor, trying to squeeze me in for later in the day. He mention that maybe I should look for someone cheaper.I told him that I was not concerned about the fee and that I wanted to ask a few questions first to understand their service better. Then I asked him how often they find units with compressor problems and he just lost it. He said that I should call Advanced Appliance Service (which I did and had a much better experience) and almost hung up on me.

From the moment I called, I knew I had reached out to the right company. I had tried to fix our dryer myself, and got about 80% of the way before we needed professionals to come out. I called Carolina Appliance Service and Bob helped me out with getting an appointment scheduled quickly. They came a day early to help me out. Erik, who was the tech, called about 10 minutes before he got to our place, was SO nice and wonderful to my dog too! He discovered the problem quickly and fixed it right away. Then, when another issue was discovered later in the day, he came back out for NO EXTRA CHARGE and fixed that too! We havent had a working dryer in a month - this was so quick and painless, I wish I had called when the darn thing first broke. Thank you Erik and Carolina Appliance Service! Better service than i ever expected! I called them on Tuesday morning and left message. Kevin called back within a couple of hours. Had i answered the phone, he would have come out that same day! However, i didn’t call back until late in the day. Kevin was at my house the next morning by 9:30am and had my dryer repaired and working great before 10:30 am! He had all the parts he needed on his truck. I’m not sure what the bad reviews are all about (has to have something to do with Lowe’s and warranty agreement), but both Kevin and phone personnel i spoke to were professional and very nice.

Billy assessed the needed part for our three year old refridgerator repair in a quick minute. The part needed to be ordered but that gave us time to defrost the refriderator and freezer. Bill did an excellent job fixing our refrigerator. I called our extended home service co. late on a Sunday, and he came out the next day. He immediately located the problem (a failing fan), found and ordered the part. He came back the next day with the fan.The fridge was back running properly in a few minutes. He answered all my questions, gave me good advice on keeping it running right, and did an honest and fast repair job. Were very pleased with their service.

Spoke to Bob Friday morning about our LG refrigerator said he would reach back out to us later. As i am working I see a missed call from Bob. i immediately call him back. He says the repairman was in my area and could have stopped by. I said someone will be there in ten minutes. Bob said sorry, too bad...hes gone from that area not to return until Monday. This guy never made an appointment with me. How would I know? I said I work during the day will be home at 330pm all next week. Bob said we dont work after 3pm. Extremely rude. Horrible customer service. NO STARS would be better.

I paid $106 for a bogus service call!!! I should have paid attention to the 1 star reviews!!!! I called to have an oven looked at as it was not working. The guy that came out for the service called me and said it was an electrical problem (without it EVER tripping circuit in the panel). He played with the panel switches and the oven happen to work again for a couple of months. Then it happened again, and AGAIN the circuit DID NOT TRIP. An electrician told me the oven is the problem and to repair/replace the oven.

THEY SUCK! 34 Reviews and 14 are 1 star ratingsI reached out to have an LG fridge serviced with this company and after over 4 months of back and forth communications with the owner (Bob) and his service tech (Billy), they charged me $347.00 to fix it and then wouldnt come back when told them it wasnt fixed. Bob told me that LG said they would need to replace the whole door and not just the display - but that they dont sell that door model anymore. It was bought 2 years ago!I have since had a very reliable company that has awesome customer service come out and the tech found that a part had been broke when the last guy attempted to fix the fridge.The owner has the worst customer service I have seen in a service company. He also said that they never billed me for the repair but my credit card company shows the charge.The past 8 times I have called Bob, he either doesnt answer or he picks up the phone and then hangs up on me. Unbelievable that a company like this can even keep their doors open!STAY AWAY!!!!

Amazing! Bill was AWESOME! We had an issue with our dryer. Called yesterday around 5 pm. He was here around 11 am today! Samsung gave us their number along with another company. The other company fixed our washer.......that took around 2 weeks for them to order part and all before they came out! We will call Carolina Appliance Service from now on! And we swear Bill we will not attempt to fix it ourselves so all screws will be in their proper places ;)

Just pain rude and absolutely didnt fix the problem!! Wrote the warranty paperwork in a way that would have them be brought back out instead of our dryer being recalled like it shouldve been (they were the fourth attempt at fixing it). When calling to ask about why, the man was completely rude and wouldnt explain anything except that they had come out to fix it and that was that. Worst customer service!!!

Lowes needs to drop this vendor. He didnt fix my washer. He put the same broken rubber seal back on the washer. The washer is still leaking. The technician also spilled bleach all over the carpet and did not say a word. We complained about the strong bleach smell and then he admitted that he spilled the bleach.

This is the 2nd time I have used Carolina Appliance Services. Bill has run both of my calls.The first time, about 8 months ago, he replaced the circuit board in our LG washer after determining the intermittent problem we were having. He told us how to utilize the washer while waiting on the part.This time he determined the issue on our refrigerators indoor ice dispenser was the motor and not the circuit board which was the less expensive part. I also had him replace a fan motor on our built-in oven that was squealing.The service response has been fast each time. Bill is very timely and gets the job done quickly and neatly. I would recommend them.

Gave them the benefit of the doubt- so, we called again to schedule another appointment and the gentleman was very argumentative when we attempted to schedule another appointment. I would give zero stars if I could. Terrible customer service.Technician came out today and the appointment was for tomorrow. My in-law was home who doesn’t speak English. He spent 5 min in the house and ran out. He then reported to Lowes that I have tempered with the unit and warranty is voided.I even told him over the phone that I have made sure that I had power to the electrical box so I wont be charged if my outlet is bad or I have a tripped breaker. I bought whole new Samsung set 3 months ago and paid extra 2 years of warranty, so very disappointed that the unit died and with the service from this company/tech had came along with it. no wonder he showed up the next day after I reported it if they are putting this much effort/tricks to fix it.I even have original packing tape on the unit.... terrible!!!!

Absolutely horrible service call. ONE guy came out to look at my Samsung fridge. Ive had TWO people come out from another company just to look at my microwave. How is ONE guy supposed to handle a fridge? Obviously he couldnt, and now my floor is scratched all to hell. He said hes been doing this 14 years (and somehow still hasnt learned how not to ruin peoples floors). Even worse, he ARGUED with me afterward and claimed it was somehow my fault (?!) No semblance of an apology. I tried calling the company back, but they unreachable. Avoid if at all possible.

And even then, they just ignored the request and didn’t reach out to anyone about not being able to perform the service.I’ve filed a complaint with Lowes about the company and they’re outright replacing my 5 month old $800 dryer instead of fixing it, solely because of all the time I’ve spent trying to get Carolina Appliance to my home. But this process is taking another week when I’ve already spent a week and a half trying (and failing) to get service.
