I was looking for a used Challenger with low miles. Drive auto had best deal in area. I live hour and half away. I called Daniel he was friendly and professional. When I got there he let me test drive And take the car a couple of other places needed to go. After agreeing to a good deal I purchased the car. Daniel is nice. The other guy, he has working from him doesn’t know what he is doing. Lack of information from the start. I do not like when I am giving the run around after you I did everything you said to do and then I didn’t even get the car after a lot of confusion. Communication goes along way. Not bits and pieces of information. That is not consumer friendly. I would not recommend anyone to go to this location due to lack of communication.

Trey and Daniel were very nice as was Graham Arnold, the mechanic. My experience was as follows:We arrived at Drive Auto Sales as they opened on March 26 and bought a 2006 Volvo V70 with 129,000 miles. I had been involved in a 5 car pile up on I-77 the day before and totaled my beloved 2004 Volvo V70 which had 209,000 miles. I have had Volvos for many years and drive them until they drop. There were some issues with the car which Trey agreed to fix. We trusted Trey. I drove the car back to Clover, decided to fill it up with gas before my drive back to Charleston on Easter Sunday. After filling the car, the gas flowed from it so that the gas station had to use the clean up mechanisms to make the area safe. I called my husband to drive it home as I was afraid of it. To the credit of Trey, Daniel, and Graham, they came out that night and tried to repair it, and when it was still leaking the next morning (Easter Sunday) they came and towed the car back. My husband stayed for three days in Clover to drive it back that Wednesday. Of course, we had no warranty and the deal was we could not return it which I really wanted to do after the gas flow leak.To make a long story short, since we bought the car on March 26 to the present, May 12, I have driven it fewer than 10 days. It has caused so much anxiety as it seems to run fine and then stops. It has been in the repair shop more than we have driven it, and we have spent more money than we paid for it getting it repaired as the entire computer system and the fuel system is defective. I can only imagine that there was something that happened to this car that we were not told or that Daniel and Trey did not know. We have had it in the University Volvo service department once, the Charleston Volvo service department three times, and in our local mechanics shop once. So... beware!

I responded to an ad on Craigslist. I called the number and Daniel was very responsive to my interest. He waited about an hour for me on a weekday evening to arrive to look at the car. I purchased (Jan 2014) my vehicle with a few, disclosed minor leaks, of which Daniel agreed to address for me, at no additional cost. My car came with the car fax report and an upfront disclosure of what, if any issues the car had. My transaction with Drive Auto Sales was very satisfactory!!! Please read follow up below after 6 months of owning the car.Daniel is a trustworthy person if you are looking to buy a used vehicle. We found a great van and came back a day or two later to finalize the purchase. He let us know that they had tested the engine and a light was going to come on so he made sure it was taken care of before it was permanently ours.We got a good price for a good vehicle. We felt he was open and honest with us. He was clear about the process and we felt very good about working with him. This is a man with integrity in the car business. Would do business with him again.Let me follow up now that it has been 6 months. The engine light did come on just three or four days later but it was not what we had been previously told about. This time it was the catalytic converter. Within the week, I started the engine and it roared to life eventually but made an awful ticking sound like a playing card in spokes. This sound comes and goes.We replaced a tie rod and a battery at that point. Then the first time we took it to the mountains, it made the most terrible noises and I thought for sure we werent going to make it home. After repairing one wheel bearing, supposedly the other one needs repaired as well. I am tired of sinking money into a van that should never have been sold in such condition. I cant afford to make all the repairs and it is becoming too dangerous to drive. Thousands of dollars down the toilet. Not happy.

I was looking for a great car, I worked with Trey, and Daneil. Trey was very warm and nice.Daniel on the other hand was agressive and unyeilding to accommdate me in ensuring the car is safe to drive. The car required extentive repair after seating in the lot for over 400 days.The ad was misleadind regarding the car. When I got there the car was not in the best shape.I had the car check out by a professional mechanic. The fees to fix the mechanical issues were at the cost of 1600+ .This was brought to the owners attention.The owners was not satisfied with the comments questioned the honest review from the mechanic.If you want great experience, attentive to your needs as it relates to a buying safe car. If you are looking for a great car, with minor fixing with a stamp of intergrity behind that purchase.....Buy at your own risk.....Sadly, the owner Trey called to questioned my review which was also disappointing. I have never experience such behavior from a business. What ever happened to exceptional customer.....Signed disappointed.2016
