DO NOT GO HERE.I first want to say that the owner was respectful, kind, and responsive. However, kindness is only one part of business.We bought a phone from here, and have had nothing but trouble since. It cost just as much as buying a phone new (minus the cost of the charger), so you might as well go get a new phone. He uses his own parts to repair phones but it’s dangerous.Two stories:1. I was traveling and my phone’s battery went haywire. I took it into a shop (because I was out of town I could not go to this location), and they said they had never seen anything like it before. Terrible workmanship and a terrible phone. They fix it as best they could. When I get home, it malfunctions again. The other shop said this might happen because the wiring was so messed up. I took it back into SmartPhone City, and he said he could fix it for an additional $100. I didn’t know better, so hoping this would fix the problem and weighing the fact that this option was much cheaper than buying another phone, I agreed. At this point, this phone has cost me way more than if I had just bought a new phone from my cell phone provider.2. I am traveling again and my phone screen pops open as shown in the picture below. I could not get it to close. Knowing better, I take it into my cell provider, and they told me that the situation was very dangerous because the battery has swelled. They said it could result in a small explosion. THIS IS THE NEW BATTERY THAT HE INSTALLED A FEW MONTHS BEFORE.I say all of this to make the point that this guy does not know what he is doing. He may be skilled, but it’s dangerous and didn’t work out for me. So, don’t go here. You may think you’re getting a deal, and he may win you over with kindness. But it’s not worth it. Not worth the time. Not worth the money. Poor value, poor quality. DO NOT GO HERE.

I took my NEW iPhone here to be repaired. The repair was completed. The individual who repaired my phone took something from the garbage into put my phone on as he worked, I even planned on returning for work to be done on another phone. When I got home I noticed a scratch that was not there when I brought my phone in. When I called I was told I scratched my own phone by the owner and the man in the store. I was told I left the store with the phone thus I damaged my phone on my way home. They are very careless and unprofessional. I wish I had paid the extra $20 else where. I wish I could give negative stars!!!!!!!!!!!!! TRASH STORE

Not sure who the guy was who assisted me today I should’ve got his name! I had a spur of the moment repair needed to be done on my iPhone screen and LCD.I called and got instant customer service telling me I was more than welcome to walk in and that they were able to fix my problem (keep in mind they were the only ones out of many other repair shops to tell me my LCD was broken and needed fix)I went out to the shop, walked in and told them I spoke to them on the phone and got help in seconds, was in and out of the store with a brand new screen and LCD in less than an hour! Thank you guys so much!!

I was quoted $200 at another store a couple years ago to fix the screen on my iPad Air 2 when it had one crack. Today, Smart Phone City repaired the screen (which was infinitely worse) for $160! Service was fast, friendly, and professional.

I went to a competitor to have my Samsung Galaxy Tab looked at (it wasnt turning on) andt wanted to change the battery for $100 but didnt have a battery. So I decided to check with Smartphone City to see if they had one The gentleman at smartphone City just did a hard reset on my tablet and it started working immediately. Saved me $100 and the time of waiting for the tablet to be repaired. Theyve just earned all of my future business.

Great Service! Today, it snowed in Charlotte, so the store was closed. I called and was able to get to the store. The guy came to the store out of his way, opened the store for me, and replaced my screen. My phone now feels brand new, and I am very satisfied with the service. Maybe took 5-10 minutes. I went in to get my phone screen replaced only to realize that the replacement screen was pixelated. When I called back 10 minutes after I left the store, they said the only option to get a refund is to switch out the “new” screen with my old cracked screen. I don’t know what kind of whacked out customer service that is. The store itself was not clean with leaves and unfinished floors and smelled pretty moldy. I will not be going back for sure. It was very disappointing and waste of my time and gas for me to go back to get my old screen back.

Great guys really enjoyed the overall got me in and out in under 30mins and allowed me to see different screens to try on the phone to tell the difference (very underrated feature). Also fun conversationalists too. Definitely recommend if youre looking for a cheap price to get your fun fixed!

I just dropped in (while on a bike ride) to see if my iPhone could be fixed (connector port for charging phone). I expected to be told it would cost to see if it could be fixed, similar to the policy of another repair shop near me. Not only did he look at my phone, he diagnosed and fixed the problem while I stood there (connector port needed cleaning) and did not charge a penny. I am headed back to the shop, with my wallet this time, to show my appreciation for the excellent customer service.

Excellent experience! Took an iPhone in for a charging issue and Bory quickly determined that the charging port wasnt faulty, but instead needed cleaning. He quickly cleaned the port and I was back in business (all free of charge). Anyone could of told me the port needed to be replaced and I would of paid to have it done and would have been none the wiser. The fact that he placed doing the right thing over making a quick dollar speaks to his integrity as a business owner and for this reason I will take all of my future phone repair issues to him. This guy is great! Very sincere and professional. We had a problem with our iPad and he fixed it fast, like 3 hours! A few weeks later, we had a screen issue. He looked at it and tested it for free! Unfortunately the new problem cant be reasonably fixed so we are happy knowing we tried and got a great deal on the original fix! Highly recommend!

This place has always been my go to when it comes to fixing my phones! They have always been fast and provided great results. I called to see if they could cut my sim card down for me and sure enough they took care of it for me and didnt charge me anything. On my way back home I stopped in another local chain repair store just to ask if they could and they wanted to charge me 15$ for the cut, this only solidified my loyalty and continued service with them! Apple said my phone was done for and that Ishould buy a new one. I come here, the guy tells me he can clean it quickly for a reasonble (really cheap) price. Now my phone is working fine! And most importantly I was able to save the pictures I hadnt saved when my phone got fried. Great service, would recommend to anyone. Also my phone is an iphone X, which worried me cause theyre much harder to handle, but this was no issue here.
