Great customer service from the employee who greeted me at the door. She was very quick and knowledgeable at the service I was requesting. That is a huge plus! My husband and I upgraded to two new iPhones. His was put on an order and will be here in a few days, I was able to get my phone right then. That entire process went smoothly. Until we got to transferring my data. I had a significant amount to transfer. I will say it is my fault for not backing up my data, I will 100% admit that as being my fault. We were told we could leave my traded in phone there overnight so it could back up my photos to google photos, weβd get a call the next morning (as we were in there for a while it was close to closing time) to make sure that everything was successfully moved over, and if all was well theyβd go ahead and factory reset the phone.Neither of us received a call, even though we were told the line was busy when they tried before. Neither of us had been on the phone at all. So I called myself, and told the woman that we had dealt with the night before that I did not have all of my pictures, and that only 2012-2018 was on google images and in my gallery. I told her we opted to bring our laptop in and just dump the photos onto that (yes I should have done this before) so it would be a faster process so then they could factory reset the phone.So we get to the store to do this, and we were told the manager already had completed the factory reset this morning on my traded in phone prior to anyone even contacting us about making sure I had what I needed. There were several attempts to try and get my photos recovered. None were successful. So, I lost FOUR years worth of my memories.My friends and family have saved a lot of what I have sent them, so thankfully I have some vital memories saved because they rock. Iβm past that part of the initial blow. Iβm more upset that what we were told was not done, and the run around about the signed forms. I get there are signed forms, but following through on what you said youβd do is good service and is what makes people come back. It builds trust, which we have zero trust in that place now. We feel 100% like we were just treated as a cash cow and there just for the sale. When you have an issue, they donβt seem to care.Basically what Iβm saying is save yourself the time and the headache of coming here, just drive to Champaign and go to the actual verizon store vs the authorized dealers. Also, make sure you have everything you want backed up in general before you go anywhere. We called Verizon directly about all of this, and thankfully they are taking steps to make sure we donβt go through the same thing with my husbands phone when it arrives in a few days.
Let me start by saying I do not complain about service like this very often but felt this need to be addressed. I Ordered a new screen for my daughters phone. When I came to the store to get it fixed I had to wait nearly an hour before anyone asked if I could be helped. Two gentlemen who came in after me left after a couple of minutes. I Had to wait another hour for it to be repaired. The staff should take into consideration people are busy and may just need a quick question answered or they could drop their phone off to be repaired. I lost two hours from my already busy day off. When I returned to pick my phone up I again had to wait several minutes before being helped. More people left due to this issue. It just was not a very inviting or organized environment. After this I do not believe this to be the staff fault; maybe having a more staff members up front to handle the quick issues. I will give two stars only because phone was repaired and staff are friendly.

After trying and failing to set up a new account with best buy and two other Verizon stores. Penny, at TEAM wireless, had us set up with new phones within a very short time. She was extremely friendly and personable which made the interaction so much better... cause who likes dropping that kind of money? She was also very knowledgeable and the few issues she did have another TEAM member quickly jumped in... which was only necessary once because we have a weird plan. Overall I plan to continue doing business with TEAM wireless. I can personally say that Penny was the absolute nicest and most professional employee Ive encountered in a long time.

The only criticism I wouldve is there were customers waiting and waiting to get assistance! Only two Verizon representatives were assisting people! We waited abt 15 min. But others waited longer. Morgan did great assessing our issues but hated they were kinda drowning in clients!

Highly recommend Zoe. Her patience and stayed on task super helpful. Just be aware that setting up phones is a time-consuming process and you may have to wait your turn or check back in at another time if the associates are tied up. Also weβre going through a labor shortage and thereβs just never gonna be enough people no matter where you go right now.
Danielle at matton is the only reason Im still with Verizon. Was ready to switch carriers due to bad customer service experience at Shelbyville location. Gave one last shot for Verizon at Mattoon location and had a significantly better experience. Would recommend to friends

I had a great experience at the Mattoon store with Cole as my salesman! His level of customer service was top notch! He was focused on finding me a phone that was right for me and didnt try to upsell me. He was extremely knowledgeable about all of the phones and helped me compare my options. It was extremely busy, but Cole was willing to answer all my questions and walk me through the setup process without ever making me feel rushed. This was the absolute best phone buying experience Ive ever had, not because of the phone, but because of Coles willingness to go out of his way to make sure it was a great experience!

I got an a42 g phone because they said it was 2 months old. It was released in 2020. A week ago I was told I would be grandfathered into the unlimited plan and pay same amount of s21 ultra plus as I do now, 50 more. Im more frustrated I was told incorrect information about phone but Im hopeful something can be worked out today.UPDATE:Yesterday I was told that I would have to be charged a 35 dollar restocking fee if I dont want the phone that was ordered. I ordered it, based off misinformation. If I have to be charged a 35 dollar restocking fee, I will pay it, take my refund, and go to Walmart. $35 may not seem like much, but its the principal of the matter. I hope you can train your employees to have the correct information of what phones were released. The S21 phones came out in January. A cell phone company that represents Verizon, but doesnt know what their new phone is I find quite concerning for the consumer.NEW UPDATE: So, I talked with Verizon customer service and they informed me there isnt a restocking fee since the phone has not been purchased yet. Also, the mediocre phone that I was told was new wont be in until June 29th. Therefore, I cannot cancel the order until it comes into the shop. This is another thing I might contact Verizon customer service as well. I wanted a good upgraded phone like asap because my s10 plus has a crack. Now I have to wait until the end of the month to get an S21 Ultra because this phone on backorder is in limbo until the end of the month.Update: Thank you for the owner for addressing my concerns. I think the employees need training for what the newest phones are or whats older etc. Having employees know what the newest phones are and all of the different offers is whats best for the consumers and the Verizon brand as a whole.UPDATEToday Zoe was Amazon at helping me figure out all this. I love the s21 ultra and the hotspot device jetpack. It was very effective with giving my ps5 the wifi needed to run effectively.

Jaylen went above an beyond she fixed the issue with one of our lines in no time flat and was very professional an educated when informing what the issue was.
It was the sales person first week so I expected a few problems but the way I look at it is that you cant learn unless you make a mistake. The only downfall is that I got home and went to plug in my new phone and there was no charger in the box.
