My husband and I had a negative experience this morning. My husband went back to the store and spoke to the manager Jason and I have to say that I am extremely impressed on how Jason made the experience better. He is a fantastic manager and I recommend if you ever have an issue speak to him. he was very polite and understanding and went above and beyond to fix the issue.

New layout they got alot more stuff

A worker their by the name of jessy is the best worker there was when he help me get what i wanted from the store.

These guys have a great selection of just about anything here for your grocery shopping. Last time I went, I got some steaks that turned out really well on the grill. Their prices are for the most part pretty reasonable too. I recommend this place.

Good deals. Might want to teach cashiers not to criticize people buying wind chimes. Found it rude how she said they are annoying and was holding them the best we could not to make noise. Was purchasing to take to my fathers headstone. I said my dad wont mind he love to hear them..

Always love shopping here. Great deals each month and has become a staple for us. Have never had an issue with an employee, always helpful where they can be.

Only place in town that carries Daisy Cottage Cheese. Only grocery store on that side of town, so its nice when I dont want to run all the way across town, & its on my way home from work. Like the drive thru services. Its always freezing, even on the hottest summer day.

When Im nearby, I prefer to shop here over other grocers in town. This location almost always has what Im looking for, so thats helpful. However, as of late, a few of the cashiers have shooed me off, or have pointed me elsewhere to stand in line (this has happened after they just completed a transaction with another customer/theyre standing around talking to their fellow associates, not doing anything). Im not too keen on shopping at this location anymore after these experiences. Do better, Mattoon CM.

Everyone is always so nice and very helpful. When i was there yesterday, I realized I forgot my cane at home. So I got a cart from the rack. When I was done I told the cashier i needed a cart to go to my car. She went to get me a cart. She was so nice.

Helpful and friendly staff eager to help you with locating items. Also a nice variety of items. The deli is very nice. Always seem to have items on sale that I happen to be interested in.

Very nice store with friendly employees. Their deli, bakery and meat department are all very good.My only complaint is that they seem to Always run out of coupon items.

I love county mrkt. All of their meats and seafoods are fresh. There is also an area of liquor too. 1 stop shopping. They usually have weekly specials. I enjoy the seafood specials. Fresh Salmon...yummy!

This store is always clean, the staff is always friendly, and everything is easy to find. I often go there with two little boys 3 under and can still get in and out with minimal fuss. This is one store I dont mind going in when I have them with me!

Best store on that side of town. Its not the cheapest but it is convenient if you live over there. Plenty of parking spots. It has a red box machine and a lotto machine. Lots of positives to this place not very many negatives other than slightly more expensive than Wal-Mart. Best thing is without a doubt is the fruits and vegetables way better than the other stores in town.

Its a nice local little grocery store. Its not far from Broadway which is the main street of Mattoon town. And they actually have quite a fine selection of 🍸Liquors,🍷wines and 🥃spirits!

Sick of your employee parking out in customer parking in a place where people like ME like to park our NICE vehicles to keep dings out of our doors and you have an employee parking a brown Chevy truck by the cart corral at the back of the parking lot DAILY. You have EMPLOYEE PARKING for a reason and its for the convenience of your customers. PISS POOR MANAGEMENT is what it is ad I have brought it to your attention SEVERAL TIMES.

Great store clean big great selection just about anything you want

There was a County Market in my hometown that recently closed. When I was staying in Mattoon for work I came here for groceries to eat at the hotel so I wouldnt be eating out every night. Oh man...I sure missed shopping at a County Market. The prices are reasonable and the quality of the food is good. I got a strawberry rhubarb pie from the bakery section and lets just say it didnt last long! If I lived in Mattoon Id probably exclusively do my grocery shopping here.

Always open, always friendly and polite with excellent service. Prices are decent and they have recently done an excellent job n the organization and keeping fresh meat and fruits and vegetables checked often and displayed nicley for the best for their customers. They even have lil shoppers training carts for Lil ones. My son loves to zoom through the isles n fill up his cart.

Picked up a rose for my sweetheart 😁 They wrapped it nicely and charged a reasonable price.

Great meat and produce departments! Checkout is always great! Friendly cashiers and baggers!

They have the best jalapeno poppers! We also enjoy the twice baked potatoes.

On 5/21/20 during my visit to this store the employee in the meat department had an attitude over people asking if they had certain cuts of meat (thats part of his job) then at the checkout I watched a cashier not know how to ring up an in-store charge account and on the very next customer not know how to do a split payment ( credit/cash ).

Floral department

This grocery store has the highest prices. Its sad because its very convenient for us. I would rather drive to Aldis personally.

Best meat and produce in my opinion. And the flowers from the floral department seem to last quite a while.

Even though we are supposed to be social distancing the mangers at this location obviously havent heard the news. Instead of every other register open they had 4 closed and people stand 3 inches from each to check out. It was disappointing to say the least

Check out the produce department. Best tasting produce at any grocery store in Mattoon because they are sourcing at least some locally grown produce directly from farmers.

Better deals at Walmart but its convenient instead of dealing with a crowd
