Horrible experience, as I was on my way to check out I was ambushed by a store worker and she literally tried snatching the pants from my hands assuming I was trying to steal them. This was after I was stalked while shopping for shoes to the point where I didnt feel comfortable trying anything on or taking my time to look. Very judgemental and very disrespectful

Right now they have a huge clearance rack downstairs near the customer service desk (where the hair salon is) and their clearance prices are amazing! I found sweaters and tops from $6 to $10. Theyve got sweaters tops, pants, shoes, pajamas, Etc!

A lot of good clothes were on sale. I got some good shirts.

Terrible company, great front line associates but jcp is the very definition of corperate gluttony and greed, its no wonder they are the lowest on the totem pole. But there employees are trying there hardest to hold it together u can tell they are stretched beyond there abilities to function they all look so tired and stressed, but hey, go ahead and pay out your CEO while not paying front line associates, find and read the Financials on JCP they are an ugly company, but enjoy your grandmothers clothing and coupons while they last.

Black Friday was a blow out! The store was packed! Great deals and fast friendly service. I went with my elderly mom. And although it was impossible to keep six feet away from anyone everyone wore a mask and seemed to be aware of their proximity to each other. My mom has trouble standing for long periods yet is too stubborn to stay home or bring a walker with a seat. Thankfully i found a store employee who was more than willing to seek out a place for my mom to rest and an open register for us to be rang up quickly so that we could get out and home safely. That is great customer service! I am thankful.

Closed doors early without warning. Staff separated us from our family and forced us to exit into the parking lot, opposite side from our family. It took us several laps around the store, up and downstairs to find an employee to explain to us why doors were closed early and how to exit. Locked in at 6:52. Stores sign says closed at 7. When telling associate it was a poor practice, she said “don’t tell me” and walked away. Never, ever shopping there again. I’ve spent $1000s over the years. You lost a customer.

The stock was pretty low. Couldnt find any Jeans in my husbands size, didnt have any underwear in his size either, or the brand he likes. I actually found some in my size, but ladies underwear was lacking also.

The company is struggling to find their way in our retail arena. The store needs attention but just dont have staffing to keep it looking good. I wish them good luck.

Unfortunately,their Customer Svc. during Covid19 has been some of the WORST Ive ever recvd😖❗I drove all the way up there to p/u an Online order..waited in line..&got up to the checkout counter.The clerk didnt greet me😯was rude,&unpleasant🤨, Ripped the outer wrap ping of my pkg. to shreds..&threw mymerchandise at me😲w/out a word🤐I love the Quality, Selection, &Price point of their Clothing, Accessories,Home Dept., &Holiday Decor. For those Reasons, I continue to shop there! It is my fervent hope that theirCustomer Service returns to the High Quality level it was, before Covid19 began. I look forward to that day, &would hope they build on that😉!!!

A couple if weeks ago I went in to purchased a pillow top for my bed that was on sale. They had a display with all of the and the prices along with their sale prices. I pick up the one that I wanted for the price that I liked and proceeded to the check out. When the guy rang me up it was almost $200 more than the sale sign said. He tried to tell me I must have picked one from a different area. He couldnt help me with the issue so called his manager. I waited for almost 15 minutes until he showed up. I was getting upset with the poor customer service. But I am glad I held my cool and waited because once the manager showed up he realized the issue with the misleading sales display and advertising and ga e me an awesome deal. So although it was a very frustrating situation they fixed it

EVERY TIME (no exaggeration) I come to look at the shoes here in this store there is no new stuff coming in and also never ever organized. Little crazy they have a womens section and not a mens dedicated person to help. Maybe combine them both and make them work there department as a whole. Maybe something there manager should think about.

Its the only store that carries Liz Claiborne products at a reasonable price (That I am willing to pay). They have nice up-to-date clothing and accessories that are affordable prices for the average working people. The sales associates are friendly and ask the customers if they need help in finding anything, including if the customer is looking for a particular brand.

Normally a good place to buy inexpensive, yet well made clothing. However their customer service is awful! I brought back clothing that did not fit well, with a receipt and was treated terribly by hostile, young, inexperienced sales clerks that could nearly even speak understandable English. They need a lesson in customer service and professional and respectful manners. Also if they have a high school degree shame on our school system for graduating students who can not speak our national language.

JCPenneys has changed not quite the customer service as it was years ago. But their deals are really good just bought a purse Liz Claiborne to be exact. Marked down from $70 to $12. I was very pleased with that. Waited forever in the shoe department for someone to help but no one showed up it was a mess shoes all over the place. I did buy a pair of shoes.

Definitely my favorite place to shop for clothes. with the clearance deals on the extra 20% off if you have a JCPenneys credit card you can save a lot of money for name brand clothing (my savings with the clearance and discounts is usually around $150).They do not have very many toys, but they ones they have are pretty nice.The portrait studio does a good job and they also have valuable coupons sometimes.There is a hair salon that stays open late and has cut my sons hair to our liking a few times.You can also order items online and have them shipped directly to the store, and return them back to the store if you dont like the item(s). The Last time I shopped online I got three pairs of boots for the price of one! And all of them actually fit!

I have gotten many wonderful deals and the staff did their best to help me find and use the coupons that would make my purchases more affordable. I was able to purchase all of the groomsmens shirts for my wedding for just over $40 total. When I found out one didnt fit, they exchanged it without a problem.Great staff, great experiences and great coupons!!

I love jcpenney and all the discounts they send me. If there was one thing I would change it would be to add an electronics department that way I dont have to go to other stores for that stuff.

A 5 for the great sale items that I accidentally found. Negative 5,000 stars because of lack of staff/unfriendly staff. Was looking for several things but was unable to find any employees to help me. Found one cashier and one in the jewelry department (I was looking for a watch). The cashier was quite put out that I actually wanted her to stop unfolding new garments and ring up my purchase. The woman in the jewelry dept asked if she could help me. I said yes, that I was looking for a watch. She went to the counter behind me and stood there, arms crossed, and watched me looking at watches in the case. In silence. Creepy.

My local JCPenney (Medford) cannot figure out how to pick up the phone! I spent two hours being bounced from section to section, sent to voicemail, and being hung up on. Then left my number for a return call from a manager after FINALLY speaking to someone willing to help. All I wanted was to check an online order status. SIX HOURS later I decided to call them as the manager had not called me back. I was greeted with more attitude from workers who seemed to think I was below their jobs. I finally spoke with a new manager who answered my questions. An hour later another store representative calls me in regards to my number being left. I tell her Ive actually been helped and thank her. She got an attitude and proceeded to correct me then give me the same information. Overall a really bad experience and I will not be ordering in again. I already am hesitant of this store due to bad service in the past and this just reconfitmsit. Customer service is everything.
