Used to love Fred Meyer but this place has become overrun with homeless people and the lines at the registers are out of control. Out of multiple check stands, usually only 2 are open (even during rush hour) and the U Scan usually has a super long line. On my last trip I witnessed a homeless man walk out of the store with several unpaid items and the staff did nothing.

This is a fairly large store that carries some clothes and home items as well as food. They have a decent deli and bakery as well as serving a small variety of hot foods and sushi that you can take home or eat there in their dining area. The best thing that I experienced there was their BAR! I had never seen one at a grocery store before. There served wine and beer at reasonable prices. I had an IPA and Brandon, my bartender was a pleasure to talk to. It was just $5 for the beer and the big slice of wood fired gourmet pizza that I had for lunch was only $3.I was less impressed with their food. Just a lot of the usual suspects. Not much in the way of ethnic or gourmet. Still, their prices are good and this should be a useful destination for those with a family.

Everything you need under one roof. Fully stocked grocery store, home items, toys, clothes and shoes they have everything. The store and carts are very clean and parts of it are newly remodeled. I have a very nice produce section and offer free fruit for kids to eat while you shop. It looks like they added an aisle or two of natural groceries including gluten-free options. There is a Starbucks, pharmacy, jewelry store, floral department, cheese shop, bakery, deli, and I believe there’s even a kid watch though we have not used it. There are plenty of tables at the Starbucks inside as well as some more tables near the deli. Prices are what you’d expect from a nicer grocery store.. not as expensive as Whole Foods but more expensive than Winco.

Love this place! Excellent customer service. Sometimes the CS line is a little long and wait time not so great. However, staff is always friendly and they have great deals.

Great staff! Always helpful and accommodating. A stark contrast from my experience at the North Medford store.Their service staff is efficient and they always work hard and back each other up when the line gets big. Hats off to these folks.

Passing through, found everything I needed other than RV toilet paper. Great prices and using the Kroger app always saves us $$ and helps gas prices.

Beautiful store but they didnt remodel the bathrooms and they havent been cleaned in decades.

Simply the rudest, grumpiest, worst cashier, horrible energy and purposefully rude.I will not be returning ro overpriced, rude Fred Myers. This was my second time shopping at a Fred Myers, and I promise, I will never go back.Shop Walmart, much cheaper. Way nicer cashiers.

Amazing assortment of everything you could possibly be looking for. Store is undergoing a remodel so it was a bit hard to find some items, but a clerk was her helpful so gave 5 stars. Loved the variety of flours, bulk goods and natural products. Found a Burt s Bees gloss that havent been able to find elsewhere.

Was not over crowded. Everyone nice and helpful. I was in and out quickly.

This store is beautiful. They seem to have a high turnaround with cashiers as I rarely ever see the same people again like I do at the north fred meyer. Good selection on food. Pharmacy left me hanging a few times with miscommunication on anti nausea meds that were very important and needed for chemo treatment. I switched over to the North Medford pharmacy after that.

Apparently theyve stopped caring about mask enforcement. Saw at least half a dozen people walking around maskless last time I was there.

Always check Fred Meyer for bargains. Today found a Visio 55 inch 4K for $379. ALSO great deal on 65 inch curved.

Fresh produce with super nice and helpful staff. The deli department has wonderful options and the staff is very helpful. In fact, they they helped with my app installation on my phone for an extra discount off my bill. The checkers are hit and miss on being nice or rude.

Its a typical consumer shop it has a variety like Walmart and the same style but more spendier

And you wonder why Amazon takes the world by storm. Stores like Fred Meyer don’t even take the time to publish their change the hours and update. Huge inconvenience to go to a store when your voice recording and your website says you’re open. But guess what, you’re not! On this basis, I am done with Fred Meyer and I’m now strictly Amazon.

First I want to thank each person at Freddie’s for what they are doing now to get our orders filled & delivered so timely. I did get 3 items substituted and 2 were not acceptable only because of a very special diet (FODMAP) that had to be followed. BUT they did the very best they could to find a placement. I wish their survey allowed one to add a comment section so I could have explained. That’s my real point- need a comments area.Thanks again for going out of the way to serve your community! You are tops!!!!!!!!!!

Lousy customer service!

There is always a 30 min wait... They never have your script filled even when the phone says it is. There is always confusion on everything. Just sitting there for an extra 40 min waiting for them to fill rx that she told me verbally would be ready and I even gave it an extra hour..... Every person checking out has some sort of complication. The only place worse than this is Safeway.

When gas demand is down,oil goes down for weeks in a row on the stock market,we switch to winter blend,attacks on oil refineries are fixed within a week,oil stockpiles are high & then you keep raising gas prices to get billionaires more $ @ the expense of your average hard working customer,then I personally wont shop @ any Fred Meyer locations.Weve been waiting for relief from these prices for about 6 months,shame on you!Also you bought your oil months ago @ lower prices so its a full on scam,you are all crooks,lock them all up you NRA loving retards

Fred Meyer has great sales, good prices, weekly grocery discounts. They also have awesome clearance sales, great value and quality clothes and shoes. The best quality produce and meat locally. The employees are very helpful and friendly. Customer service is to be commended, always willing to help you with anything you need. Its one stop shopping for me. I get my prescriptions filled there too because the prices are very competitive with other pharmacies in the area and they have on file all of my allergies, which is very important to me. They also have senior discount day and REWARDS POINTS which saves me lots of money on gas. Fred Meyer is very convenient in so many ways. Why would you NOT shop there??

I love this Fred Meyer. Seriously this store is all I need, from produce to makeup and more. Its like a more ethical, cleaner, and nicer version of Walmart. They have everything! And the remodel is beautiful - wide aisles, well lit, good quality everything. Theres fresh produce, kitchen-ware, gardening supplies, clothes, and anything in-between at a decent stock amount. Their live naturally section is the best of any Ive seen. Finally I can find all my favorite things in one place. Im one happy customer :)

Pharmacy is a joke

Nice that its open til 11. Ive noticed lately that theyve joined Safeway in posting incorrect prices in the aisles. I catch it at the register and they adjust it. But I imagine Fred Meyer would be very angry that its come to this to make a profit. If you bring it to the attention of the cashier, they will ask you what you saw. So know the price, as this is what they have given me when I state it. I think they leave the sale marker out for a few more days (or weeks) but the computer updates with the normal price. I love the gas rewards so I will continue Going. Just keep your eyes open.

Loaded with food and everything else. Seems a little light on vegetables, with half being organic. Nice sales. The digital coupons leave me cold, as who has time for that?) Great selection of beer (not so much the other store, north).

I was there yesterday and several customers were browsing around the store not wearing masks.

Prices are great, but the customer service is not. Most of the cashiers are often rude, they have side conversations with other employees and act as if the customer is not there. More training needs to be done to ensure good customer experience.

Usually dont have a problem with Fred Meyers but my brother who is visiting out of state stopped to get fuel with me in his truck and he specifically asked for 92 premium grade fuel. After getting filled up he noticed the receipt said unleaded and that the price was not the same as advertised. (Sign said $3.03 for unleaded) he was charged $3.09 for it. After driving a short distance his check engine light came on. Not sure if its coincidence but will check the code later since we are out and about. Just want people to pay better attention. Not to mention he works for Fred Meyer in Washington.

Great New Year sales!

Well stocked full service retailer with grocery store, clothing, home goods, gifts, etc. & gas station with very competitive fuel prices. Common throughout southern Oregon. Part if Kroger store chain, so Kroger discount card can be used for in store specials. In store bakery. Hot deli for prepared foods was closed for renovations when we visited. Easily accessible from Interstate 5. Close to hotels, other shopping stores, restaurants & fast food.

I only order cakes from here! They make the best cakes! Try the whipped frosting.Kay and cheryl were very friendly and I know I will love the cake.

Me and my family went to Freddys for some last minute Christmas shopping. We were super excited because Santa was visiting and we havent had a good picture with him yet. After looking for a Santa, this guy was the bestest Santa weve meant. Plus, they didnt charge us for pics.

Fred Meyer always has what I need. Some things are a little pricey, but theres lots of sales too. They also have a wonderful natural foods section with their own affordable organic brand. I shop here a lot!

They have a lot of products. Prices on organic apples and other produce are high when theyre in season. Compared to other stores Freddies is twice as expensive. They dont have consistent prices with the other Fred Meyers in town. This is true for on sale and regular priced items. Since the remodel, the Starbucks is like a huge dark hole in the wall. And the bar is in the way of shopping. Cheese bar is so awesome. Dan Vigil from grocery is also awesome.

Fred Meyer is my favorite store! I do my grocery shopping through their click list, and earn fuel points. Ive been saving about 40 cents per gallon when I fill up. I love shopping online and just pulling up to have my purchase brought to my car. Im saving time and money, what could be better?

Great store. They had everything I needed. It is a bit of walking for someone with a cane but I managed fine. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Nice clean store with friendly and helpful staff. The food may be a little bit more but the environment makes it worth it (more classy than walmart). They have some of the best produce in the valley. It wont rot right when you get home. They also have everything else you need for everyday life.

I purchased gas at the best price I found in town and got a 20 cent a gallon discount from my points. I went in the store and food shopped and found the store clean and well stocked. I bought clothes for my grandaughter at sale prices.This was probably one of my best visits but i have aways found Fred Meyers to be well stocked and having a friendly, helpful staff.

Several employees wearing masks improperly, multiple customers not wearing any at all and not a single bit of enforcement. Its not hard to protect others, Freddies, I know its uncomfortable to confront others but there are literally lives at stake.

Was SUPER impressed at the remodeled structure and it;s efficient architecture. Will give them my business in the future as it was quite clean and had a nice atmosphere.

I like this Fred Meyer, its close to my house and they have stuff I need in stock. The only downside to this location I have noticed over the past few months is how many times I am asked or approached by people in the parking lot. On several occasions, people have come up behind me and startled me and my kids. Today, a guy came up to my car as I was parking and called me a few choice names for refusing to give him change. Many times I have seen people sitting by the enterance either passed out or begging for money. I am to the point I would rather shop elsewhere due to this.

Store employees super friendly and helpful. Self check out a little less than user friendly. Pharmacy technician rude and inaccurate in time estimates. First said an hour, went back over an hour, told they were finishing up, and it would be a few minutes. Waited 15 minutes, went back up, was told they were finishing up, would be 10 minutes. No more time to waste waiting, so now have to make return trip.

Now that I am more familiar with the floor plan I am able to shop in a shorter time. Also the addition of baggers at checkout cuts down on in store time. Generally very helpful staff, including personnel in produce and at cheese bar

I was told Fred Meyer has everything - and they do - with varying levels of quality. Their Natural Foods Sections is like a tiny Whole Foods. The Drug Store Make Up aisle has no bargains. Housewares is a great dept with many bargains and a wide variety of styles, colors, companies. Fun to sop for shower and house warming gifts...Clothing - weakest link. Huge bargains when they have side walk sales...we picked up a Fan to battle high temps in Medford...

This place has a bit of everything, with very fresh produce and a great deli. I love the basket they have that encourages you to take a piece of fruit out of it for your hungry child to eat while shopping. I wish more stores would follow suit. So much healthier than the usual cookies.

Freddys is still one of your better one stop shopping options. They already have an impressive selection of natural and organic foods.

Well layed out and open. Not the easiest place to navigate if youre not familiar with it. Not the same lay-out as Kaiser, but same brands and service layers. Getting coffee whilst your there is great! Didnt care for the money centre. It just felt like it was shoved in an adjacent corner. An after thought. There is a new feel to the place, however, and the seating section for their deli is clean I enjoyed the cheese bar, and it was sparkling in its presentation. Melts, blends, and categories made selecting ANY cheese a snap.

Cool store. The employees are above average there. They keep that store so clean, stocked and clearly priced that you can just glide through and relax in a well managed atmosphere.

The south Fred Myers has really stepped up their customer service. I’ve been a loyal Fred Meyer’s customer for over 20 years. I’ve shopped at both locations in Medford. South Medford is by far the most friendly and helpful to their customers. North Fred’s has gone downhill in this dept.

Since the renovations, I hate shopping at this Fred Meyer. Its large, cavernous design is poorly laid out making it difficult to find things. The green paint makes me think of my mothers old Kenmore appliances from the 70s. It feels old, odd. Their prices, especially in the meat and seafood departments, are higher than other stores in the area. They do have a gas rewards program which saves on gas purchases at their stations. And, they have a loyalty program that offers quarterly rewards. The staff, when I finally found someone, wasnt that friendly. Ill stop here if I have an urgent need or if they have a sale. Otherwise, Ill go elsewhere.

The changes are outstanding, the cheese bar, wine, beer bar. The layout of the place makes more sense, is more logical. I actually look forward to shopping now.Good job guys

Theyre nearing the end of the remodeling and have placed very friendly guides around the store to help direct you to the stores products new locations. Superb customer service and great prices for quality food and goods. My favorite grocery store in Oregon. No I dont work there or know anyone who does personally. Just a great shopping experience every time.

Ive currently been waiting in electronics for 15 minutes for an associate to unlock the glass.

Purchased canned air duster and was accused of being a huffer and Im 15yrs past the age restrictions..... I do restaurant Maintenance and refrigeration and I am EPA certified to handle and sell real refrigerant. I also use canned air for my 3D printing business I own. Never will purchase anything from Fred Meyer again.

Very clean place very helpful clerks. The store is well placed with products. The price is a little high but great service.

Finally found a deli that carries corned beef!!! Oh my goodness, Lean and flavorful corned beef cooked and ready to use.Dont forget the freebie Friday and digital coupons.

I shop here all the time and really like it. Great service, good products, fair prices. Plus the rewards card tracks your purchases for easy returns, and points/gas rewards...

They are remodeling and it was hard to find certain grocery items so my shopping trip took much longer. They have also done away with several departments which is disappointing. Im sure after its completed it will be nice, and we will get familiar with new layout, but until then I am going to shop elsewhere.

Fred Meyer has the best service in the business. I love how you roll up to the checkout line and theres somebody standing there waiting for you . They always have plenty of checkers and the place is immaculate to the finest detail. I usually dont like super stores but Fred Meyer is the exception to the rule.

I like Fred Meyer, but they screwed up designing this one. I’ve been told it was recently remodeled. They’re missing some of the departments that other Fred Meyer stores have. We avoid this location.

Uh, its a Freddys. One-stop shopping including gas station, food, clothes, pharmacy, electronics, home goods, etc. What more could you ask for if you only feel like one trip out the door? Only four stars just because its a big chain store with average customer service and frequent long lines at the gas pump, pharmacy, and service counter. However Im still in there at least once a week.

I just returned from the Center Drive Fred Meyer location in Medford. Today is Thursday October 24th 2019. I have spent more money on groceries than anything else Ive ever purchased, including homes. Fred Meyer has got the lions share of that expenditure. Today I shopped at Fred Meyer. I needed some cash back. Upon working through the prompts, right before the cash was released it said, do you accept a $0.50 service charge for cash back? I did not accept the $0.50 surcharge, and did not get cash back! I asked Lenny, the nice gentleman that works in the you check out section there, when did that start? He said yesterday, October 23rd. How greedy of Fred Meyer to tag on a 50 cent charge to getting cash back! Thats never been that way and they should remove it as soon as possible, that penny-annie 50-cent surcharge to get cash back!I will no longer ask for any cash back at Fred Meyer because Im not going to give them $0.50 of my dollars that they certainly dont deserve or earned. Imagine how many thousands of people shop at Fred Meyer a day and dont even think about it? Thats thousands of dollars of greedy cash that Fred Meyer is making that they ought not make. How dare they!No warning, just take money from customers that they didnt deserve to take! Thanks for nothing Fred Meyer. Dan

This Fridays is a Superstore. There are very few things that I have not been able to find there. They have everything from Electronics jewelry deli food and a great bakery. Ample parking but always crowded. But dont fret there are plenty of cashiers to get you out on your way. Its easy to get lost in this place but it is the closest thing to One Stop shopping youre going to find.

I was very surprised how expensive their clothes and shoes were. To me the quality was not much better than Kmart and yet they want to charge expensive store prices. A pair of shorts I liked were $60. I did not shop in the grocery Dept. so I cannot comment on those prices.

Lots of new features in their newly remodeled store. Lots of natural foods, organic fruits and vegetables and a bar for beer and wine tasting.

I love shipping at Fred Meyers. They have most everything I need and things I might want. And their sales are great

They have some good sales but most of the time their prices are a little higher. They do have some nice things though, and probably a nicer Deli and bakery area than many grocery stores.

I went to the other Fred Meyer and couldnt find what I was there for. The clerk call the other store in town and confirmed it was there before sending me across town.

A travelers dream, I can count finding exactly what I didnt anticipate needing, not to mention an in-house Starbucks or other good beverage chain, and reliably clean restrooms. On the road, I seldom pass one by and always walk out with more than my coffee. Yesterday it was very well priced organic raspberries.

Very much enjoyed the in-store bar. A vendor graciously bought a round of Kyla hard kabucha for my friends and I to try.

In town visiting. Our nearest home location is an hour away, so dont shop there, but after seeing the large selection, and the in store bar, I plan on making the trip. Bar was too crowded to try, but looked appealing. We bought a bottle of wine instead.

Newly remodeled Fred Meyers as of 2017. Best produce in the Rogue valley from a store. Well recommended for groceries.

They are doing a loy better. In the past I felt it was over priced. Now it is comparable and they offer extras other stores dont. Daycare is a great asset I use it when we Christmas shop for each other.

Some items priced real good, better then Wico. New store layout. Fastest self checkout machines.

The parking lot is a huge hastle but the remodel looks promising. Above average prices on groceries with more home goods than a regular grocery store if you are unfamiliar with the chain. Looks like theyre going more towards just groceries. Wide selection of frozen snacks!

Have always loved shopping at Fred Meyers and would rate it a 5 BUT today I could not and am sorry but I wouldnt recommend it to anyone who is handicapped, as I now am, and dependent on the handicap carts. This was my second time at FM South Medford where the cart I used was not functioning properly and the sudden jerking stops proved very painful. Fortunately I was with my husband and we had a very short list we needed. I could tolerate it for that brief a time and let him know I no longer wanted to look around at anything else as originally planned. Please fix these so that those of us who need them can enjoy shopping there again as much as we did before becoming handicapped.

Terrible! Store is not Handicap Friendly! First time shopping during the holidays at the redesigned store. While riding store scooter I couldn’t get through the racks in the clothing departments. The isles were cluttered with Christmas display items ans sale pop ups. Very disappointing! Fred Meyer was once a lovely experience.

23 mins before closing they refused to allow me to try on a couple tops and sports bras. They werent very busy a lot of employees talking to each other or walking around cleaning up. One of those times when you ran into a lot of employees and only a few customers. I was informed they cant let anyone try anything on if it is less than 30 mins before closing. I was then told they couldnt hold items for me if they were on clearance. So why did employees assist me in locating clearance sportswear and not inform me I would not be able to try anything on?

Good place to shop. Some prices are a bit high but the overall experience is good. Big variety to choose from.
