This place has all sorts of gadgets that your grandma used for cooking. I found a flour sifter for $6.95!! The exact same one sells online from WalMart for $12.99. Its easy to want to buy everything there. Pastry cutter, canning items, pots & pans. Upstairs is full of gardening supplies. Even have a old school push mower (reel mower) that we bought for our small city lot. But one of the coolest is a very old cash register that still works. Nice people, and great prices.
Great service. Helpful staff
Excellent experience. I hadnt planned on entering but as I was walking by I remembered I needed some nuts and screws.Even though I didnt have anything with me for comparison the shop lady was able to help me find exactly what I needed right away.Ill definitely be coming back here in the future before I even think of going to home depot or any other big box store.
Awesome little old style hardware store. This is the place your grandfather went to when he needed something! They have just about anything you could ever need and the advice on how to get the job done. When I say they have everything I mean everything.... If its not on the shelves look in the old hardware store drawers down by your feet. Street parking can be a pain but besides that its awesome.
Great local hardware store and super friendly and helpful staff
They have a little of everything here. Even the special lightbulb Ive looked all over the place for. Everything from electrical to plumbing to shoveling and splitting wood could all be found. Their basement kitchen collection is very unique. Great staff & old time Hardware feel. I enjoy this going through the shelves and seeing all the stuff they have..
If you cant find it anywhere else in Ohio, try Medina Hardware.
Owner was EXTREMELY helpful. Would not let me leave the store until we were both sure the part I needed was the correct part. He even helped me remove the old broken part, showed me how the new part worked.I could not be happier. Will go back there more often.
So visually stimulating with everything you may need, want it didnt know you needed! Great local business!
Absolutely love this hardware store. An excellent example of Medinas finest. Wonderful staff to help with any of your hardware needs. I highly recommend them.
A great small town hardware store with lots of charm. The staff is awesome.
Blast from the past! Service from folks who know more than an aisle number. I was treated better than expected for a $10 handful of specialty stainless steel screws. This place has has the feel, sound, and smell of a hardware store of my childhood. They have inventory from floor to ceiling, so they probably have exactly what you need. Turn back the clock and enjoy the personal service that is so rare today.
Let me start by saying I like hardware stores. Medina hardware is pretty great by most standards. They have allot of stuff your not going to find at the big box places. Lots of quality stuff. Make sure you check out the basement.
Great people they go above and beyond.Would like to Thank them all
I always find something downstairs that I had been looking for in local big box/franchise stores and couldnt find. Ive learned to go there first. Plus, the people that work there actually do know how to help you and never fail to make a suggestion on how to make my project even better.
Not a whole lot of any one thing but a little bit of just about everything you could imagine! :-)Old-time hardware store right out of the past!Dont try to find anything because youll be unsuccessful... Simply ask because they know exactly where everything is.Just like the old-time hardware stores they have their own filing system and it works beautifully...Stop in and see what was lost when the big box stores showed up!
Was worth the trip up from Wooster. Thank you
Great selection of well made items. Friendly staff.
Has regular and special items big box stores dont have at a price thats was lower than I found online. Great knowledgeable support staff too. Also like Im supporting local community.
What a great REAL hardware store. Variety of everything we were looking for and friendly help.Be sure to admire the 99year old cash register!
Everyone was very friendly and helped me find what I needed to fix a lamp. Basement had many canning and cooking items. I spent about 1/2 hour there and enjoyed my experience. Recommended to everyone needing some help finding repair items.
What can I say? Places like this dont exist much anymore. Its 1/100th the size of Home Depot but I can almost always find exactly what I need...
A delightful step back in time but with everything you need for today. The proprietor knows the store top to bottom and is very accommodating. Ladies, DO NOT miss the treasures in the basement!Well worth the trip.
Locally owned traditional hardware store. Lots of parts plus screen door & window repair plus more. Nice staff always helpful. park on S Court lot or use their hidden off street parking in alley behind off Elmwood.
This is a great place to go. Dont forget to do the lower level. Treasurers to be found.
They went above and beyond to help me Saturday !!!!!! Thank You Medina Hardware....
Medina is so blessed to have Medina Hardware and Rick in our backyard. Rick goes above and beyond the call of duty. When we first moved here over 20 years ago, Rick took the time to saw off 4 metal curtain rods to use in our living room. Another time, my father-in-law and I visited Medina Hardware for parts for a ceramic Christmas tree that didnt lite. Another time, I was fixing the washing machine and Medina Hardware provided what I needed, but realized I needed another part, called Medina Hardware and Rick brought it to our home on New Years Eve! We recently embarked on changing cartridges in our sinks and again, Rick was there to walk us through. Even giving us his home number if we ran into a problem. Thanks Medina Hardware! You stand out as an excellent hardware store, carrying everything and the customer service is truly remarkable. It cant be beat!
This store is an old fashioned family business. Not a large store but they carry many items that are difficult to find in new businesses. The main floor is hardware items including floating pond filters. The basement level is a nice variety of houswares including canning supplies, bakeware and cleaning supplies. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Parking is alongside the road in the front of the store and there is a gravel parking lot in behind the store accessed through the public parking area a couple store fronts down from Medina Hardware.
Great knowledge and service
I was refinishing an old clawfoot tub and needed the faucet and plumbing for it. With no luck at any of the big box stores I stopped in at Medina Hardware as a last ditch try. The lady there told me to wait a minute and disappeared downstairs. Re-appearing with dusty boxes containing everything I needed in brand new condition. Medina Hardware is where I go first now and have never been disappointed.
Friendly and very helpful store clerks. Usually find hard to find parts here
Always very helpful. Friendly and always a joy to go to
Like stepping back in time. Prices are good for a small, family owned business. Check out the housewares section in the basement for retro gadgets!
Nothing is better than walking through a true hardware store.
Good place to get things cheep
The best hometown business. Helpful, appreciative for the business. A1 customer service.
