I put a five star because i do love this grocery store. Their produce is always fresh and their arrachera is made perfectly, plus my family has been going to this grocery store for a long time. This is actually not a review of my own just something that happened while i was there and I decided to write a review because if we do stay quiet, we become part of the problem. There was a man of color waiting to order at the meat section when an employee out of nowhere asked him why are you here? I thought the man had previously been kicked out for another reason, but that was not the case. Obviously, this was a racial issue. The customer was probably coming out of work because his clothes were dirty and probably the employee thought he was a homeless person. Either way, the customer was starting no problems. That is not the way to treat a human being. I hope you address the issue. I personally apologized to the customer as we walked out because i felt so bad and i wanted him to know, not all Mexicans are like that.

Chorizo picante & chicharon con carne is what I always get here, cant get it the way I like it anywhere else!

I love the old fashion butcher shops. They are very organized and friendly. The restaurant is serving generous portions. So you will not leave hungry. The food is fresh and they also do catering.Deli is next to the meat counter.They sell whole roasted chickens for a fast take home meal. I do most of my shopping in this store.

Bad customer service all cashiers have their line light indicating theyre open but all of them are gossiping while one single line cashier is doing the work. Plus theyre putting wrong prices and charging you differently. Look at your receipt for yourself.

I have been to Super Mercado Torres a few times and all of them I have received excellent service! I am not the one to usually leave reviews, but I felt I had to leave one today! With everything that is going on in our communities today with the Pandemic, I felt super comfortable shopping at Super Mercado Torres today! As soon as I got there someone greeted me and had a cleaned and sanitized cart ready for me a long with the other customers that were coming in. Thru out my visit there was always someone cleaning all surfaces that were frequently touched and employees were there helping and directing customers! Thank You!

I dont normally shop here, but the meats were fresh as was the fruit. The store was nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.

All I went for was a cold bottle of Mountain Dew, I couldnt find a in the whole store. I prefer the other local grocery store, just across Lake Ave. This place is riddled with problems, incorrect shelf task prices, poor selection of items, poorly lit, less than friendly workers, and a dingy appearance. The starts is a bit of a gift, hopefully they will improve, which wouldnt take much.

Great service friendly staff a really good restaurant in the back of the store. If you want mexican traditional products you can find them at Super Mercado Torres.

A good place to shop for Mexican and Latin American products, the fruit and vegetables are always fresh looking, cheese, meats and prepared food look fresh and tasty as well. Theres only one inconvenience, you cannot take the shopping carts out to the parking lots, you have to carry your groceries to your vehicle.

So unprofessional! They are very racist at this location. The men working in the meat department have no respect for women who shop alone. I visit this place daily because I live close by. The cashiers are so rude they never greet customers. They only talk amongst themselves. They treat their own kind like trash. The restaurant serves disgusting brown lettuce on their tacos. If you dont believe me, see for yourself!

The market supposed to open 7am... I was waiting outside to get things for my breakfast... the store opened at 7:05am... I wait 35 min to get my bread.... I couldnt wait more for the carnitas because they told me to wait 20 more min... this is unbelievable.... I wont return anymore...

I had a good ezpirience at the taqueria where the enchilada plate was delicious and reasonably priced. However, the deli section was another matter. There was nobody there to serve me and I had to wait a good chunk time before anybody showed up.

I use to buy my meat at Jimenez but after buying meat here I cant go back to jimenez. The meat is so much better quality. I will go buy my fruits at jimenez though.

Meat is expensive, fruit Im not sure how they handle the products but peaches plums and mangoes are black inside and flavorless looks like they fridge the fruit Im not sure but is expensive and bad .

I shop here almost everyday, most of the staff are friendly a d very helpful. I spoke with a manager regarding a product that I was looking for and he order it.

The meat department has a variety of meats, I can always find the cut that I need. The vegetables tend to go bad right away, if theyre not already spoiled. Look closely before, Ive noticed the mushrooms are always spoiled. I avoid purchasing fruits and vegetables here. It honestly is a waste of money. There is always only one lane open. The cashiers are usually goofing around gossiping, or in back at the restaurant flirting with the guys. I have witnessed when a young man came up and starting ringing up customers, because the young lady who shouldve been at the register was in back at the restaurant and they could not find her.
