I spent a lot of time looking for a quality hot tub that would last and made a great decision. I invested in a Hot Springs High Life 6 person hot tub from Ocean Spray. Well folks, it was delivered and installed October 26th 1996- you got it-over 24 years ago!! It has been well used year round outdoors. In that time, 3 service calls-nothing major. Last call was in Dec. 2020 - 6 hours before the cold when I checked temperature and noticed the temperature went down. I spoke to patient Joe who told me what the problem was after I did a few tests myself. He turned me over to Miranda who made sure I really needed the servicing and within 2 hours they sent their tech Tom. In an hour, hot tub fixed and cost was extremely fair. It became almost a reunion since Joe and Tom are the same people I dealt with 24 years ago. Without a doubt, the best investment I have ever made was dealing with a great company who provide the best quality hot tubs and professional service in the industry!! Myself and my wife started looking for a hot tub in spring 2020. We dropped into Ocean Spray and talked to Sonny when we started our search. He told us we would be waiting a while for delivery but agreed to visit us, look at our backyard and recommend both placement and the right tub for our needs. We did visit a few more places selling tubs but none made us feel as comfortable with our questions and concerns as Sonny did. We got our tub delivered in late October and have used it almost every day since. I would highly recommend a visit to Ocean Spray if you are in the market for a new tub.As an additional note, Mitch from Ocean Spray dropped by after the install to give me an orientation lesson. This is the very best place to buy a hot tub! Salt water system uses very little chemicals. I have had my tub 4 seasons and it is the key to physical and mental wellbeing. Excellent salesman Sonny. The also have the supplies and extra upgrades in their showroom.

We bought a Pulse in Platnium with a salt system and it arrived in January. I must stay, we never imagined that we would use it nightly. We thought everyone was just saying that, but we have used it every night that we are home. Sometimes even in the morning to have our coffee. Everytime we go in, I thank my husband for convincing me to buy it, as I was very reluctant at first. It is so relaxing and you detach from the daily stress. My husband and I purchased the Limelight Gleam about 1 month ago from Ocean Spray. I wanted to wait until we had a little time to use it before doing my review. I spent over 7 months researching hot tubs, features, different sizes, warranties, and customer reviews, along with reading every blog by spa professionals so I was very well informed by the time we had narrowed down our choices to the top 3. We visited a few other showrooms in Nassau county as well. I had emailed Sonny at Ocean Spray to inquire about pricing and from that moment on I was already sold. He spent extensive time, answering all of my questions and working with me to get me everything I wanted in the price range I needed to be in. My husband and I then decided to make a trip to the showroom and had the pleasure of meeting Meredith, the other salesperson at the Melville location. She was just as attentive and helpful as Sonny. After visiting other spa/hot tub stores we are happy to say that we made the right choice. The sales personnel were very helpful and knowledgeable and clarified many issues for us. We were lucky to get in on a very good sale and had quick delivery. The in home help was terrific and we are able to call them with any questions that come up. So far we are totally enjoying using it. It was a great choice and we are very satisfied.

We bought our Hot Tub in July and we waited a few months before writing this review to test it out. We worked with Sonny in Melville and he was terrific. We purchased the Pulse after testing it out in the showroom and we love it. Now that the colder months are here my wife and I look for times to spend in the hot tub. I have a bad back and after 20 minutes in the hot tub my back pain is gone. We highly recommend the Pulse Hot Tub. We also strongly recommend visiting Sonny in Melville. In a day and age when you can comparative shop products it is so important to consider where you are going to purchase your Hot Tub. Not only was Sonny very patient with us when we were looking around but he has been there for us ever since. As new hot tub owners we had lots of questions and Sonny has always been there for us. Sonny was the best. He was informative and not pushy. Very trustworthy. The reason I bought her is that there were other customers there that were repeat customers who raved about their sauna and the service. They were all right. I waited a year to leave this review, because it is hard not to leave a terrific review when you have a brand new beautiful spa in your yard. I researched this purchase and visited a number of stores who sell spas. I was very impressed with Sonny and he did not just sell me a tub he sold me the right tub for my needs. Meredith was kind enough to give me a chance to even try one of the tubs in the store. Meredith and Sonny explained the salt system to me and its benefits. Sonny was most patient with my questions and the purchase and delivery were seamless. I purchased a Jetsetter, with ACE Salt System. I can not be happier with the ACE Salt System my tub is crystal clear with no chemical odor. The tub operated seamlessly throughout the winter and was as promised not costly to operate. I am most pleased with the purchase and with the high quality tub and mostly with the treatment at the Melville location. I love our backyard oasis, I love the ease of care and the reliability of the tub itself. I love the led mood lighting and I love catching up on the constellations as I study the stars on the clear nights.Thank you Sonny and Meredith for the excellent guidance and service. I started my search like many others driving up and down 110 trying to figure out the many differences between spas. After a few weeks of online research and a couple of wet tests, I purchased a Hot Spring Vista. Joe was absolutely a pleasure to work with. I cant imagine buying our new hot tub from anyone other than Sonny Acevedo at Ocean Spray. Though we had owned one for many years, the technology and features had changed so much that we felt clueless. He spent a great deal of time answering our questions, making suggestions and ultimately helping us choose the tub that was right for us. He came to our house to make sure we had enough space to replace the old tub and gave us a very fair price. No hard sell. No haggling. And after it was installed, he came back to answer our million maintenance questions. In the six weeks weve had our Hot Spring tub, I can tell you it was worth every dime. We are thoroughly enjoying it, not having too much difficulty maintaining it and look forward to using it all year long. Its a great product and Sonny a great person to do business with.

Fabulous hot tub buying experience!!! Meredith was amazing to work with. She was exceptionally patient when I wasnt happy with the color we ended up choosing once it was in our yard. She helped me find paint to use to paint the outside of the spa and now that its done I couldnt be happier! The woman who came to our home to go through all of the chemicals was also very lovely and took the time to go through everything with us - as my husband and I are both new to the world of hot tubs we really appreciated it! We are now going to purchase the side storage pieces they sell so that we can more easily bring out food, drinks, towels, etc. and can access them better!

I bought my hot tub from Joe and his team last year and they were so helpful and made everything easy. Within days i had a state of the art hot tub with music, lights, massage recliners, the works! I use it every day if i can. I sleep better after and it is also fun and social as well, all of a sudden I am very popular as everyone wants to come and have a hot tub these days.Joe has also helped with maintenance and upkeep where needed. My husband and I decided to get a hot tub rather than a pool. It was the best decision we ever made. We researched many companies for many weekends and at last ended up in Ocean Spray Hot tubs in Melville. It was late already and we surely thought that we were going to be rushed out. Well, we were wrong. We met Sonny, he was the most patient person ever. Never being a hot tub owner previously I was unsure of what to expect. Joe and the team were wonderful to work with and I can say I am hooked for life. The hot tub has been incredible and very low maintenance and is something I use year round now. There is nothing better than using the tub with snow on the ground :)

When we moved into our current home in 2008, the absolute first thing we bought for the house was a Vista hot tub from Ocean Spray in Melville. We absolutely love it, so much that we have spent several freezing New years Eve nights in the tub, and have even blown off other NYE plans to do so. We had a great experience when we bought it, with no heavy sales pitch from them. The unit has worked flawlessly, there is great support not only when you first have it delivered, but at any time you can call or go into the store and get all the help you need on maintenance, supplies, etc. This is absolutely the most enjoyable, relaxing way to have company or just by ourselves--the colder the temperature, the better!

We searched many of the other stores on the Island for our first hot tub. We heard good things about Ocean Spray from friends who purchased from there so visited them and are glad we did. No exaggeration -this tub was one of the best investment we ever made. A little over a year ago, we purchased our Relay hot tub. It sits six comfortably...up to twelve if you are a group of teenagers. Right from the start, Joe went out of his way to be helpful and patient and clear. We mentioned that two family members were returning from a cross country bike-trip right around our hopeful delivery date and that it would be really great if we had tub to share with them on the weekend of their return. Joe & Sonny did everything to make this happen and to get it all hooked up and running. They orchestrated it themselves. They even rushed over when our plumber/electrician wasnt able to follow the very basic initial set-up. No matter what questions came up (Hurricane Sandy...) throughout the year, they were right there helping in any way they could. We go in our hot tub at least 4 times a week to more than once a day. We love it! We enjoy it in the snow with rimmed hats on, in the spring and fall and we bought a floatie for when lowering the temperature and sunbathing in the summer months. It was one of the best investments we ever made. We are really happy we went with the Relay and so happy we bought from Joe & Sonny -- they treat us like they are helping family every time.

Sonny and Joe are simply the best… When I first walked into the store it was my first stop in my search for a hot tub. Sonny knowing this spent a tremendous amount of time explaining to me the basics of a hot tub as well as explaining the various features of the Hot Springs tubs. He was not at all pushy and understood the need to comparison shop… Throughout the process he was always there in person, via phone and e-mail to answer any questions that I thought of and was tremendously patient on my many trips into the store to ask more questions and to sit in the various tubs. He is knowledgeable about his competitors and was extremely professional in discussing Hot Springs as compared to his competitors. When Sonny wasn’t there Joe stepped right in with the same care and knowledge.The Hot Springs tubs have a fantastic reputation, but one of the deciding factors for me was the level of service, care and professionalism that I received in the showroom. I did not find this ins any of the other stops I had made.Once I decided on my Prodigy and placed my order Sonny kept me informed of the entire process… calling to let me know when the truck order was completed, when it was leaving the factory and when it would arrive in NY… He worked to schedule a delivery time that was convenient for me and my schedule.After the tub was installed Joe was fantastic at finding a time (the next day – a Sunday no less) to come to the house and give me an “orientation” on the features as well as how to care for and maintain the tub. This is my first hot tub and I had no background knowledge of the chemicals and maintenance. Just bought my Ocean Spray hot tub 3 months ago. My choice was the Prodigy. It was the perfect size with all the features we wanted. It looks great and we use it all the time. I cant say enough about what pleasurable experience the people at Ocean Spray (Melville) made this purchase. Sonny was terrific in explaining the entire line Hotsprings offers, and really worked with us in determining the right tub for us. Joe came to the house and showed us how to care for both the tub and the water and answered all of my questions. The guys who delivered the tub were great during the set up. I shopped at several stores. Ocean Spray was the first stop and nothing really compared after that both in terms of quality and presentation. A great experience!

The best place to buy a hot tub on Long Island!. We shopped all of the pool & spa dealers in the area around and found Ocean Spray to be the best. We could not be happier. While shopping for a gazebo we mistakenly entered into a hot tub store and decided we wanted one. The staff at Ocean Spray are available to answer questions about tubs/chemicals/care before and after tub purchase! Create a spa at home like we did....you will LOVE it!

My wife and I just purchased the SX model which is a 3 seater. We went into the showroom in June and Sonny spoke with us for over 2 hours. We had a ton of questions which he answered patiently and knowledgeably. We felt very comfortable about buying from Ocean Spray, but still we shopped around. No sales person spoke to us like Sonny did. We encountered hard sells and soft cells, but to us, Sonny seemed like the most honest sell. In the 3 months that followed, we called and emailed Sonny with many questions. He still didnt know if we would buy, but he treated us as if we would. He was very helpful throughout our whole process. Finally we made the purchase. Sonny came to our house after work, on his own time, and spent over an hour demonstrating how to use our hot tub. He was able to answer every question we had, took his time, as I am not the quickest learn, and never did he make us feel rushed. We now feel confident in using the proper chemicals and maintaining our hot tub ourselves. And Sonny said we could call or email any further questions we had, which we have already done! Going on the tenth anniversary of the purchase of our Hotsprings caspian Hottub (yes it was a Christmas Gift) and we have nothing but praise for the product and services provided by Oceanspray. Unfortunately your hotel and resorts visits will be disappointing as they are no match for the comfort, heat and, placement and number of jets on my Hottub. We use our Hottub at least 5 times weekly year round. The oceanspray staff is exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They listened carefully and provided excellent advice about what we purchased. They have also provided prompt responses to my inquiries, as well as speedy and professional service and parts years after my warranty expired. And yes they gladly came all the way to Queens... We purchased our first 2012 Grande Hot Tub in this January from Sonny at Ocean Spray and have been soaking in it every night and let me tell you, oh what a great experience!! Joe came over after delivery and gave me a very simple tutorial on how to chemically clean and making the tub available for use anytime me or my family needed to unwind and relax. I Was worried the electric bill would be high owning one of these but to our supprise it was very affordable. Sonny and Joe are very professional, extremley caring, honest, informative, and on point with their every promise. I was in the market for my second Hot Tub, after my Saratoga Spa began to fail.I did ample research, and liked what I read about Hot Springs Tubs, and I saw that Ocean Spray was the Long Island distributer.Dealing with Sonny and Joe from start to finish was terrific.
