I choose the First Cup light roast beans for my office coffee machines.For those that dont know, the lighter the roast (breakfast blend etc), the more caffeine it has!They can provide all of you office, coffee needs!

Such a cute store! The people working there were super nice, the food and drink was amazing, and their dining areas outside are super nice. Overall, a great experience. I got a hot chocolate and studied, and I would love to do it again!

Great little coffee shop, located near a stop light which makes for easy in/out access. The staff were friendly and helpful with the menu. The Cold Brew was excellent! Also had the Strawberry Frozen Lemonade and it was good. Not over priced either.

Food is always good. Specialty coffee drinks are packed with sugar, but their regular stuff like cappuccinos and unflavored lattes are great. However, I ordered decaf and got caffeinated. They need a better process in case someone has a health condition.

I go for the sea salt carmel latte! Amazing! I got half sweet as I usually do with added flavors and it was just right!The bacon, egg, cheese bagel was good... but not what I would return for... the sscl is where it’s at.

We drove through the drive thru when happening upon a coffee shop called Ugly Mug (I had to stop). The coffee was better than expected. The wait in the drive thru was long (15-20 minutes) on a rainy Sunday mid-day. But the wait was worth it. We got the light roast (Saving Grace) and the dark roast. My husband got some sugar in the dark roast to cut the bitterness, which he regretted since it didnt need it. We even got a bag to go to take home. The names of the coffees were funny and entertained us. I wish I could have purchased an ugly mug.

I hate to give it two stars because the staff is super sweet and the products are REALLY good.. BUT… I agree with the other reviewers who say it takes forever to get through the line. I did an experiment one day just out of curiosity…I was about to get in line and decided to try this.. I drove instead to a Starbucks over 2 miles away and went through their drive thru.. then drove back to ugly mug, and the car that I would’ve been behind had still not gotten their coffee yet. So there’s that. 🤷‍♂️

Cute store with great coffee on Poplar Avenue! Prices are almost equal to Starbucks but the taste is way better. I ordered blue suede macchiato and enjoyed every sip. Their have wide range of cup collection, which is a really interesting decor. I have been here few times and always enjoyed my visit.

I love their coffee and baked goods. However it takes at least 30 minutes to get through the drive-thru every time. Ive tried their pickup app twice now, and each time it has it has been messed up and has taken about 15 minutes to fix. I love grabbing a coffee and snack before going to the playground or the zoo, but this place does not make it easy to do a quick stop.

Great cup of coffee on the go this morning. Easy to get in and out, delicious flavors without the bitterness of major chains. Will see them again. End result was lower prices and superior products. Give them some love and stop by.

Ordered a latte and a nitro for dine in. My latte was served too hot; it took 25 min to be drinkable with the lid off in the AC. Latte was dark roasted and tasted okay in the end. The nitro was a very dark roast and not very palatable to my boyfriend.

Got the Blue suede macchiato and Cuban. The coffee was much stronger than I expected, may need to ask for a pack of.sugar next time but it was phenomenal. The sandwich was hot, and in no way lacking. Very impressed. Super friendly staff. I definitely understand now why the line was so long.

Oh my gosh! This was amazing! My friend who didn’t even like coffee liked the snickerdoodle latte (seasonal) I got the blue suede latte and I’m not even sure what the flavor is, but it was awesome. The drip coffee was smooth and flavorful. Very jealous of Memphis for having this wonderful shop.

This is the absolute best coffee place I’ve ever been, and I’m from Seattle. We stayed in downtown Memphis and drove 20+ minutes to get this coffee every morning. The flavors are so unique and there really is something for everyone. Most importantly, the staff is incredible. Everyone was so cheery, friendly, and helpful. On our last day we ordered a bag of beans and they took the time to grind it for us! Seriously, it will not disappoint.

Ive only been here 3 times. My first visit, I was majorly impressed. The last two visits, Ive been really disappointed. My iced latte tasted and looked like iced milk even after asking for double the espresso two times in a row now. Also, on the last visit, my chicken pesto (normally delicious) was ice cold in the middle.

Very long line and the workers were taking their time. Stuck in line for 40 minutes for a stupid coffee. Worse than Starbucks line.

I really liked this place! The line was pretty long at the drive thru, but that just speaks to its popularity. I paid ~$11 for 2 large drinks, including one of their seasonal/specialty drinks. Both were really delicious. The service was good too—really friendly guy at the window.

While this place does provide really great coffee, recently it just hasn’t been like it used to be. the old crew that worked there about a month or two ago was really great! they were quick, they were personable meaning everytime i walked in there they knew my name and they knew what i was having. i still have good experiences here the only downside being i’m a regular here and come in nearly everyday which i know i’m not the only one, however the crew now doesn’t make nearly as good drinks. i always come in for the same full moon frappe (highly recommended) which i used to LOVE more and more each time i got it thanks to the old crew that was so great but recently they have been not blended well, ice floating in the cup almost as if i ordered an iced coffee. flavor is still great it just doesn’t seem like they’re holding up to the standards they used to. this place is really great but if you’re looking got a quick grab and go cup of coffee before work this unfortunately isn’t the place because you’ll be waiting in line way too long. i’d suggest using the app as i have but even then you’ll be waiting a 5-10 minutes past your pickup time. I give 2 stars because i still love the place don’t get me wrong i just don’t feel as welcomed when i walk in as i used to and i don’t find myself coming in as much recently because every time i do the coffee just using up to par, i can never get it through the straw because of how much ice is in it. and lastly because this isn’t a quick coffee run option in town. if you aren’t in a rush and want a good cup of coffee this is your place. i will still continue to give this place a chance every now and then but i’m not an everyday customer like i used to be. very frustrating !

I always get my coffee in the drive thru window and I never wait too long. Each flavor I have tried there has not disappointed me. Theres an option to sit at a table outside during more pleasant weather. They offer cooked food as well if youre there at breakfast or lunch time.

My favorite Memphis coffee joint AND it has a drive thru and patio! Great flavors and quality coffee. Try their mocha as its a unique bean and chocolate! The inside is super quaint. Not overdone. Definitely quirky and memphian!

My absolute FAVORITE coffee shop in Memphis. You HAVE to try them! Their coffee is SO good and their menu items are pretty on point, too. For lunch, try their chicken pesto sandwich. OMG! Soooooo good! My fave sweet is the Sweet &Ugly Roll. Very tasty! The muffins are Huge and the cookies are tasty, too. The coffee drinks are Amazing! They are excellent roasters, so their coffee drinks are consistently on point. The staff is so sweet! Very kind and professional. As a whole, they set the bar very high and I will forever be a repeat customer.

Drive thru is impossibly slow. Their coffee is great but you cant stop in for a quick cup at all.

A favorite local coffee brand. Highly recommend. Their drip coffee is always good. I love the Ugly Mocha and their bagels and muffins are always fresh and warm. The people are nice and helpful.

Their coffee is superb. I’ve had coffee all over the country trust me. Blue suede macchiato with oat milk is mine & my husbands go to when we are in the area. Be patient as it’s a very popular place so the wait can be long at certain times, but it is well worth it.

Great coffee shop with some different flavored lattes than the usual. Thats a good thing. I was initially disappointed that they dont have coconut milk, but oat milk turned out to be a good substitute.

I love this place so much and their products. Been dying for them to open another location close to bartlett/ Cordova area of town. Regardless love this local establishment and their outstanding employees!

Used to be a delight. I now the line stretches out to Perkins and moves slower than a snail. Combine that with forcing their rewards system onto an app that never EVER works, and sadly, I wont be back.

Today was my first time ever going here (despite the fact i’ve lived in memphis my whole life and have only ever heard good things about this place//i’m VERY picky about my coffee and stuff) and i was not a bit disappointed!the full moon latte is bomb a’f and the staff is super friendly:)would totally recommend to anyone to check this place out!

To start with, the coffee is great. Its good enough to drink black.. you dont have to hide the flavor with cream or sugar. And the people are SO NICE! Every time Ive been in, theyre welcoming.I will say going in is so much faster than the drive through. Thats okay, though, because you get to see their smiling faces! :)

Voted best coffee in Memphis. I personally thought their coffee was ok at best. I ordered a cappuccino, the milk seemed over-steamed evident in the froth. Perhaps it was just the barista working when I stopped by, but I can’t say I’d go out of my way to return.

Just started going to this place. Day one I got sea salt hot coffee day two I got caramel frappuccino and both were delicious with very friendly service. Needless to say Ive been back probably two or three more times in the past week and half of my punch card is filling up! (You get a free coffee every 10 visits!) And #uglymug is EVERY bit as good as Starbucks but cheaper ...And local! #eat901

This place is almost always full. I had a hot coffee and a croissant breakfast sandwich. They tasted great but coffee was luke warm and the egg was definitively cold. I get that they are busy and what not, but you shouldnt drop the quality of your service especially if your customers are already waiting 30 min + for a coffee abs sandwich on a drive-thru. Im mad at the quality, not the speed.It is understandable to make them wait, just make sure you deliver up to quality standards.

I’ve been getting the sea salt caramel latte for three years and every time I come in or go through drive thru I’ve always experienced friendly customer service. I definitely recommend them as well as using their app on iPhone or Android is very quick and easy for when I’m in a rush. It’s much easier to place an order on the phone and walk in and grab my order on those busy Monday mornings. The beverages themself have been very consistent on flavor and the best way I can describe it is a hug in a mug. Right now we’re in a pandemic and even though I miss the cozy atmosphere of their lobby I still enjoy sitting out on the patio.

As soon as I walked through the door, I was was greeted. I let the lady know that this was my first visit and she recommended a blue suede coffee, which was delicious. The hot chocolate was delicious also. I will definitely be a returning customer.

I am a huge fan of the Saving Grace coffee and it looks like I am far from the only one, as they were sold out when I went by to purchase some to take home. They do have one slightly milder (First Cup, which I purchased and LOVE) and several stronger. They even let us know the Memphis Blues had been roasted just two days prior to our visit. Definitely a must try if you are a coffee drinker! Not only will we be back, we will be ordering online!

So far the best customer service I’ve received in my hunt for great coffee in Memphis. Today I had a Dulce Con Leche coffee. The barista was kind enough to tell me how they make it, the half and half is a rich treat, will probably take an extra shot the next time, and get a cold brew or iced coffee too.They were out of the ugly delicious roll, but she gave me other options which I appreciated. Ended up with a cheese danish, something about the actual pastry wasn’t my favorite, but the cheese part was perfect. I’m gonna hold back one star for the pastry, and will give them another try.But if you want to feel good after purchasing from somewhere...this is it. I’m going back for their customer service!!

I love this place! They have the best staff members and their coffee is delicious. Seeing Jasmine and Esiteri on Friday mornings makes my day! They’re both wonderful employees and their customer service is phenomenal.
