I’ve been coming here for a long time. Today I came in to grab some stuff for my son and the female was so rude about not wearing a mask. I apologized and she kept on and on and on. I said I didn’t see the sign because I entered from side and she said “we have big signs”. She kept on. I apologized again. She seemed very irritated. So I said “sorry” she said “‘well our regulars know”. Ok. Why didn’t you say something when I walked in and said “hello” I’ll just buy online from now on. Come on. I get it. But don’t be rude. The other two guys who I believe own the shop are always really nice to me and my son but I’m not going to get chastised.

Very good store for new comics. They have plenty of back issues but for the most part have been picked clean of any keys or relevant issues.

Great help and great selection. I found two comics that I havent been able to find for four years. If you are looking for a specific comic, whether new or old, they most likely have it. I would definitely recommend.

I recently stopped by and spotted a particular statue that caught my eye. Upon closer inspection ;however,the paint was less than desirable. This is through no fault of comics and collectibles. I really liked the sculpt and the pose and asked if they had another and they did not. I asked for a discount based on the shoddy paint job, and was offered a considerable discount which I immediately took them up on. They had all types of comics and collectables. Everything from demon Slayer all the way back to the early 80s and 90s cartoon characters we grew up with.

Recently started buying comics from here. Everything is packaged neatly and the store is orderly. Its endearing knowing places like this are still here.

The BEST comic book store in all of Shelby county. The employees are knowledgeable of comics, great posters, Books/Omnibus, and a plethora of comics of all ages. The overall atmosphere of the store makes my pulse elevate with nostalgia and excitement. My only regret is not finding sooner. It’s worth the drive wherever you live.

Awful service, very rude employees . We walked in they didn’t say a word of greeting to us. Yell across the store for us to pull our mask up. No one within twenty feet of us.I took off my mask and coughed and blew it at them. Will not be returning and warning people not to go.

They have a huge selection of comics, graphic novels, and even figures. The guys that work there are very friendly and know you by name in no time, even while wearing a mask. All in all, the best comic shop in Memphis.

Decent enough prices and selection. However I’ve been here twice now and drop some decent coin both times (not that that should matter) and both times I got the vibe that they couldn’t care less of I was there or not. So if you don’t care about that decent place to go.

Very rude employees, cussed me out because I asked if I should wear a mask due to Covid-19. You can get everything in store cheaper on amazon. Not worth the visit with such rude employees.TO CLARIFY: I was happy to wear a mask! Just asked before coming in, didn’t see the sign. They are just nasty.

Nice little spot in Memphis. Great if you are a DC fan as they have more DC titles than Marvel. They also have a pretty good independent library as well. If you are not a local you may get the cold sholder, but I have been popping in and out of here for about 5 years now. I try to make a stop if I am in Memphis.

I make it a point to stop in this shop every time I pass through Memphis. Theyve got great displays, a good space, and a solid selection. Im consistently impressed by the number of indie books available, and the shop does a great job of discounting older graphic novels too. As if that wasnt enough, the owners are friendly guys who know their books. If youre a comic book (or board game) fan, youve got to check out this store.

By far the best comic book store in the area, actually after visiting many in other states, Ive never found one as good as this one. Have been a customer for years.

A nice clean shop with a ton of stock. Every current comic title you could think of, a sea of sorted back stock, and a great selection of trade paperbacks and hardcovers. I stopped by on a Tuesday as they were sorting their new comics order for the week, which they do on said sorted back issues, so I didnt get a chance to look through a lot of those boxes. But I did pick up some new comics and a Superman hardcover that was on sale for a great price. Really enjoyed my time in the store, will be back by when Im back in town.

May be the best comic shop in Memphis. I mean, this is your classic comic shop. A comic shop frozen in time before comics were cool. This shop doesnt pander, or try to be the new hip place, dude!. No, this is a shop that has been untouched by time and trends. Its a nice place to peruse and pass time; a nice calm atmosphere where no one talks unless they want to. A real man cave in the classic sense, but also a place you feel comfortable bringing your daughter to.What I appreciate most about Comics & Collectibles is that they know what they are. A comic shop. Not a toy shop. Not a model shop. Not a game shop. Comics take the main stage and everything else is a supporting act. The shop itself is easy to walk through. There isnt a barrage of needless inventory hanging from spinner racks, or crowding the shelves. The aisles are wide and roomy. Thats not to say that C&C doesnt have toys, games or models. They do! But, like my grandad used to say everything in its place.

This is an awesome comic book store. This was my first visit. WOW! Huge selection. So many new comics, tons of old comics, and the largest selection of compilations I have ever seen. I brought my 7 year old son and had to watch what he looked at, but this unfortunately normal for most comics. Will be back.

I have done business with C&C since they opened over 20 years ago. The staff is always helpful and the selection is always excellent. To give you an idea of how good a store this is, let me tell you something that has happened every Christmas for several years now. Each year, I go to the store to make a list of books that Id like and I give this list to my Mom, who, although getting on in years, still insists on going out and buying Christmas presents. Every year that she comes into the store, she is treated, to use her own words: Like a Queen! They are so used to seeing her by now that one of the staff will simply take the list and collect the books for her while she relaxes by the counter. If theyre out of something, they always offer to order it for her if she chooses. Youve got to love a store that treats your Mother so nicely.

Maybe not the most talkative until you crack the shell but theyre great guys and gals and really know their stuff. Old MTG set boosters are a nice surprise and good prices, with a bargain section that is always loaded. Board games galore, too.

Great back issues, found a ton of stuff I was looking for at good prices. Staff was helpful. They helped me track down a recent issue I needed. Tons of tpbs and hb for sale.

Not friendly

The guys that work the shop are super informative and nice. I was out of the game for a few years but the took the time to help me with some older and newer jumping on points. Theyre selection is extensive and comes at a wide variety. Comics are a little more of an expensive habit than they use to be but its always a little easier to spend your money when you can always find what you wont and the person selling it to you is nice. Thanks guys you all are great.

Easygoing little hole in the wall comic book shop tucked waaaaay in the back from the hustle and bustle of Poplar Ave. Whether youre in need of an omnibus, or some current single issues, theyre pretty well stocked with a diverse selection. And theyve got you covered if you miss the collectibles you could once find at FYE; I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of things they managed to cram in such a small shop and was very happy with the limited amount of time spent there.

Hands down best comic book store in the area. I’ve lived all over the country and have experienced a lot of comic book stores and this one is top tier. The selection is comparable with the largest stores and the customer service is comparable to your local hang out. It’s the best of both worlds!

I collect collectables and i feel that if its new in the box and a undamaged collectors items. I believe the price that was paid was appropriate for the items at hand.anyway i wanted to sale but they low balled me way under half of what it cost. I can get better prices on the streets.

This place is great! They have a huge selection and the staff is super nice. They donated a bunch of comics to my school to help under-priviledged kids learn to read. Not only is this a great comic book shop, but they give back to the community, which makes them awesome in my book!

Great store with a wide selection of comics both new and old

I called about a comic Ive been searching for, which they had an gave me a price over the phone. On my lunch break, the same day I called, I went to purchase the comic. Upon checking out the clerk gave me a different, much higher price. I asked why the difference in price from when I called earlier. He claimed that he had gotten many calls about the same comic and he couldnt sell me the comic at the price he gave me due to the sudden popularity of the comic.REALLY!?Nevermind the fact that Im the only one in the store, with money, ready to purchase this comic. I understand prices of collectibles go up but in less than a day? Thanks but Ill take my money to somewhere else that has better business ethics!

My teenage son spent over $100 in this store. I went back with my son due to a discrepancy on his ticket. The cashier was rude & loud. I left with the issue unresolved. I showed three other people and they all saw (his) mathematical error. We will NEVER return.

Always very helpful when looking for something specific and if they don’t have it they will get it.

If I could give NO STARS, I would. Went in yesterday and was told that they buy comics. Today I took a VERY LARGE box of DC/Marvel/Darkhorse comics IN SLEEVES and IN MINT CONDITION to this place only to be told they couldnt buy a SINGLE ONE OF THEM. This place obviously does not buy comics. Im assuming they dont get enough business to ACTUALLY BUY comics, and now I see why.
