How do I describe this amazing place? Heavenly! The ice cream is so amazingly smooth and so flavorful. Its light and so perfect for a hot summer day or after a long day at work. And there are so many options! Its unbelievable! I cannot wait to come back!!

I was with someone that spoke Spanish so I have no idea what was said and if the service was good. Was quick and they seemed friendly. Im be back because the corn was good.

It’s just an experience everyone should try. The ice cream is hands down some of the best in the city. But then try something cultural like El Fruita, or a fruit cup. It’s fun trying new things and especially from different cultures. The people there speak Spanish and English and are very nice. They helped me and walked me through what I wanted to order. The fruit was very fresh and the spices and sauce were a good kick. The place was packed and they have their tables placed for social distancing. And the prices are really good.

Heard it was a good spot. First time there, walked in, nobody acknowledged me nor spoke out of 4 staff members excluding 1 because she was helping someone else, so I walked out after standing for almost 5 mins. Oh well!

My sister took me to this shop for the first time yesterday and it was a lovely experience. Service was great and I was quite impressed with their speed and patience with all of the guest in the building! I had the banana split, with tres leches, lemon, and key lime pie ice cream. With everything on it of course!😋 Everything was delicious!

Its okay. The lines are a little confusing since there is only one cashier and some people look like theyre waiting on the cashier when in reality theyre trying to order - in this case those are two different things.Also... the mint ice cream/ milkshake literally tastes like toothpaste, and the milkshake definitely has the texture of it as well. Do with that information what you will.

Everyone in Memphis should stop by this place. The ice cream, the nachos, drinks, fruit pops... everything is delicious and affordable. We do ice cream for dinner once a month and we always come. The Mexican Cake ice cream is truly amazing.

Keyline pie flavor icecream was good. Tres leches was random. They re known for their creamy ice creams !! The fruit in cream options and the bars looked particularly appetizing, will try next time !!

They have a delicious ice cream, variety of Mexican Snacks like Elotes con crema, chicharrones preparados, fresas con crema.

Took my wife for a evening ice cream. Careful they close a bit early. Huge wide open space for eating inside. I had the Chamoyadas it is a 16 oz cup of natural mango w a sour mild Tangy recipe. I had it how ever they fix it. The tangy stuff was not bad, but more tangy than I enjoyed. Once I poured out the sauce it was delicious. Next time Ill just get a natural fruit popcicle. Plenty of other customers were enjoying the thing I ordered. Dont let me deter you from ordering it.Noticed they sell nachos in addition to all the ice cream and fruit dessert stuff. Ill try those next visit.

Amazing ice cream!!! Pistachio with Almonds was amazing and my husband loved the banana split! The staff was sooo nice and willing to give samples of any flavor!!!

So good. Went in Thursday night for the first time in a while. Reminded why this is such a cornerstone of the many great food options on Summer Avenue.

I ordered a small corn which had great flavor but was cold. I also order a strawberry and cream popsicle. The cream was awesome but the strawberries were flavorless. It was like eating ice when it came to the strawberries. My husband ordered the same thing, and it entire popsicle was tasteless. I am willing to give them another try.

One of the best places in Memphis to get ice cream of different flavors. Prices are very reasonable too. Only caveat is that menu items are not in English, but you can always ask them.

Great place to make a team building activity.it was a great experience.we finished the puzzle 8 minutes ahead and dont worry the staff will give you a little help if you get stuck.Great Experience!!

Everything is fresh and delicious here. The staff is super nice and helpful. I love the paletas (mamey and cappuccino are my favorites. Avocado is my husbands favorite, hands down) and strawberry fresca. This is in my neighborhood so I visit frequently during the summer but even if you have to make a small trip out of it, it is well worth it! I highly recommend!

Ice cream is good and a fair price. We visit about once a month. Was disappointed in the employees Hygiene. The employee went to the bathroom with the blue gloves on, stayed in there for 4 minutes. I was in line waiting for the bathroom. the employee came out, did not hear any water running and the employee still had the blue gloves on. They went right back to work. I say that is pretty Nasty!

Great tasty flavors of ice cream and treats with friendly staff. We visited the first time with a large group, and the staff was very patient has they handed out flavors for us to try. Lots of seating and a kid friendly place. We will definitely be back.

The ice cream and desserts, etc. are really good, but, for me, the opportunity to interact with and watch people with different cultural and ethnic backgrounds are what make La Michoacana special. Its located in a culturally diverse neighborhood, so youre going to encounter people who speak different languages than you, practice different religions than you, dress differently than you, and look differently than you. If you enjoy this sort of thing, go to La Michoacana, order the strawberries and cream, sit down at a table, and then listen and watch. It will be time well-spent.

Best Ice Cream in Memphis - it would be cheap at twice the price and would dress up table linens at even the best restaurants. If you havent tried it, find the time. Personal favorites include Pine Nut, Rum Raisin and Strawberry Cheesecake

Friendly and warm staff, delicious and affordable ice cream. Highly recommend trying the different flavors like Pine Nut and Mamey, that you wouldn’t find at other ice cream shops. Popsicles were also wonderful and affordable. Definitely the place you want to go for ice cream from a friendly family!

Has to be the best ice cream shop I have ever been in! We come here often and weve got all our friends coming also. The variety of ice cream flavors they have and the high quality of their fresh made in their store ice cream cant be beat! They also make their own popsicles, some are fruit based and others are fruit and cream based. They even have mangoes and Chilis as a flavor! They have other treats there too they have what they call fruit cocktail that is your choice of fresh fruits with a sweet cream poured over. They have some other Mexican treats that are Savory and not sweet but we never get those so I cant comment on them. Go there in a hurry!

Get the sweet corn ice cream. You will not be disappointed. I got a medium and it lasted for 3 servings. Hands down the best ice cream in Memphis.

Everything is so good but I HATE THE ATTITUDE ALL THE LADIES THAT WORK THERE HAVE. Its like you begging them instead of you buying something from them. If they give you something wrong they act like its your fault. No type of customer service.

They have so many things I want to try but everytime I get the chamoyadas because they are just so good. I dont get the tangy sauce on them although I have tried it on someone elses and liked it. I prefer mine with their home made cream sauce instead. I have sampled my friends fresas con crema and that was really good too. My son always gets the key lime ice cream and we usually get their elote too! Ive also taken home several flavors of the popsicles. Everything there is so fresh and yummy.

If you want authentic tasting Mexican ice cream and great fruit combinations, this is the place to go. They also make a good Eloteand the staff is friendly too.

SO GOOD. Not only was the ice cream fricken awesome but the service was phenomenal. It was a chilly day so they said it wasnt as busy as normal so I guess we were able to get more attention. But we were able to try anything we wanted, didnt even have to ask they just started offering us. And the portions are heaping. So many great flavors! Need to go.

Oh this place is awesome! I lived in Dallas, TX a cpl of years and the Mexican food was awesome! I loved the street tacos, big burritos and most favorite was the Elote corn in a cup w/sour cream. I didn care for the mayo! So this lovely place gas my ELOTE CORN! And fruit in a cup w/some type of cream! The BOMB!!! Ur fruit is a choice of strawberries, mango, papaya, peaches, cherries, pineapples, apples & bananas in a cream sauce. & you may top it w/a variety of nuts or coconut or raisins. Its different kinds but the one I tried was called COCKTEL!!! Omg It was good! A variety of everything in there! Smells really clean when you walk in. If that matters to anyone. Friendly atmosphere & pleasant attitudes ready to serve you.

This place over looked me, made me feel like I was a statue. I stood there for hours....wondering if I would ever be taken cared of. It was only until I decided to complain that to one of the workers of my longing presence that they took me into account. Shameful.Great food though.
