Great experience. I can hear again and have a future opportunity for care.I apologize to Dr Shea for the difficulty I showed At His obvious expertise. Blame it on the week long anxiety of silence. I was convinced about getting a new hearing aid and romuse to use it. Tyyyty.
I had ear surgery back in the 80’s by Mr. Shea senior. Because he did such a good job on my ear, I came back around 6 years ago when I needed aids. I started seeing Mr. Shea jr. My insurance paid 100% BCBS. Shea center DID have a little problem getting paid by BCBS. It’s time to now replace them with another set of 7000$ aids. And they informed me that because BCBS was hard to get along with I would have to pay for them up front and be reimbursed by BCBS. I asked, did you get your money for my last set and was told yes. I then said that they(Shea hearing center) had just lost me and 7000$ just walked out of their practice. Why? Because their was no way I could pay for them up front. I drive 2 hours just to see them while their are people here I could see. Why? Because for the most part I liked them. I’ve now made an appointment at ENT in Tupelo next month and they DO FILE my BCBS insurance and they WILL PUT 7000$ into their account and I won’t have to drive to Memphis anymore. I’m sorry that they did this.I would like to add that the staff was courteous, polite and tried to see to my needs. The problem was between BCBS insurance and receivables. It’s unfortunate.

The Shea clinic and especially Dr Everett have been such an important contribution to the quality of life for my mother. His kind and patient demeanor facilitated a manner that allows restoration of hearing and comprehension to my aged mother. With an advanced hearing aid, my mother is able to adjust her hearing to different venues. Those people with profound hearing loss, should see Dr Everett as he gives the extra touch in advanced hearing restoration .

Friendly, knowledgeable, technicians. Teach you how to use your hearing aid, and monitor your setting, so that you get opptimin use of it. However, it DOES NOT restore or replace your hearing QUALITY to a natural sound.

Although I did not need a hearing aid based upon my diagnosis, they were great in explaining both my hearing deficit and Central Auditory Processing Disorder. They were also good about recommendations for helping me adapt to my environment with CAPD.
Called an left message needed appointment. Still waiting for call back about a week later. Oh well..... So 12-16-19 you say no record of my call. Tell you what i will get my call log from my cell phone. May take a little time, but I most certainly make it available. Again this was 6 months ago and you just now say no record.
