I recently got a storage unit from Extra Space Storage on Heisley Rd. in Painesville, which is located close to my apartment. From the start, I was pleased with the customer service department who gave all the information I needed and with the personnel at the store I spoke to. When I was ready to claim the unit, the manager walked me through the process so I could move in right away.To get in and out of the storage area, you need to put in a code on a keypad, but they have an app that allows you to open and close the gate from your phone. Things can’t get much easier than that.The unit itself is clean and easy to access. I chose an indoor unit so it is even well lit. This will work out perfectly for my needs.My only caution is that the parking lot has a few deep ruts to watch out for. The speed in the storage area is not supposed to be more than 5mph, but a couple of the ruts could stop you dead if you hit them wrong.I highly recommend Extra Space Storage am pleased with my experience so far.

I had a wonderful experience with Lisa on Saturday October 24th. She was very pleasant and cheerful. Explained everything in detail. Showed me different units. All of them were nice. I chose one that she said ahead of time that I probably would. Very happy and satisfied when I left. She also took her time with me even though it was very very close to closing time. I really appreciated that.

Excellent customer service and timeliness. Walked in to ask about pricing and availability and was given a tour and a complete itemized breakdown of cost. I signed up on the spot. I had previously visited other companies with non-transparent costs - where a $50/monthly rental actually would cost around $80. Extra Space Storage is upfront about what you will be paying and does not tack on unnecessary, unfair fees. They make payment easy and will send text verification monthly for automatic payment withdrawals. I really cant say enough about how friendly and informative they were, and how easy they made this process. ESPECIALLY during the COVID-19 pandemic, which heavily impacted my housing situation and was the reason that I needed storage in the first place. God forbid I am ever in a situation to need storage again, but if I do, I will be coming straight back to Extra Space Storage. Thank you all so much for being so excellent!!!

Shopping around for storage, I found this place with great security features, and a perfect storage unit for my motorcycle. Side load into a 10x5 unit is perfect for a motorcycle. Friendly service, very helpful! My daughter and I came by today to drop off some items. Cold and snowy...out of nowhere comes a young guy and begins to shovel the snow and salt the area by our locker. He was one of the nicest kids(sorry but when youre 59, most guys are kids...) Ive ever met. He even offered to prepare our space for us after snow, ice etc. if we call ahead. This is really quality customer service. This young man should be promoted or at least given a raise ;-). Or maybe just a kudos for a job really well done.

It was very easy to sign up and work with the staff members to use the facility. There were code numbers to go to get in and then leave again so I felt things were secure. We need a climate controlled storage unit in this fit our needs.

Sean and Lisa, customer service above and beyond anything you will find. Make you feel welcome, comfortable and valued. I once left my door unsecured and Shawn came and found me not only did he take time to find me (he is so aware of his customers that he knew where I was) and get this! He took my lock secured the door for me so I did not have stop what I was doing. Now that is going above and beyond!!

Sean made the entire process extremely easy and was very inviting and thorough when I came to rent. I found the unit online and after reserving Sean called me with additional details. The climate control unit is kept at a great temperature and I feel comfortable storing my belongs here. After having mold on some items at another storage company which only had non-climate control units, I decided it was worth the few extra bucks for the climate controlled unit. Extra Space made this decision easy by having the first month free and very competitive monthly rate. I would recommend this facility to a friend!

The people here are very very nice and they make sure your stuff is taken care of! I just moved my dads stuff out of his trailer after he passed in February. We had originally gone to the one on Hopkins, but they did not have the size we needed. So they called ahead to the one on Heisley and confirmed that a unit was available. The people at both places were very nice and helpful. We ended up getting a unit set up that day and got the online price. Very happy with them and would recommend to anyone.

Bob the manager is great!!! He was super helpful and very nice to work with when I leased a new unit to replace my existing smaller unit. The facility is nice - I have had furniture in my unit for 5 years and there is no damage to it at all from moisture.The hours are great and you often go during office hours and the staff is walking the property to make sure everything looks secure. I would definitely recommend the Heisley Rd. Extra Space Storage!!!

Was good from the start. Then apparently had sprayed pesticide everywhere, because there was a lot of dead bugs. And there was standing in water in the unit. No apologies, no fixes. Never use this storage again.
