They have a pretty wide variety of products. They keep the shelves well stocked. Customer service is their downfall. You may see five employees stocking shelves and only one register open . Regardless of how many people are in line.c

Dont think I didnt see the nametag of the person being reported either.Horrible place to shop cashiers state no restroom. So where do you go to the restroom?No respect for the workers out in the field that need to use the restroom before they eat their lunch and so they have have clean hands during lunch. Thanks for making me find somewhere else thankfully les swab let me use their restroom. I hope you see this!!!!

For most of the times shopping is ok the only think I dont care for is when I bring my own bag I have to bag the items. Why is this?

Went there to get random items and found appliance light bulbs for $2.00. They were $6.00 at CVS! Same brand.

It wS awesome I never seen a store that offered so many name brands and quality items. The employees were extremely nice too.

Went there this evening, spent about $20 on toiletries & beauty items (reasonable pricing).The customer service was definitely a 1 star though, compared to what I’ve experienced in the past at this store. There was once this outstanding male that was ALWAYS so happy & radiated positive vibes by greeting every single person that walked into the store (what happened, where did this stellar worker go? Why aren’t the other workers like this guy?). He would go above and beyond to assist customers, even when the customers were not the kindest. Granted-this store is not in the best location which brings in some “interesting” people, but regardless-customer service should be a 5 star service. If people don’t like their jobs, they should go get a job they do like...The lady that rang me up, ripped my bag handle while bagging my items (she didn’t tell me)-I had to take all the items out of the ripped bag & place the items into the other bag I had, as she proceeded to ring up the next customer...Prior to paying, I asked if I had to download the store app to receive the discount for an item, she said yes, so I decided not to purchase the item. This was a first—-being told I had to download an app to get the discount/promo for an item (ridiculous). I then tried to enter my phone number, she said “no records/account found for this number”. Instead of asking me if I wanted to sign up, she just gave me my total, I felt rushed and as though she didn’t care to explain the app requirement or phone number issue.Positive side: I’m thankful she wasn’t rude, but she honestly could be making customer’s shopping experience’s more pleasant, which in turn creates more revenue for the store. This cashier needs more customer service training.

Family Dollar seems to have just about everything. A person could use or just about, anyway there is ample parking and its easy to get in and out of the parking lot.Over all not bad.

They had no little boy sweat pants and very limited any of little boy pajamas that were to big or to small for what I needed and they didnt even have and young kids slippers I was really disappointed

This store has a good selection of various items. I come in here at times to buy dish soap for $3 and some other items. The general items start at a dollar and work up. The store can be sometimes messy especially at night and they do sometimes run of out the items I need. However considering it is a dollar store the service is OK. Three stars.

If I could put zero stars I would I think there needs to be some random drug tests, some customers service training, and just plain common courtesy going on with the management. Working in customer service you will get mental health patients, thieves, drug addicts, or someone who is just plain desperate. Yelling and screaming is not only very unprofessional but it could also ignite something small into some thing big. There is a way to deal with each situation and Management should know how to de-escalate volatile situations not aggravate them. If they are unable to handle there job get another one out of consumer interactions. Well Ill help out with legal some legal training after I sue Family Dollar. For the unprofessionally aggressive Management I encountered today. Get Better Managers.

A lot of goodbyes on good quality merchandise like dishes true foods Pasadena detergents pesticides candy ice cream clothing sunglasses reading glasses hygiene like shampoos shaving cream razors womens makeup also have cold medicines aspirins I kind of know. Everyday things that fits the families needs

Manager Brianna is extremely rude. Good look on having your phone out and not getting your head ripped off by her. Ive never even spoken to an employee the way she spoke to me. Rude tone and manner. SHE ALSO TRYED TO SAY NO ONE CAN SCAN IN HER STORE, only if its through their app. Never shopping at a family dollar again.

You can find some good things for a great price. I like buying my greeting cards, wrapping paper, ribbon and gift bags here. They have a good selection.

Unfortunately everything except for the paw patrol hat was either missing something or made of poor quality at an expensive price. They also offer brown bags you can buy that literally tear apart before you even leave the counter...theyre solution ....put the merchandize into another brown bag which tears apart also so then they put the 1st torn bag into the 2nd torn bag and your ended hope you have a good night....honestly if it hadnt been for the employee who had a wonderful attitude I wudda asked to speak to the manager.

They have pretty good deals and a friendly atmosphere.

I like this place because I believe you can find great priceses on the body wash, and the dish washing liquied some days when its on sale and the dishwashing liquid, and alot other household cleaning supplies

I was very disappointed in how the manager was yelling over the intercom at the cashier to get her effing self over here in front of customers also the manager was very rude breaking boxes in front of the entrance of the store not greeting people and she was just very looking very unprofessional with her hair all messed up and just being very rude this happens tonight December 10th 2017 in Merced store number 398 Family Dollar on 16th Street.

Two registers but only one is ever open. Because people steal so often from this store, you cannot take the cart to your car so dont buy anything heavy because the employees cant help you.

It was very good now that I went I looked at many boxes of new things and the store has everything and very cheap for $ 50 I bought 4 bags of food apart from soap, toilet paper and a hair conditioner

I like this store because it has many very cheap things I used to kiss up to 3 kisses a day but one of the employees was always scolding me my child and the employees are very bloody, none of them speak Spanish and if they do they do not want to speak it
