If there is a long line at the checkout, someone always jumps on another register to help. Plus, most of their sales are hard to beat when it comes to price. Sarah at the front end is an absolute all-star. She can efficiently and capably take care of many customers at any given time, and I feel that she truly cares about each of us. She deserves a raise!

Love this store. It does get busy but they do a good job at getting people in and out as quick as possible.

One of the best experiences I ever had of the Safeway even though Ive never been at this location before, comparable to the other Safeway on Val Vista & Southern (Mesa) that is equally good.

It’s ok.I only shop here because it’s closest to my house and they have ok sales and digital deals. Their regular prices are sky high and their pharmacy staff is rude.Their deli is 3 stars. Just ok in a pinch. Their produce needs help and their floral area is a joke. Never anyone there.

Experience could have been better. A lot of bare shelves. Previously purchased items no longer available.

Safeway is a preferred food shopping venue! The hygiene and safety standards are always high. Staff cs skills are consistently high. My Husband and I have their coupon app just for you and that makes foods a great price. 1st Wednesday of every month you get a 10 percent off your whole cost of shopping discount and on the 15th of each month, Veterans get the same! .....go, benefit and enjoy!

I will not be shopping here anymore. I went yesterday and bought a few things. I got home and put everything away. This morning I get up and go to make myself a nice breakfast, but instead I realize the turkey sausage links I bought were OPENED and EXPIRED. Like almost 4 WEEKS EXPIRED!!! What in the world!!! Whoever they have managing this section of the store should definitely be removed from that position. This is a normal thing all stores check for on a daily basis and here it sat for a month! Disgusting. Be careful when you shop here.

Ive been going to this GameStop for years,. Our entire nuclear family are gamers on a regular basis. The people in the store are very knowledgeable about all the new games coming out as well as having a vast knowledge of the retro games from the past. They have new and used equipment /games. T-shirts are available also etc.. and if you just like to talk shop to feed your inner nerd, this is the GameStop for you!!

Before Safeway I went to an Italian grocer hoping to purchase vinegar peppers, but the Italian grocer did not have any. Safeway had them and everything else I needed. Store is clean and well stocked and staff is friendly and professional.

Very nice grocery. Real good fresh produce section and well laid out aisles for other goods throughout the store. Meat and seafood department also well stocked. The pharmacy is effective, efficient, and has lower Rx costs than most other pharmacies. They even accept GoodRx.com. There is also a US Bank inside.

This is the local store we visit when we go in person, but weve been having the bulk of our groceries delivered for months now.Safeway gets it done right.Not instant cart. Safeway employees delivered in a refrigerated Safeway truck that you can track for your delivery.Had only one small mix-up ever. I called and they fixed it immediately.This local store is always stocked well, clean and organized and the staff always helpful.

Great service. A bagger bagged my bags. The meat counter was unattended and I had to wait 5 minutes, so hopefully the steak will be worth the wait. Ill find out at lunch today.

Great, convenient grocery store! Lots of fresh produce. When I first visited, the cashier gave me a savings card. I downloaded their app as well, which has tons of coupons. I ended up spending $8 instead of $15 the next time I visited.

Like to go to Safeway because they carry a lot of organic food. Also, they have a good deli section with hot chicken, sandwiches, potatoes and more.

Safeway is a wonderful store. Friendly staff. Fresh produce and has a newer selection of foods and bakery items that I dont see in other stores. Large parking lot, handicap parking available, public restrooms. However, Safeway is pricey.

Pharmacist very standoffish. Seemed very bothered to do his job and fill a prescription.

If youre looking for a safe place to do your shopping this is it. Since March 2020 this was the second time Ive been in a store. They run a tight ship. There are wipes, and hand sanitizer at the entrance. Theres hand sanitizer you can use at the cash register, the pharmacy and the bank.Everyone wears masks. I appreciate this is I know its just not easy to wear a mask for many hours a day.Thank you so much for all your safety that you have provided. I appreciate all of you.

Worst pharmacy ever

Clean store, friendly employees. Produce is usually fresh and a good selection; theyre rarely out of stock. Just an average grocery store with multiple brands. They are starting to carry some local vendors which is great! Their craft beer selection is also really good for a grocery store. Their bakery also offers up a lot of fresh baked goods daily. They also have a wide variety of ready made foods that make dinner easy when youre in a rush.

Starbucks was AMAZING and the deli sandwiches and wraps 👍 a little to much mayo on the sandwich. But thats my fault for saying no mayo lol

Thank you so much for being open on Christmas when I realized mid-baking that I forgot brown sugar. Everywhere else I went was closed. Even though many other people were shopping, I was in and out before my husband got inside after parking the car.Im sure many workers would have preferred to have been with family, but Im very thankful for your diligence. It was a clean store with ample of everything from what I saw unlike when I visited Walmart and baking good requirements were sparse.

Clean well let an organized, we enjoyed our vacation items shopping. There is ample parking. I was pleased that, in spite of our visiting, the store manager extended club member discounts.

For the 2nd time I have been shopping in this Safeway location, the man who I assume is the produce manager has been stocking produce with no mask.This is a shame, because of the local stores in this area of Mesa, this Safeway has the best quality produce.Please wear a mask, especially when breathing all over my fruits and veggies.
