Im looking to build a higher end pool with extensive landscaping. I called these people multiple times and left messages. I got ZERO response from them.
About 10k over other estimates. But very nice rep.
Lets all admit, buying a pool is stressful and an expensive investment. After a lot of research and meeting with a few different pool companies, we decided to go with No Limit Pools. What made them stand out was their customer service, warranty, pool equipment, reviews, and most important they own most of their crews. That was important for us because the owner of the pool company ran his crews, so he didnt have to work around other businesses schedules and subcontract everything out. We had our entire pool done in 24 DAYS! LESS THAN A MONTH FROM DAY OF DIG TO WATER IN POOL! The company does not promise every pool will go this fast, for the owner likes to under-promise and over-deliver, he was very transparent with us about this. I believe they said it usually takes around 4-6 weeks to complete. They do their best to get the pools done as fast as they can for their customers. Things just happened to work out for us, which was GREAT!Marc did a great job keeping us updated throughout the project. People need to keep in mind he is a business owner and running multiple projects at once. Sometimes it did take him some time to get back to us, but we never felt like we were not a priority. He got back to us with every question and helped us every step of the way.The other reason we loved the company was the willingness and flexibility Marc had with small changes we wanted throughout the build. We increased the size of the pool (before dig) and we added more travertine to replace our current patio. He understands things look different from paper to backyard layout. He also helped us pick out our colors for our waterfall, tile, mini pebble, and travertine. I love his motto Ill never let one of my customers build an ugly pool! Which is great, because he does this all day every day, he knows whats going to look good! I have no problem trusting a professional in their craft. Everything turned out amazing and we couldnt be happier. We are now into our 1 month of pool maintenance and things are going well. Thank you Dave, Marc and Heath for all the help and dedication to building us a beautiful pool.
We waited nearly 3 years to finish our backyard landscaping and pool project. We compared many popular pool builders. Every time we made comparisons we discovered we were getting an amazing deal with No Limit Pools.Marc Ballard (the owner) and his team built us an amazing pool with a rock waterfall (with wet steps) and grotto. Our project had over 2000 sq ft. of travertine and a pool nearly 100 perimeter feet with an in floor cleaner system. The project from day 1 of dig to swimming was less than 30 days!!! Every person that has looked at our pool love it. From the waterslide to the raised area with sheer waterfalls all the way to the skimmer cover (which is travertine, not plastic). The entire project is awesome and our family loves it.The other companies are good pool builders, but when we started to add all the travertine, in floor cleaners, sheer waterfalls and the raised areas, their price went well over our budget. Marc and No Limit Pools stayed within our budget and we could not be happier.I have recommended many friends and family to No Limit Pools and will continue to do so. Dealing with the owner since day one was a great experience. You will not be disappointed.
No Limit just finished our Pool in record time and during their busiest season. 4 weeks from start to finish! We have been very impressed with the responsiveness and communication through out the process. I will recommend No Limit to everyone I talk to that is wanting a pool/spa. Marc and Heath are awesome along with the rest of the team.
No Limit Pools and Spas just finished our new pool in June as promised! We had originally signed a contract with Paddock/Cameo Pools in March. Unfortunately, they took our deposit money and never came back to do anything! My kids were disappointed and we had to start from scratch. Me Credit Union Lender recommended using No Limit Pools, said they have a great reputation, and they were right! From the time we signed the contract to the day we were swimming in our amazing new pool was just under 5 weeks! The whole process was smooth and professional. I never had to ask about progress or next steps. The quality of work is amazing and the price was very competitive.I would recommend No Limit Pools and Spas to everyone in the market for a new pool. In addition to a great pool, you also get to support a local small business as well. You wont be disappointed with their level of service and product!
Im on my second pool with No Limit Pools & Spas. Once you decide to go with them, youll never go elsewhere. You deal directly with the owner Marc, who helps guide you through the pool design process, making sure you are getting exactly what you want out of your back yard.I recommend that you meet with other pool builders before calling No Limit. Youll then understand that Marc has your best interest in mind, while keeping your budget in check.Ive recommended No Limit Pools & Spas to my friends who were looking for a pool builder and, they not only went with No Limit, they referred them to their friends and family as well.Their also able be very price competitive, since they do not have all of the costs associated with the National Builders. If you want to be swimming in 3 weeks, call them.
Marc Ballard was exceptional to work with. He cares about every detail and focuses on quality. Each crew showed up timely, got their portion done, and Marc & Heath kept me up to date on each step. I dont want to set an expectation, but it was amazing how fast they got it done! It has now been 5 months since our pool was completed and Marc is still responsive to questions! I highly recommend No Limit Pools!
No Limit Pools transformed our backyard into an oasis. The pool was built in an amazing short period of time, displaying great project management skills. It seemed that there was progress almost every day. It fulfilled every expectation that we had. They accommodated every change that we dreamt up with ease. They formed the concrete to blend in with our existing concrete slab, so that its hard to tell which is old and which is new. We even had a repair performed after three years and it seemed liked they dropped everything to fix our pool. I would recommend No Limit Pools to everyone looking to overhaul their backyard into their new dream space.
Just got my pool and spa done. And they are awesome. Marc and Heath are awesome. I usually stay for 6 to 7 years and buy a new build home. I will use No Limit pools and spas again. Thank you guys.
Had our pool built nearly 3 years ago and still love it!! Impressed by the speed No Limit came out to do a warranty repair (minor repair needed in a few tiles due to expansive soil.) Highly recommend building a pool with No Limit!
Quote did not include everything asked for, was supposed to come back to quote the rest, but we have not heard from them after several weeks. Asked them for quotes because the reviews were great, but I did not have a great experience
Marc and his team were amazing with our pool renovation. We added a heater - hot tub - new pebbletec and a natural rock waterfall. From start to finish they were quick - expert and everything turned out better than expected. Quote time was 6 weeks to completion and in 3 weeks to the day we were filling our new beautiful oasis with water. Highly recommend this team to make your pool dreams come true!
We are glad we went with Marc and No Limit Pools. Our pool ended up being bigger than originally planned due to an error on Marcs estimate. He made it right by not charging us for his error. He sticks to his word by delivering what he promises and makes good on any mistakes he makes. He is honest and straight forward with his business. If you want it done on time (ours was done earlier than promised) and by someone who knows how to efficiently build a great pool call No Limit. His pricing and service are second to none.
I have never been so Happy about a Pool. This is the third pool I have built and by far the Best. The Customer Service was off the top and from start to finish the process flowed. I went from dirt to pool in 27 days. I highly recommend No Limit Pools & Spas. You WILL NOT be disappointed. Thank you for the Great Job!!!
Marc Ballard, owner of No Limit Pools, and his team build stunning pools. They are professional, thorough, respectful, helpful and go above and beyond. To say they know what it means to delight their customers is an understatement. The details, thought process and care they put into their work is evident from start to finish. Pride of craftsmanship is apparent and it means love and enjoyment of your backyard as a homeowner. We look out our windows, sit on our patio and float in our pool with smiles on our faces because we know and see we made the right choice by selecting No Limit Pools.
Spent a lot of money for this pool and was told there would be communication and supervision, very little of that occurred, unless to pick up a check, there was no quality control at all, no detail work, and when given a list and promised supervision would happen that didnt occur either, my advise dont use them, to much ego and not enough knowledge in there work, make sure you no who the real license holder is in this company, this coming from a contractor who had thought they had done enough research on the subject .
No Limit Pools has exceeded our expectations in every way! They are professional in their planning, construction, and customer service. They were able to take our general ideas and create our perfect pool. The process was thoroughly explained, extremely fast, high quality, and low stress for us. We recommend No Limit Pools to any family that wants to transform their backyard into a dream!Jeff and Danielle Houseman
No Limit Pools was the 3rd builder that we contacted prior to starting our project. The responsiveness, the creativity, and the overall professionalism that Marc and his team displayed were the main reasons that we decided to go with No Limit Pools. Our project is done now and my wife and I couldnt be happier. We are left with a one of a kind pool and patio (in only 6 weeks!!!) that the entire family absolutely loves. Marc and Heath have been great to work with and I would highly recommend No Limit Pools. Henry
The No Limit Team did an amazing job on our pool and our entire backyard. They finished everything within 30 days, their management team and staff are extremely professional and on task and they do a great job following up every week with their maintenance program. I highly recommend Marc, Heath and the rest of the team.
We decided to use No Limit Pools after considering five other companies and it turned out to be a great decision. We love our pool, especially the in-floor cleaning system, and have been extremely satisfied with the service we have received since it was completed. In the selection process we conversed with all six companies as we revised our plans and sought answers to many questions. We found Marc Ballard of No Limit to be the most responsive in all respects. We would go directly to No Limit without hesitation should we ever have another pool project in the future.
Saw a driver for these guys moving 70 down ray road in eastmark today. I can imagine they perform their work with the same level of responsibility. If you like your roads safe in your neighborhood dont hire them to do work.
Great company! Very happy with our new pool and spa. These guys started our pool on August 19th and it was finished on September 12th. Amazing! Highly recommend people, you won’t be disappointed.
I recently completed a project with No Limit Pools and the following summarizes my experience buildinga pool with them. I purchased a “new construction” residence in a master planned community in Mesa,Arizona. The developer “partnered” with a well-known Valley pool builder and that seemed like the wayto go until I began to do my research. There were mixed reviews not only relating to the finishedproducts, but the way in which the pool builder communicated, scheduled, and held to theircommitments. I am a professional construction manager myself and I saw this as a huge warning flag. Ilooked into some of the other “majors” in the market and over and over again the same issues werebeing raised. I began to question who, if anyone, I was going to be able to work with to get this projectdone. This decision was made more critical because I would not be able to be on site at any time duringthe build.I came across No Limit Pools while researching pool builders on the internet. What immediately caughtmy attention was the lack of any bad reviews or outstanding complaints with the BBB or ArizonaRegistrar of Contractors. I called Marc to set up an appointment. He met me at the raw lot on a daythat I was in town for a meeting with the developer. I had painted out the location of the back walls andpatio for the proposed residence so he could see the amount of room we had available to work with.We had a discussion of wants and needs and set about to painting out an outline of the proposedpool/spa on the dirt. (Keep in mind your pool will look bigger when it is dug than it does painted out onthe ground.) A few days later, Marc emailed a rendering of the proposed pool. We discussed somechanges and he provided a second rendering. Time went by (we had to wait for the residence to becompleted and close on the deal before he could start the build) and we talked back and forth over thephone a few times about refining this detail and that. Never was there any pressure to “sign now or losethe deal” or “get us a deposit to get you into the build queue” or any of the other builders’ high pressureploys to get you committed. The week we closed on the property, I had Marc back out to the site onefinal time. I had staked the pool out exactly as I wanted it and we discussed the final design, layout, andfinishes. These were incorporated into the contract and we signed the deal and turned over the deposit.I left that week with Marc’s assurance “don’t worry, we’ve got this”. I did not return to Arizona until thepool was filled and running. This was the first pool build I have been involved in and I have to say, I have no real regrets with theoutcome. Everything is the done the way we wanted it, the workmanship is professional, the equipmentis appropriately sized and performs flawlessly. Heath came by and went over the equipment operation, programmed the automation, and we discussed the few “punch list” items they would be taking care of.This is exactly how it should be done.As a construction professional, I would never recommend a person drop “luxury car” money on a projectwhen they couldn’t be present during the build. But my circumstances required that this was the way Ihad to do this and I can’t imagine a better company to leave the task to than Marc Ballard and No LimitPools.
To have a pool of our own was a dream of ours for over 10 years now, but finding the right company was like choosing the right pediatrician for your child. We had heard of various not-so-great experiences with other major pool building companies, and were a bit hesitant in seeking out their service in building one for us. This is a huge investment for us, or for anyone in that matter, and we wanted the right company for this project. It wasn’t until we saw a sign for “No Limits” pools and spas in the front yard of a family member’s property that reignited the desire to have a pool of our own. After asking various questions on the build process, the experience, and what kind of warranties were offered, we knew that No Limits would be the best fit us. They even have an A+ rating with the BBB.From the design, excavation, installation of the plumbing, electrical, shot-crete, travertine, and interior materials for the pool, the quoted lead time on the pool build was 4-6 weeks from the day the permits were received. No Limits held true to this. If there was anything wrong, No Limits resolved those issues immediately. As a bonus, they also monitor and take care of the pool for an additional 30 days after build, which is extremely helpful for those who don’t know much about taking care of pools (like us).I just wanted to say “thank you!” to Marc, Heath, Dave and team for patiently walking us through this process and for building us the pool of our dreams that exceeds our expectations. We know we made the right choice and look forward for the memories ahead.
My wife and I discussed building a pool with 3 other builders before we decided to go with No Limit Pools. Our decision came down to several key reasons, including lots of great reviews across Facebook, Google+, the BBB and other various sources, but ultimately came down to dealing with Marc and the responsiveness of the company.Ill admit, we were really nervous at first. I mean, who wouldnt be spending this much money and trusting a company to follow through with whom you hadnt much experience with before? All those fears were laid to rest quickly. Marc said our pool would be done in about 3 - 4 weeks. I snickered at first, but when the ground breaking began, it didnt stop. This was a major project, but was the least stressful thing Ive ever been involved in. Marc was out almost everyday at the job making sure everything was completed properly for the day.Marc would explain each leg of the project, then wed see that executed as he had stated. All in all, we went from ground breaking to swim trunks in 3.5 weeks. There were a few things that needed buttoned up that Marc and Jimmy were able to get squared away for us. No Limit Pools went above and beyond with the pool and the features we received. Now we have our landscaping completed and really got to enjoy the pool for the last couple of months before the cooler weather kicked in. Now we really cant wait for the weather to kick up again! Thanks Marc and the No Limit Pool team! :-)
Marc from No Limits Pool just completed our new pool and we couldnt be happier with the results. The quoted time for completion was 4-6 weeks and our pool was completed in just under 4 weeks. Marc met all scheduling promises and kept us well informed of next steps. He and his crew completed this project with very little disruption to our normal lives as me and my wife work out of our home. They also kept the construction debris to a minimum and as a result our home did not have that under construction look to it. As a result of our experience we highly recommend No Limit Pools.Hugh Hughes
My entire experience from start to finish with the entire No Limit team was professional, honest and knowledgable. My pool turned out exactly as I had always dreamed and done so on time and on budget. My neighbor went with a competitor that started sooner and finished well after our pool. I couldnt recommend No Limit any more if you want it done right the first time.
Finding the best pool builder is an arduous task, especially when you have never built or owned a pool. We knew one thing was for sure, not to sacrifice quality for cost. A couple referrals from friends and family led us to get quotes from Presidential Pools and National Pools & Spas respectively. A few other quotes came from Internet searches. Our friends highly referred Presidential because of the sheer size of the company and their likely hood to be in business to service their warranty. Ironically, almost every other company had a common warning about them despite, and some in spite, of their size. My brother-in-law referred National mainly for their competitive price against Shasta Pools. After lots of research and reading reviews online, we (actually my wife) found No Limit Pools & Spas.No Limit was the only pool builder with a perfect record on the Better Business Bureau site. They had no record of complaints or resolutions. What surprised us was they were the only company with a positive review with BBB. After reading many of their customer reviews, I called Marc for a quote. He was very straight forward and disclosed everything we needed to know about his pricing strategy and building process. Although he stressed that he does not compete on price alone, but strive to maintain quality and customer satisfaction, his quote was fairly reasonable in comparison with the ones we already received. We heard from others that their pool building process took long due to conflicts with scheduling contractors. We hoped for a quick build process since it was already late August. Despite our financial situation and long loan process timeline, Marc agreed to start the process. We threw a curve ball at him by moving the whole pool further away from our house (looks different with paint on the ground than on paper). The move was significant enough to require new permits. However, he absorbed the change and kept the same schedule with added cost to expedite the permit. We are so glad he accommodated the move since it gave us more room to add other features where we wanted. The whole process, from starting excavation to filling the pool, was a total of 28 days. There was no unnecessary delays due to sub-contractor schedule conflicts. They completed our pool about two weeks before we expected based on typical build times, even before we would have gotten final funding for the loan. That came in just in the nick of time to avoid delay because I kept nagging the loan officer.Marc at No Limit Pools & Spas is one of the best pool builders who truly cares about customer satisfaction and will ensure the pool is built right. We never worried if they were letting our project sit idle due to other projects. We even had to go out of town for a week during the critical time when you had to keep the shotcrete wet. To avoid delay to schedule, he took care of that part as well. It was a pleasant surprise when we came back to find the pool practically completed. We had a great experience with No Limit Pools & Spas and would definitely recommend them to our friends and family.
After finally deciding that we wanted to do a swimming pool in our backyard, we set out on trying to find the right pool builder. As most of those who have had pools built know, this is no easy task. The last pool we put in was a builder special – we were incentivized to go with a mainstream pool builder. We were just happy to get one with the house we built and we were not very informed on the pool process. It was later on we noticed the defects and problems that came with the cookie cutter builder special. With our adventure into another pool, we wanted to be more careful. We visited with another pool builder and actually had a signed deposit. After seeing their bid constantly getting increased because they “forgot” something or needed to add something, we decided to get a second option. I am so glad that I found No Limit Pools. After reading their testimonials on their website, I inquired if Marc could meet us for an estimate. As I work outside of Phoenix during the week, the only day I was available was Saturday. Marc went out of his way, on his day off, to ensure we met with someone and was able to get a bid. His bid came in at around the same price as the other pool company, but with many extra features and better equipment. He even had 3D Pool imaging showing the pool in the backyard!During the pool building process with No Limit Pools, I was amazed at the speed at which the build was progressing. Each day, there was someone there to continue the building process. This was way more thorough and faster than the last pool we had with the builder. In fact, I was so impressed, that halfway through the pool bid, I asked for a bid for pavers, firepit, and pergola in addition to my pool. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, but the cost of this phase two project was less than others I had received bids for and we went forward with that phase at the same time as the pool. From start of dig to the completion, No Limit Pools has been fantastic to work with. Marc is super responsive to texts, phone calls, and emails and guides you along the process. I will definitely be telling everyone that No Limit Pools prides itself on meeting and exceeding your expectations and does quality workmanship along the way. If we didn’t go out of town for a week, our pool would have been completed in only 4 weeks!Regards,Bryan and Kim Baker
Our backyard oasis turned out way beyond our expectations! We have had so many compliments! Granted, we were fairly firm with our pool/spa size/layout, water feature, water line tile, ledgestone, PebbleTec choices, travertine and barbeque island. Marc was flexible on this! As promised, from dig to water, less than four weeks! Great workmanship and professionalism on the part of his staff. Follow up has been amAZing. Back everything they do! A special thanks to Heath! We highly recommend No Limit!!!
We were looking around for a pool and had several companies supply us with quotes. We put the pool process on hold. We saw an advertisement for No Limit Pool & Spas in the booklet of adds in the mail. We called the company and spoke with Marc. He came out and we told him what all we wanted. Marc came out and explained the quote and the products that his company offers. Which I really liked as everyone else sent us an emailed quote and the break down which made no sense to me as their product was not explained. Just pretty much a bill and tell me when can they start. We were explained in person the breakdown of the quote when it was available. We then said we will be in contact and there was no pressure and no daily calls/emails asking for our decision. We then called and stated we were ready to pursue with his company. We had a few changes in the quote and there was no hassle to try and upsell and persuade us to stay with the original quote. We were then quoted a 4-6 week build time. That following Monday, the pool was outlined in our back yard and we were pending the license from the city. That Thursday the hole was dug. Every day during the week there was someone at our house working on the pool. There were no days in between that someone wasn’t there to do something to the pool. From the day the hole was dug to the day we were swimming was less than 3 weeks. Due to them having someone out there everyday verses several days in between with no one there is why they could complete in such a timely matter. I watched the process and there were no shortcuts being taken. His crew took their time and did it correctly the first time. The crew was very friendly and said hello every morning when I saw them and never made a mess of things. They did what they were there to do daily and cleaned up for the next piece of the pool to be completed. We did already have landscaping in the back yard and they moved and replaced what they could. I never had to question anything out of the normal pool process. Our block wall was only down for a day which I loved as I wasn’t fond of having an opening to our backyard for the full process like I’ve seen others do. Everything daily met our expectations. After final inspection for all of our outside doors, which was done on a Friday, they were there on Saturday doing the pebble (which was very interesting to watch) and water was added and filled by Sunday night. Monday they came and added the chemicals and we were swimming that night. After the water was added and chemicals put in, Marc came over and explained everything that we needed to know about how the pool system works and stayed to make sure that we understood. It’s nice to actually work with the owner of the company and not sales people who come and go and need training. It’s their product that they use everyday and actually know the in’s and out’s. Marc kept us posted on the whole process and we knew everything that was going on. I felt like this was not just a business he was running, it is his passion and takes pride in his work and his crew. We are so happy with our decision to go with this company and would use them over and over again.
I wanted to share my experience with No Limit Pools to assure anyone looking to build a pool or spa, that deciding to break ground with them will not be a mistake. Not only are they knowledgeable experts, but they are honest, quick and hassle free. You will not have to call them several times hoping they come start work or worrying if theyll be back to finish the job. I dealt with the company all on my own, my husband left the entire project up to me.Marc Ballard was referred to me from a friend. Marc happened to also be my neighbor. He quickly responded to my call and talked me through the process. I had previously met with another pool builder and I wasnt sold. After talking with Marc he made suggestions to me that the other builder had not, such as going with travertine instead of pool decking, because of the longevity and cooler properties of the stone. Pool decking constantly cracks and gets hotter. the price was comparable and seemed the better choice. Esthetically it looks better as well. Also, he told me they only design with pebble tec, which lasts for years. The other company I met with was going to have me use a white plaster that would only last a few years. He responded to all my texts and emails promptly no matter what time of day. When I accidentally messed up a meeting time, he called me and said he would wait the twenty minutes for me to arrive.A very nice designer named Dave met with me and showed me designs on his lap top so I could visually see from all angles. He gave me helpful suggestions and designed it exactly how I envisioned. I built my pool around my needs to want a rectangular contemporary lap pool with a large baja step at the entrance for my three year old to play and another shorter baja step at the other end for her to swim from one end to the other. He assured me that I could always add and change things before they ordered supplies. When it came time to order the pebble and tile and nice gentleman named Heath, was able to help me choose the perfect pebble with beautiful iridescent pieces of stone that sparkle in the sun. I wanted a mosaic tile and he was able to help find me the perfect color pattern to match the pebble.Everything took three weeks after they got the permit. Amazingly, the excavator was there before the hoilday, so I would have to wait till after the long weekend.I know my neighbors that went with other pool companies waited months for theirs to be finished. My family and I were able to enjoy the pool all summer.I wanted to wait to write my review till after the monsoon season had started so I could rate their in-floor cleaning. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it cleans. It was the best investment in the pool design.I want to thank Marc, Dave, and, Heath for such an amazing job on the pool and stress free experience. My body as never been in better shape from all the swimming. There is nothing more relaxing than swimming under the stars at night either.Happy client,Tonia Carreon
No Limt pools finished our pool in 30 days, they set a time and marc sticks to it. He has the connections and crews to get it done ASAP.
Contacted these guys via email for a quote, received an email back 4 days later inquiring what days would work for me next week. Responded to email telling them what days would work, never heard back.
