Nothing against the people who work there, but this place has become a neighborhood eyesore. It’s constantly junky with trash and tall grass littering the parking lot and area.Many remarkable citizens are working hard to keep this part of Mesquite looking as nice as possible, but with places like this Dollar General, that’s becoming a losing battle.We have contacted the city and council and hope this place cleans up and earns its right to stay in the neighborhood.

Ive only been here a few times because I dont live in the area but love to stop by after seeing my grandmother. Its always tidy, and my time with the staff has always been friendly and polite. The sales are great!

I love this Dollar general but the whole store has flipped all the people that work there are no longer there and its a whole new group of people working there and the store doesnt say stop like it used to but as far as work staff they are great people!!

Have what I need and can get in and out quicker than the grocery store.

Good place to get household items and quick snacks. Went in looking for storage containers but was disappointed, there were containers but the lids were missing. Not sure how that happens but anyway. Same problem at another location down the street.

I bought groceries for the 1st time in nearly a year and dive with $2 general to pick up some things I needed and the fast there with so friendly and so helpful I really appreciated it and I found nearly everything that I needed. But I guess with their crisis thats going on I was lucky To find everything except A can ofbiscuits

The people who work there are always so nice to me and helpful, no matter what time of day it is. To me, the store is pretty organized.

It seems each time I go to it its inventory seems rather low. The cashier is always pleasant and nice to me.

First of all Im a free American and dont believe i should be told in a harsh voice to put a mask on when i enter a business. Thats exactly what happened when entering this Dollar GeneralI was not asked to please put on your mask, i was told my an employee, in a harsh voice to put it on!!. That employee is not good at customer relations. Just a side note, how does an employee get away with wearing pajamas to work, just saying.

Dollar generals are very unprofessional how are you going to let literally one customer take the whole Box of lysol sprays I was up there today on June the 5th you can see all these black people take in the boxes no 1 said nothing to them just because corporate office say that we should make customers happy know where R equal here this is very unfair just like every other store in Dallas have limits

This store is clean and organized! The cashier was very pleasant even though she was temporarily overwhelmed. She seamed to not have back up. This is the reason for the 4/5.

Clean store and always a great store to get something I need quick with no long lines. The staff needs to smile more (but Diane is wonderful. Such a great woman and always makes me laugh when I come in).

They have the greatest keepsake boxes. I now have 4 with treasures my grandchildren have made for me. And, they love to see that I have a special place for all those handmade treasures.

I had a bunch of items & no basket, the lady that worked there went out of her way to get me a basket so that I could continue to shop... Talk about customer service!

I love Dollar General great prices, have everything you need except for meat like pork chops, and hamburger meat, chicken and sausage.

Dollar General could do a lot better if theyd have more than one cashier I said this over and over when you have five six seven people standing in line should have at least two registers open.

Store clerk extremely kind and friendly. This location, I can usually always count on for those hard to find items (like the Icy Hot Roll-on and BC Arthritis powders - the green packaged ones!) Great home decor picture selections. Love the little craft aisle! Great store and parking always! P.S. They have some good grocery items too. I always buy their Clover Valley Italian Dressing, and the Ranch as well. Cant beat their economical prices for fixed-income and working folks! Thanks, Dollar General!

This place is always a mess dont understand how a manager can manage a store looking like this. Shelves are always empty. It needs someone in there who can clean up that store. It could be a great location for it but everyone drives to the one down the street. It has better ratings.. Js

The entire store was packed full of merchandise. You couldnt get down a few of the rows. Way too much merchandise for normal stocking. Cashier was super nice but there were two men walking around discussing all the stuff & they were in the way & ignoring customers.

Store is ALWAYS in disarray.. only one person is ever at cash registers. Never stocked.. and this is a fairly new store

There are 5 dollar generals within a mile of here.. I figure why not go to one that is so hit and miss. Use to have great staff and customer service, now all replaced with rude cashiers. Dirty and aisles stacked constantly. Hard to move around. The cold drink cooler will be empty for weeks but the shelves will have the drinks warm.

Shopped this store to buy gardening seeds because the store three blocks down the street had them on sale for 90% off. But they rang up for 70% off instead. The refused to match the price of the Dollar General three blocks away. Chain wide constancy is a better form of customer service than this.

Horrible. A kid asked a lady that works there where the batteries were, she looked at him and said I dont know. He said ok thank you and walked away. She looked at her coworker and said I dont have time for all of that. I looked at her and shook my head. I found the boy and showed him where the batteries were. She was very unprofessional.

Great staff, plenty if products and clean store.

Very clean compared to the other Dollar Generals I have been to. They dont have boxes piled up waiting for someone to do their job.

The rudist! I went into this Dollar General to buy some things. As I went to ask the girl stocking a question, (the girl with the red fro) she ignored me with a look on her face like, dont bother me! I said excuse me for the second time. Then I asked her if they were putting out any more fabric softener. She was so mean and hateful acting, she said meanly, when I find it.No customer service skills what so ever. I put everything I had back. I will never shop there again and I dont recommend them.

This has to be the worst Dollar General I have experienced. I have had issues at another but never to the point of this. Rachel Long accused my boys of stealing (they were not). When I called for her name to report her she was rude and hung up on me. When I called back I told her I would come to the store to get her name and she in turn called the police. When I arrived at the store I told the police I had called. I guess its ok to accuse kids of stealing since 90% of the kids in the store that steal are black (the cops actual statement). I am outraged that my kids were accused solely on the color of their skin. Also I was told that they had stolen before but this is the FIRST AND LAST time we will ever go into that store and I will never visit a dollar general again. This lady should be fired!
