John is an honest, fair, quick mechanic. He also offers me a ride home and/or back to my home (I dont live far though). I keep my cars till they die, he helps the oldies stay healthy and maintained. Great service from other mechanics there too.

The people who work here are so helpful. They took my car last minute and fixed my rim and did an oil change for me. They also fixed my boyfriends car for a fraction of what he was quoted other places. Highly recommend this company next time you need something done on your car.

I wish I could leave a 5-star review after every time John&co. have fixed my car because every experience Ive had with Beacon Hill is perfection. I deeply regret the handful of years prior to my first referral to Beacon Hill, Ive been to a dozen auto repair shops all over (my cars have always been... finnicky) and every new shop I tried was the same old headache-- Id be immobilized for multiple days and charged exorbitantly for sub-par work. My bar for mechanics was set super low based on a string of hideous past experiences, so every time my car is serviced now at Beacon Hill Auto the process is so expedient and reasonable, that I cant help but wonder if there is literal magic afoot!John and his team at Beacon Hill Auto are the friendly, honest, neighborhood mechanics you dream about. Had AC issues on my car and had a so call Mechanic supposedly fix my issue but really didnt ended up having more issues that werent there before. Got a recommendation from my boss to see John who was straight forwards from the beginning didnt assume anything said he can fix it and did in one shot. Wish I knew of him before my car and wallet got butchered. He is AMAZING definitely will be recommending him to everyone I know.

My family and I have been relying on Beacon Hill Auto for around eight years. What keeps me coming back is their integrity; Ive never been high-balled or cheated by them and they have always had a reasonable price and solution for my car troubles. I feel like I can really trust their skill and honesty, which is why Ive been relying on them for so long and will continue to rely on them.

Recently had both my CV axles replaced by Beacon Hill. After it was complete, the first time I took it on the highway the steering wheel had a bad shimmy starting around 65. Told John right away. He said to drop it off. I did. He rebalanced all my wheels and rotated my tires (free of charge no less). Test drive 2: no shimmy. Old school shop. Good work, fair prices and hometown feel. Id go to again.

When I first moved into the neighborhood over 20 years ago, I received two recommendations for a mechanic. I went to the first one. He immediately informed me that I needed $1,100 worth of body work on my car, pushing the back down and showing me how it didn’t pop up fast enough or something like that. I left there and went to the second location which was yours. John looked at the car and said there was absolutely nothing wrong with it except for the oil change that that I came in for in the first place. I never did need any body work on the car.Since that time, I have always appreciated that I could rely on Beacn Hill to honestly and competently assess any problems in my cars and repair them appropriately, and while doing so, always charge a fair price. I particuarly look back fondly on that Mercury Villager that John managed to eek out over 300, 000 miles. In a business that is not always known for its integrity, it is reassuring to be in such hands. It is my wish that this business continues to flourish as it deserves to, and that I will be able to continue to rely on its expertise for years to come.
