Love Meijer cuz its just about in my backyard! AND the only store of any kind open till midnight in Michigan City. HOWEVER, the ONLY time to get EVERYTHING is Saturday morning. This store has empty shelves all week long. They say its their purveyors, but why does ev1 else in town (Walmart and Aldis) have the things Meijers doesnt? Its a difficult store to navigate cuz its GIGANTOR and things arent where you think they should be. OR theyre in 3 or 4 different locations. Walk in the door and to your right is produce, deli, bakery; to the left of bakery is the bread aisle. Dairy is against the back wall and it is Aisle 15. GET THIS. AISLE 16 is bread! Mm hmm. Count with me . . . 16, 1, 2, 3 . . . Ugggh. LOL.

Easy in and out. Has pretty good meats and produce. Most dry items are cheaper than other places. Dairy prices are always competitive.Convenient way to get a bunch of shopping done in one place.would be nice if they had larger selection of shoes and clothes.Pharmacy is quick to get items and check you out. I have not gone to deli counter yet. I like the bread. But have not tried any other bakery items. Self check out is the way to go. Location is nice that you have 30 and wolf to get where you are going.

No cashiers, half the self check outs were shut down. But the store was clean and they actually had meat unlike Walmart

Meijer is a pretty good regional alternative to a superstore like Walmart or Target. Its comparable in every way. Some locations are better than others in terms of cleanliness and general upkeep. Stocking is also hit or miss. But the same can really be said of any superstore. At the end of the day, its the prices that keep you coming back. And Meijers pricing is always fair. They also do deals regularly, so look for yellow tags as youre shopping around!

Meijer always has everything we need. Their app makes life easier and more convenient. Their delivery helped us more than words can express during our covid battle. Well always shop there.

I used to like shopping at Meijer, but now they never seem to have things that I need in stock.

This Meijer has never recovered from their remodel/covid. The shelves are almost always bare and some of their other stock is just non existent. Still a great store but isn’t above the standard of a Walmart anymore.

I do my grocery shopping there. Their produce is pretty good there. I like that they spaced out their shelves, seems less crowded.

We found quite a few dairy free things so my daughter can continue to breastfeeding my grandson. Very happy to find the things we need.

The go to big store for stock up stuff. Although they do have a nice variety of specialty items to be found in each of the major departments, Deli, Meat/seafood and the bakery. There has been some stocking issues in the past, but, that seems to have been resolved. Shelves have been stocked and endcaps full, even when running sales on something specific.

Well they are overpriced ridiculously. They never have everything in stock litterally every single time we come here there is something we cant get on our list so we always have to use more gas to go to another store, (usually Walmart because they stock theyre shelves) so we should have just gone to Walmart for it all. And on top of it all they have been out of dos equis beer the last 7 times Ive come here. Why dont they know how to do their jobs and STOCK THE PRODUCT. And I dont buy into all this we have manufacture delays because where I work weve been able to get everything on the trucks everytime. They just dont care about doing their jobs right.

Nice department and grocery store. Good clothing including Carhartt & Levis. Large sporting goods section, housewares & toys. Supermarket has a lot of unique items.Restrooms are up front inside foyer.Looked at several items that did not have prices. Check outs only available at one end... not the end where we parked.

Just popped in to grab some snacks while on a road trip. There was a decent selection, tho they were out of some things (single serve milk bottles, Pringles sour cream and onion). The self checkout was pretty awesome.

Very large store with a great variety. Clean store with quick and friendly service.

The prices are a little bit higher than other stores. But its a great store to shope around.

Went there to get dog food and the Meijer app said it was in stock but they were completely out of Purina One and Rachel Rays Nutrish then I went to get some Neapolitan ice cream and there was none of that either. Ive been hearing from other people that shop here that this Meijer hasnt been stocked good for quite some time. And Im from Michigan but work in M.City guess Ill take my business back to Michigan.

I generally like Meijer versus most stores but the lack of cashiers and open self checkout lanes in the evening and other times of the day is ridiculous. It was bad pre covid and its only been worse lately.

This is my favorite place to shop in town and normally they do a really great job, but lately, not so much. The staff seem like they checked out in most departments and they rarely seem to order enough of anything to last a full week. It used to be great, but it keeps getting worse every visit. Still better than Walmart though.

Horrible checkout experience. Few lines open. Those that are open are S L O W . You even wait in line for self checkout so you can help Meyers get rid of more people to make more money for their greedy selves. Good thing for Meyers Michigan City there is no real local competition.

Love Cilla she does a fabulous job cutting my hair and color it. Her shop is a treasure of crafts and paintings. You need to visit her.

Big selection of products some things overpriced!

Meijer is a another big box, we have everything, store. But when compared to Walmart it is really lacking.Almost every item is more expencive here than Walmart. Sometimes by quite a bit.The store itself is nice, clean and well laid out. The one thing Meijer gets glowing reviews from me is their pharmacy. Their pharmacy is the exact opposite of the store itself. Low prices, friendly staff, I would 1000% recommend their pharmacy. They will go out of their way to try to help.

My Dr. Electronically sent my scripts into the pharmacy. When I went to pick them up I was told it would be half an hour. I explained that I needed to be to work soon and the pharmacy technician.. got them to me in less than 10 minutes. She was kind and professional. I truly appreciated being treated so well.

Like this store for somethings and thing that are on sale. They have great produce! 😊

Christina in the Bakery, Amazing!Were very picking about special b-day cake orders & have had the same person do ours for 12+yrs & gave Mejier a chance.Only because after speaking with Christina, she knew exactly what we were wanting.Not only was it beautiful but, taste with Chocolate & Whip cream was excellent and not super sweet.Meijer should be grateful to have Christina & she definitely knows what she is doing.Thanks Christina!

Great store. Very helpful employees. But... Out of taco sauce!? I know that restaurants are having a hard time getting the packets due to Covid, oddly enough, and it was Taco Tuesday, but its the winter surge scientists predicted if people acted irresponsibly and now...out of taco sauce. If everyone would just grow the F up and wear a mask Taco Tuesday wouldnt be missing our beloved taco sauce.

Lots of empty shelves. Rising prices. Cant find anyone to ask for help. The usual for this store. As I was leaving, the front end manager was more worried about 3 people working one door then making sure there were enough people helping all the customers in line. Typical for this place.

Said order was ready( after we waited for 4 hrs. To leave to make the time) then we get there and not ready! So we had to do are shopping regularly after waiting the time we waited for the slot!! Smdh

Cashier needed a cash pickup for her register because it was locked. We waited more than 20 minutes for a manager to come. The cashier had to call twice more and customers left

Very clean, found the items I wanted. Clerk was very helpful when I was in the self check out, dont like using self check out.

They never have enough registers open. Waited thirty minutes to check out and had to throw away the ice cream in my cart. Completely unacceptable that they will never open up more than two registers.

Just used their home delivery service for the first time. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. They used a shipt shopper named Renee and my stuff was bagged perfectly nothing mashed or leaky, everything was grouped together properly. The service had great communication and was FAST!!! It had coupons on mejiers app to were it was actually a free service and I even SAVED money!!! I honestly cant say enough nice things about this mejiers home delivery service. Well done and fairly earned the FULL 5 STARS 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 ...They are FAR superior to walmarts curbside pickup btw.

Ill NEVER be back!! I spent over an hour scavenging for what I could find cuz theyre out of everything. There wasnt one cashier in the entire store. I began scanning my $250+ weekly groceries(an entire cart full) and the screen immediately freezes. I wait while 3 ladies were giggling amongst themselves at the service area. I asked for help and she says, thank you and have a nice night. At that point I just chose to go home without the groceries. They cant pay one cashier to check people out yet they pay 3 to have happy hour while we do their job!!?? Im done with Meijer, probably for good.

I enjoy shopping at night because there are not many people in the store. The employees are stocking shelves which usually is not an issue but tonight it was bad. I couldnt even get down the isle.

Nice to shop there fresh veggies are the best selection in town but lack of real people helping check out is frustrating must have been 100 or more people in the store and only 3 cashier please help the people that are not computer and tech savvy with real people helping will be a 4.8 star at that point

More lanes were open and I got out way faster than I did at Walmart... The store Walmart ALWAYS has 1 or 2 lanes open and the lines are a lot slower than Meijer in my location. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND for a lot of people to go to Meijer more.

Always busy, but customer service is always exceptional. Store is always clean and stocked well.

I used to love this store. Always had a great selection. Not anymore. By adding walls, they lost valuable space. Pathetic soft drink selection. Now when you shop, you are constantly asking wheres this or that. The pet food selection is way in the far corner of the store making you traverse the whole store. Till Im done shopping, my back is killing me and Im totally exhausted. The cat food selection is sparce at best. Not my favorite anymore.

Grocery pick up. Several items not in order when arrived home but not told they were out of stock. Wrong flavor for several items.While the service is convenient, I now have to get items elsewhere and I am already home.
