Received a call regarding a covid booster. They were not prepared for people to come in, as I had to wait for ages. I understand the vaccines are tough to handle, but this was a frustrating experience. I hope this is not usually the case.
This location is open until 10:00pm which is good to know since I even end up going there as so many stores n quick stores close earlier ever since Covid began. Keith is new there and he is so helpful and store already looks better n has more inventory since he came aboard. All staff is friendly and yes, sometimes lines get long as still a little bit short staffed. Very convenient if you are new to town as on University Ave
I have just moved here. My pharmacy has not yet caught up with my change of address. Walgreens is very protective of my privacy, and I appreciate that.
Love this place. I miss it was there every day staff is like family cant wait to come visit
Nice pharmacy. Helpful staff. Clean.
Ive used this pharmacy for over 10 years. They are professional, caring and competent. Looking at some of the other reviews is a little confusing, because they are related to Walgreens polices everywhere, not just this one. Anyway, I think theyre great.
Dont bother trying to make a covid vaccine appointment, even if you are in an eligible group. Their pharmacy staff wont hesitate to cancel it and give your appointment to someone 65+. They also dont offer to help you reschedule it, only refer you to their malfunctioning scheduling website.
Totally short staffed, even without Covid. Lines all the time having to wait fifteen minutes 90% of my visits. Unfriendly workers and so is one manager. Not helpful and short with you like Im asking to borrow money. That guy is one rude person. Cashiers never say thank you just hand the merchandise. One pharmacist is friendly the rest overworked. I dont know what is wrong with their system but everytime I need a refill on two prescriptions it turns out to be the biggest ordeal. Im changing pharmacies.I hate this place.
A lot of problems with the pharmacy. Seems like they have issues communicating with doctors on the back end.
They usually have a vast selection of anything were looking for. Pharmacies are always helpful and its usually well staffed. Super convenient location with great hours
Website has correct store hours but doesnt indicate anywhere that the pharmacy closes early, at 6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
The pharmacy resident was (pratish?) was very incompetent, rude, and unprofessional. My husband went today to pick up a Tamiflu prescription for my 5 month old with influenza. First of all the pharmacy NEVER placed a courtesy call when the prescription was ready and then when I called in on 2 separate occasions claimed not to have prescription. It finally took my pediatrician’s office calling multiple times over 24 hours after it was originally prescribed to investigate the matter. Mind you this a TIME dependent medication (should be given in first 48 hours of symptoms) and a high risk patient due to her young age. Then, when my husband went to finally pick up the prescription the pharmacy “intern” was trying to tell him he doesn’t have insurance and should pay $180 out of pocket (and even then wouldn’t give him the medication). We have active insurance (I am healthcare professional myself) and have been picking up prescription at this Walgreens for almost 2 years. The most recent prescription was 2 days ago for my son. Instead of just explaining to my husband that she needed to see the pharmacy benefit card when he presented his health insurance card, she told him if he doesn’t have insurance he’d have to pay out of pocket. While this is going on, she scoffs at my 4 year old son who is getting upset and getting over a severe case of influenza himself. Out of frustration, my husband called me up at home while I was taking care of our sick baby. I ask to talk to the pharmacy intern who was immediately rude. I asked her if she needed the pharmacy benefit card twice. She did not answer me. Keep stating she needed a PCN number. When in all actuality she did need the pharmacy benefit card information and the PCN LETTERS (that are the same for our entire family and should be on file). She then just handed the phone off to my husband and said I don’t need to deal with this. How insensitive. Too busy to deal with providing important medication to an infant with a serious illness. Finally, my husband pulled out his pharmacy card and the pharmacist (not the intern) said this is what is needed. This intern is dangerous and should not be working to provide medications to customers. If we weren’t persistent we would have ended up paying out of pocket or with no medicine at all.
The Walgreens pharmacy staff are very polite and professional, even when they seem so busy. I always experience extraordinary customer service.
My girlfriend was trying to get a flu shot, and they were not cooperative with her insurance situation.
Extremely slow and inattentive service! And worst of it is watching an obvious attitude that seems it does not matter to them that Many people are waiting? There is no sense of urgency or apology for having to wait 20-30 minutes just to have someone talk to you. I like Walgreens in general but this location is one of their worst. I am thinking of switching to another location which is less convenient for me or just changing my prescriptions to CVS.
Walgreens are all the same. They are great stores with everything you need. This one is always clean and the people are nice.
I always feel for the pharmacy staff at this Walgreens. They always look so busy and stressed, yet always remain polite and professional. The amount of hassle they get due to insurance issues is beyond belief. Its not their job to sort peoples insurance out and yet people can be so rude to them. They all deserve a medal! (and, no, I dont work there!)
Not all employees are rude..However I have been lectured or instructed that my doctor is the source of any prescription mix up or discrepancy. I have also been given incorrect amounts of medication on multiple occasions.
Horrible, unfriendly service. I was literally grunted at by the cashier. No greeting; when I said hello, she seriously grunted. And this was not the first time Ive had the misfortune of dealing with her. The kicker is, shes not even the rudest person who works there!!! I live close, or I wouldnt ever go there. As it is, I try to make visits there as rare as possible. I would recommend finding the nearest CVS, which is where I will be taking my business from now on. Some people just deserve to be unemployed.
I have been a loyal Walgreens customer since the store opened many years ago.You no longer have adequate pharmacy staff. Having been in a medical career, I know what it is like to cut staff with the same amount of work load. The staff is always so busy and looks so stressed. This is when mistake are made and people start looking for other jobs. The woman in front of me is moving her drug orders to CVS and I may do the same if this continues. There has to be a better way to cut costs.
Always had wonderful servic
Worst custom service over the phone ever! My calls (4 times) never got picked up. Twice after 25 minutes waiting, the call got dropped automatically!
Nice workers. Always a nice visit.
Staff very willing to assist
Well from the comments I have already read it doesn’t look like things have changed in 2 years. Sorry to say after my other half who is in the medical field as well waited for nearly 1 hour for a prescription that was called in 2 hours prior to that. That’s terrible business terrible. If you can’t service customers in the pharmacy Buisness then get out of the business. Otherwise staff is friendly !
Ive been to many many walgreens all over the country and this one has the worst pharmacy.
Súper slow and always mix up my medication orders
Went to my Walgreens today to get the flu shot. I was told they were out and had no idea when they may have more. Even though there sign outside was advertising 0 copay, come in and get your flue shot.
True that, staff are courteous but short-handed.
No one answers the phone.
Its a walgreens
Clean. Friendly staff.
