Staff my daughter talk to was not very helpful and not nice. I bought an unlocked phone there and inquired if they had any more unlocked iPhones.. Was told they dont sell any at all which was not true. Went to AT&t down the road and got better service.
I strongly recommend that more staff be hired to work the floor. A young man helped me find a printer for my home office. However, he was unwilling to help me with finding a home phone. I asked 2 other employees to call for some help in the isle. Both did on separate occasions. I waited for over 30 minutes. Fortunately there was another customer waiting too. The two of us worked together to find what we both needed. I spent nearly $300 in the store. I am as hoping for some help as I am not familiar with some of the equipment I was looking for.
Do not sign up for best buy credit card. I took out a credit thru best buy and was double charged back in july. Contacted best buy and they told me i had to dispute it. I called Citi and disputed charges and best buy denied my dispute numerous times even with proof of purchases, best buy had no transactions in their system of purchase that i was charged for and im still getting screwed $380. Its november and im still fighting for the charges.
Customer service is very poor, very little attention. I ordered a TV online in open box with options to pick up in the store when I checked the TV had no remote control or stand support (in the specifications only said open boxes in good condition, when I asked the young man who attended me only replied that it came like that, but the information over the internet did not say anything was missing, the guy at the store never tried to find a way to help my purchase he look like he was tired and very boring.In a few words you pay for what they sell to you if the specifications says that it come with everything they have to give to you with nothing missing.The store needs more motivate customers services

Even though it was during a snowstorm all the employees were very informative and helpful in the decision-making process for computer accessories. When an employee didnt know about particular item I asked about they quickly found a co-worker who knew exactly what I was looking for. Overall, it was one of the best shopping experiences Ive ever had and I look forward to going back there again in the future.

Best Buy in Middletown has only one thing going for it...they sell electronics. They have only one cashier at this time with long lines of people waiting to pay. They could do a better job at cleaning the restrooms. Most of their items are overpriced and can be found online at cheaper prices.
If it was possible to rate 0 stars, I would. I experienced one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered. Geek squad employees are incompetent, unprofessional, and rude the ultimate trifecta.I would NEVER recommend this location for any technical needs.

I needed a side vent kit for my newly purchased dryer. In the appliances section I located one for Samsung. Non were on display for an L.G. a sales associate walked up and asked if I needed help. I explained. I need a side vent kit for an L.G. dryer. I showed him the one in my hand for Samsung. I then showed him on my phone the one I needed. I explained. My dryer is rear vent and need to change it to side vent. He yesed me to death and wasnt really listening or looking. He said we have a universal one. Hands me a box and said this is what you need. I get home open the box and immediately realize this in a wall vent kit. Not a relocation vent kit. Track it back to the store 25 mile. The Manager obviously not trained in customer service offered no apology. Said he will speak to his employees. As I did not give up the incompetent employee.

I dont know what it is. But Best Buy in Middletown and Poughkeepsie have the same customer service. You cant find someone to help you when you need something that is locked up. But 3 stars because when we did fond someone here in middletown he was very helpful. His customer service was good. If it wasnt for his customer service I would rate one star.
Ordered to pick up at store. Very reliable, fast service. Friendly associates. Easy to order online . Park call/text and within 5 minutes the item was in my hand. Just before they came out, I receive a message they were on their way out.

I ordered a freezer online. The drive from my home was about 45 minutes. While on the way, I received an email that the item was ready. Upon arrival, I found plenty of parking spaces available that were designated for customer pickup. I responded to the email that I was at the store. Two options were given; wait in the my vehicle, or go inside to customer service. I chose to go inside. I was assisted almost immediately. I was asked to move my truck to the front by the entrance. Two gentleman brought the freezer out and loaded it into my truck. I strapped it for safe travel to my home. All of the receipts are handled through the email transactions. When I arrived home, I unloaded the freezer and found it to work just as expected.
Would be five stars except for the fact that there were no graphics cards in stock at all, not all items were marked with prices, and the wait to talk with an associate was over 20 minutes. Aside from those issues, the store is clean, and associates friendly and helpful.

In the showroom for half an hour, literally googling info on my phone in order to determine which laptop/pc to buy. Sales assoc was requested and showed up but offered no assistance other than to get me the product I told him I wanted. Had a problem once I was home, I called and their recorded message says, we are not taking calls at the Middletown location.Fortunately there is a 14 day return period: Ill be returning the laptop and getting it elsewhere. Just on principal.

Good experience today. We needed to visit more than one department to put together the system we wanted. Qualified and informed sales people from each department came to us and worked with us. We never left the first department we visited. All done in a timely fashion.

OK this Best Buy is not bad but sometimes they have to explain Barney style to them on how to do things. I wanted an SSD hard drive and they gave me the SSD memory I am not mad about it but next time I am going to have to speak to them Barney style so they could understand I want a SS D hard drive not memory. Still its a awesome BestBuy.(On a other Note)The only other gripe I have with the middletown BestBuy they never answer their phones but other than that there good 👍

I purchased the service plan after having issues with my $1200 laptop that wasnt even two years old. The Geek Squad informed me that the repair was beyond what they were able to do (something with the motherboard). I then brought in my tower, which is 20 years old, and they were unable to remove the data from the hard drive. I then had a service plan that I couldnt use. I asked customer service if there was any way that they could refund the money for the service plan so that I could purchase a new computer. They did so immediately and I was able to purchase a new computer (Chromebook and I love it!) with the help of a store associate and my son. Though we seem to live in a throw away society where electronics burn out easily, Best Buy understood my situation and their store associates were able to answer hard questions and help me get back up and running! Thank you so much for the understanding and gracious return of the cost of a service plan that I was unable to use without any hassle at all. Thank you!

Went to Best Buy a few days ago and was not very satisfied with the customer service. I was looking for a particular Samsung tablet for my daughter, eventually I found it on display. I waited and waited patiently but no one came to our aid. I was surprised and walked around the store, but was unable to find anyone in a somewhat empty store. I looked up the tablet online and found it on B&H photo bought it and paid for it while inside the store in under 2.5 minutes.
Needed a galaxy s9 case...out of stock...but all retailers are out of stock so I forgive them.
Great customer service, picked up a much needed ink cartridge after online and NYC stores were out of stock on the item.
We appreciate all our local workers at Middletown, NY. Very helpful and worth avoiding those online only stores.
Was glad to see the sales people were wearing masks and that the store was not crowded. Although the sales person was helpful, the product I was interested in was not in stock.

Used to buy phones all the time there, but salesmen were inattentive, did not try to help in anyway, product out of stock and basically had zero interest in helping. We left and went to Verizon and had much better experience and service. Disappointed.
Im impressed by Best Buys covid19 safety measures. They are controlling density flow in the store and there is hand sanitizer everywhere.
