Hello Middletown, my wife and I just moved here and it’s been great! We had gotten everything but we still needed a couch and a refrigerator. Rent a center helped us out with that! The manager was awesome as well as the guy who delivered them. He told us how beautiful our home was and we have been trying very hard to get to where we are and it made us feel great especially while enjoying a cold drink on our new couch. There was no pressure while we were in the store and the manager was very helpful. The store was clean and we enjoyed our time there, I don’t know what else to say really but if you need appliances or furniture and don’t have the money this option isn’t bad as long as you know you can get them paid off. Paying them off early even saves you a good chunk of money! Thanks to everyone at rent-a-center for your help.

Brad, Leah, and his team are amazing! They go above and beyond to find me what I need, work out deals with me, and get me my items fast and easy. This is the first home Ive ever lived in by myself and I dont know how I would have been able to furnish it fully without them!

I always thought these rent to own places were a rip off but the staff at this rent a center have gone out of their way to help me and make sure I was taken care of. Just this past weekend my tv went out so one of the staff members stayed over just to help me out. Gave me a loaner tv until mine was fixed. I told them to just write it up and Id just keep the loaner which was a way more expensive tv but w/e. He told me he wasnt going to do that because I was so close to paying my tv off. They could have not said anything and had me paying them for a tv for a lot longer but they didnt want to do me like that. Ive gotten a ps4, gaming laptop and tv from them and Ill probably get more from them down the road. Great people to work with. The negitave reviews you see are more likely from people who didnt want to make their payments. If you make your payments like you agreed to they will take care of you.

If you enjoy being harassed for thier products then please call here. They know how to disrespect your requests to not call the day payment is due even when you PAY everytime and in time!! ILL NEVER RENT FROM THEM AGAIN CAUSE THEY CANT RESPECT MY REQUEST! IF THEY CALL, I DONT PAY UNTIL ICALL!!! ITS THAT SIMPLE!! DONT CALL ME!!

This place is a joke, go to rent to own, they are so much better

They are a rip off ! Do not go here. They told me my bed would be paid off in November on the 26th of 2018. Come to find out when I thought I was making my last payment I noticed there was still a balance. They kept hidden fees from me. Did not tell me about if your late that it adds to your loan. Not once was this explained to me. Even though late I always paid them. It was totally a waste of money. I’m so upset and disgusted with the way they crooked me out of my money. Upon speaking to the manager Brad he said “it wasn’t his job to let us customers know that if your late ect it adds money to the end of your loan. Why wasn’t this explained? Because he didn’t want me to know apparently. I suggest to anyone either save your money back and buy a bed, TV ect. Or investigate other rent places and look at the reviews and the ratings. Make sure nothing is hidden from you and everything is on the table. Ask questions! Lesson learned.

Great place good people

I had a credit from a previous purchase. I took the paper in there and they would only give me a part of it, not even half of it. The guy there took over an hour to get my info punched in, and for me to sign the papers. By this time I was so irritated and ready to leave I didnt have the energy to argue about what he originally told me I would receive off, and what he actually gave me off the price. They are only worried about taking as much more from you as they possibly can. Whats even worse is I bought a tablet that I needed for work and I could go buy it from Walmart for $175, my 90 day payment from them would have been $350 before my credit. This place is a rip off, along with poor customer service!

Out right bought a bed frame from here so i could get it delivered and set up because a sign on front of store says free same day delivery not only did i have to pick it up and have to put it together brad told me deluvery is 75 dollars ill never come back to rent a center again

I have been with rent a center for about 5 consecutive years always made my payments never caused or had a problem til TJ left then my experience with them took a turn for the worst the staff makes you feel like your not worthy and all that they are worried about is sales and credit not customer satisfaction at all Jim the district Manager has horriable lousy people skills if you want him to give a Damn you got to go above his head this store needs some investigation from the higher ups

Keep an eye out for roaches in the store. Look for them hiding in your new furniture.

The most useless staff I have ever seen in my life they were not willing to look up a damn thing they just blew off every question I asked and then that I asked the lady she said to 2 she was going to check on something sat on her phone for over 20 minutes talking to somebody and make me wait rude as hell

Just got my washer and dryer. Washing machine not working at all. Water fills up does not spin. My dryer works good though. So 3 stars. Been waiting all day for my delivery. Called at 1030am received at 639pm. Not ok. Will be calling first thing tomorrow morning.
