My husband and I had a wonderful experience at this location!! We came in late, looking for a tub combo set that has been sold out everywhere, the last one at this location had a crack, but Scott said they just got a new delivery and brought it right out to us! Scott helped us load it onto our car, he really went above and beyond. Thank you Scott for an awesome experience!!

This home depot is generally clean and easy to navigate. The staff is friendly and knows the way around, even departments they are not specifically working in. I was able to quickly find an associate to ask where to find something and she was able to tell me the exact aisle, on the opposite side of the building, that the item I was looking for was in. She actually saw me first and asked me if I needed help. I wish I had gotten her name, but she was wonderful.
It was nicer than berlin home Depot. We got good service. The people (workers) were friendly. They did not have the item but offered to help us order it to be in delivered free delivery. It will take longer than we wanted but there was no other store in stock. The customer service was nice.
They got wood. Big, small, thick and skinny pieces of wood. Honestly I love going here, great holiday decorations!!
Shop at this location almost every week for construction and other fixings with my bf. Spent a lot of money here and when we needed to return something for store credit, the lady scanned one item and ringed us out when we had more items. So, we tried to return other items after and the items wouldn’t go through the computer bc the previous item returned was scanned under my bfs drivers license. Then we asked to scan it under my license and the lady said we can’t return it when we had this same situation before last month with another lady. It went through under my license. So the lady wouldn’t let us return and asked this other lady named Ginnie (from Pro Team- not pro at all and rude) to come over for help. We were explaining the situation to her and gave us an attitude when we were trying to return the same way as usual and using my license. As customers, she basically did not try to help us at all and walked away from us. We spend a lot of money here, this is not how we want to be treated. Ginnie was rude and not professional at all. And dares to talk behind our back to other workers. She does not belong in Pro Team.

On Saturday my husband and I visited this store to purchase a grill, we saw they had 6 in stock online. We wanted to see it in person rather than having it shipped. A very helpful employee named Steve assisted us and assured us it would not be long for them to pull a new one as he didnt want to sell us the floor model. We were told someone would have it ready in 15 minutes. We went to pay for it first to save time. They said due to how busy it was, they would need another 15 minutes, so we left and said wed be back soon. We came back 45 minutes later and it still had not been pulled. I told them wed come back the next day. That next day, I still had not received my email that it was ready, so I called, and they told me it would be ready soon and to be on the lookout for an email. The day went by, still no email. Called later in the day to be sure they had my correct email, which they did, again saying it would be ready soon. Monday morning came, I called and they asked when Id like to get it as theyd have a new one in a box waiting. I said 2 hours. 3 hours later Im at the store (still no email, but phone recording said its ready) and they are trying to get me the floor model, which I refused. Now they are trying to order a new one to be shipped to my home, but their computers are not working.This is a ridiculous experience and if I did not have home depot gift cards, Id get my money back and purchase this elsewhere.
If all you need is screwdriver, hammer or saw, then Home Depot is OK. Merely OK. In my case its close to home, which makes it convenient. If you need advice about a project, or have a question about tool use, youre better off going to a smaller, locally owned hardware place. Good luck finding one of those. Ace Hardware, across town, is better. The staff at Big Orange is, by and large, uninformed, uninterested and unavailable.

Management works on the floor with its employees, and also helps with whatever customers need.They do good at keeping sales items and better sales stocked.And the store is clean.Wait times are average.Prices are just slightly above average.Recommended more over other Home Depots in the area.

Horrible supervisor and cashier. Would give 0 stars if I could. Writing this on my moms phone. Shes 71 and she just had surgery. Im 34. Buying lumber and the tag was mislabeled and already had my lumber cut. Went to check out the lady sarcastically told me I have eyes I can check the price myself told me 64 dollars for a tag that said 30. Had to call the manager. He tried to tell me its on me because the tag is mislabeled. Um sorry no, thats not how it works sir. Your employee put the tag there and it clearly says 30 dollars. Told me in the rudest way possible he would approve it this time but next time Im paying full price As if its somehow MY fault that HIS EMPLOYEE mislabeled the tag. There wont BE a NEXT TIME. Taking my business to Lowes. What scum. Ive shopped at this home depot for 23 years!!! I WILL NEVER RETURN!
This is well stocked and very clean and organized, however the staff is kinda rude. One man beeped at us with his mouth hole while my husband and i were looking at trim in the garden area and we already off to the side of the isle. The woman cashing us out didnt want to touch our flowers to scan them because her fingernails were getting dirty. She also did not want to bend over to scan the items under our cart. Probably wouldve been a better experience if it was a self check our or someone more comfortable to getting a little dirty.The bathroom was very clean and the toilet paper was nice and soft, and we got everything we came for so mostly a good experience.

Home Depots customer service has improved immensely. Employees now walk around with handheld devices that allow them to call others for assistance or type inquiries in to locate what youre looking for. If you need a detailed consultation on your project you might find Ace Hardware to be a better place to go, but Home Depot can help you get the easier jobs done
The parking lot has a weird bump out at the entrance. It makes for some confusion with drivers.
I bought a dishwasher and installation from Homedepot. No problem with the dishwasher, but I would say think 3 times before you get dishwasher installation from them. They work with FGO company. The installer, Rich, tightened my main water valve too much and broke it. I had to call the city of Middletown to shut off my water and HARP replaced my valve and was without water for a day. I paid $328 on top of installation. Homedepot did an insurance claim and insurance referred me to this FGO company. On the phone, this guy was horribly inappropriate. I paid Homedepot for my installation, I dont want to talk to people on the phone in this manner. Homedepot should at least return the installation fee!I will not go to Homedepot to buy the rest of my appliances and my kitchen redo.

Great Store, Great Staff, Great Location, Great hours (even with Covid)
Saw a minimum of 15 people in there without masks on. Seemed like the employees were wearing masks but numerous patrons were not at all. The rule should be if you “medically” can’t wear a mask then you need to shop fully online. People are putting other people at risk just to make a point and not wear masks. No employees were enforcing mask rule at all. Groups of unmasked people were right near numerous employees. It was honestly unacceptable.

I have been here on several different occasions and there is always people in here, customers and employees, with no mask or with masks below their nose and chin. Way to go Home Depot.Another occasion I was there to purchase paint. Experience started out okay while we were looking at the samples, then a blue haired employee came over and asked me to move for a second so she could come through and then proceeded to talk to another employee for 5 minutes about their evening. Once she finally passed through, she then found my boyfriend and I in the paint aisle getting a gallon of paints. She yelled at us that we couldn’t use the cart to get a can of paint, again cause she was busy talking about personal stuff with her co workers. She then took my pain sample card and walked away with it to the counter. Never telling me what she intended to do with it or if she was helping us. So I stood at the counter waiting and then she threw my sample card away and proceeded to continue her conversation. NEVER WILL I GO THERE FOR PAINT AGAIN! Such rude and unprofessional service from the blue hairs paint lady!!
Year after year service in this store is going from bad to worse. Customer service in flooring and shelving department probably most careless I ever seen. Other departments not better. To find someone to help is almost impossible. If you are lucky and finally someone will come they acting like you are not welcome here.
Great experience! I have been trying to get a few items from HD website for weeks with no success. Stopped by on the way to work and it took Jonathan and Carly 10 minutes to take care of the problem. Two days later I have the lights already installed!!! Really thank you guys. The Home Depot is by far my favorite store. I go there regularly to just look for ideas (but walk out with tons of stuff every time). Thanks guys

Made sure I could find what I was looking for.They have a lots if inventory and a large rental department that is prefect for short term do it yourselfers.I recommend those Dept to my family and friends.

Trying to be objective in this review. I’m a frequent customer who has always liked this store. I bought 2 refrigerators, a washer and dryer, and a lot of wood and construction supplies in renovating my home this summer. A good 50/50 mix of Home Depot and one of their competitors with the dishwasher, stove, microwave and a lot of the flooring and finishes coming from the other store. Sold my car a few months back so I had a bunch of cash on hand so figured paying with cash for things made sense to use it up instead of charging or going through the hassle of driving to the bank to deposit it. All worked well until I lost the receipt for a snow blower I bought 2 days ago. $1913 with tax and whatnot got the Ariens EFI 30” one. Was super excited to try it out if we get enough snow next week. However I got it home and realized the key wouldn’t come out due to being rusted in, I wD40’d it and finally got it out. Then I started looking at the snow blower more in depth and realized much of the metal was rusted. I thought no big deal I’ll load it in my truck and exchange it. Got back to Home Depot and a lady greeted me right away and got some guys to help me unload it and they even pushed it up to customer service for me. Then I talked with 2 young ladies who immediately said you can’t return that without a receipt. I calmly explained to them the issues and they agreed since it was never run and all the plastic wrap and stickers were on it I could exchange it. I asked if they could deliver the exchange as I’d have issues getting it out of my truck by myself, it’s almost 300 lbs. She called her department manager and that was a no because they had no way to do that in the system. I asked if I could talk to him and he came up. After talking it was still a no so I said fine. Then they went to get the other snow blower and it was a 28” one being sold for $600 less than the one I purchased. I informed him of the issue and he was nice enough about it. He then got the assistant store manager (Sal) who came up with (Alex) from lawn and garden. The lawn and garden employee who spoke condescendingly as did Sal about me “losing my receipt”. I get being suspicious, but having an attitude with the customer isn’t really professional in my opinion. Sal informed me my options were to leave with the rusty snowblower because how do I know it’s defective. Buy a new one and he would waive the delivery fee on that one and my rusty one I guess. Or pay $85 to have my rusty one delivered as they had none they could exchange. At this point I raised my voice and quickly realized that’s not how to win an argument and tried to tone myself back in. Sal also called in his loss prevention officer Chris at this point. Chris was a nice enough guy he got my an alcohol wipe and bandaid for my hand I cut unloading the snowblower with the guys. Sal then had me call a call center to explain the situation and they said I could exchange it for an identical item but when it came to light they had none she transferred me to her manager but then hung up after about 5 minutes of hold. At this point I was beaten down, I lost. I said to Sal she said I could return for an identical item. Is there any way I can do it for future stock or at another store. He said Berlin and Orange are the only stores that have any. Ok Sal can you please have some of your guys help me load it back into my truck. 2 hours and I was beaten down to the point where I will never pay cash for anything again.Or as Alex and Sal would say, just don’t “loose” your receipt.My girlfriend doesn’t think I can avoid HD for long but we will see.PS Berlin had none but the guy Hector was super nice and I was kind of expecting that outcome so I didn’t even unload it and just put my tail between my legs and walked back out. I didn’t try Orange as I’m happy with my rusty machine at this point. OkI think if I use some rust remover I can pretty much say I have a new snowblower. Let’s just hope it starts Monday 🙏Sorry for the book, just first time I’ve had such an experience with a hardware store (heaven).

Personally not a home Depot fan but to each their own. The simple fact that home Depot offers milwaukee brand tools and products should be way more than enough to make you walk through those doors. Decent selection and a helpful staff. Dont be afraid go get what you need and theyll do their best to help you.
This Home Depot had exactly what I was looking for. Spent a tad too long trying to find a certain section at first. However when I did find it, I was very satisfied with the selection and prices.
Lots of employees wear their masks, but I see too many of them either walking around with them under their noses or taking them off to talk to people, and I have even seen employees take them off to eat a snack while working. There is a sign that masks are required in the store, employees need to be more of an example for people coming in.

Stopped in to get some supplies to fix my portable AC had to go to two stores but I got everything I needed and everything is frosty in my bedroom now.
Service was good, fairly easy to find an employee to help me locate my product. Store is super clean.

Do not use this company for appliances the company they use for delivery is terrible. Ordered a washer got a date with a 2 to 6 PM timeframe on that date got a call at 4:15 confirming my town and informed it would be an hour more before they would be here. After an hour got a call stating delivery was not going to be today next available date would be 5 days later. Think twice before doing business with them as they dont care about the customer.

Terrible terrible terrible they are running away from you and if youre lucky you can actually step somebody and ask for help they just say its not that the department theyre going to get someone but they never do. Home Depot its 2 minutes away from my house but I have to go shop other stores because I know I wont get any help from them. I do apologize but it is what it is. I have more luck asking questions and getting answer from people that shop there.
Although vegetable plants were expensive during Corona pandemic all were healthy & are growing beautifully. Still great variety. Staff was helpful

I was disappointed with this trip to Home Depot in Middletown. I started shopping at the store even though its out of my way, because it was so well staffed. There were people that would ask me if I needed help rather than me searching someone out. Today I spent a considerable amount of time waiting in the electrical department to get wire from an area that customers cant access. I went to the customer service department to ask for help and they said they get someone. A few minutes later the same customer service rep came to tell me that the electrical person was helping someone else and it would be awhile before he was able to come and help me. I waited a while. Then I called the manager to complain while I was driving to Lowes in Cromwell. The manager told me that their Manpower has changed due to algorithms in the computer. The staff according to when the computer says they have the most customers. Thats all fine and good, but I try to go there when theyre not busy. So does that mean I dont get help? I think they need to add a little common sense to that algorithm.
Giving them a one star because I wont be able to write this review without putting something. If it were up to me I wouldnt give them any stars or any of you money. We spent $1,500 on fencing (panels, concrete, posts and so on) back on May 2nd. Our order had to be a special order because the fencing we needed wasnt available in the store as well as my husband is in the military and wanted to use his discount. Sal (the manager) was helpful at first to create this order for us. He let us know that the order would be delivered on May 16th but he mentioned it would most likely arrive before that. Once it arrives at the store they would contact us so we can set up an at home delivery. Given COVID going on we gave a grace period to May 26th. After receiving no updates from Home Depot or Sal about our order as well as checking the order number on the website and the status not being update we decided to reach out. My husband called Sal and Sal said he would check in. Sal called back and said the manufacturer just shipped and it should be at there that Friday or Saturday and he would call us then. Friday and Saturday pass with no phone calls. We called the following Tuesday. (Notice we gave them our money and yet we have to be the ones to continuously follow up with what the hell is going on). Each time we talked to a different manager after this. We have had to repeat our story many times to each one even though Home Depot has the capability of putting in there system prior communication notes to help managers follow up with whats going on. This manager said they would call us back on their next shift. They didnt. continued....
Went to home depot about a week after my order was placed. Never received a message saying my order was ready but called ahead to confirm I could still pick it up. I was told that if I dont mind waiting that I could come pick up. So I did that, went to the store, called right before I arrived and they told me to call back even though I was 2 minutes away. Arrive at home depot, called in.. Took them about 5 minutes to answer the phone, then when the call was picked up. I was greeted by a snarky woman named Molly with a HUGE attitude. She was instantly rude and told me I had to wait for my order to be picked. So I waited, for about an hour in the parking lot and watched SEVERAL customers showing up for their pickup orders and leaving. I ask one of the gentlemen bringing out pickup orders what was going on with my order and I had been waiting for an hour. He went inside and came back out saying I had to come back tomorrow. AFTER WAITING FOR MY ORDER TO BE PULLED FOR AN HOUR, THEY ONLY HAD 4 DOORS TO GRAB.I go home and call the next day, low and behold. Customer service said they had to cancel my order after me waiting a week for my order to be filled, then waiting outside for AN HOUR for pickup as they claimed they were picking it. (MIND YOU EVERYTHING CLAIMED TO BE IN STOCK WHEN ORDERED AND I CONFIRMED EVERYTHING WAS AT THE MIDDLETOWN STORE). I also confirmed with online AND with another phone call to the store to see if they could make sure the doors were in stock and they were!UNEXCEPTABLE HOME DEPOT, THIS ORDER WAS OVER $1000 AND WAS JUST THE START OF WHAT I NEED FOR MY HOME. After this experience I will no longer be using Home Depot as they do not appreciate or take care of their customers. I will be doing all of my home improvement business through Lowes going forward.

Not easy to find help on garden center and guys in the other department are not always willing to help. But in general its well.stocked checkout time is quick and if you have returns you may have to wait a bit bit its never long. I like this store.
Tool was broken when we got it home. They would not reset time limit when swapping it out. Unacceptable now Home Depot will lose $150k in sales over a $60 chainsaw rental
