I was real hesitant to go here because honestly I knew nothing about Acura. I met Gary who is a down to earth guy that really went out his way to make me feel at ease and kept me up to date with everything, even on his day off while spending time with his grandchildren lol. The staff from the receptionist to the managers were great as well, there is really nothing bad I can say about Friendly Acura of Middletown, except I am happy I purchased my RDX A Spec from them. Fast service. Recently went in for an inspection.. because I bought my car last year this inspection was free. They have a nice waiting area, with a cool coffee/cappuccino/ espresso machine.. and also lil snacks. They provide a shuttle bus if you donβt want to stay there and wait! Staff is always friendly

I really loved the car I got but however they tried to tell me that I had to buy the car in a two days notice or else they would sell it to someone else even though I already gave a deposit. They also had an issue because I didnβt want to finance with them and charged me a fee of $150 even though the fee is supposed to be $50 that says In writing. Not only that but the car had an issue on the bumper which I didnβt see until I bought it which is like okay I understand itβs a used car. They offered to fix it but told me in only a couple hours notice that I have to bring it the same day but I have no other car to drive and itβs going to be there for a day. They said I have to figure it out and offered no loaner and I work. Just very unprofessional overall even though my family has already bought three cars with them. Honestly want to just give this car back and never do business with them. My family wanted to get another car from them but because of this we will not be doing anymore business with them.

Unfortunately I found myself stranded on the side of a remote area quite a distance from home this past week. I had not one but two flat tires. The towing company brought me to the nearest Acura dealership. When I called the dealership Naomi answered and she was kind and immediately assured me that they can help. When my car arrived at the dealership my car was immediately serviced. Iβm very happy to have received a smile and a reasonable bill during such a stressful time. This is why I keep coming back to Acura.

I am leery of dealership service departments. I go in a few times, things are fine, then after a routine visit something quirky happens. I will not say it is the fault of the dealership, but the event typically ends our relationship - sometimes earlier than the end of the warranty period. Thats not the case with Acura in general, and my recent Acura of Middletown experience. Angela (Service Advisor) kept me appraised on the progress, and went to great lengths to ensure that the correct actions were taken for each of the vehicles issues. Just the right amount of concern, without emptying my pockets (too much). This was one of the rare occasions where after leaving the dealership the vehicle felt better than when I brought it in. And not just because of the work I brought it in for, which is usually for the better. But a quirkiness that was there since the leasing period is finally gone (the lease ended a bit ago). Kudos to Angela and the Service Team!

Wonβt be referring anyone towards this Acura dealership. (Was also donβt told they didnβt have a service department which I find odd since theyβre an upscale car dealership.
I bought my Honda CRV at Friendly Honda in Poughkeepsie, but I work in Sullivan County, so having my car serviced in Middletown is WAY more convenient than going all the way to Poughkeepsie. Plus, Poughkeepsie had very limited availability, while Middletown was able to get me in pretty quickly.The staff in the service department were very nice and really took their time to explain anything that needed to be done to my car. I chose to wait for my car, and was very comfortable in their waiting area.Overall, it was a great experience and Ill be returning!

I contacted them told them what I was looking for and everything was done quickly and correctly. My new 2022 MDX is beautiful and has all the features and upgrades we asked for. Service was great from the minute I walked through the door. Ray greeted me and made the whole experience easy. Never once did I feel like I was dealing with a salesman. I ended up getting a TLX and when it came down to showing how to use the car Ray was an expert he knew all the in and outs of the car and all the bells and whistle. No question went unanswered. While driving upstate on NY-17 on Saturday morning and right before exit 122, I ran over a piece of metal debris and my rear tire went flat. I had another 155 mi to go to a wedding, so the donut was not an option. Found this Friendly Acura of Middletown dealership a few miles away and pulled into the service where there was no line. I was expecting the treatment we get in the 5 boroughs, the possible come back Monday as we have no spots available..., but my car went in right away, and, little to say, 45 min later I am back on the road with a brand new balanced tire on my 2019 MDX. The shop is clean and spotless, nothing compared to the ones we have in the 5 boroughs. Naomi was fantastic and up-front with all costs. After I pulled out in front of the shop, I went and asked some questions about the TPMS and the LKAS, and Naomi asked the mechanic that worked on the car to take a look. He stopped what he was doing and came out to help. No attitude or bad looks. JUST HELPED! Thank you

I have been coming to this location since 2004 when it was still Feders. The service department when it was Feders kept me coming back for service and purchasing 3 more MDXs. Over the past 3 years since Friendly has become new management Inhave had nothing but issues not only in service but when I purchased my last MDX. Although service kept me as a customer when they were Feders, Friendy has lost me as a customer especially now that you have to pay for a service vehicle and 2 miles from pulling off the lot the gas light comes on.

I love Friendly Acuras service department! Ed the Service Manager is always on point and I always request to have Pat work on our MDX as my wife and I feel super comfortable in his capable hands. On our last visit Pat noticed our left front tire had a cut in the sidewall, Ed walked me out to take a look. Had it not been for their detailed inspection this small and dangerous condition could have been easily missed...could have resulted in a horrible accident. I enjoy the atmosphere at Friendly, fair pricing and have always fixed our MDX on time the first time!

My experience getting my new Acura MDX was absolutely perfect. Colin our salesman is the consummate professional gave me various options for payments which were very helpful. Ray guided me through the payment process and gave me some ideas about what to do and what not to do during the lease and Damien showed us how to use the car which is like and We are getting the hang of it slowly but surely.
