First time visitor - I wandered around the store, confused for a bit, looking for the hidden reference section.A friendly and helpful young lady helped me find the mysterious alcove that housed dictionaries and thesauruses and such.😀Store was clean and well-organized otherwise, and employees nice!Will probably return to buy my intended book. I ended up leaving before making a purchase when I caught the attention of a chatty, larger female customer who was getting a LITTLE too close for comfort!😒

Compared to other B&N this is a bit smaller and their bargain book section reflects this. The staff has always been friendly, but the layout is a bit crowded. Might be only decent book store option on the island though.

Bathroom looks like something straight out of a highway gas station. Graffiti, dirty toilets, cracked mirrors and toilet paper holders older than Betty White.

You can literally always find me in a Barnes & Noble when I travel to a new city. This time was no different and I was not disappointed. This location has to be one of my favorites. I was here just about every other day working on homework assignments and grabbing a Hazelnut Nonfat Latte with a Tomato Caprese sandwich from the Cafe.Books perfectly stacked and inviting, sales and little trinkets throughout. I was greeted every time I entered and asked if I needed help every time I passed an associate. This is a great location if youre looking for that next read or trying to get some work done. Definitely stop at this location and relax.

Im a self proclaimed bibliophile so this place is dangerous for me. It is handicap accessible and has a good bathroom if you are in a wheelchair, the door can just be a little heavy.

Love this location. They have friendly staff, and plenty of seating. I love taking my lunch break here at the café and catching up on some studying. The clearance bins are also worth a look, there seem to always be great deals!

The store was renovated recently and they have a great selection of everything. Books, music, movies, and some really fantastic toys - including but not limited to the educational sorts! The cafe is a lovely spot to relax with a treat or with a Starbucks Coffee and get some work done.

I love the Middletown store! They rearranged it recently - the wall to the music section was removed and that area now contains a huge selection of games, puzzles, and items relating to Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, and the like, with lots of Japanese novelties. It has a more open feel to it. The movie section was consolidated and paired down but we love that they still carry Criterion (please stop using the spider cord security wrap - these are collectibles and the cords are so tight that it ruins the packaging!). Great to stop in at the Starbucks cafe and relax for a bit. I do feel that their sales are extremely limiting.

Whats to say about Barnes and Noble? This location has a Starbucks but get your books first because they almost always give you a coupon for the Starbucks. They have a great magazine selection and an ample childrens section. They have an oddly large media section which no one goes in so you think they could repurpose that somehow. Decent selection of gifts etc. Romance section is pitiful compared to space devoted to less popular genres. Great location, easy parking, needs more comfy chairs. Sometimes no one is at the register which is odd.

Always an enjoyable place to go

Generally speaking this is just another B&N but the staff has always been polite and helpful. Theres a huge selection of collectibles/toys at this location. Also a Starbucks inside the store. Theres a regular storytime for parents of young kids and Ive seen a few book signings and the like here. Best local periodical selection too.

Very friendly staff. Love the space for kids, and it the ability to utilize a public restroom is a plus. This B&N location is very clean

You can definitely see the wife and I hanging out here for two hours on a Saturday afternoon. While I dont read much of the books, were sitting at the Starbucks inside of it, just chatting, arguing and sipping on our choice of poison.The bargain bins of this store has a lot to offer for those with niche tastes.Id give this place 5 stars if it had wifi. Hell, even the Petco next to this establishment has wifi. Perhaps its B&Ns attempt to get people to read more?

I asked this bookstore for a donation for a raffle, perhaps a gift certificate for one book - my best friend passed away and we were hosting a benefit dinner. He left behind his two young daughters and his wife. We held the benefit dinner to help his daughters with their upcoming college expenses. The manager at the time said no. We had more than 100 businesses participate and the only one that didnt was Barnes and Noble. I even sent an email to their corporate offices. This store came into our community and we support it. Why cant they recipricate that when we need them? This happened 7 years ago, but what they did still lingers. I still support the store and bring my 9 year old son there because I believe in community and the significance of it. I hope they changed their policy.

This store is always clean and organized and the associates are friendly and helpful. The only negative is they rarely have more than one cashier and that leads to longer than necessary wait times checking out.

Fun place to browse for books and spend a couple hours. Great kids section. Friendly staff. If I were them, Id remove the music section and expand the cafe.

Its tough to review a bookstore. They have a lot of books, and youll find something to read for sure. Havent had much staff interaction, and Ive never used the cafe. I bought a $15 book and got a coupon for $10 off cheesecake, its strange. At least with a bookstore you can read a chapter before you buy a book, or pick something up and then decide on something else before you buy.

Typically well-stocked Barnes and Noble with friendly and knowledgeable staff. They recently downsized their CD/DVD/Vinyl section- its still there, they just carry fewer CDs and the arrangement is different. Personally I preferred the old setup, but at least they still carry it. Theres also a Starbucks inside, often one you get coupons for when you buy stuff in the store.

One of the worlds last great bookstores. Hours of entertainment in browsing the shelves and displays! Always something new, always something surprising.

Very nice place to visit and buy audiobooks and books . One thing I believe they should do is take down the prices on the puppets. I was going to buy one for my nephew but they were expensive. I went to Ebay and found the same one for nearly half the price at B&Nobles
