I just want to say that this is hands down the BEST bridal boutique. I called early this afternoon and spoke with Linda about my concerns with weight fluctuations since originally ordering my wedding dress. She told me I could come right in and be measured again to double check the sizing. When I got there, they were once again so welcoming and helpful as well as sensitive to my concerns. As it turns out I do need another size, but my dress has been ordered for months and there is not enough time to start over with a new order. Mary came to the rescue with assuring me that she will have my dress there in the size that I need. Not only did she come to my rescue today but she really made me feel good about myself. Mary and Linda, I can not thank you enough for what you did today. From the bottom of my heart, it truly means the world to me. Thank you ❤️

This owner made out with $4800 of money from the wedding party !!! We had no contact{ EVERYONE in the wedding party called at least 10 times which result of mailbox is full or please hold with being disconnected }, no dresses, no refund and had to find out VIA facebook that she was closing her store while the wedding was 21 days away so bride and bridesmaid paid for 2 dresses ..... better off getting a dress from goodwill !!!!! CONARTIST...... NOT SEAMSTRESS!!!!!!

My daughter ordered her wedding dress at this store (she will be writing her review separately). I ordered my mother of the bride dress early February and did not receive it until the end of July!!! The color they showed me in the store was not the color I received, but they tried adamantly to convince me that the correct color came in. They did not always return my calls, I had to call back. Not happy with their attitude. My daughters friend had found a wedding dress that she was planning on getting until my daughter talked her out of dealing with Louis Marie and to find one somewhere else, which she did. One of the bridesmaids dress, came in in the wrong size (they measured her at Louis Marie). The seamstress had to put 3 inch panels in the sides of her dress. Really, that definitely should not happen. And I dont want to hear from them that she put that much weight on. (thats the kind of response you would get from them). She did not put any extra weight on. Just beware if you go and look at Louis Marie Bridal for dresses. I would advise you go somewhere else.

I absolutely love the staff and atmosphere of Louis Marie bridal. I’ve shopped with three friends for wedding dresses there and have been a bridesmaid in two weddings soon to be three with dresses from here. I have been puchasing dresses and gowns from this shop for 5 plus years. Without a doubt they have the best selection and customer service that I have witnessed. It does not matter what size or shape you are the ladies work with you for the perfect fit. Recently we purchased a gorgeous wedding gown that had to be altered as well as ordered and all promised dates were met. Will be going back for a homecoming dress shortly. Louis Marie Bridal saved me 17 days before my wedding and I can’t thank them enough, really! I bought a dress from another salon and it went all wrong to say the least, there was no way I could wear that one down the aisle/at my wedding, it was hacked. I was a wreck when I picked up that phone and called Louis Marie to explain the situation, a very calm voice on the other end of the line asked when I could come in and told me not to worry. I instantly felt relieved and went over that night! The owner, Mary took me back and we started pulling every single dress that I liked. WE FOUND ONE AND IT FIT LIKE A GLOVE then she found the perfect matching veil! The woman who does their alterations because I still needed a hem and a bustle got me right in and I picked my dress up yesterday for my Saturday wedding tomorrow. There aren’t enough words to thank them for what they did for me, I don’t feel as though this was just another sale to Mary - She genuinely wanted to help me and one day I’ll figure out how I can pay it forward. I highly recommend this bridal shop for anyone looking for an amazing dress experience!

If your dress shopping, just go here and dont waste your time or money elsewhere. Louis Marie Bridal has the best customer service Ive ever seen! We had a team of woman who knew everything there was to know helping us. It was fantastic. Our wedding was only 14 days away without a dress, my girl was stressed, but the fourth dress they put on her transformed her into a princess, my jaw dropped. The seamstress was right there on site, and Im fairly confident she is some kind of clothing wizard. The selection there was massive, Ive never seen so many dresses in one store. I was offered water and drinks. I even got info about where to go in Vegas to get married. Just drop by here, you wont be disappointed.

My girls and I purchased bridesmaids dresses from here. Beautiful dresses BTW, staff was super sweet.We all got fitted, measured, sized etc.. when our dresses came back, mine was like 4 sizes too big. The other girls sizes didn’t match up either. EVEN the brides dress! I know I didn’t lose weight and the other girls didn’t gain that much weight. So I had no choice but to get alterations.. BUT when I called about them prior to picking up my dress they said that alterations would be like $35- $40 nothing too crazy. it came out to be another $75 on a $200 dress. It’s ridiculous and all of us had to get alterations. I don’t understand why we got measured at all, if the dress wasn’t going to be fitted to us. I feel like they mess up your size so you have to get alterations. 😡

Mary and her staff were very knowledgable and created a very friendly atmosphere. They had many proms dresses to choose from and the prices and discounts were very reasonable. I highly recommend Lois Maria Bridal!!

When searching for multiple prom dresses the prom girls were extremely helpful in finding the perfect dresses. I came in multiple times, each time with the same woman. Although I was with one woman others would come over and help find the right dresses for me. They did everything in their power to give me the best options and kept my budget in mind. I would definitely recommend coming here. Their dresses and customer service are superb. Also you dont need an appointment like other stores!

I made an appointment to find the perfect wedding dress. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The owner gave me 100 % of her undivided attention the entire time I was there. I was unsure about what style I should try and she found the style that best fit my body type. I tole her what I wanted and she pulled beautiful dresses that all fit my criteria. They are incredibly helpful and really know their product. I bought the wedding dress of my dreams and it was truly a great experience. They made this part of my wedding planning stress less, exciting, and fun. I would recommend this bridal shop to anyone purchasing a wedding, bridesmaid, or prom dress.

I had such a great experience here getting my wedding dress! They were very accommodating with appointment times - I ended up going to try on dresses twice and they fit me to their schedule easily both times. Both Pam and Linda were honest and knowledgeable about the dresses. They didnt make me feel bad about myself for being a bride on a budget who couldnt afford anything expensive. AND they helped me find the absolute perfect dress for a price I could afford. I visited all of the bridal shops in this area and they all pale in comparison to the service I got here. I couldnt be happier!

Louis Marie Bridal is the best place to find your wedding dress! I was from out of state, but my fiance at the time was from the area. They made sure I had plenty of time to try on dresses that I thought I might like and they worked with my budget to ensure I found the perfect dress for my day! They also made sure I understood that the dress was a final sale, because they were ordering it just for me. I would definitely recommend them to all my friends!

This store and its employees are amazing! Mary and Pam are terrific! They know their stuff when it comes to bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, mothers dresses, prom dresses, tuxes, you name it! They are so kind and patient with everyone. I have seen them spend hours with a bride helping her to pick just the right dress. And they know the designers too! Brides to be will come in with a picture and they know actually who the designer is or will find a dress that comes close. They make sure to only carry the best. And on the slight chance there is ever a problem with something, they do everything they can to make it right. Make sure you you visit Louis Marie, you will be glad you did!

I got my bridesmaid gown at Louis Marie Bridal in 2008. They were super helpful, courteous and down-to-earth. After having two children I was not a typical bridesmaid shape. They assured me my gown would fit if I ordered according to the size chart (not the dream number in my head) and style of the dress. Since it was an A-Line we needed to focus on the accuracy of the bust and waist measurements and not worry too much about the hips. This would have been different if it had been a mermaid or trumpet style. They were so right. I didnt need any alterations and received many compliments on the beauty of the dress and how slimming it was *Bonus! They were easy to work with and went the extra mile for our bride who had purchased her dress elsewhere but needed many alterations.

Seemed like a sale was more important than proper customer service. I was trying to coordinate the MOH dress w/ my already purchased BM dresses. The staff did not tell me that they carried the BM dress in the store. I found it myself and they seemed disappointed when I brought it to the front to compare it to the Prom Dress that they were encouraging us to purchase. Tried to encourage us to purchase an all black dress so she would “stand out” in a wedding where the colors are white, aqua and silver. I was overall unhappy with service. They were pushy and disingenuous.

I placed an order for a bridesmaid dress over the phone. I was very worried that it would not fit or that it would not arrive quickly. However, I was quite surprised! The order was placed promptly and the dress arrived with plenty of time before the wedding. And it even fit! The only alterations that were needed were hemming (and thats always the case, Im short). The staff there is very kind and helpful. I highly recommend Louis Marie Bridal!

I recently went through the most stressful dress situation a bride could go through. The designer shipped a faulty dress with less than a month until my wedding. This was no fault of Louis Marie Bridal whatsoever. The designer was the issue. Mary and her staff bent over backwards to resolve the issue and made it possible for me to get my dream dress. Mary was able to get a brand new dress overnighted and she personally delivered it to my seamstress last night.I’m a very anxious and nervous person as it is, so this was a very stressful situation for me, but Mary seriously did everything possible to make me a happy customer. I cannot wait until my wedding day now!

We brought my daughters wedding gown and the bridesmaid dresses from Louis Marie Bridal. I also ordered my dress, Mother of the Bride. There was a problem with the order and my dress would not be delivered in time for the wedding. I was just going to cancel and go to another store and buy off the rack. They asked me to let them fix the order and I would have another dress the next day. They kept their word and I had another dress that was better than the original dress. The staff is great to work with.

I have visited this bridal store several times and the atmosphere and people are very pleasant to work with.

I phoned this store this afternoon before I left havre de grace where I live. I asked if I could come out to check out the store on behalf of my daughter before we commit to an appointment. The lady who answered said that would be fine and I would not need an appointment for that. She said we are open till 7 so come on out. I said I will see you later. I arrived around 6 and the store is closed ; no answer on their phone.

This was the first shop I came to when I started my wedding dress shopping. Im sure this store is great for any women size 0-10, but if youre hoping to find a breathtaking dress as girl bigger than a 10, Id suggest going elsewhere. Darlene took my first appointment and she was super helpful and sweet. She tried really hard to find a dress in a style I liked, unfortunately they dont have many options for bigger girls so my appointment ended up grinding to a halt. I decided to bring my mom the next day just to show her what I had picked out the day before, but I ended up getting some young girl who looks like she either just started working there or just doesnt know what to do. She literally dropped the dresses off in the dressing room and left. I had to struggle to get them out of the dress bags, put them on by myself, and adjust them if need be. Absolutely no help from her and I never went back after that last experience.

I’m a bridesmaid in 2 weddings this summer and both brides have had an awful experience with this store. Both brides were promised delivery dates that came and went with no help from the store. One of them was told her dress wouldn’t be in until less than 30 days before her wedding day. One of their dresses were finally delivered only to be the wrong color. She received no discount or means of making it right, just a measly “sorry”. We also went bridesmaid dress shopping here before any of this happened and the sample dresses are the least inclusive of any store I’ve been too (I’ve been in 6 weddings in the last 4 years so I’ve seen a few stores). Another member of the wedding had ordered a dress from here that wouldn’t be delivered until after the date of the wedding. These are not the only ladies I’ve met with a less than favorable experience with this store. Check out Brides & Grooms or Claire’s instead.

Well, when selling a dress they are the most helpful people possible especially when you start looking for one more costly. This is why they got two stars...thats being generous. A little over a month later we received a notification that we were moving locations as I work for the Department of Defense. My wife called to try and return the dress or get a credit for a future one, they said they would call back. They did not call her back, so she called and then they said they cant accept this one because they already ordered another??? Isnt that what you do to replace any item? It seemed they were searching for a reason not to accept it back and at no time was she told or it said all sales are final. The dress was not worn or altered and there was nothing negative that caused her to return it. I am an active military member and we had to postpone the wedding and they refused to accept the dress back. I would def not recommend, in the rare chance you have to return the dress.

Went to this boutique with my bridal party and mother... we had high hopes for a great selection and walked in with quite peppy attitudes. We were sadly disappointed throughout the appointment. They would not allow my bridal party to search for dresses and quickly told them they must go back out in the waiting area. This was very uncomfortable. I will not return to this store given how many awesome shops there are to choose from. Shopping for a dress should be special and this place left each one of us with a sour taste.

If I could put no stars as a choice I would. My father took my future sister in law in there looking for a wedding dress and the salesperson working in the store was very rude to them. It was a scene out of Pretty woman, she stated that the dresses started at $900 and implied that they couldnt afford to shop there. When asked if she could measure the bride she refused claiming she didnt have time since she was by herself. Since their budget was around $1000 for the dress she didnt seem to want to be bothered by them and suggested they go to Davids Bridal. Im very disappointed in this I came in myself back in April and was treated very nice, the ladies working then were very helpful. For a small town business that should cater to locals this isnt how you treat people.

Online it stated that they had carried plus size dresses, but when I went they only had one plus size dress and it was the most ugliest dress that I seen. And when I asked it seemed as if they looked at me crazy like I shouldnt be there. Dont say that you carry plus if you really dont.

DO NOT USE THIS SHOP! Unless you want to feel rushed and uncomfortable, choose another boutique. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, we ordered 3 bridesmaid dresses and 3 flower girl dresses. 2 of our BM dresses came back in the wrong size (even after being measured) and had to be reordered...AT THE EXPENSE OF OUR BRIDESMAID! Not once did any of the sales ladies take responsibility for what happened, never apologized, and honestly didnt really seem to care. I would discourage any bride from choosing the dresses for their special day from this shop!

AMAZING shop!! Do not pass up having the chance to work with Mary and Pam! I literally was having a horrible time deciding on a dress.. I had been to every shop in Northern Delaware, and could not make a decision. Pam was so patient and kind, she let me try on some dresses without an appointment (just happened to be at a boutique a block away so I stopped in with no appointment) and after a short conversation with her on what I was imagining as my perfect dress, she was able to pull my DREAM dress! I cant wait to go back and try it on for my family.. put this shop on your list of stops when shopping for the big day! I can not give them enough praise!

My wife and I were just walking around town on a rainy day. She decided that she wanyed to look at dresses. Well I didnt care I didnt have anything to do. So we went in and we were politely greated. The staff was very nice and helpfull.

Louis Marie Bridal is such an amazing store! I fell in love with a dress I found online and could not find a store that had it. I called 20 plus stores and the ones that sold the designers dresses told me I could purchase the dress from them, but I would not be able to try it on first. I live in New Jersey and Louis Marie Bridal was literally the only store in the tri-state area that I came across that would order a sample for me to try on. When I called they asked you think thats your dress, I said yes and they said ok, then well make sure you get to try it on! When the temporary sample came in, I drove 2 and a half hours, I tried it on and it was definitely the one! I am so grateful to this store! I might of settled for a dress I didnt love if it werent for them! I am picking up my dress next week from them, and I cannot wait!

Last time I went there it wasnt bad at all but a lady yelled at my child last time.... but this time I now say Im not ever gonna come again... we were looking for a dress and once we went in i felt werid. All of the ladies working there were just looking at me. As if I should have not been their. Then before we were walking about a lady says didnt find anything you liked? I said no and told her I didnt have much time anyway because the event Im going to is in a month and she just looked at me up and down in disgust! Im never coming again!
