I stopped in for a eye exam. I need slight readers working on a computer all day. They are so friendly, and professional. I never needed glasses and Amanda was amazing!!! She helped me go through a million different styles and colors and I found the perfect frames. She was so well informed and honest if she felt they didnt fit you. She went above and beyond to help a first time glasses buyer.

I have been here twice now, and they are excellent. Im very pleased with how focused they are on making sure you are well cared for.

Came in to get new lenses and they clearly didn’t know what they were doing and had 0 care in my glasses and i stood there waiting for them to put them in right and adjust the frames which they did a horrible job at doesn’t even sit right on my face had to leave and schedule an appointment with a different branch to have the issue resolved. poorly run branch with careless employees.

My first and last day of using lenscrafters service. Monday, March 22nd, 2021 after seeing the independent optometrist at the middletown CT location, I looked around the store and was unable to find any glasses I liked. So I decided to add my new prescription on my old Gucci glasses which is 2 years old. After the associate at lenscrafters ordered my prescription, I asked her to adjust my glasses for me as they felt a little loose. Anyone who has had glasses adjusted before knows heat has to be applied to the frame in order to adjust. This lady( the associate at the store), I believe her name is Amanda, took my glasses and attempted to adjust it without applying heat and broke it right in front of me. She proceeded to tell me since they do not have my same glasses in stock, I can order it online and she will talk to her manager to reimburse me the amount. She said she can only apply a $50 discount to my prescription but she will speak to her manager and give me a call the next day. It has been more than 1 week and I have still not heard from Amanda nor her manager. I received a call from another associate 3 days ago to tell me my prescription was ready and for me to bring my new glasses in for the prescription. When I asked about the reimbursement, She told me she will ask Amanda to give me a call, well I am still waiting for at the least a courtesy call from Amanda or her manager.This is not good customer service. It is unprofessional for lenscrafters to negligently break a customer’s glasses and fail to offer reimbursement or at the least a follow up call from a manager or the store associate. This will be the last time I do any kind of business with this store. Too bad, we are a family of 4 and we all wear glasses so they just lost our business.

I’ve been going to this LensCrafters for a couple years now and the staff at the eye doctors office is amazing. This review is about LensCrafters NOT OculusDocs. There is this one lady on the LensCrafters side who has horrible customer service skills. She needs to learn how to be friendlier with customers and to not rush them. I am not sure what her name is but she is completely rude!

Extremely disappointed, lack of care and customer service, lazy and unwilling to help.Went there for cleaning supplies and after paying for them realized they didnt apply my AAA discount, lied to my face saying they no longer take AAA, called the West Farms Store to confirm the still do accept AAA.I returned the items that same day and 10 days later they havent credited my account yet. They said to solved I have to call corporate and fill out a form to claim it, it could take up to 15 business days.What a joke.

Horrible! I arrived 13 minutes late because there was NO parking. The Dr was still in with the patient before me which was confirmed several times by the receptionist. I clearly asked if it was accurate to say if I’d arrived on time for my appointment I’d still be sitting in the waiting room, which he confirmed to be accurate yet they still refused to honor my appointment. Absolutely horrible customer service.

The employees were a lot friendlier than I anticipated. They made the exam process a breeze, which eased my anxiety around how much I had to pay for new glasses! The doctor and eye contact specialists were especially sweet and informative.

My wife, my nephew and myself all had appointments for eye exams this morning. It takes almost an hour to get to Middletown from our house. We had to park in a pay-to-park lot 3 blocks away. We walked to Lenscrafters. They seemed annoyed that there were 3 of us. They said we couldnt all be there at the same time. We werent told this when we had originally made the appointment. They said our other customers havent even been here yet, Im not sure what that means. The place was dead, it was just us in there. They treated us very badly. I ended up leaving while they too care of my wife and nephew. I ended up canceling my exam. I wont ever go there again. The eye doctor that saw my wife even apologized to her and said the woman up front had treated us badly and she couldnt understand what the fuss was about.

I made my appt and mistakenly scheduled it at the same time as another one. 1 call and they accommodated me the same day. I was greated pleasantly, not kept waiting. Dr Jola was polite, professional and very nice. Then the ladies ( I apologize I forgot names) helped me decide on lenses that were affordable and exactly what I needed. My lenses came in in 24 hours! I was able to get my frames with the new lens in 1 day. They are great!!! Ill definitely refer others and return in a year. Thank you

Great customer service! Pete dealt with my order and the process was smooth- I actually got both of my glasses the same day, in less than 3 hours! The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The frames and lens are also affordable. I would definitley recommend.

I typically go here for eye exams, but I was very disappointed with the customer service I received over the phone. I asked for a price for what it would cost to replace the lenses in my glasses, thinking that the customer service representative would be able to look my records up and give an estimate. Instead, she told me she couldnt give me a price without my prescription, and when I explained that I didnt know what it was off hand, she repeated herself, rather than giving a price range. Im going to definitely consider going elsewhere to purchase glasses.

If I could put zero stars I would. I tried to call this office today and the woman who answered had a horrible attitude. She cut me off and transferred me to the doctors extension line before I could even explain what exactly I was calling for. Once I got transferred the other woman said shed have to transfer me back because they couldnt help me with what I needed. Im thinking, no kidding, I dont need to see the doctor, if only the woman who transferred me cared the slightest bit to listen she would have known that. Once I got transferred back for the second time, she answered the phone by saying You got a question? By that point I was so upset with how poorly I was being treated that I made up my mind to avoid doing business with them altogether. The man who wrote a review before me got it spot on...she acted like I was bothering her by taking time out of her day to ask for help and like she was doing me a huge favor by picking up the phone. I have been to other LensCrafters before and have NEVER been dismissed and mistreated like I was today. I could kick myself for not getting her name but maybe I would have had a better chance to do so if she wasnt so quick to get rid of me. I truly hope this woman changes her attitude because Lenacrafters lost my business for good due to her negligence. And if she doesnt eventually get fired for treating customers ( or should I say people) this way, then she should be counting her blessings.

Having never gone to a Lenscrafters before, I was skeptical, but my experience surpassed my expectations. The staff were friendly and helped me with a confusion (on my part) in my appointment scheduling; both times that I came in my wait time was about ten minutes. The professionals who examined my eyes were both very nice and knowledgeable. The price for an eye exam and contact fitting is a little high, but they didnt pressure me to buy any products from them. In conclusion, I would definitely visit this store again, for their straightforward approach, quick service and able staff.

I walked into the store ready to spend at least a couple of hundred on new glasses, as my glasses broke. The woman was downright rude. She told me I couldnt be helped for a couple of hours and I couldnt be in the store. I will never be back.

Eye exam was quick and easy. The staff was knowledgable and very nice. They worked with my availability, had an excellent selection of frames and the ability to cut and put prescriptions on the lens in less than an hour and half was amazing. Fully recommend!

The BEST experience I have EVER had at an eye doctor - and Ive been going since childhood. Dr Jenny Cha was exceptional in both her examination of my eyes and her superb bedside manner. She is warm, inviting, informative and highly professional - making the appointment feel almost like your chatting with an old friend WHILE at the eye doctors. Yvette McCullough, the eyecare professional that fit me for my new contacts, was also incredible. She took the time to really find out what I was looking for (and what bothered me about my previous lenses) before fitting me with a daily lens that is so comfortable I was able to wear it the entire day without a problem - no easy feat for someone with an astigmatism who is used to hard toric lenses! When making my appointment a week ago I spent some time working with the lovely lady at the front desk (I wish I knew her name!) and she was just as informative and open as the rest of the team. Overall, impressive experience at a medical office - I entirely forgot it was a doctors visit! I would HIGHLY recommend you go to this location for all of your eyecare needs; I know you wont ever find me at another eye doctor as long as they are around!

It is serious and read it before going!Jola was the person who surveyed my eyes. She was like in a rush and she was just like to do everything quickly!I come from Iran, and I always go to eye dr to check my eyes. Yes you have to wait hours to see the dr but it means that the doctor NEVER KICKS YOU OUT of the room! But here the dr constantly sees the clock and she told me ohhh you have to be hurry because there are other patients!I am so sorry for you! You are Dr but your MAIN responsibility is to SERVE the patient and listen to their worries and check everything!I am a sensitive girl! I remember I scare my dr put lenses on my eye( because I wanted lens contact at that moment) and he was so patient!Dr talked to their patient like a psychologist!I would never and never and never go for this dr!HOWEVERThe consultants were friendly.

I went to this store to get a new pair of sunglasses, because I heard from several people that the customer service was absolutely top notch at this location in Middletown, CT. I dont have prescription lenses because my eyesight is great- but Ive wanted to get a pair of Oakleys for a long time now, so I decided on the Gas Can design/style which are excellent to say the least!! I was taken care of by the Assistant Manager Chelsea, who was able to answer all of my questions completely and without any issues at all! On top of being very knowledgeable she was VERY polite, professional, and clearly demonstrated an appreciation for me as a customer. While I was in the process of paying for my shades I was also greeted by the store manager Anna, who walked over in a swift fashion just to say hi and make sure I had a great experience. They are a great team together and demonstrate the right kinds of leadership values any store owner should be proud to have. Not only did they set great examples for the rest of the staff, they had no problem performing the kinds of lower level tasks most people in their position would probably just pawn off on regular staff members- this showed me that they really care about their staff and the company which in return brings customers like me a dedicated, outstanding, and satisfied experience. 5 Stars for the Middletown CT Lenscrafters store, its managers, and awesome customer service. Also, my Oakley Gas Can shades are the best thing Ive ever owned! Thank you!

Expensive, dismissive, made my lenses wrong. Ive been wearing glasses for over 40 years and knew right away that there was something wrong with the progressive lenses they made for me. The guy who seemed to be in charge came across as arrogant and dismissive of my concerns, refusing to even test the lenses to make sure they didnt make a mistake. He told me to come back in a week if they were still bothering me. I kept getting headaches and just about everything looked a little blurry. A week later I went back and told him the lenses were still wrong and were giving me headaches. He STILL refused to check them, instead having the audacity to say that I must have answered the questions wrong during the eye exam... I left in disgust and went to the Lenscrafters in Rocky Hill where I explained the situation and they immediately offered to check the lenses for me against the prescription. Turns out when the Middletown location made the lenses they made them wrong, starting the magnification WAY up near the top of the lenses so it was like I was looking through a weak magnifying glass all the time which explained the blurriness and headaches. Unfortunately the Rocky Hill location couldnt take the hit on replacing the lenses so I had to go back to the Middletown location. Finally the Middletown location tested the lenses when I told them exactly what they did wrong and that it was verified by a different Lenscrafters. They finally replaced my lenses with ones that were correctly made, but it took about 2.5 weeks from when I originally told them there was something wrong. Very poor customer service for the most expensive glasses Ive ever purchased, Ill never use that location again.

Dr Jola advised me to get an eyedrop to get rid of bumps she is very knowledgable and i really appreciate it. the horror part is when she turned me over to the other lady who is taking care of the contact lense fitting. the old lady advised me not to buy the eyedrop and advised to go back to her after 2 weeks! lense fitting is good right after 2 weeks. i ran out of sample and i went to store to order the box. i asked the other old lady if i can have at least few samples while im waiting for my order and she said NO! what a bunch of witches! stay out here...

October 2014 & January 2015. The Middletown, CT LensCrafter is known to be extremely busy, has been known to have questionable customer service, and you didnt always get your glasses in an hour. (Ive been frequenting there since 2011) However on these dates I had great customer service all the way around.From health insurance document processing, eye examination, frame fittings, eye wear selection (designer brand frames from recycled plastics for under $150! Whats not to like about that!?), and on this particular day I received my glasses in an hour.The only downside is that the physical location is very narrow and can become cramped however the space is very tidy and organized. For what the physical location lacks is made up in professionalism and great customer service. Andrea, her staff, and Dr. Jola were all very knowledgeable and personable.
